Long fingers encased in metal gloves typed away almost continuously at a laptop, filing away the days important information as she waited for a specific someone to waltz in through that door. However, before she'd ever consider allowing him in this room, she had to have todays work done. Maybe that was Fury's influence speaking in her mind, or maybe even Coulson's, but either way..
She sighed in relief as she typed in the last few words, hit the print key, and crossed her arms over her black leather uniform. Now, all was well in her world and she could put the information away in its lovely manila file, and put that file in the lovely silver file cabinet to her left. As it printed she looked about her rather homely office, with a small smile on her normally stoic face.
Decorated in silver like most offices, it seemed very plain at first, but everywhere one looked there were pictures of her friends, Fury smiling, and a new addition was a picture of the Avengers at Shwarma after their epic battle. She smiled and got up, putting the papers in their file, and the file in the cabinet.
When she returned to the seat behind her desk, she realized her guest was quite late. Then again, who was she to scold a god on being late? Oh, well, he was nice enough to say he would come, and she should at least give him that. She grabbed the squishy ball Tony had sent her, after the last stunt he'd pulled on the ship misfired and had left her hair off colored. She'd preferred that the thing was in the shape of his head, instead of the Stark Industries logo.
That pretentious jerk was gonna get her boot someday. Or she'd vibrate a small portion of his brain enough to make him mentally handicapped for the rest of his life.
The click of her door beginning to open startled her a little, and she put the ball away, adjusting herself so that she had the finger triangle of power resting just under her chin as she looked toward her visitor. "About time you showed up. I was afraid you wouldn't. Do take a seat, sir, this interview might take a while." she stated stoically, as she would with anyone who wasn't close to her. She carefully looked him over, eyes narrowing as she waited for him to sit. "If I may ask, why exactly were you late?"
