Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

it had started out as a normal day on the otherside of the world. The Chinese had woken from their slumber and begun their early morning rituals. Children woke for their schooling, some were perhaps still teeth while others looked over their homework from the night before. Men and women took in their fill for the day and kissed their loved ones goodbye so that they may depart for work.
In the outer part of the galaxy that held the planet Earth appeared a being feared throughout the universes. He had kept quiet in the sense of not destroying this universe or the planet he was promised. He moved with ease through the planets, his home passed by without even the smallest of glances given. The Titan was feared by all who knew his name and for those who did not possess that knowledge, they were taught quickly.
There was a mean behind his spoiling of the bratty Asgardian child. To be allowed a weapon connected to such a powerful artifact and to not make good on what was promised... It brought the wrath of something wicked. He took his time as be moved on, The Other pouring information of the humans as they advanced. He cared not for any of them, their whole species he would wipe out should the want arise. The Trickster God was nothing more than a pawn in his game to achieve an end of something most severe. But for now such plans were on the back burner for the moment. He had come to collect something that went astray a year ago. But to act suddenly would be harmful for his plans. Loki underestimated the midgardians, the humans, mortals; insects. Instead his presence, his throne sat in the hemisphere of the Earth; above Asia, above China.
The white clouds changed to an ominous black with swirls of gray. Thunder sounded throughout the heavens as lightening crackled down to the ground. The skies darkened as the people below poured out of their homes, out of their work. They stared in amazement, in fear, as their fingers pointed upward and questions and exclamations were shouted into the air. Not a being would have access to his lair but it was quiet clear a disturbance had overcome their atmosphere. And there he would stay for the moment in a state that would be quite ominous for some and terror for others at the unexplainable shift in their climate and skies.
Thanos was here to stay. [/blockquote]

It had been a slow month for Peter. Slow couple of months, actually. He hadn't received any new orders from any of the higher galactic powers. Looked like the universe was pretty safe as it was. Besides, he didn't really mind being stuck in Earth's orbit, as long as he did things to take his mind off it. Orbiting a planet, even one as beautiful as Earth, can be boring to a seasoned space commando. It was a good thing there was a lot of things to do on this tiny blue spherical planet. Earth really was an amazing world, in that sense.
Peter was considering what to do with some of his spare time, when one of the multiple consoles on the bridge started to beep and flash. It startled the Star Lord out of his bored stupor. He lurched forward and shifted his seat around to the console. "An energy signal." he muttered to himself. "It looks...Chitauri in origin, and big." What kind of Chitauri ship could cause an energy signal that big? He had been made aware of the Chitauri attack on Earth due to the Internet. The biggest ship in that instance was their dropships. This was a lot bigger.
It seemed to be emanating from somewhere over China. That was definitely where Peter needed to be right now. He took the helm and shifted his orbit to above China. The signal was a lot stronger now, but still Peter wasn't sure what it was. Perhaps it was best to hail the ship. He switched to a known Chitauri frequency and transmitted the message "Unidentified Chitauri ship, this is the Star Lord. You're advised to retreat to geo-stationary orbit. You're scaring the natives. Comply." All Peter had to do was wait, and see what the ship would do next.

Amora
In the distance, several feet away from the dwelling space craft did a flash of light green light crack against the metal of a sky scraper. The green and black clad sorceress watched from the decided safe spot for the moment. She knew of what hovered in the sky, the Titan that resided upon his hovering chair. Amora smirked wickedly as she watched the other being approach Thano' ship and let off a warning. Earth had yet to really experience galactic visitors. The tesseract sent off the appropriate battle signal to all the wrong types of creatures. She knew not the reason Thanos had appeared on Midgard but she knew it did not bode well for his goal.
The view from atop was perfect to watch the mounting battle intensify. So far the ship had yet to acknowledge the order, it hovered still. Amira's right fingers touched her lips softly as her weight shifted to right, her hip jutted out slightly. But to stay to watch meant her own devious ways went cold. She was feeling quite ambitious, her plans always being something that benefited the witch. Her long blonde hair billowed in the wind as she turned to her right, into the stone of the building and disappeared with a flash of bright light that crackled like lightning as it disappeared.

Excuse me, but I might drink a little more than I should tonight. And I might take you home with me if I could tonight. And baby, I'mma make you feel so good tonight. Cuz we might not get tomorrow. So the universe was full of big shots that thought they were the coolest thing since sliced bread. Big deal! They'd obviously had yet to meet Tony Stark, who really was the coolest thing since sliced bread. That's what he'd tell you, and then he'd be sure to follow it up with asking if you liked sandwiches and inviting you to make one with him later.
But condiments were not at the forefront of Stark's mind today as he strolled down the street. He had his phone out, tapping away on the clear screen without looking at where he was stepping. Why did he need to do that? There were four other people with him that could watch where he was going for him.
Happy was good for that.
"Mr. Stark! Mr. Stark, this way, Sir."
Tony turned on his heel and spun in the direction of Happy's voice as he typed on his phone, communicating directly with JARVIS. There were bigger things going on today than just the expansion of Stark International.
"Sir, I personally think that meeting went extraordinarily well. Especially when you related Fujikawa's merging with Stark International. I think you really got their competitors heated up." Someone else insignificant chattered behind him.
"Uh-huh...." Tony furrowed his eyebrows on the screen as Happy directed him again the way he was supposed to go. He double-tapped the phone and zoomed in on the data.
"I've just received information that DMG Entertainment has heard about your presence and wants to do a feature-"
"Does anyone see the giant storm in the sky over there?" Stark interrupted, nodding his head in the direction of the swirling clouds of unrest, though he hadn't looked up once from his phone. Everyone behind him was quiet. "Guess not."
"Is it... dangerous? Those clouds are swirling.... Should we go inside?" One of the executives behind him asked.
"Normally I would say no," Tony replied. He stopped in his tracks and tapped his earpiece. JARVIS fed him the information he'd already guessed.
"Normally?" Happy echoed.
"That is not a storm. It's not a tornado. It's not a funnel cloud. That is the kind of atmospheric disturbance that comes with certain entrances by certain space-dwelling gods of thunder," Tony explained. "However, it's not Thor and... there's something in the center of it." He finished, mumbling.
"Jarvis, I want to know what's in the eye of that storm asap. And patch me through to SHIELD. This looks like something Fast and Furious will wanna know about out. Oh, and tell Pepper to reschedule my next meeting. I don't think I'm going to make it." He slipped the phone into his pocket and walked up to Happy, taking the red and gold briefcase out of his hands while the executives behind him protested his actions. He stopped, physically paling when JARVIS patched through a message from an orbiting ship that referenced...
"Chi'tauri...."
"...Wait. Weren't those the creepy aliens that destroyed New York a while back?" Happy asked, staring at his boss while Tony took hold of the brief case.
"The very same," Tony replied. He dropped the case on the ground and activated it. The RTD in the center glowed brightly and the machine started whirring. Tony couldn't help but think back to the conversation he'd had with Loki that night at the bar. Was this the next part of his plan?
"Stark! You can't just leave! We have another meeting in fifteen minutes!"
"I think you can handle that one, Zimmer. You've got Accutech under control; what's a few dozen Chinese men? They're like half your height. Just channel your inner Jack Burton. You'll do fine."
"Stark, I really don't think this is a good move. You've already made too big a commitment to these 'Vindicators'. If you stark slacking on your company dutie-"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you miss the part about the aliens invading that I just talked about?" Tony interrupted him. "And in case you hadn't noticed from the last time this kind of thing happened, they don't come in peace. And it's Avengers. Seriously, how did you not know that? We're in the news like, every day."
The last pieces of the armor clicked into place and the faceplate shut on Tony's head. The eyes of his mask lit up with the same brilliant blue-white glow as the bright circle in the chest of his armor.
As soon as the shiny red and gold armor had finished assembling, Tony caught the attention of whoever wasn't staring at the sky. His alias, Iron Man, was thrown around in conversation and exclamations as people began to crowd around him.
Stark looked at Zimmer and the others before turning to Happy. "I'll be back in fifteen minutes so Abe doesn't have a coronary. Just get them to the next building as quickly as possible. And if things go south- seek shelter, Hogan."
"You got it, Boss." Happy nodded and turned around to shepherd the Stark International staff away from Iron Man as Tony squatted down and then leaped into the air, soaring into the sky to get a better read of the weird activity in the clouds.
Grab somebody sexy tell 'em hey, Give me everything tonight. I want all of you tonight. Cuz we might not get tomorrow. |

The voice echoed in the heavens on orders of identifying oneself. Thanos remained seated calmly within his floating fortress, his hands cupped before him in front of his face. He had yet to make a move, he didn't need to. The technology of these humans were nothing in compared to the accomplishments and the knowledge Thanos held. He was able to smack the world eater back several planets away, a being that was decidedly more powerful than the Titan. But when was the sociopath ever one to allow another an upper hand? There were pieces being assembled, weapons in the process of near creation that would inform Galactus just who Thanos really was when they met once again.
And these humans, these scurrying little ants hadn't a clue as to what dwelled in the shadows of moons and planets. With the invasion of last year in New York the child of frozen blood exposed the Mightiest Heroes to but a bit of truth. The Chitari were merciless but ultimately unprepared against the forces that had assembled. And what does a being with unlimited resources and intelligence do next? Loki became a prisoner of Asgard, a place in which Thanos surprisingly does not have access to, so he began to watch these Avengers. But with them so came other groups such as SHIELD, the Lanterns, X-Men, and other various established powered groups. There were beings in which caught the Titans dreadful attention and that was never quite a good thing.
Without saying a word, within his mind, Thanos directed a blaster of his ship towards the booming voice outside. Energy pooled then suddenly blasted out in the direction of the other ship. He would gladly squish any who approached as he was simply waiting, allowing his presence to be felt by the brat of Asgard. Thanos had began to feel the wants of his Infinity Gauntlet and he was damn positive he would get what he wanted.

The energy blast didn’t miss its target. It struck Peter’s ship dead on. The Star Lord attempted to move the vessel out of range, but the blast struck one of the ship’s engines. The weapon had depleted his shields by a fair amount, so he was a bit more vulnerable. On the bridge, lights were flashing all over the place. Peter ran between consoles, shutting off the lights, pressing buttons, trying to compensate for the damaged engine. It was visibly smoking. Given the nature of the ship itself, it probably wouldn’t survive another hit. If the ship lost even one engine, it would fall to the ground. Such was the precariousness of aerospace engineering.
“Alright, that was pretty impressive.” Peter conceded. As much as he didn’t want to die facing the end of a Chitauri weapon, he was forced to admit that this enemy had guts to go toe to toe with a Star Lord, maybe even beat him. He tapped a button on his helmet, and the iconic mask snapped over his face. “Return fire! External auto guns!” At his command, a pair of large turrets rose from the hull of the ship. Automatically, they took aim at the storm cloud. Peter manually turned the rest of the ship’s guns in the direction of Thanos’ craft. It didn’t take long for him to start firing. Hundreds of energy bolts bombarded the alien ship. To those on the ground, it would look like fireworks. Not many ships had been able to withstand a barrage of this magnitude before.

Captain Steve Rogers was located at the gym side of the Hellicarrier, pounding the punching bag with all his might. He thought about the Chitauri invasion, and all the lives that were lost that day. His thoughts were his fuel, making his blows increase by the second. At certain boiling points, the punching bag had been knocked off the hook breaking the metal snag that lifted it. After he'd continued beating the hell out of the bag, a high ranking SHIELD agent came in and saluted him. Steve immediately stopped what he was doing, and unwrapped the bandages around his hand, "At ease soldier." The SHIELD agent filled the Captain in on what was going on in China. Tony Stark was already present on the scene, but would've needed back-up, direct orders from Nick Fury. Before the Agent could fully reveal the name 'Chitauri', the Captain had sprinted towards the room that held his costume. Within minutes, Steve was fully dressed and ready to accompany Stark.
-----------------------------
Steve jumped in the seat of a Harrier GR7A, and quickly zoomed off the tarmac into the air. He headed towards the location of Stark hoping he wouldn't have done something stupid to compromise the mission. As he continued zooming over the Pacific Ocean, he really wanted to get there before anything bad would've happened. Steve began flying low, following the weird formation of the clouds. He looked overboard, and noticed he was still over water. The patriotic hero gritted his teeth as he pushed the lever slowly, increasing the boosters of the Harrier. As the jet continued flying at great speeds, the Captain threw on his parachute just in case the jet malfunctioned from any electromagnetic pulses the ship would've gave off. He looked down at his radar, indicating an ETA of exactly five minutes from the location of the Chitauri ship. As the eye of the hurricane, became noticeable, the Cap's eyes had widened at the sight of the monstrosity. Steve hovered the aircraft low, trying to find the Iron man, but couldn't spot him. "Where is he" he asked looking down at his radar, not spotting a single metal object. He watched as the Chitauri ship released fire upon another vessel. The large blast emitted a large blinding light, causing Steve to cover his eyes. He opened them to see that the other vessel seemed in tact, though the barriers were badly damaged.
Whoever was trying to get close to the Chitauri ship, was signing their death warrant. Captain needed to stop the vessel, before it would've returned fire. "IS THERE ANYONE ON THIS FREQUENCY? THIS IS CAPTAIN STEVE ROGERS, DO NOT ENGAGE THE CHITAURI VESSEL, I REPEAT DO NOT ENGAGE" yelled Steve over the radio. He only hoped the vessel would've received the message, but it was too late. "Damnit!" yelled Steve as he pounded the dashboard. The large blasts being emitted from the vessel. From below, Steve saw a small ball of light darting straight up towards the location. It was sure enough, the Iron man.

"Talk to me, Jarvis. Should I prepare for a trip to Kansas?"
"I'm afraid not, Sir. The eye of the storm is something else entirely." Schematics of what JARVIS could see in the storm, graphs and ratings about the energy output, and analyses of the silhouette of the ship-like centerpiece popped up on Tony's HUD.
Iron Man slowed himself in the air to look at the charts when alarms began going off in the suit and warning signs flashed on the sides of his screen. Tony's eyes focused on the cloud from which a blast of energy had originated, coming straight at him.
Iron Man swerved around the energy, dodging it just in time as it dissipated across the sky beyond him, but the second blast wasn't aimed at him.
"Jarvis, what the hell was that?"
"Trace amounts of radiation detected," JARVIS replied.
"Great, I was right. It's Chi'Tauri. I hate being right sometimes."

Tony turned down the volume before Cap's shouting made him deaf. "Cap, I hear ya loud and clear! No need to scream, we're not at a rock concert-"Before the Quinjet came into view, weapons fire from Tony's side caught the attention of his suit. Iron Man halted mid-air as he attempted to quickly spot the other vessel, which was fast-approaching. "Whoa, whoa! Hey, watch it, Speed Racer!" He shouted to Peter. Doom knew it was time. The time for something great, something grave. The Apocalypse had finally arrived to oversee the true power Earth had to offer. The excitement had settled in at the pit of the mad doctor's stomach. His crazed laughs echoed throughout the entire Hall of Doom, as he could feel the power of the arrival. This was it. The titan known as Thanos had arrived to Earth, and things weren't going to be so pretty from here on out. With every single hero's downfall imminent, Doom would've been there to scavenge the powers of the fallen. He would hit the heroes of Earth when they were most vulnerable, and then conjure enough power to overthrow the Titan. Doom pictured himself in that brilliant mind of his, sitting in a throne above Earth, watching his slaves at work.
Doom prepared phase one of his plan, and was out of his lair within a matter of seconds. He glided above the eerie clouds, dodging a few flashes of lightning. Victor was gliding through the air with incredible speed, hoping to witness the appearance of the powerful Titan. Doom held the gamma detection device in his hand reading the increasing power levels each mile he glided. The clouds grew much more eerie, as he moved closer to where Thanos was located.
Doom finally arrived in China, where he spotted the large frigate from above. Others had arrived on the scene to get an idea as to what the hell was going on. Doom's smirk was wide under the titanium mask, as he looked up at the large Chitauri frigate that began to attack. A large rush of excitement flowed through his muscles, as if he'd received a whopping dose of epinephrine. "Yes! Yes!" spoke Doom as he landed on a nearby building. The wake of Thanos was at its early stage.
