And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Pamela wears her long red hair in loose waves most of the time. Although her hair is long and rarely forced into a "style", it is well kept and shiny. Over the years she has worn it at a variety of lengths, ranging from just past her shoulders to waist length with bangs.
Eyes: Large and glittering, her eyes are a shade of her favourite colour: green.
Height: 5 ft 8
Weight: 130 pounds
Distinguishing Marks: Pamela has a slight greenish hue to her complexion, as well as green tinted lips. If she really wanted to, she could perhaps concentrate and return to a more Caucasian hue, but for the most part she chooses not to.
Appearance: Pamela stands a few inches taller the average woman at 5ft 8, and has curves in all the right places. She always wears green, although she does wear quite a small amount of fabric as she is not afraid of showing a bit of flesh.
Whilst she does have a bit of a wild look about her, with her slightly green tinted skin, green lips, untamed, long, red hair, and vines twisted around various parts of her; she does still ooze sex appeal. She is quite aware of this appeal that she has. She carries hersel well and knows how to get the most out of her looks.

Personality:
Once upon a time a far younger Pamela Isley was a quiet, naive and trusting young girl. She wouldn't have said "boo" to a goose, some would have even described her as a shrinking violet. Post accident, all of that changed.
One thing that didn't change was her compassion for plants, however now it is only for plants and only very few other things. She views most other humans with a distant and slight disdain. On the other hand, humans who go out of their way to destroy anything she cares about (namely plants) she harbours a deep animosity for. Her anger escalates quickly, and rapidly she is ready to have her revenge (ideally quite spectacularly and using plants to help her - just for a little ironic justice.) However she does have a soft spot for a select few people, and to those people alone, she is a surprisingly loyal ally. Whilst sometimes she can be cool and calculating, she isn't devoid of emotion, far from it.
She is a determined and extremely focused young woman who refuses to give up on her goals. She also doesn't have any qualms about hurting bystanders, innocent or not, to get what she wants. She happily manipulates people, especially men and happily plays the role of the vamp or the femme fatale with ease. This is also a tad ironic as in the past she was bordering on a little prudish, however it seems that now she is at the polar opposite.
"With great power comes great responsibility"
Powers:
- Plant Manipulation and Control: Pamela has the ability to manipulate plants with only a mere touch. Not only can she force immense and sudden growth spurts, as well as how and where they move; she can make plants grow in unexpected ways as well. The mutations can be sudden and deadly; rose can grow hugely in size, large enough to swallow a human whole, daffodils could grow teeth.... the possibilities are endless.
- Immunity: Poison Ivy is immune to most kinds of poisons, bacteria, fungi and toxins (including Joker venom.)
- Control over others: Not only does Pamela produce pheromones that allow her to a degree of control over people (although some strong people are able to resist her.)
- Deadly toxin: Poison Ivy produces a deadly toxin that comes from her lips, making the easiest way for her to transfer the toxin to others is in the form of a kiss.
Weapons:
Poison Ivy always carries a vial of poison around with her, she also sometimes carries a wrist mounted crossbow which fires poison tipped darts.
Strengths/Abilities:
- High level of intelligence: Pamela Isley is a highly intelligent botanist and has a deep understanding of plant life and how to get the best results from her little darlings.
- Athletic: Poison Ivy is quite fit and can handle herself in basic fights. Her acrobatic ability means that she has great balance and co-ordination, so if for some reason she is unable to manipulate her target, she can still throw a couple of punches and get away.
- Ability to manipulate: Through her feminine charms as well as the other ways that she can control people (see powers) she is able to manipulate most men to do exactly what she wants. (Batman excluded, but she wanders if practice would change that.)
Weaknesses:
- Protecting plants: Pamela has put herself in harms way on more than one occasion to protect her plants. She would do it again if needed. The only trouble is, she doesn't give any thought to the consequences and what might happen to her.
- Mental Instability: Pamela sanity has been called into question on more than one occasion. She does not agree with "them" though; she finds talking to her plants completely natural. She does however have to admit that she has a temper and has been described as having "episodes of rage."
- Due to the large amounts of chlorophyll in her system Ivy is weakened if she is away from daylight for sustained amounts of time.

History:
Pamela Isley was born to wealthy, upper class parents. They parented from a distance, and Pamela left home with little to no emotional attachment to them. She left home to attend university, studying her beloved botany. It was there that the once naive Pamela met, and fell for, Professor Woodrue. Little did she know at the time, he would change her life forever.
She and Professor Woodrue worked together on several experiments before the fateful day when he experimented on her. He injected her with a cocktail of plant based toxins. The experiment nearly claimed Pamela's life. Despite being hospitalised for six months, spending much of that time in a coma, she emerged not as Pamela Isley, but as Poison Ivy; new powers and mental issues in place. They tried to commit her to Arkham; they failed.
Unsure of how to control her powers, unable to trust the people around her Pamela cut herself off from civilised society and fled to the wilderness, immersing herself in plant life. She watched from afar how man thoughtlessly and selfishly ripped up Mother Nature's gifts. She would often have quite murderous thoughts about how to stop them. Whilst she had the drive, she didn't have the resources; it was at this time that she began to make the connections that she would need to save the plants and to punish anyone who had ungratefully destroyed them. It was also around this time that there was a fatal car accident involving her former Professor and a tree. Pamela was saddened at badly the tree had been damaged. As for the Professor?
...Tragically he didn't make it.
One of her first fiendish plots to be foiled was her attempt to hold the city to ransom, threatening to release deadly spores. She didn't really care if they met her demands or not; if they didn't she would release the spores and cleanse the city. Unfortunately for her Batman was able to stop her, and she was locked up in Arkham for a time. It was here that she met her new "bestie" Harley Quinn.

Arkham. This soulless place was just... awful. If you didn't have mental problems before you came into this place, you sure as hell would develop them by the time you left. Pamela's existence here wasn't so bad though. They allowed her one small plant just outside of her cell (unfortunately out of arms reach), and for the most part she didn't have any contact with the other inmates. The most tedious part of her day was having to converse with the shrink.
Pamela was also one to make the best of a situation. She had taken to giving the doctors Sphinx-esque answers to analyse. Their responses ranged from pure confusion to thinking that they had finally figured her out. What little did they know...
On this particular evening Ivy was restless. Her bare feet silently paced the same space in her confined cell. She wanted to tear at her clothes. She wanted, no, needed to be in a larger space. She needed to be outside.
She stood on her low bed and peered through the bars, gazing miserably out at the vast expanse that lay before her. So close but yet so far.
One day, she whispered wordlessly. Soon.
The captive was quite unaware of how soon though. As she stood there, gazing out, longing for freedom not a million miles away someone who was once an ally, was already working on how to bust Ivy out, and how once she was free, she could repay them.
