Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

He was at home in his apartment, since The Avengers weren't involved in some world saving mission at the moment. He recently left the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier after visiting Danii Washington. She was a great friend of his, plus he could relate to her patriotism. She was the only friend around at the moment, besides Clint and a few other S.H.I.E.L.D. members.
Tony, Bruce, Thor and Natasha weren't around right now, so Steve was heavily debating on recruiting new members into The Avengers. He was meeting all new superheroes and villains for the first time, which was quite intriguing to say the least. There were constant rumors going around about villains and their evil plans, but this was nothing out of the ordinary, because it was typical for villains to do so, but allot of these villains never met Captain America, which made Steve cautious as of late regarding The Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. He didn't want any harm brought upon his team and friends. He was always the one to be known to sacrifice himself for his friends and the greater good of the world, which just goes to show how courageous and brave he is to the dream of world freedom.
Hopefully one day, sooner rather than later of course, Steve would see a world that no longer needed war. One of his worst fears is another world war, because he's seen enough young men die already and doesn't need anymore bad memories or nightmares for that matter. Being in the war and seeing young men barely in their twenties getting blown up, ripped to shreds by gunfire, set to blaze on fire, executed by all ways that one can think to execute another person, which was enough to turn an average man into a madman, although Steve's willpower kept him fighting for that very cause. He done so that one day things of that nature will no longer occur in this world.
This was all normal thinking for Steve on a daily basis, but something on the television screen quickly gained his attention. It was breaking news about a local bank nearby that was being robbed by a group of villains. Their plan in robbing the bank was to gain superheroe's attention and Steve's attention was definitely set directly on the breaking news, which showed the bank, the horrified citzens, the NYPD on sight surrounding the bank with officers, and a lone helicopter flying above the bank.
Sirens of police cars traveling to the scene could be heard a few blocks over, then shortly faded away. Steve had to save the day once again, quickly going to his closet, and putting on his Captain America suit and sheild. He quickly left his apartment, climbing on his motorcycle, and wasted no time in traveling to the bank.
It didn't take long for Captain America to arrive, and upon arriving, everyone was happy to see his presence. They all realized that help was finally here. He climbed off his motorcycle and was immediately approached by an officer. "We're glad you're here, Cap. Listen, we can definelty use your help. There are civilians being held hostage inside by a group calling themselves, Sinister Twelve,"
[/i] The officer informed Cap. "Make sure that the citizens outside the bank remain safe. Keep them behind the barricades, inform them that assistance is here, and also that the situation is now under control. I'm positive that others will be arriving as soon as possible to support this sudden tragic occurrence,"[/i] With that said, Cap equipped his sheild, grippng it tightly in his right hand, and holding it in front of him like usual. He cautiously approached the entrance of the bank, but didn't enter just yet. He could hear the group inside threatening and torturing the hostages inside. There were only five present here at the moment, which consisted of Electro, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture, and Kraven the Hunter. Cap couldn't resist any longer, as he immediately entered inside the bank. Hopefully, other superheroes would show up to assist Captain America. [/div] [/style][/center]

Things seemed pretty quiet today as Amethyst moved through the city, leaping from building to building since she was focusing on merely patrolling, and also to avoid the busy streets. It was also certainly a quicker way to get back towards the mansion for her as well, with her agility, acrobatics and wall-crawling it wasn't hard to do. Of course there were some exceptions from when the buildings could be too far apart. But she often made do when it occurred.
After some time of her traveling the demonic appearing mutant paused upon one of the roofs, just to take a moment to take in the sights of her new home. Least it was sometimes, other times she would be in Canada while still retaining her connections with the X-men. The time spent with her new temmates had been a short one, a few months at the most and she quite enjoyed not always having to hide what she was. But still there were times she had no choice.
A few minutes soon passed before Amethyst was prepared to leave but her attention was captured by the sounds of several sirens and a helicopter hovering some blocks away. It seemed this quiet day had suddenly turned to something actually occurring and luckily she was already suited up and prepared. And fortunately it was a two piece suit designed to allow her the maneuverability she might need in situations like this.
Turning towards the sound of the sirens the demonic mutant made her way towards the sounds, moving at a much faster pace then earlier. Though by the time she finally got there she could already see that the crowd seemed almost hopeful, and from the looks of things it seemed a bank robbery was what was causing all the commotion along with a hostage situation. "Seems I'm not too late to join in, just hope it's not completely difficult."She muttered as she made her way down the building's side and landed behind the crowd.
Shifting her gaze to where there was a slight opening in the crowd Amethyst quickly made her way to the blockade, getting some surprise sounds as she passed. This however she ignored. Keeping her focus on helping she jumped over one of the road blocks, surprising a few officers enough to leave them a little dumb founded,"No worries here officers, just coming to help."Amethyst told them, flashing a quick smile before she made her inside to help hostages or anyone else there to get the situation under control.

Hawkeye>>>The sound of a motorcycle racing up the street rose above the rest of the cacophany, announcing the arrival of another hero. All Hawkeye had to do to get past the police lines was give the rookie cops up front a glare over his black Harley shades, and they had let him through. Actually, it probably hadn't been as much the glare as it was all the media attention the Avengers had gotten lately. Clint found that he couldn't go anywhere civilized and make his presence known, or else he would get hounded by people.
Clint felt refreshed and enlightened when he had gotten back from the mountains. The air never failed to bring his spirits back up. If Clint hadn't ended up as Hawkeye, he probably would have moved to the mountains, grown a really thick beard, and become a mountain man. Grown a connection with the wild. Clint always needed to visit from time to time. And while he was there he might as well score some bonus points with the higher-ups, too. This time he had brought home some prime, wild moose steak. Rumor had it that the top chef at SHIELD headquarters was going to prepare it for dinner someday in the next week. Clint knew everyone would enjoy it. Even flavored with pine-fueled smoke, the stuff was heavenly. He would have stayed longer up in Montana but Nick Fury had called him back from the wilderness. The big man thought that trouble was brewing on the horizon and he had been right. Crime rates had shot up in the past few days. It always took a while for the general population to stomach great change, like what had happened recently. And when it did finally sink in, the results were never good. He had seen the news about this holdup while eating lunch at his loft, and instantly Clint had dropped his ramen, grabbed his uniform and arrows, then pulled his Ducati superbike out of the parking garage. He hadn't gotten to ride it much since he had bought it almost a year prior to now. In that time, it had become 'Last Years Model'. It was still practically new though, jet black, red lacquer frame, and didn't have a scratch. Ran like a dream, too, so Clint figured that it was a whole lot better than having to run the whole way. Stopping on the go, Clint slid the back end of the bike around, jerking the keys out and dismounting in one smooth motion. The keys were instantly in his pocket, and as he nocked an arrow he quickly and quietly stepped up beside Cap. Boy, was he glad to see the first Avenger here. If he had been the only one he wouldn't have known what to do. Hawkeye said nothing, but glanced over at the Captain and nodded. He was ready for any order the senior soldier might give, and to back him when they finally, inevitably went in.

Danii hadn't bothered changing out of her actual SHIELD uniform yet, having spent the better part of the day on the Helicarrier itself. The blond had to chuckle at the thought, it was quiet today, all things considered, and so she had passed the time hanging out with Steve and trying to catch him up on all the stuff he had missed while frozen, along with trying to teach him how to mess with the new electronics. At least he was quick on the uptake, and really good company to keep, so she didn't have a problem spending a few hours explaining to him how to work a smartphone.
It was so quiet though that Danii had been allowed to go home early, and she jumped at the chance, after all it wasn't very often that sort of thing happened. Pulling a pair of jeans and her jacket on over her SHIELD suit, Danii had let her hair down and went running for home, thinking that maybe today she'd make a nice meatloaf with mashed potatoes for dinner. That sounded amazing, she could have her dad over to see her new apartment and meet her new roommate, hell maybe she'd extend in invitation to Steve too, when was the last time that man had gotten a good meal? Plans firmly in place all she had to do was actually get home, the thought caused her head flop forward on the steering wheel with a huff of annoyance, she was stuck in traffic again.
Twenty seconds from going into an amazing road rage filled rant to herself about how much she hated driving anywhere in New York City, her phone went off. All it said where the name of a bank, the location, and the three magic words, 'The Secret Six.' Laying on the horn to get everyone out of her way Danii managed to get behind a police cruiser as it flew past, and followed him to the scene. Haphazardly parking the car the blond wiggled out of her pants, tossed her bomber jacket in the backseat and quickly traded her sunglasses for a pair of goggles. Making sure her guns were loaded Danii slipped out of the car, flashed the cops that had blocked off the area her SHIELD ID to get past and ran up to the pair already there, "Started the party without me?" She quirked a smile as she tied her hair into a tight bun, turning her head slightly to catch someone jumping over the barrier, "Woah, who are you?" Her hand was immediately at her gun, not sure if the other woman was friend or foe, and ready for either unless the Captain gave her an order to do something else. [/style] |

(The other trigger happy blonde has arrived)
The life of the blonde aviatrix that was soaring through the skyline high above the streets of New York could be called many things but not dull. Never a dull moment for this old warhorse, no sir. Wherever the action is, you'll never have to look hard to find Zinda Blake in the middle of it. Especially now, with her in the midst of teammates she has only been a part of for a few months and the increased media scrutiny and attention they have been getting for the last few weeks.
For the past WEEK however, Zinda had been not where the action was but rather for the memories were. Crime had been picking up steam of late but thus far nothing so serious that one, maybe or two three Avengers collectively couldn't handle. Lady Blackhawk had promises to keep and vows to fulfill from a bygone era that felt like another lifetime ago. Each chapter of her life indeed felt like another lifetime had passed when it was concluded and she's had her share.
Back in the war however she and her Blackhawks in arms were closer than blood and a vow had been made between them all that the last Blackhawk standing would always take the time out on the 4th of July to visit the Arlington Cemetery and spread roses over the graves of all fallen comrades. Funny, Zinda Blake never in her wildest dreams expected to be the last one standing.
She'd never forget them and carried the memories of those days in her heart but it still felt like another lifetime ago, just as her days of working with Guy when she first arrived in the present, as did her time tith Oracle, Huntress, and the Canary as well as the others who were associates of the Birds of Prey, a name for the skipper's team of agents that Lady Blackhawk herself had come up with.
Now back where she started working for Uncle Sam as both an Avenger and an agent of Shield, her teammates treated her well enough whenever they breezed by in passing but in the field of battle she wasn't sure how well she fit in at this point. She was a team player to the hilt but it wasn't as if she'd lose sleep if they didn't warm up to her. Steve had become a great friend , at least in her mind. He was rugged and they each had lots of memories of the past to swap, were both old fashioned and he was pretty easy on the eyes as well. So was Clint and Zinda liked his attitude in general.
She had yet to be through any serious crisis with them though and as Aerie One skidded down the runway of New York City's international airport and headed for her private hangar, the oddest of all gut feelings told her the baptism under fire was closer than she could imagine.
Within scant seconds she had grabbed her cooler, a few weapons from he plane, had it locked down and was running from Aerie One for A set of wheels. Either her personal car, the red corvette, or her limousine which divided it's time between chauffeuring work she did on the side and in the line of duty. She opted for the 'vet and was off and rolling back to Avengers mansion. Radio and police scanner both on. Both of which worked in tandem to inform her in no uncertain terms her course had just been diverted.
An attempted bank robbery by a gang of supposedly superpowered goons calling themselves the Sinister Twelve. A quick 180, a brief stop to snag her Shield Uniform out of the trunk since her Blackhawk outfit was in the back of her limousine that sat at the airport and she was speeding off again; identification both within easy reach as Zinda Blake AKA Lady Blackhawk made it to the scene of the crime in record time and wasted little of it getting past the boys in blue then catching up with Cap & Hawkeye
"Looks like I made it back just in time. What's the plan, Captain?"

Within a matter of ten minutes or so, four of Cap's allies had shown up. Two of them quite unknown, since he didn't know much much about Amethyst or Zinda, although he knew Clint and Danii really well. He was glad to realize that all four were here to lend a hand in fighting the members of Sinister Twelve that was causing mayhem for the hell of it.
They entered inside the bank one by one, which caught the attention of Electro, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture, and Kraven the Hunter. "Everyone, let's stick together, let's fight together, and make sure to look out for each other,"
[/i] Cap informed the group. "I'll fight Sandman, Clint you fight Electro, Danii you fight Vulture, Zinga you fight Mysterio, and Amethyst you fight Kraven the Hunter,"[/i] Cap directed his group. "We'll fight them together, as one, so let's get this underway shall we?" He addressed them, but they were interrupted by the Sinister Twelve members. Cap immediately slung his shield toward them, then jumped into action against Sandman. Cap caught his shield, as it came soaring back. Sandman went to punch Cap using a big sandy right fist, but Cap held his shield up with force. The shield protected Cap, as the fist from Sandman hit the the shield with no affect whatsoever. Hopefully, the others were fighting alongside him by now, because Cap was determined to save these innocent civilians. [/div] [/style][/center]

Amethyst noticed she wasn’t the only one close enough to bring some aid for Captain America but she was mostly having her attention turned to observing the villains there. They all seemed to be part of the group known as the Sinister Twelve, even among her fellow X-men she had heard some things here and there but never imagined she’d be facing them. It did make her a little uneasy deep down however, considering this was her first real battle with major villains and teaming up with others that weren’t actually her teammates. It was a strange feeling but at the same time it was for a good cause.
Though attention suddenly turned to Danii when hearing her speak, seeing the woman’s hand immediately on her gun which made Amethyst tense slightly.”Whoa hold on, I’m on your side alright. Just came here to help like you did.”She said raising her hands slightly to show she meant no hostility towards any of the heroes that arrived,”Think this is a bit of moot point right now anyway.”She added while turning back to facing the Sinister Twelve who had gotten the attention they wanted and while Captain directed them Amethyst quickly looked over her opponent, already seeing Kraven was far stronger. Yet in her mind’s eye she had advantage of agility and acrobatics to quickly out maneuver the man, so she thought.
The sudden speed Kraven used surprised Amethyst enough she had no time to react to the punch that followed, sending her a short distance away when it collided with her side. But Amethyst managed to recover enough to flip and land on her feet, wincing slightly from the slight pain but quickly shook it off while Kraven made another move to use his speed. This time however the young woman was ready as she waited till the last minute when Kraven was just within reach and suddenly brought her leg up in a snap kick which only managed to prove to stop Kraven by surprise but seemed to do little damage.

}--Hawkeye-->Others arrived, luckily, and Clint nodded to each. Danii, Zinda, and a girl that Cap addressed as Amethyst. Clint thought that he had seen that name connected with the XMen before, but he wasn't totally sure. He was almost relieved when Steve finally gave orders. "You got it, Cap." Clint skirted the inside edge of the door as he slipped in the bank. Eyes darting around quickly, it was easy to figure out which one was Electro. The cheesy costume gave him away pretty much. Clint had heard about this guy. Spider-man had been the first one to take him down, and he had electrical powers. So if Clint kept off the ground, he would be fine. After all, without a grounding, it was useless. As quick as humanly possible, Clint had a grappling hook arrow in the ceiling, and as the other end came down he pulled a wood block, about ten inches wide and long, and five inches thick, out of a pocket in his quiver. Tying it to the loose end of the rope from the arrow, he stepped onto it and, pushing off, swung toward Electro, who was at the counter with the money. Who gave him that job? Clint found himself wondering. It was probably of no consequence, but wouldn't all the villains want to get their greedy paws on the dough? It seemed like a no-brainer. His pistol came out of its holster, and Hawkeye was officially in business. The lady behind the counter's eyes grew wide, and she ducked. Electro, who had suspected nothing before, The green-suited villain turned around just in time to see Clint come airborne toward him. In vain he shot a bolt of electricity Hawkeye's way but without the grounding it did no good. Clint decided just to put the gun away for now and punch. A hard right to Electro's face missed; then Hawkeye felt a shattering blow to his chest land. Clinging to the rope with all that he had, he forced himself to breathe and concentrate as the pendulum action carried him toward the green-costumed villain once again.

She was always careful when someone she didn't know and had never seen before showed up to a fight, instinct had her on high alert in case any new and unneeded threat decided to show up. Danii made sure to keep an eye on the woman up until the moment that the Captain gave his orders, well if he was going to trust her then alright with her. The blonde wasn't going to argue with the man, trusting his judgement were anything was concerned when it came to a battle.
"Whatever ya say Captain," Giving the man a quick salute, she slipped on the brass knuckles and turned to face the old man, she almost had reservations about hitting a guy that old, but then he basically dive bombed her. Quickly un-holstering the forty five Danii cocked the hammer back and fired off a pair of rounds even as she pivoted, turning on her heel and sliding across a tellers cherry wood desk, papers scattering around her as she tried to put some distance between herself and the proverbial corpse with wings.
Seriously shouldn't the old man have been in a nursing home somewhere? Danii flipped the table on it's side, using it as a shield to protect herself from the damn wing projectiles, eyes widening behind the goggles as the feathers embedded themselves a good four inches through the wood. Popping back up from behind the desk she took aim and fired again, unsure if she managed to land a hit because immediately she was made to dodge another barrage of feathers, feeling the telltale sting as a few tugged at her suit in just the right angle to slice through it, drawing blood and causing her to hiss.
And that was all the time she had to survey the damage, as she was sent running again, this time in a wide arc around the wall of the bank. Leap frogging over the momentarily dazed Kraven she skidded past Amethyst with a shout, "Don't wait, hit'em again!" and kept running when she heard more feathers whistle past, firing off a few bullets in response. Ducking behind a column to catch her breath Danii turned to catch Zinda tangoing with Mysterio, she was from the different universe though and had probably not faced the man until now, "He uses hallucinogenic gas, try not to breath it in alright, cause it's one hell of a trip!" She tossed out the fair warning even as she pushed herself off the wall and went after the Vulture again. [/style] |

5 assembled heroes in all counting herself. 2 were teammates from the Avengers, 1 an ally in Shield and the last Zinda had never laid eyes on. Based upon looks being exchanged and comments being bantered however, she assumed the other woman was one of the good guys. If not bullets were one size fits all.
As for the uglies, Zinda would not be worth her salt as an Avenger or a Shield agent in the short time universes had merged if she hadn't at least heard the names of the villains Cap had assigned them to battle individually. This was a first time an encounter and hopefully the last but she had done some homework and knew at least they were dangerous. To what extent though?
Though she might have looked unprepared on the surface, she had weapons strapped to her side beneath the uniform, secluded but she never would be caught without ammo. There were too many civilians in close range to risk opening fire on the villains like Mysterio. Her aim was always on target under normal circumstances but the unpredictable of unknown opponents left too much to chance.
As soon as Cap gave the gr5eenlight Lady Blackhawk was in full swing, literally. cracking wise about Mysterio's face and the need to cover it with the dome looking thingamajig he wore, questions of whether the doc slapped the wrong end when he came out of the womb however. Going into a handspring and a series of backflips that had come with skilled training and years of experience she managed to catch him by surprise, legs wrapping around his torso and flipping him over. Between the taunting remarks she was relentless in ever punch she swung and kick she leapt with, some of them feints and a few missing but most of them hitting home, hoping to keep him off balance and wea him out before she wore down.
Lady L's tip was beneficial and that's when the taunting stopped. Sucking in one last mouthful of air, she held her breath tightly and started circling, moving in closer and preparing for closer, more direct punches.

Cap loved every second of fighting for the greater good. He's done it for so long, for over seventy years, and here he was in modern time fighting for the lives of all these innocent people. There were men, women, and children present here in the bank who were being held hostage. They were all terrified to say the least, but Cap and his allies were putting up a good fight. Cap hit Sandman with his shield, slicing right threw the sand, but Sandman just kept reforming and coming back. Cap even tried punching Sandman with a few lefts and rights, but his fist just hit more sand.
Sandman began to create a viscous sandstorm, causing sand to cover up the battle momentarily. Cap had so much sand hitting his face and eyes that he couldn't see all that well. Within what seemed like a second or two, Sandman reformed, then punched Cap in the chest with a huge right fist formed out of sand, which sent him crashing threw a wooden desk in the distance.
Cap's patriotism caused him to slowly get right back up to his feet. He momentarily began thinking of a way to stop the sand. Just then, Cap realized that he needed water, because it was the only way to slow Sandman down. Water would definitely do the trick in softening his sand granules, but where was he going to find water at a time like this?
Cap looked up seeing fire sprinklers on the ceiling, which was there for emergencies regarding fires, but in this case it was going to be used to slow Sandman down. "Time to get wet everyone!" Cap hollered out to his allies, before he slung his shield directly at the fire sprinklers on the ceiling. The shield struck them successfully, causing them to break, as water started spraying down on everyone. Cap ran and launched himself toward Sandman, who was becoming affected by the water. He caught his shield in mid-air, then struck Sandman with it affectingly. The strike caused Sandman to fall back on the ground oozing with muddy sand.

Though Amethyst heard Danii's call Kraven was already beginning to recover from the surprise, his eyes narrowing at the X-man which made her gulp slightly. She knew Kraven could easily put her down with his combined physical enhancements versus her natural ones as he once more went in to throw more punches, though even then Amethyst was able to dodge most except for a few left and right hooks.
While ducking a kick at the same time Kraven was drawing one of his various weapons kept with him, in this case his spear. It was then that the water came down when the Captain's shield made it's mark, causing both to glance up. Seeing the distraction faster then Amethyst did Kraven smirked and used a roundhouse kick that sent Amethyst slamming on her back on a desk and tumbling on the other side, disorienting her for few moments enough for her opponent to move the heavy wooden desk with ease, causing it to slide across the room some feet away. For the moment Amethyst was still focusing enough to retaliate, hearing the hunter mock her lack of fighting skills and how easy it had been to take her down. With the gloating then done he raised his spear and began to thrust it down only for something to stop him in his tracks.
"Gloat about this!"Amethyst growled, bringing her hands up as they began to glow with a silvery white energy before she fired her lunar bolts that sent Kraven back enough to allow her up. Wrapping her prehensile tail around the spear's shaft she easily drew it back while Kraven was blinded by one of the bolts to the face, one having hit him in the gut and the other meant to merely blind him. This time she made use of this and began to send the lunar bolts again in quick succession, using much less of this energy she absorbed from the moon itself that allowed for short quick bursts.
