Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Jason sat on the upper level of the warehouse where he had a good look over the entrances to the warehouse. He had been watch Freeze and knew this was hideout and that he returned here after searching for his wife. Jason figured Freeze must've known something about the Joker. That he would've possibly found a lead to where his wife was and maybe it had been the joker who took her. He was desperate and willing to even go to a criminal for help. Then again, Jason didn't necessarily view Mr. Freeze as a criminal. He was but a man trying to save the woman he loved. To Jason that was a noble act.
He had been at the ware house all night, but Jason had learned patience. He wasn't the extremely reckless, impatient child he had been before his death at the hands of the Joker. No. Jason wore his metallic red hood over his head to concile his identity. He wore his brown leather jacket over a black t-shirt over a bullet proof vest. He had many of his weapons or toys as he often referred to them as, on him. But he had none of them out. He was there on peaceful terms. Not to start some war against Mr. Freeze. They both had enough to worry about at the moment, the last thing either needed was another enemy or problem. Gotham gave both men enough problems as it was. The day break shown through the dusted window on the other side of him. He wasn't visible through it but he knew that the sun had risen and that meant Mr. Freeze would hopefully be back soon. And with him Jason hoped for news of the Joker. Anything from the past five years. Anything would be helpful and Jason knew until recently Mr, Freeze had been in Arkham. And when you're in Arkham you usually hear things whether you want to or not.

Several times already Victor Fries had scoured the waterfront for any traces of the criminal group that had kidnapped Nora. And still he had nothing to show for it. Not a single thing. All he knew was that Crane had nothing to do with it, and neither had the Joker. Penguin didn't seem to have any involvement either. It was frustrating. What was more frustrating was the fact that he had to do his moving at night lest he be swept off to Arkham and have to take that much longer searching.
She was out there somewhere, oblivious to her situation. Why had he not attached a tracking device to the stasis tube? Well, that would not be a problem for much longer. He had already engineered one in his time waiting for night. Tracking the device down without the tracking device, however... that was another matter.
What he hadn't been expecting when he opened the door of the warehouse he was using as a base of operations was the red masked 'hero' standing in front of him. The instant he saw any kind of figure in the gap he had drawn his freeze gun, glaring beneath his goggles and behind the fogged glass that showed only the red glow they gave off. He on the other had could see clearly, mostly thanks to the goggles having a special kind of technology adapted from a variety of military examples. They came in handy quite often.
"Motion for any of your weapons and you will spend the next three days encased in a block of ice." Freeze growled in a low, ominous monotone. His surprise had turned quickly to anger, and his monotone combined with the robotic distortion in the suit's speakers made him sound just that much more threatening, even if he hadn't meant what he said... but Mr. Freeze never made idle threats. "Why are you here, Red Hood?" Freeze demanded, wary. He was not returning to Arkham without Nora.

Jason watched from his spot as he heard Freeze coming. The suit wasn't the stealthiest of things in the world. It wasn't more than a few secodns, however, before Jason spotted Mr. Freeze entering the warehouse. Jason figured he didn't find much out that night. He felt bad for the man. No one should be forced into villainous acts because of others kidnapping their frozen wife. Their should be a law that would stop the persecution of that. Though jason figured Victor was most likely the only man on earth with that specific problem. But who knew with the world's collided into one.
"Relax Freeze," Jason said approaching the man but stopping a about ten feet away, "I'm not here to bring you back to Arkham. Phht, I don't bring anyone back though do I. You don't have anything to worry about me," he continued as he leaned against a sturdy wooden support beam before crossing his arm and reaching into his pocket to pull out a picture of the man he hated most in this world, "I'm looking for the deranged clown," he said tossing it at Freeze, "I was hoping maybe you knew where he might be or anything about him over the past five years. Ever detail helps me end this madman's reign."
He looked over Freeze for a moment. He couldn't see through the fog of his glass. With the exception of the glowing goggles. His eyes moved to his gun. "Ya know most people who don't want others to take out their weapons usually don't point their's at them," he said. It was not a threatening sentence. In fact there didn't even seem to have meaning behind the words. The words were distant and slightly dark, but not threatening. "How's the search for Nora going," Jason asked? The words were distant but his voice showed that he did care about the situation. Jason cared about the good people in the world who are in need and he certainly cared about Nora being okay, for Victor's sake that is. He knew Victor wasn't a bad man.

Freeze said nothing, nor did he move until several minutes after Hood had finished speaking. The goggles flashed up negative on the weapons scans, and it was only then that he lowered his weapon and stalked past Hood to the makeshift desk. Though, desk was being generous. It was more a large empty shipping crate turned on its side with a variety of small devices on it. Victor indicated a PDA and moved it to a corner, turning to face him again, keeping a hand near his gun. If Hood was going to attack him, he would have already, but there was no need to be complacent.
"The location to several of his 'hideouts' is on that PDA, along with what other data I have on him. I'm certain you already know most of what I do, and likely more." Victor said plainly, ignoring his comment about the search for Nora. It was almost as if he was playing dumb to make conversation. If he knew where Nora was, he wouldn't be squatting in a warehouse speaking to him. He would be getting her back. Victor couldn't tell if Hood's concern was genuine or merely being used as a tactic to get information, but he didn't particularly care either.
After a while more of silence, he sighed and spoke again. "Whoever took Nora does not seem to wish to use her as a tool. If it were the usual suspects, I would have been contacted by now." Victor said, a light bit of sadness mixing with his monotone as the glass split and withdrew. It was cool enough that he could stand to speak for a few minutes without being enclosed. "We both know this conversation would not be taking place otherwise."
It then occurred to him that there was something he hadn't added to his files about Joker. He cleared his throat, adjusting a knob on his armor. "I see. You want to know what I'm aware of about the breakout at Arkham. Correct?"

Jason watched from beneath the metallic hood as Mr. Freeze walked over to a large shipping crate that was turned on it's side. Jason assumed it was a makeshift desk of sorts due to the variety of devices that were laid upon it. Jason wasn't goign to say anythign about it being a crate. He knew very well what you had to do to survive. It felt like yesterday he was a boy on the street stealing the wheels off of cars to try and pay for his mothers sickness. As Mr. Freeze moved the PDA to the corner of the makeshift desk, Jason moved closer as he listened to him talk.
"Thank you," Jason said picking up the device, "I feel you might be mistaken about how much info I have on the Joker though. I do have a lot, but I've only jsut returned to Gotham. I haven't been here since I was fifteen." It was the truth. He could still remember the pain surging through his body as the Joker beat him with a crow bar. It went on for what seemed like an eternity. Then he blew Jason up. He was reborn in the Lazarus Pit, but after that spent his time traversing the world learning all sort of things. Deadly things. Now he was back and he was going to make himself every criminals worst nightmare.
"Ah yes," Jason said lower the PDA but keeping it in his hand. He was going to say his theory on Nora. He had plenty of time to think while he was waiting for Victor to arrive. He couldn't pin any names or anything, but he did have his theories. And he was a detective with skills that rivaled that of even his old mentors. He would speak his ideas after though.
