As Sky sat there, she pushed her coffee mug away. That was enough for the afternoon. Suddenly she was cursing herself in her head. Along with the rage that had been simmering in the air the feeling of suspicion came in. Great. He was probably wondering why she could just fit him in. She could fit him in at any time because if people got pissed at her she could calm them down and persuade them to reschedule and make them happy about it. Well, Skylar wasn’t about to try and explain that to him. Hell, she wasn’t going to explain that to anyone. Not even Tim had gotten to know about what she was and what she could do.
Keeping calm on the outside Sky nodded at him. ”Two days.” Sky repeated. She became curious to what he would be up to for two days. Tonight was going to be a long one. Out doing what she usually did. And then home looking up as much as she could on him. The niggling feeling was still there but right now she pushed it to the back of her mind the best she could. It was slowly making her feel uncomfortable though and Skylar wondered whether it would be best to take her leave and start digging now.

Normal people would feel something in the slight awkward silent that persisted her response. But Jason didn't. Not then at least. His mind was being swarmed with debates over where to check for the Joker first. He had gotten information on him and several locations he could be. It was critical that he find and end that mad man's reign before he blew up another school bus on a whim or blows his buddies out of Arkham or any number of thigns his twisted, sick, warped mind could think of.
"I'll see you in two days then," Jason said standing up with his now empty cup. Seeing as they were both done with their coffee, Jason figured it was time to go. He did like having company though. It felt good to be Jason Todd for once and not Red Hood. To hold a normal conversation instead of an interrogation or comments and insults thrown back and forth during a fight. Jason tossed his cup in the garbage and as he approached the door began to push it open. "It was nice meeting you Skylar," Jason said before exiting the Starbucks and continuing down the street. He had a lot of work to do and he needed to get some sleep in as well. That was something that would have to wait until after he clocked a few low lifes and killed a few murderers and rapists though.
