"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Down to her shoulder blades, slightly wavy with a curl towards the ends and a bright blonde.
Eyes: Large blue eyes with flecks of green
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 120 lbs
Distinguishing Marks:
A few old scars littering her skin
Appearance:
Sharon isn't particularly tall, only standing at five foot seven on a good day, but she is in peak physical shape, always training when she has the chance to keep her herself in the best shape she can be in. Because she doesn't have much in the way of powers or abilities, she always has to make sure she's as strong and as fast as she can be, and it shows in the lean muscle, trimmed stomach, arms and legs she possesses.
She's a beautiful woman though, with golden blonde hair down to the bottom of her shoulder blades, wavy with a slight curl to it at the ends. Sharon usually leaves it down unless there's a special occasion, in which she'll curl her hair or attempt to do something different with it. Her eyes are a lovely shade of blue with a few flecks of green, though they're usually narrowed in concentration on whatever she's looking at. Smooth pale skin, littered here and there with scars from past missions that tell a story of a woman who has worked hard to get where she is now.
The woman used to always wear the old black Kevlar catsuit standard to all SHIELD agents, but she also has a white suit that she has found to be favoring more often as of late. When not in her work attire, comfortable form fitting jeans and blouses or fitted plaid button ups tend to make up the most of her wardrobe, anything comfortable that she can get dirty in if she has to.

Personality:
Sharon is essentially tough as nails. She won't let anyone or anything stand in her way once she puts her mind to something, even if it means having to run someone's grandmother over to get to her goal. Figuratively of course. Growing up in the ideal suburban lifestyle was lovely, but it also meant that going into her chosen profession, no one was going to take her seriously, made even harder by being a woman in what was generally considered a man's profession. Because of that the woman developed an amazingly tough exterior, the blonde knew going into this that it wouldn't be easy and it definitely wasn't.
The woman hates to be taken lightly, and will go out of her way to prove a point or just show someone that doubted her up, which can get her into the occasional trouble. In the same vein though, it's also one of the things that drives her, and if there's one thing that can be said about Sharon, it's that the woman is driven. The blonde refuses to let anything stand in her way, as headstrong and tough as they could possibly come, she will not let anything stop her from reaching whatever goal is set before her. Failure is not an option in her mind, never was and never will be.
Growing up she was idealistic and in love with the charm and heroism that her aunt would tell her stories about during World War II, but the reality of the job washed that away and now she covers herself up with a tough, blunt exterior, afraid to have her ideals shattered again. Sharon doesn't want to find herself in some naive idea about anything anymore, having become cynical and just a tad jaded by the things SHIELD requires her to do. Deep down there's a part of her that still believes in those romantic ideas her Aunt Peggy used to feel her with, but afraid of continued disappointment Sharon tries to act like she doesn't believe anymore.
Deep down though, she can be rather sweet. It takes a lot to get past her shell, but she's a loyal, caring friend on the inside, one that will always have your back, if you prove to have enough patience with her. Occasionally she can be a hard pill to swallow, friend or not, but where friends are concerned, she really does mean well, and just doesn't want someone looking ridiculous cause they matched the wrong shoes with the wrong top. Yes, she can be that type of girl. Sharon will never lead people she cares about wrong though, so don't worry, go ahead and lean against her, she won't mind.

History:
Sharon had a good life growing up. Really. There was no rough childhood, no trouble that she had to overcome to grow as a stronger person. The blonde grew up in Virgina, a lovely little house with a big yard and a white picket fence, a pair of loving parents, essentially the all American dream. Her mom baked, dad helped her with her homework and took her horse back riding when it was warm out and she had the run of the house most of the time, able and encouraged to let her imagination run wild, and though it caused some shenanigans, her parents were always very understanding.
Her favorite childhood memories though were when she would visit her Aunt Peggy, usually spending a few weeks at her house in the summer and a day or so of any given school vacation at her house. Usually because of some serious begging and promises to make sure all her homework was done early beforehand. Aunt Peggy was pretty old, and she didn't move as fast as she used to, but the woman had these old stories from the war that used to fill Sharon with a certain sense of wonder and Sharon would beg and beg to hear those stories over and over again, until she could recite them along with her Aunt word for word.
When she was ten, she had been helping her aunt clean out the attic when they came across an old box of dusty movie reels and Sharon spent the rest of the week glued to the projector screen watching propaganda reels of the war, her favorites though were the ones with Captain America in them. The little girl couldn't believe that was the same man that her great aunt had such a fantastic Casablanca style romance with, but at the same time, she could totally see it. As she grew older the girl's interest had a tendency to flitter from this and that, she would pick up a sport and then immediately loose interest, finding that it never seemed to be the right fit.
In fact she was like that with a lot of things, including relationships with boyfriends. While her best friends were constant, boyfriends never seemed to work for her. Eventually a friend pointed out that she was constantly comparing them to the man her Aunt Peggy had always told her such fantastic stories about, and the boys really couldn't compete with the idea Sharon had in her head of Captain America. Eventually she found her way to martial arts, her aunts suggestion to her parents desperate need that she have some sort of extra curriculars to burn up her energy, something to channel all that deep focus on.
By the time she was fifteen though, the girl had already decided what she wanted to do with her life, it was pretty subconscious actually. Not so much a decision as a realization that she had known all along thanks to those romantic stories her aunt would tell her. As soon as Sharon was sure, she went after the dream of becoming a SHIELD agent full force, climbing the ladder as soon as she was out of high school and letting nothing stand in her way, her aunt always acting like a shoulder for her to lean on and inspiration when things would start getting to be too much.
Sharon refused to back away from her dream, it didn't matter how hard she fell, or what went went wrong, the blonde would not be deterred. The day she was made an official agent of SHIELD was the happiest of her life, the fulfillment of a dream she had carried longer then she had even realized, but it was a case of all that glitters. Some of the stories that Aunt Peggy had told her were out dated in comparison, and most were the happy, glamorous memories, the old woman had left out the darker parts, and Sharon found the idealism tarnished, so she buried it away in hopes that it wouldn't be ruined completely. The blonde would be lying if she said she didn't love her job, and she would readily give her life to protect her fellow agents and the agency she works for, but she feels a little lead astray. No matter, a part still hopes she will find herself back on track, until then she'll keep going the way she always has.
