Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Lor had yet to find anywhere to stay, but that was of no importance to him, he could sunbathe in the park forever and never give a care about where he would sleep. He laid there under the sun basking, allowing himself to soak up the energies that this planet's sun provided. He still found it weird that he heard so much going on around him, and on this peaceful Saturday afternoon he heard nothing but pleasantries all around him. People around him walked their dogs, played with their children, and were having picnics, he had never been in a more comfortable spot. He did not have many belongings, but the ones he did have were kept in a sack that he had beside him while lying there, that he would simply cast over his shoulder when he was ready to leave.
However, something still vexed him, how come he had not met Metropolis' famous Man of Steel yet? He was positive something should have happened by now that would cause his appearance. Maybe the peace of the day kept him away, but there was no need to disturb that peace just to meet him, they would meet when the time came. Lor rose from his position and lifted his bag over his shoulder and exited the park to begin walking down the sidewalk, the heartbeats on this planet were all far from harmonious, but they still had their own melody and rhythm. Then he heard a scream, which caused him to jerk his head in the direction of a child running out into traffic as she chased a balloon and her mother screaming in terror as she was being restrained by her husband not to follow her.
Lor immediately dropped his bag and in a flash (no pun intended) Lor was grabbing the little girl up and allowing the traffic to pass with her unharmed. ''Hey, little one, you should not run in the street, it is dangerous'', he said as he set her down on the other side of the street.
She began to sob as she pointed up at her balloon that was getting higher and higher. ''But my balloon!'', she exclaimed.
He looked up and saw the object of her interest, and turned back to her. ''I'll go get it for you, stay here'', he said smiling as the girl's tears ceased and a soft smile replaced it. Lor flew up into the sky attracting shocked stares from both the child, her parents, and others who were witnessing what almost happened before he stepped in. He grabbed the balloon and came back down to earth before handing it to her and watching the extremely pleased look on the child's face. He then scooped her into his arms and returned her to the other side of the street where her parents were waiting, and immediately grabbed and hugged her before thanking him.
''Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!'', her mother said repeatedly as she cried for happiness at her daughter's safe return.
''Not a problem ma'am, I am glad I got there in time'', he said smiling. ''Now little one, don't run out into the street like that again, okay?'', he said kneeling down and looking at her with a smile. She nodded with a smile and he stood up and received a hug from her father unexpectedly.
''I can not express how thankful we are for you'', he said as he released Lor from the hug and watched as he walked over to his belongings and grabbed them off the ground as people began to cheer and applaud him on the sidewalks. This brought a feeling of warmth to him, perhaps this is why he had his powers, to protect.

Kara made her way to the park; the blonde landed on her feet and began to walk down the sidewalk. Many people stared at her in awe. “Supergirl come quickly theirs a boy saving a balloon” the voice was that of the little girl she kept meeting at strange times. The first time Kara met this girl was at the mall with Sinestro she was being bullied, but now here she was again leading Kara to the boy of saving balloons.
He was getting hugged; Kara made her way to the boy and put a hand on his shoulder. “Thank you for saving this small child but May I ask you to come with me?” Kara smiled at the family as they walked away happily. “My name is Supergirl, I’m very glad that you were around when I was not. Im sure you were expecting my cousin Superman instead of me but he’s out on business.” Kara wasn’t sure what he was here to do, was he a good person or a bad person. Kara was going to keep an eye on him until she figured out who he was. “shall we go somewhere a little more private? Maybe up there on that building” Kara pointed to a high building that she could watch the city from. The girl took his hand and flew to the top of the building, and staired at the strange boy. . Post by Cole "Grifter" Cash on Mar 16, 2013 17:48:53 GMT -5
Unbeknownst to the two supers, Cole Cash, Grifter, but not exactly in that guise today, was sitting on the doorstep of a nearby building, updating his creeper status on Publicbook. Ah, the act of people watching. Bry's characters all seemed to like to do it, but that was another matter in itself. Nice days like this always called for a nice walk, and that's how this little outing had started out for Cole. The sun was shining brightly outside, and the little, three-room apartment where he was staying at the moment was pitch dark. Time to get some Vitamin D, baby!
He had chosen a nice warm spot by a bank to lounge, smoke, and watch the women with strollers, men with tweed suits, and kids with ice cream cones in their hands walk by. Once, one with a red balloon wandered past with her mother and father. They got no more than ten feet past Cole when she accidentally let it go, and Cole hopped up as quickly as he could as she went out into the street. He went to make a move forward, but before he could, someone else streaked (superhumanly fast, Cole noted) out and swept her away from the oncoming traffic. He was relieved that the little girl wasn't hurt, but the balloon, now just a little red dot in the sky, was lost. Cole leaned against the brick building, observing the man who had saved her, and just caught the little girl pointing to the balloon. Then, no slower than he could tell the girl to wait, The man lifted off into the sky. Cole had seen heroes fly, but never this unexpectedly. It took him by total surprise. Then, quicker than he could blink, the man was back down with the balloon. The (definitely, superhero) guy took the girl back across to her mother. All watching were relieved, and some started to clap. Cole joined in. It really had been an act of heroism, one that Cole could not have pulled off even considering his superhuman reflexes, telepathic powers, and etcetera. He would have used them to save the girl, would he have needed to. He was grateful to the other hero for stepping in.
Then, another woman caught the man as he was about to leave the scene. Cole could not hear what she said, but wasn't surprised when she propelled herself to the top of the nearby building and waited expectantly there. Cole knew he probably shouldn't poke around, but he was curious. As quietly as he could, he snuck around to the small alleyway next to the bank. The building beside had a fire escape that reached almost all the way to the top. It only took about thirty seconds to climb the rusty cast iron staircase (Spiderman style, not using the steps), and emerge onto the last level before the roof. There he perched, listening and waiting expectantly for any conversation he could overhear.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,426,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/greenmiddle.png] Sinestro had been flying above the city when he had noticed a small girl eager to get herself run over by some heavy traffic in the area. Though he was usually not concerned with the minor affairs of humans, more focused on larger feats of heroism and might, he was not above helping even the youngest if they were in need. It was not a lantern’s job to pick a choose what missions were worthy of him, even if some humans did deserve to be knocked down if their parents were not smart enough to keep an eye on them. Then again, it was likely more the parents that needed to be punished than the child. Since deciding to keep an eye on Kara, it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to dislike children and teenagers- being around her only reminded him how much he had wanted to raise Soranik with his wife. Too bad it hadn’t worked out as he had planned. But it didn’t matter. There were more important things to deal with.
Like continuing to do nothing but watch as someone else whooshed in and saved the child with ease. Sinestro tilted his head, a little surprised. At first, he had thought it was Superboy, but it seemed that was not the case, as the flying was not something that kid had managed to pull off on his own yet. But it was decidedly too male to be Kara, and much too young to be Clark. So who was he looking at? Yet another super hero he knew nothing about?
This planet… how could it always be in such turmoil when there were so many good guys faffing about all over the place?
Perplexed, Sinestro continued to watch as the hero went out of his way to retrieve a balloon the child had let go of- likely the culprit behind the whole incident. It was rather innocent of him to get the balloon, and entirely something that moral-driven dunderhead Clark would have done. So who was this guy? The readings his ring was giving off indicated that it was another Kryptonian. For a race that was supposed to have all died off with the destruction of its planet, there seemed to be a hell of a lot of them around.
Two right there on the street, as soon enough Kara had shown up. Summoned by him, or just there by some lucky happenstance? Either way, she seemed interested in speaking to him, too, as she directed him some place else and quickly left the scene again. She positioned herself on top of a building not too far away, and Sinestro decided to it was the best place to make an entrance of his own. He was curious too, and if Kara was there then he had a sneaky little reason to hang around. How useful.
So he flew his way over, landing himself on the building beside his pseudo-daughter. With a smile, he offered her a slight wave, before turning his sharp yellow eyes back on the strange boy below them. Hopefully he would head up soon and they could all figure out just what was going on. If there was another kryptonian hanging around, he had to make sure he wasn’t going to suddenly start murdering everyone in sight. Even if he had helped a child, he’d seen nicer beings show off dark ulterior motives. Trust was not something that came easily to the Korugaran, and he would remain skeptic as long as need be.
“Kara, who is that boy?” He asked, watching the young teenager with an arched eyebrow, “my ring indicates he is not human.” He decided to leave it there for the time being, lest he get the girl excited needlessly.

Lor heard her coming and was even more surprised when she pulled him up to the top of the building. He was excited when he heard her speak of Superman, as that was the main person he was there to see, but she mentioned him being her cousin, which possibly meant she could tell him just what he was all the same. ''Um, His Supergirl, I'm....'', he stopped for a second, t hit him, he had no idea what his name was. The monks could not read the language on his ship, so they just took to calling him ''young one'', which had always stuck with him as he called others that as well. He thought for a second. ''I do not really have a name'', he said as the green fellow came to rest beside her.
He thought nothing of him, but honestly he felt that they could have done more to help that child, and now they were coming out of nowhere. ''If I am not human, which I had already figured, then can you tell me just what I am?'', he asked as he hard the other fellow climbing up the fire escape. He did not spare a glance as he figured the three of them could easily handle any issues that they encountered. He looked down at Sinestro's ring and wondered just what other powers it had. In a flash he was closer to Sinestro not touching him but instead looking t his ring a bit closer. It was like nothing he had seen on this planet, the energy it emitted was green, a rather hypnotizing color. ''What does your ring do sir?'', he asked looking back up at him with a puzzled look on his face.
Just as Lor thought, he was not of this earth, instead he was probably sent from somewhere else when he was very young. After all his abilities were not something that a regular person could do. And Sinestro was not of this planet either, that was made apparent by his pink skin and yellow piercing eyes, this day was just getting weirder and weirder.

She knew what he was; she could feel it in her bones. He was family, and then her father figure floated up. “Hiya daddy, this is um well I’m not sure what his name is yet but he is kryptonian like me. “ Kara looked over at the man who was watching them. She lightly made her way over to him offering him a hand up. “Hello I’m Supergirl,” once Kara brought the strange man over to the rest of the group. Kara looked at the boy. She began to speak in kryptonian –My name is Kara In-Ze from the planet krypton. The same place you are from, do you come in peace?- the young girl loved talking in her native tongue it made her feel free and happy, if everyone could speak kryptonian she would understand things better but the human language sounded weird.
Sadly the kryptonian boy just looked at her like he had no idea what she had said. Kara smiled and watched as he went and was amused by Sinestro. “The boy doesn’t seem to speak kryptonian; he must have been just a baby when he was sent to earth.” Kara let out a sigh. She was surly hoping that she would have someone to talk to about krypton. But she was just glad he was here. “Boy? Do you know anything about yourself?” Kara looked at Sinestro she hoped that maybe he had some answers about the young boy.
