Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

New York city was his new home. He had moved there with his family after some trouble in Dakota had invited the opportunity for some new scenery. Though it had been hard to leave his friends, he knew it was probably better to get away from them and keep them safe from a distance. The new move allowed him to spread his wings as a hero. Not feel so confined to one place. Thankfully, he hadn’t left the cops back home to deal with all the bang babies. Most of them had been turned back to normal, and the ones that hadn’t were going to find that being one Static down didn’t mean they were safe. He still had his buddies there to take care of things, and they were more than capable to look after themselves.
Being in a new place gave him more opportunity to research his own abilities, too. New York had resources he could only dream about anywhere else, and with his body growing, his powers seemed to be as well.
Recently, he had noticed an increase in his strength, and it seemed to extend beyond his ability to control electricity. His ability to resist mind control was getting more potent, as well, as well as his accelerated healing abilities. He was no Wolverine, for sure, but he imagined he was alright as far as recovering from wounds went. It was actually both exciting and scary to see his powers developing. He had seen what mutations some of the other kids had gone through after their exposure to the gas, and he was always afraid the same kind of thing might eventually happen to him. So far, however, he hadn’t noticed any scales, fur, or feathers poking out of places they shouldn’t be.
He flew over the city streets. The house was late, and though it seemed the place was growing quiet, he knew it was actually the best time to find something fun to do. The bad guys crept out of the woodwork at night.
It didn’t take long for him to see four or five men hovering suspiciously near a locked up electronics shop. Clearly, one man was attempting to get the large gate over the front entrance open so they could head on in and rob the place blind. The others were keeping guard, not wanting any cop to find them. Probably a very smart idea, but they weren’t considering all their angles- they didn’t seem to notice him hovering several feet above them in the air.
That was probably not going to work out well for them.
“Hey idiots, don’t you know you’re supposed to come back during regular business hours?” the young hero shouted, offering them a grin as they collectively looked up at him in utter shock. Of course, he hadn’t been expected petty thefts to be armed, and he was promptly thrown right out of the air trying to avoid an acute barrage of bullets. He slammed into a neighboring dumpster, groaning as he climbed his way out of it.
“Smooth, Static,” he muttered to himself.

Jordan was out for the night. Walking the city of New York. Being Jordan was on the cops list for breaking out of the asylum and killing her family, she mostly stayed in the alleys. she was looking for a fight, not just any fight but a good fight one that had a challenge. She had been in town for a week and was kept up in the house board. She pulled at her lose pig tails as a body blew past her and on to a trash can. She walked up to the figure. He had mumbled something but she couldn’t very well make it out. “Well look what we have here?” Jordan was confused about the boy who hit the trash can so she looked back to where he came from and their it was, a group of boys, maybe her prayers were answered. Sure it was the right thing to do help out the boy who was in the trash but she didn’t really care, it was a fight, and fight she wanted.
“Looks like you got yourself a party here hero? Mind if I step in and help?” the word help burned in her mouth, it felt nasty and dirty. “That is if you want help from a girl?” she looked back at the men and thought about the great fun she was going to have kicking their behinds. The excitement almost made her smile but she didn’t, Jordan never smiled she had no reason to. “well what will it be?”

Picking pieces of trash from his outfit, Static turned his eyes on the girl who had managed to make her way over to him through the robbers. Blinking, he was more than a little surprised by her sudden appearance. “Eh? What are you…” No wait, he was in hero mode- he wasn’t supposed to look surprised and uncool when he was in hero mode. So he smiled at her, taking a moment to summon his hover board and bring it back to life with a surge of electricity. Leaping on top of it, he looked down at her, then at the thugs who were reloading their weapons.
“I wouldn’t want a pretty little thing like you to get her,” he told her, “I appreciate the offer, but these guys are dangerous and I don’t want a civilian getting hurt cause of me! Sit this one out, okay? I’ll make it up to you.” He offered her a wink before bringing up the dumpster in front of them. It blocked the bullets the humans had decided to fling their way again.
“Man, you guys are totally killing the mood!” he yelled, shoving the dumpster at them with his electric powers. He didn’t want the girl to get her, but of course he didn’t know anything about her powers, or that she even had them.
He thought he was being a hero.
Grinning, he flew a little higher into the air, looking at the men. They had scattered in their attempt to get out of the way of the dumpster, though one man hadn’t managed to get away in time. He was out like a light behind the large trash can. Good. One less man to deal with.
Looking back at the girl, he offered her a warm, real smile. “Shocking, right?” he teased lightly.

It was just her luck, he wasn’t just a superhero with electrical powers, and he was also a flirting tease. She watched as he through the trash can at the group of robber. “Wow you are quite the hero aren’t you? Wanting to protect little ol me.” Jordan was being sarcastic she didn’t need saving, she was happy with what she was and how she dealt with things. “I’ll just stand here and watch you then.” Jordan kept her eyes on the other robbers who were pulling themselves back together. She pulled at her pig tails and wanted to desperately join the boy in battle.
“I could be great help to you, I may not be the best of people but I’m good at controlling my powers.” She was not the type to show off but she considered that it might be the only way he would believe her. The blonde girl made a step forward sending ice crawling across the floor making one of the robbers slip and slide. She couldn’t help but giggle as he fell and hit his face on the ice, Jordan made the ice move around the man’s body keeping him captive in the ice. She looked back up at the boy, and smiled hopefully that was enough proof to show him that she was more than just a breakable girl he thought she was.
“Sends a chill down your spine doesn’t it?” Jordan bit her lip in a bit of a flirtation way, she really couldn’t help herself from playing the game of tease with this strange boy.

----------------------------------- outfitThe Punisher had just finished his bounty, of yet again another mobster. He had been successful in this bounty, but sustained a large laceration across his left arm. It was nothing a needle and thread couldn't fix, but other than that he was in one piece. He rode through the middle of downtown, trying to make his way home through the clear streets. He couldn't wait to go home and pour himself a glass of his fine Bourbon, that awaited him. Frank continued driving with his left arm, continuing to bleed through his bandages. It was only a matter of time, before the wound became infected or he bled to death. He didn't care. He had nothing to live for, especially after his wife and kids were gone. He'd been on the brink of near death before, and this laceration on his arm was a cake walk.
As he turned the steering wheel of his 1975 Classic Dodge Charger onto 3rd Street, two bullets pierced his windshield causing Castle to lower his head and swerve onto the sidewalk. Frank quickly snatched his glock 19 from his holster belt, and cocked it. He slowly opened the car door, and took cover behind the large sheet of metal. He tried to get a view of the situation, and found a group of people in front of the Electric store. He watched as a teenager easily lifted a dumpster high over his head, in which was then chucked at the impostors. The large dumpster barreled across the sidewalk, hitting one of five men that had been present. He then watched as the blonde teenager had completely iced the sidewalk, causing the impostors to began slipping and sliding. One man wasn't so lucky, because he'd been iced in the process.
Frank quickly moved from his cover position, lowering his body in swift movements still holding his pistol. Whoever these freaks were, would've been dealt with later. He took cover behind a post box. He leaned his head against the box, and then stuck his face out from behind it to see what the hell was happening. “Sends a chill down your spine doesn’t it?” spoke the mutant girl as he continued to watch her work her ice magic. From out of nowhere, another goon had appeared from an alley behind the boy and the girl. Frank quickly pulled out of cover and aimed his pistol at the man's back. The man held a crowbar and was making his way closer to the girl in an attempt to stop her. Before the man could swing the crowbar, the Punisher had pulled the trigger saving the girl from her head being beaten in. The goon collapsed to his knees, and fell over instantly dead. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE EM'!" yelled Frank as he came out of his cover to show himself, now aiming at the freak shows that stood before him. He gritted his teeth and meant business.

Static was blown away- she had powers! So did that make her an accident like him? A resulted of some kind of unfortunate incident? A freak? An alien, maybe? Or perhaps even a mutant. Whatever the case, Static liked that she had power over the elements, just as he did. “Haha! Yeah!” He laughed at her questions, “let’s show these creeps what-for!” He had really wanted to fight side-by-side with the new friend, too, but of course fate had other things in mind. Before he knew it, someone was laying dead on the floor and things had gotten well out of hand. He hadn’t wanted anyone to die! After all, he was supposed to be the good guy. No killing and all that, just like Superman. But now there was a body before him, and the sight of it almost made him sick.
Good thing he had something to distract himself with.
The man who had killed the thug came from the shadows, Static frowning as the other did so. He was pointing a gun not at the bad guys, but at them! Like they were the ones who were supposed to be getting threatened!
“Whoa, ease the hammer back there, friend,” the night light said quickly, sparks flying all around him, “we’re not the bad guys here! Anyway- you’re the one who needs to drop his weapons and puts his hands in the air. Don’t you know the rules? The murderers are the ones who have to surrender!” He wasn’t afraid to fight this guy, but that didn’t mean that he wanted to. Someone was just going to get hurt- this guy was clearly dangerous. But…hadn’t he just helped his new lady friend out? That meant he couldn’t have been all bad, right?
Sometimes it was confusing being a hero. There were so many gray areas everywhere that it was enough to make any head spin, particularly the head of a young, idealistic teenager with very little world experience.
He needed to sit down.
“What’s your deal?” He demanded of the man, “the name’s Static, and if you’re not honest with me I’m going to make sure you have a bad hair day and some major static cling.” He looked at Snow a moment after that, offering her a playful wink.
“Guess we’re going to have to have some fun together another day! But you’re welcome to help me deal with this guy, if you want!” The power of nature, that’s what they were! They just needed to find people who could control water or fire and they would be able to start their own elemental team.
It would be rad.

Snow looked at the man who pointed the gun at them. This was getting way better then before. “Hero I was born to fight.” She took a step forward sending ice freezing the ground and making its way to the man with the gun. “I don’t really like guns, they are the weak way out.” The ice made its way up the man’s leg and around the gun making the whole gun covered in ice, once he dropped the gun and it hit the floor breaking in to millions of tiny pieces. Snow looked at back at boy who was on her side. “What’s next?”
Snow thought about why this man was pointing guns at them, was he a cop, Snow hated cops they were always trying to arrest her and take her to jail or try to kill her. She just wanted to do this fight and get it done with. Snow could feel her human personality try and convince her that fighting was not the way to go. But snow shrugged her off and watched all the men that were standing around. She waited for everyone’s next move. What would happen next was not what anyone expected. The robbers began to show that they were not as human as everyone had thought. They were becoming monsters of some sort. “um does anyone else notice the human monsters going all crazy over their?” snow stared at the humans and wondered what was going on, maybe there was more to this then what she thought.

The Punisher continued aiming his pistol at the mutants hoping he would get some scare out of them. They seemed fearless which seemed as no shocker, because they were heroes. They dodged death everyday just like himself, but Frank had nothing to live for and wasn't afraid of his demise. He looked down at the lifeless body that laid before him for one quick second, but still kept his guard up with the ice princess, and the static boy. Frank had taken a lot of lives, because he was a man who had a thick coating of ice over his heart. If any of them attempted to try anything, then he would've been ready with brute force.
Frank quickly pulled another pistol from his holster with lightning speed. He was now dual wielding two Glock 19's which one was aimed at the teenage blonde, and the other at the other teenage boy from above. He looked over at the last three robbers, and began shooting at them quick trigger finger speed. Approximately 8 rounds from each gun penetrated the monster humanoids within a matter of two seconds. hoping it would've caused damage. Frank quickly tossed his jammed pistols back into the holsters and withdrew his mini-shotgun from around his lower back. He ignored the teenage boy's comments, as now there was a bigger threat now among them.
Suddenly, a large punch from behind knocked Frank to the concrete. Frank's face slapped hard against the cement ground, causing his nose to bleed. His shotgun had slid out of his hands and across the pavement and into the street from the large amount of force that was applied to the back of his head. The man quickly snatched Punisher up by the back of his trench coat with no problem and tossed him up the street letting him roll across the pavement like a sack of potatoes. Ebon revealed himself.

Things had suddenly gone completely crazy. The thugs were changing into monsters, he had two people with him who both seemed like they were perfectly fine with murdering everyone around them, and he had no idea what he was supposed to do to calm the situation. His primary concern had switched once again, re-focusing on the thugs over the strange man with all the guns. “Whoa!” He yelped, “dang, if I didn’t know any better I’d say we have another big bang on our hands!” Of course, he wasn’t sure either of his companions were even listening to him at that point, and even if they were, he doubted they knew what he was yammering on about. But that’s what it reminded him of- the way everyone had started to shift and change when the gases had been released that fateful day on the docks. But there was no gas this time, just some angry looking monsters who seemed capable of taking a lot of bullets. Well, that was good, since he didn’t want to see anyone else killed, but it also meant they would probably be pretty hard to put down. He swooped around, circling his snowy friend for a moment.
“Think you can put them on ice for the time being?” He asked after a moment, smiling as happily as ever, despite the situation, “I’ll see if I can make sir shoots a lot put his toys away.” With that, he flew himself over to the trench-coat wearing maniac, only to see him already down and another man standing in his place. It was at that moment that all the fun and joy fell from Static, a genuine moment of anger washing over him.
“Ebon,” he snarled, “man, what the heck are you doing here? Last I saw, you and Hotstreak sank to the bottom of the sea together and it was happily ever after. Don’t you know how much sequels suck?”
The guy grunted in response, tilting his head in a sort of menacing ‘you mean nothing to me’ kind of way. “Punk, you think I’d go out just like that? You can’t get rid of me that easy, Static.” His voice was as threatening as ever, and almost enough to send a shiver down Static’s spine. This was a guy even Static didn’t like to mess with- a real villain with very dark intentions in his heart. If only he had been a more easily converted sort, like his brother had been. But Ebon was not like Rubberband Man, and he would never be.
Some dudes were just bad news, and he was one of them.
“Hey Snow Angel!” Static called ,though he was pretty sure that wasn’t her name, “I think those thugs just got down graded- this guy needs to chill, first.” He looked back at Ebon, shooting large bolts of electricity at him. Ebon slipped into the shadows to evade, popping up several feet away. “So you gonna spill what you’re doing here, Ebon?” Static demanded, “did you have something to do with those guys suddenly hulking out like that?” Of course he was suspicious.
He didn’t need another batch of thugs gaining super powers from chemicals. He’d had enough of that in Dakota.

Finally the boy was going to let her handle something on her own, maybe he wasn’t that bad. The white haired snow made her way to the guys and began to freeze them one by one. It was actually making her feel better about life. “Snow angel” did he just call her an angel? Jordan rolled her eyes and made her way back to the boy and the shoot happy man. “Freeze I can do.”
Jordan put her hands out and began freezing the shoot happy man. She covered his whole body in ice leaving only his neck and his head out. “I don’t know how long the ice will stay strong but it should hold him for a while.” Jordan looked up at static he seemed to be mad she liked this, a party of anger and everyone was having fun. “You better tell the sparkie what he wants to know before I make the ice damage you more than it is already” the girl seemed to enjoy this boys attitude it was different but once this was over she would give him her number in case he ever needed her help again and then she would leave, leave to the brotherhood and never comeback. Jordan kept a close eye on the shot happy guy. He was going to spill his secrets wither he liked it or not.
Jordan watched as the bad guys started to break free of the ice. The young girl let out a sigh and ran back over to them skidding on the ice and knocking over one of the men, this was only just beginning ! | | [cs=2][atrb=width,450px,true] So, by keeping her heart protected She’d never ever feel rejected Little Miss Apprehensive I said ooh, she fell in love
