Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

A figure clad in blue and black hovered over New York City as the sun pressed down against the skyline. It was clear that the figure was rather young. He was only eighteen years old after all. He had clean cut brown hair and a very clear face. His eyes were covered by a mask and appeared to be a bright clear white. He was wearing the traditional outfit of blue lantern corps that had been programed into his Blue Power Ring that was located on his right index finger. There was a blue glow around him emanating the hope that was inside him. T.J. looked over the city as he hovered high above New York City. The view was amazing as the winter sun had begun to set early upon the New York City sky lines. He took a large sigh. Not one of relief of sadness. He was a bit frustrated. The view was beautiful and all. He was flying. He was a Blue Lantern. In fact, he had just returned from Odym. The only problem was a big one. He had been gone for two weeks. Two weeks! How was he supposed to explain that to his friends and family! He hadn't figured out what he was going to tell them. He could of course tell his friends. Though Charlie was being rather distant lately and Chris was in rehab. What if Chris got drunk and blurted out his secret identity? Not to mention his family. His mother would never let him be a Lantern. He wasn't too sure about how his father would react to the news. It was usually easy to guess his reactions, but not with this. Of course, T.J. strongly believed it would all turn out well. But that didn't stop the jitters. Even T.J. knew he was the worst liar in the history of the universe. He was just terrible. Besides what would he say? MIT called and sent a helicopter to pick him up for a two week orientation in which he had to live amongst the other students?
T.J. tried to shake the thoughts of this away even though he knew he had to deal with them sooner or later. Instead he decided to take in the beauty of the setting sun over the New York City skyline. The clouds seemed to part for the sun as the Red Sea had for Moses. The sky was a vibrant variety of colors making a beautiful sun set. A cast of orange haze located itself above the horizon as it lit up the sky like a fire. Yet the haze was clear and crisp. The sun was partially hidden by hanging clouds splashed with a variety of seemingly random colors. Yet somehow those hot pinks, reds and hues and hints of purples and blues seemed to go together somehow. Like an abstract painting. The sun set the sky ablaze as it sunk lower and lower against the New York City skyline. But not even the beauty of the sun set coupled with his joy of finally being able to fly as well as finally being back home and as a Blue Lantern no less, could stop the thoughts of the impending confrontation from seeping back into his mind. It just kept popping up no matter how much he tried to think of something else.

This country was massive, it wasn't a small island. To visit other States, people could take planes. That never happened in England, apart from the occasional trip to Scotland but Lilith had never done that. Of course, it wasn't the furthest that she had been from home, here in America. The girl, currently an astrophysicist student, had been to space. Smiling, Lilith handed out a blanket to a poor man who was wearing a coat that looked like it hadn't been taken off for several months. "There's a building just left of the Main Street if your approach it from this direction that gives out free meals." |
Lilith informed him with a smile. Normally, the girl didn't hang around New York but as often as possible she tried to travel around and help out other places. There were so many people who needed hope in their lives and working as a Super hero was not the only way to give hope. Lilith was certain that helping as a normal human gave a lot of hope. Smiling, Lilith went on, armed with a backpack full of chocolate, blankets and soup in a thermal flask. Helping made her happy and it gave hope as well. Certainly one of the best things in life. It was then that the student noticed that there was another Blue Lantern around here. This perked the student's curiosity (which wasn't too hard) and moving through the park and to somewhere quieter. Not long after, she emerged clad in the standard uniform and took off into the air, heading towards the other Blue Lantern. This was going to be lots of fun. Lilith loved meeting new people and as this was a fellow Corps member it should add to the fun. Coming closer, the red head took in the fact that this person appeared to be human and she offered a smile. "Hi!" The student greeted brightly, not one to be shy in introductions. T.J. scratched his head for a moment as he trie to think harder of what he could say. Maybe he could tell them he had stayed at Charlie's. But then what would he tell Charlie? Even if he did come up with a good lie he wasn't going to be able to pull off telling the lie. He was a horrible liar. T.J. sighed again as he let his arms fall at his side. He wished it was less complicated than it was, but he knew he'd get through it some how. One way or another it would turn out okay. T.J. was so deep in thought that he hadn't even realized the female blue lantern approaching. In fact, he didn't even realize she was near until she spoke. T.J. looked over a little jumpily. He was nervous.
He was nervous about being hero. He was nervous about making a good impression. He was nervous about having to lie to his family and friends. And now he was nervous because there was another person in front of him. Of course, this nervousness multiplied due to the fact that it was another Blue Lantern. He still felt like he needed to make an impression upon the Blue Lantern Corps. The whole ordeal had happened so fast in his head. It felt unreal. He felt as if the other Blue Lanterns would show up at any given moment to see if he really was Blue Lantern material.
But T.J. tried to push that all to the back of his mind. He wanted to make a good impression after all. "Hello," T.J. replied his usual small, peaceful smile on his face. T.J. wasn't quite sure what else he was supposed to say. Sure he'd like to have a conversation, but he was also socially inept. He ahd trouble with these things. The girl had red hair and was a shorter than him. She wore the standard uniform programmed into the Blue Lantern's ring like his own. T.J. had been meaning to modify his own uniform at one point or another, but he had had other things on his mind and he hadn't exactly had his blue power ring for very long. He hadn't had time to think about how he wanted to modify it.

She always found it hard to understand how others thought, putting herself in their shoes and what not. Beaming brightly as she smiled at him, Lilith noticed that he was more peaceful and she thought that he might prefer it if she turned down her cheerfulness. Then again, it might just be how he was most of the time, she supposed. "Hello," Lilith waited, watching to see if the stranger would say anything else but he remained silent and the student guessed that she would be continuing the conversation. It was something that she could do. "I guess its the good thing that I was in town... city today." |
She said, frowning as she considered how New York was a city not a town, but it sounded better to say 'town'. Her English accent was clear as she spoke. "Its always great to meet other Lanterns. I didn't know that there was another Blue Lantern around. It's great!" Lilith did not stop smiling as she spoke, her eyes sparkling with delight and honesty as she looked up at the slightly taller Lantern. The student always wanted to meet more people and another team member who she had not met before seemed like it was perfect. Leaning back in the air, the girl was completely at ease with the stranger and heights. "I'm guessing that you're new. I'm fairly new myself. I should probably introduce myself, shouldn't I? My name's Lilith. Pleasure to meet you." Lilith said, holding out her hand as she gave her actual name. After all, they were within the same Corps and Lilith always thought that not much harm could come from sharing first names. After all there were billions of people on the world. As she hovered above the ground, Lilith started to think about the physics behind it and whether they would reach terminal velocity if the rings suddenly failed. Terminal velocity was one of her favorite non star related part of physics, if only because it was one of the first parts of physics that she had understood before all of her class when in Secondary School.[/div] tags: T.J. word count:N/A muse: The News notes: None Though BRY made this table, all the credit goes to RAVEN for the idea! :D[/style]

T.J. wondered if the other blue lantern lived in New York City like he did. Now that would be a strange coincidence. Sure there were a ton of people in New York City, but still. He turned down the thought due to the blue lanterns British accent that was clear in her voice as she spoke. She was definitely in possession of a blue lantern personality. T.J. noted that she was rather cheerful which was fine with him. He would be a lot more than cheerful if he didn't have the lie hanging over his head. In fact he' probably be soaring through the skies over happily to have finally accomplished his dream of flying.
"Yeah, I didn't know either. It's cool." He responded calmly and peacefully with a hint of nervousness and cheerfulness mixed in. T.J. wasn't taken off-guard by the blue lanterns formal addressing of herself in using her name. They were part of the same Lantern Corp. They were both Blue Lanterns. On Odym he had heard some of the residents refer to each other by first name or even with titles like 'brother' or 'sister'. The latter took a little getting used to at first.
T.J. shook Lilith's hand. "It's nice to meet you too. I'm T.J." he replied. T.J. would not of used his real name with another hero outside of the Lantern Corps. After all, they weren't as formal and they also used their own secret identities. He had heard that there were several members of the Green Lantern Corps. on earth and they held the Green Lantern identity. T.J. had created the Blue Lantern mantle now. Sure just Blue Lantern was not very creative, but Blue Lanterns inspired hope and he saw no reason to change the name of what he was. He wanted to inspire hope and just the name Blue Lantern should do that much.
"Yeah, I'm new. I'm actually just got back from Odym." T.J. was a bit surprised that she knew he was new. Was it really that obvious. He supposed. He wasn't that good at hiding his emotions, especially nervousness. Not to mention the fact he hadn't modified his suit and he was simply hovering over New York City rather than well . . . . doing Blue Lantern things. She also probably would have heard of another Blue Lantern in her sector. "How long have you been part of the Blue Lantern Corps.?" He asked trying to hold up his end of the conversation.

She'd never been good with understanding how to have a normal-er conversation. The other Blue Lantern certainly seemed calmer than Lilith felt. "Yeah, I didn't know either. It's cool." Turning her head to the side as she listened, Lilith smiled. Having company would be a good thing, to be honest, she had expected her day to be fairly solitary. It wasn't often that she would have someone to talk to. Maybe he would want to help her hand out soup and blankets! Or maybe he had something in mind that she could help with! Shaking the Blue Lantern's hand, Lilith continued to beam a friendly smile at him. "It's nice to meet you too. I'm T.J." Considering that name, Lilith wondered if it was short for something. Probably was. "Nice to meet you, T.J., quite a cool name. I'm guessing its short for something. No need to tell me what for, though. There should be more people with names shortened to letters. It sounds epic." Lilith did have a tendency to talk a little too much and only realise it after going a bit too far. "Yeah, I'm new. I'm actually just got back from Odym. How long have you been part of the Blue Lantern Corps.?" Oh, a question! Lilith loved these, part of the reason she wanted to become a scientist. They always got to ask and answer questions. "About a few months or half a year. Not really that long, truth be told. Did you have any plans on things to be doing today? I was going around giving out soup and blankets. Charity work and stuff. Company is always welcome. And it really cheers people up. I also have chocolate in case of emergencies and young children." Lilith said, laughing casually and acting as if they were already good friends. Maybe she came across as over friendly, but Lilith always thought that being over friendly was better than being cold.[/div] tags: T.J. word count:N/A muse: Folk notes: None Though BRY made this table, all the credit goes to RAVEN for the idea! :D[/style]

T.J. didn’t know how to respond to her response to his name. She was so overly cheerful and she used epic to describe his name. He had never really though of it as much more than a name. “Thanks?” T.J. responded. He wasn’t quite sure what he was supposed to say. He knew it was a compliment though.
A few months or have year? Man she had been a member of the Blue Lantern corps a lot longer than he had. She had more experience. He wondered what kinds of work she had done as a Blue Lantern. If she had worked with any other heroes. Lilith sure did live by the hope aspect of being a Blue Lantern. Carrying around chocolate for emergencies? T.J. had always gone out of his way to help people when the chance presented itself.
“Uh actually I don’t have any plans. Well, I still have to come up with an excuse as to where I’ve been the past two weeks. I’m afraid i was at a distance planet receiving the power of hope might not go well with my Dad.” T.J. said partially joking, but ti was also the truth. With that the problem flooded back into his head. He couldn’t think of any reason why he would just disappear for two weeks. There was also the matter that he hadn’t gone t visit Chris in rehab. He had been taken to Odym the next day. And Chris needed his support. He had to go and visit his friend once he came up with his lie as to where he was. Maybe he’d just tell Chris he couldn’t talk about where he’d been.
“I was thinking of finding someone who needs my help. I can’t tell my family about being a Blue Lantern just yet. Not unti lI prove that I can do a good job as one. I don’t want to cause anymore riffs.” He said thinking of how his mother would never let her ‘Teddy’, as she called him, become some intergalactic warrior of hope.

"Thanks. It is true. I do love names like that." she said honestly. It was the truth, she did find names like that epic. "I suppose that I would be L.B. if I tried it out. Doesn't sound as good. Wait, is the second letter a middle name or surname or have I complete misunderstood how it works?" In the air, everything seemed easier and a lot more laid back, Lilith did enjoy flying and it reminded her of physics, which she loved. “Uh actually I don’t have any plans. Well, I still have to come up with an excuse as to where I’ve been the past two weeks. I’m afraid i was at a distance planet receiving the power of hope might not go well with my Dad.” Oh, excuses, Lilith was sure that she could help with that sort of thing. She was meant to use her brain a lot, after all. Waiting for a few more seconds, Lilith let T.J. explain his situation a bit more so that she would have a better idea. “I was thinking of finding someone who needs my help. I can’t tell my family about being a Blue Lantern just yet. Not unti lI prove that I can do a good job as one. I don’t want to cause anymore riffs.” Lilith nodded thoughtfully as she listened to his words. "Well, you could always say that you went on a spiritual journey and it was rather sudden but absolutely necessary. Or maybe you went looking for things to study! Nothing can go wrong with education. And I'm always open for helping. I can even say that I was trying to convince you to learn physics!" Stretching as she stood in the air, Lilith wondered whether she would be of much help with excuses. She didn't know the entire situation at the moment which did mean that anything she said could be completely irrelevant. 'Data, data, data, I cannot make bricks without clay' came to her mind. It was always good to start quoting Sherlock Holmes in one's head. But it was a true fact, no matter how one looked at it. "And for now we can go about doing Blue Lantern stuff. I generally just appear as myself though. Only so much that a uniform can do, I think." The student said, her voice slightly serious as she considered that. T.J. found Lilith a bit strange. But ti wasn't a bad strange. He liked her. After all, she couldn't be bad. She was a Blue Lantern. And there was quite a weeding out process to become a part of the Blue Lantern Corps. Even more so than the other Lantern Corps. It wasn't racist towards the other Lantern Corps. It was simply a fact. There was more criteria to be met to join the Blue Lantern Corps. Almost anyone could be strong-willed. But to be endlessly hopeful and optimistic? To inspire others with you hope and spread it to others? That was a task very few could do. Not that many people are uncommonly kind, optimistic and hopeful. And that's what any member of the Blue Lantern Corps needed to be.
"Some people do it with their first and last names. I use my first and middle name though. The latter is more common." T.J. responded. T.J. listened to Lilith's suggestions, but he knew neither would work. Especially the spiritual thing. That actually might make his father madder than him disappearing for two weeks. That's if he was lucky enough that his father hit his head and lost some I.Q. points and would but it. Anyone of at least normal intelligence could tell when T.J. was lying. He was just a terrible liar. The physics thing would not of worked, because his father already knew he was into science, particularly physics. Hell, he had been accepted to MIT. Even his father, who tried his best to ignore all of the nerdy quirks and interests of T.J., knew that he was into physics.
"Eh, the spiritual thing wouldn't work with my dad. That actually might make him madder. He's kind of a grumpy guy. It also doesn't help that I'm a terrible liar." He explained rubbing the back of his neck at the ending of the sentence. Then something sparked his interest. "You're into physics too," he inquired? It wasn't everyday that T.J. met another person who shared any of the same interests as him. Especially when it came to physics. It just wasn't very popular. Particularly, because physics wasn't exactly the easiest thing to grasp. It was easier for T.J., but for the average person it was harder and the average person also found it boring. T.J. never understood how anyone could find the study of the mysteries of the universe as it did encompass everything. It was the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. It was everything. But T.J. excepted long ago that he was the odd man in the eyes of most people.

It could be fun. "Some people do it with their first and last names. I use my first and middle name though. The latter is more common." "Hm..." Lilith said thoughtfully as she considered this. How would she have a name like that then? Lilith had no middle name. "Well, it seems I cannot share in the epicness as I have no middle name. I guess it means more epicness for you, though." She said cheerfully after some thought. Then it was back to thinking of excuses. Looking back to when she had returned, Lilith remembered that her Mum had not really noticed. Lilith was at uni and although she kept in close contact with her mother, it wasn't as if her mother paid too much attention. But at least her mother's health was improving and she was almost back to normal now. Lilith smile turned from over friendly to peaceful as she considered this, until she remembered that she was meant to be thinking of excuses. "Eh, the spiritual thing would work with my dad. That actually might make him madder. He's kind of a grumpy guy. It also doesn't help that I'm a terrible liar.""Right, and if you need help the lying thing, I'm not good either but all books and movies suggest that you keep as close to the truth as possible. So it isn't really a lie, just selected... selected-ish truth. I've never tried it out myself but it does seem like a logical conclusion." Lilith said, wondering which books or movies she had heard this from. The ginger haired girl couldn't name a specific one but she was quite sure that she was remembering something and not making it up on the spot. "You're into physics too," Lilith brightened up considerably when she heard that. Another person who liked Physics, this was great! "Who doesn't?" She asked, her voice sounding extremely lively. "And if people claim to not like it, ignore them. How could one not like the universe and the stars and nuclear fusion and singularities! And the fact that the universe is infinite and still expanding according to current theories that I have heard! It's great. I want to be an astrophysicist, what about you?" Lilith was delighted to find another person who was interested in Physics.[/div] tags: T.J. word count:N/A muse: Various notes: Sorry for the delay Though BRY made this table, all the credit goes to RAVEN for the idea! :D[/style]

T.J. couldn’t help but wonder if he and Lilith would get to work together. He hoped so. It could be cool and fun. He had a feeling that fighting crime with others by your side was probably more fun than working alone. He knew some people would probably work better alone. But T.J. preferred company. T.J, had heard of people with no middle names. He hadn’t met many of them. T.J. had always viewed middle names as a safehaven to switch up to initials if your parents named you something you didn’t like or there were a lot of people with the same name as you. T.J. had never much liked his own first name. Theodore. After Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt.
T.J. thought about what Lilith said about lying. He had seen that in movies and read parts of books where the person lied close to the truth. Half-truths. Sort of. From almost any other situation that would have been great advice. But he had no idea how he was going to keep close to the truth that he was recruited by intergalactic police warriors of hope and brought to their headquarters on a planet called Odym where he underwent training and took tests to make sure he was blue lantern material. That was just so out of it that he couldn’t think of anything that sounded even a little bit realistic that was close to that truth.
T.J. understood why some people might not like physics. They simply didn’t care about the secrets of the universe. Or rather it was too complicated and they didn’t like complicated things. Maybe they couldn’t understand it. Perhaps they were interested in simpler things and left the complications of the universe up to people like himself and Lilith. “An Astrophysicist? That’s cool. I’m going to MIT next year. I’m going for Physics. I’m going to become a physicist. But I’m into other fields of science as well. I love biology. I really love mechanics. It’d be pretty cool to design something that goes onto mars or the moon y’know?”

There were so many aspects of Physics and they were all so interesting. Smiling, she leaned her head back, closing her eyes and smilling as she thought about all the fun physics lessons that she had been through and the brilliant lessons that she had ahead of her. “An Astrophysicist? That’s cool. I’m going to MIT next year. I’m going for Physics. I’m going to become a physicist. But I’m into other fields of science as well. I love biology. I really love mechanics. It’d be pretty cool to design something that goes onto mars or the moon y’know?”Listening to T.J.'s words, Lilith nodded to show that she had heard his words. "That sounds good, I must admit that I'm not too into biology. I'm not the best with the study of the human body, never really stuck in my head. Although I completely understand about wanting to get things on Mars or the Moon. My aim is to try and discover something unknown about the universe or helping to get humanity outside of our own solar system. After all, there is so much than mankind could explore and so much we could all learn from being able to travel through this universe." Lilith replied. Looking back down at the city below her, Lilith remembered why she had come visiting. "Well, if you want to, I've got chocolate, soup and blankets for the poor and children, so your welcome to help me hand stuff out. I'm sure we can talk about physics while helping out." Lilith said, cheerfully, fiddling with her thumb, being double jointed in her thumb was fun at times and even Lilith enjoyed seeing how far she could bend it.[/div] tags: T.J. word count:N/A muse: Various notes: None Though BRY made this table, all the credit goes to RAVEN for the idea! :D[/style]

T.J. had not specified exactly which area of physics he his preference because he loved them all. He hadn't decided between them. He was a believer in the Unified Field Theory, String Theory and the Multiverse Theory. He had been long before the merging of the two universes. Of course, he took the merging as proof of M-Theory. He was increasingly interested in Astrophysics, Experimental Particle Physics and Theoretical Particle Physics. They were the forerunners in the areas he was most interested in when it came to physics. He was also interested in Physical Cosmology. Something about unfolding the secrets of the Universes creation appealed to him. Though not as appealing to him as unfolding the secrets to the universe itself as a whole.
"I agree. There's so much more out there and so much we can learn from the planets and civilizations outside of our own solar system. I have plenty of goals, but I haven't decided which is the most important to me. I'd love to be the one who proves Unified Field Theory or String Theory." He said enthusiastically. "I like biology, but I'm more interested in neurobiology or neuroscience than just regular biology. Figuring out all the things about the human brain would be rather fun."
It didn't take long for T.J. to decide he would help Lilith. He was after all, a very helpful person. It was one of the things that helped him become a Blue Lantern in the first place. Not to mention he was up for a conversation about physics. It wasn't everyday that he got to talk about it being that most people he knew didn't understand it or didn't care about it. Or both. Perhaps it made them feel dumb or something due to not comprehending what he said about it most of the time. But T.J. shrugged it off. Not everyone would be interested in the same things as him. But it was fun when he did find someone who liked and understood physics. "Okay." He agreed. "Lead the way."

The tunes where great and she loved them. Great fun to casually hum while talking about science. "I agree. There's so much more out there and so much we can learn from the planets and civilizations outside of our own solar system. I have plenty of goals, but I haven't decided which is the most important to me. I'd love to be the one who proves Unified Field Theory or String Theory." Nodding, Lilith silence her humming as she allowed herself to take in her fellow Blue Lantern's words. "I like biology, but I'm more interested in neurobiology or neuroscience than just regular biology. Figuring out all the things about the human brain would be rather fun.""While biology is fun and understanding how our brains work would be fascinating, its not a subject that I would be able to manage. I admire those who have the brains for it but I do not envy them. I'm fine with sticking to my favorite part of science. Space, the finally frontier and all that." Lilith replied, briefly quoting Star Trek. It was something that she had really loved not that long ago. Once she had even tried living like a Vulcan, that must have been back in Secondary School... maybe it had been quite some time ago. Thinking about feeding the poor and helping them, Lilith was glad that she didn't have to wait long for a reply. "Okay. Lead the way.""Rightio, follow your leader!" Lilith said lightly, floating towards where she had left her bag full of supplies. "I've got plenty of chocolate so don't be afraid to ask for some if you need it." Lilith added, smiling as she lead the way, twisting back and forth so she was looking at T.J. one moment and then checking that she was going in the right direction the next moment. They were both at about 180 degrees from each other and so it wasn't too easy to keep an eye on both but the student didn't mind, instead enjoying this opportunity to move around.[/div] tags: T.J. word count:N/A muse: Various notes: None Though BRY made this table, all the credit goes to RAVEN for the idea! :D[/style]

T.J. recognized the tune she was humming after a moment. It was from War of the Worlds. T.J. was quite the science fiction fan. Though he was into plenty of other things. He loved comics. His favorite was The Walking Dead. He remembered the last issue he read. Carl Grimes had followed Negan back to his base and unleashed an assault rifle bigger than himself on a bunch of Negan’s men. He was also a big fan of the Percy Jackson books and the Harry Potter books. It was more a love for fiction than a love for particularly science fiction. He listened to her reply to his piece on biology and neuroscience.
“You’re quite the science fiction fan huh,” T.J. replied and after a moment he began to talk a bit awkwardly, “Oh um before you were humming the music from War of the Worlds. And just now you quoted Star Trek. I believe it was Star Trek five: The Final Frontier.” T.J. began to follow Lilith back to where she had left her bag full of supplies. T.J. smiled at her offer of chocolate of he wanted any. It reminded him of one of his favorite characters from literature. “Ah chocolate, there’s a reason Lupin handed them out after the dementors. It just emits happiness." Remus Lupin was his second favorite Harry Potter character. Right behind Fred and George Weasley. If there was one thing he missed the most from the Harry Potter books it was the pranks pulled by the twins. No doubt the saddest moment to T.J. was when Fred Weasley died.
Once T.J. landed on the ground his costume began to slowly disappear back into his ring. He was wearing a grey hoodie unzipped over a faded black Star Wars shirt. It was of the original, first trilogy of course. He wasn't a fan of the first two prequels. Though he had few bad things to say about Revenge of the Sith. People might bash the prequels, but Revenge of the Sith had been a decent movie to him. He was wearing a pair comfortable jeans with a belt. His wallet made a small bulge in his pocket. T.J. was of average height, standing at five foot nine and had a skinny, lean, wiry physique. His short brown hair was cleanly cut, though it was slightly ruffled from the wind. His heavy-lidded eyes were dark, misty yet optimistic grey.
