Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

[/size] [style=width:430; height:490; background-color:070014; padding:5; text-align:justify; font-family:verdana; font-size:11px; color:78747F; overflow:auto] Today was a special day for Raven. Today, the Titans would be back together, or the Titans that she could find. Wally, Tim and Static. Raven always had regreted not getting closer to Static, she had had more time with Wally and Tim. But hopefully, if all went well, then there would be the Teen Titans once again and more time to get to know everyone. As well as former members, Raven had invited a young teleport she had met called Mal. The Titan believed that Mal would be able to improve within a safe environment. The girl had showed enthusiasm. Raven had also heard from Tim that he was bringing a teenager who might join as well. The Titans always welcomed new blood.
During the past week, the half demon had been working on improving Titans Tower. It had been left but Victor had done good work on the tower and it hadn't been too hard for Raven to research enough to be able to fix the Living Room up with electricity. The kitchen, too, was working. With the Living Room, Raven had even been able to focus on getting luxuries to work (on top of lighting and heating), the games should work, although Raven suspected that they were outdated games, seeing how fast the market seemed to go. The kitchen allowed the Titan to cook a meal as well.
A large table adorned the Living Room (which in itself was a nice large room, capable of looking after many teenagers). On this table was an asortment of snacks, take aways and a roast diner - which Raven had worked hard to prepare. The Roast contained chicken, potatoes, vegatables, cabbage in a cream sauce. There was also pudding, which Raven had left in the fridge. So everything seemed prepared and Raven turned her indigo eyes to the clock, it was nearly the time that she had told everyone to come. It was likely that one or two would be late.
Giving the room one last check, Raven made sure that there were enough seats, that there was nothing broken or unfixed, the lights were working, the games, the food was warm and smelled appeazing. Still, Raven gave a glare at the roast. That had not been easy and she worried that she might not have made too much of a good work. But that was out of her control and probably not the worst food that some of them had sampled. Walking around the room, the Titan decided that everything was ready and she could relax for the small amount of time she had left until someone appeared. As well as one or two being likely to be late, Raven suspected that more would be on time or even early.
So with everything underway, Raven sat down, levitating above the ground and started to meditate in what little time she would have. There would be many emotions, something she had allowed herself to get unfamilar with, and Raven still feared that her demonic side may make an apperance in the not too distant future if she did not keep herself under control. Recently it had been too easy for her to almost slip up, it was not something that she wanted a repeat of. [/div] [/style]

Wally had mixed feelings about this day. The reunion of the Teen Titans. He had hoped for a reformation, after all he had never wanted to leave in all honesty. He could still remember the day he and the others had founded the first incarnation of the Teen Titans. He could remember the strong bond he had built with his best friend Nightwing. Of course, he was Robin at the time. Thinking about how there have two Robins since Dick made Wally feel old. Like it was a million years ago when they formed the Teen Titans for the first time. He was enthusiastic about everything that was going underway and couldn't wait to see them again. However, at the same time a feeling of despair kept trying to creep up at him. How could he be happy and what not after what happened during the five years he spent in the other universe on the other Earth. He felt horrible for what had happened and that he wasn't able to save anyone.
If that wasn't bad enough, raven would be there and they had known each other for a long time. He was afraid that she'd be able to see the difference between the old Wally and the new one even if he did his best to put up his facade. For Wally, it had been a much longer time since he saw the others than the others saw him due to the fact he spent five years in the other universe and came back only a couple of months after his disappearance. He had changed much in that time span. He had become more responsible. He had gotten married. He had two children to take care of. He had taken up the mantle of that world's Flash. And then he lost everything. Much had happened and he wasn't completely the same guy as before.
Wally was running at a speed most people wouldn't believe, yet for him this was a casual run or jog. Super speed was a power Wally wouldn't trade for any other power. It was a part of him. The world around him seemed to stop on its axis as he ran. As if it all revolved around him. He looked around taking the beauty of the world in as he ran. Then he finally arrived. He took a deep breathe as the jitters tried to overcome him as they nipped at his neck. He was nervous, but Wally was good at hiding this. At least for the moment. He silently entered the Teen Titans tower before rushing at super speed to the kitchen when he smelled food. He was about to loudly announce himself before realizing Raven was meditating. In one fourth of the blink of an eye Wally was sitting lazily on a chair eating from a small snack bag of chips in front of Raven. He wondered if she had realized he was here yet. He was pretty quiet, especially for Wally West standards.
"Raven," he said questioningly as he waved a hand in front of her face at super speed? He had a large friendly, Wally West grin in. It had been a long time since he had seen the others and he couldn't help but feel a big slap of nostalgia from being back in Titans Tower again. He hadn't come in civilian clothes in case something happened, but also because he had gotten wind that new people would be coming. the old Wally West wouldn't of been so careful. He would've been too trusting. But after everything he's gone through he knows better, yet he must pretend he doesn't.

Often it could seem difficult, being an empath yet unable to allow herself to feel her own emotions. Of course Raven had broken that protocol more than once. The Titan did give into emotions, she still felt for Gar and that put her in danger. She cared for her friends and that put her in danger. The more worrying thing was that it put them in danger. If Trigon did managed to get back through Raven then she might threaten them. Which was why the teenager concentrated on keeping the emotions to a minimum. But being in a meditative state did not mean that she was unaware of the emotions around her.
An emotion had approached the tower, from the signature, it was possible for Raven to identify Wally. He was slightly nervous, but soon the emotion was on the move and Raven lost track of it. Wally would be somewhere within the tower now and so she began to slowly move out of her trance like state. The emotional signature of Wally paused and Raven knew that he was now within the room. There was less time than she had suspected, but that wasn't always too surprising when a super speeded super hero was coming over. Still, she couldn't pull out of her meditation quickly however Raven sensed that she was more than half way there.
"Raven," At that point Raven slowly opened her eyes, blinking as she felt the air brush past it and her indigo eyes looking at Wally's cheerful face. The teenager could tell that he was not the same as he had been, her empathy powers told her that. But the Titan didn't question that, people changed. "It's a pleasure to see you again, Wally." [/b] Raven smiled, placing her feet on the ground and rising so she was now standing. "It really has been too long. If this goes well, I'm thinking of seeing if the Teen Titans can once again be a team."[/b] Or family. It was there, Raven felt like the team was more of a family than her own. Then again, that wasn't too hard. Glancing at the bag of chips in Wally's hand, the teenager couldn't help but offer a smile. "I hope I've got enough food. I'm not sure if I've done a good job with the roast diner. Or that I've gotten a wide enough spread of other options."[/b] Raven commented. It was not that easy for her to understand what teenagers wanted. But the girl had done her best to try and offer a range and to compensate for anyone who had an increased metabolism. Raven also noted that she was feeling slightly anxious and dispelled the emotions as best she could. Despite the meditation some emotions did get through. It might appear minor but to Raven it was important to note that. Turning her attention back to Wally, Raven noticed that he was wearing his costume, like she was. Her hood was down through, the Titan wanted to keep things open and friendly. "How have you been keeping?"[/b] Raven asked politely, although she was curious as to how Wally was. He certainly seemed older and there was the slight change in his emotion. It was rude to pry, though, so Raven had left her question open; Wally could talk about anything that had happened, negative or positive.[/blockquote][/div] [/style] Tags: Teen Titans Word Count: 602 Muse: Song of the Lonely Mountain Notes:There have been no replies in six days, so I thought I would continue it. “Right back at ya,” Wally greeted as Raven smiled. Wally knew that Raven was an empath so despite being overjoyed at seeing his old friend and ally again, he was also trying to suppress any feelings or thoughts that might hint towards all of the pain he had recently been through. He didn’t need Raven having to feel that pain as well. Not to mention he wasn’t ready for anyone, even an old friend like Raven, to know what he had been through. He decided to let his overjoyed emotions run wild inside of him as he reminisced in his head some of their old missions missions with the team. Wally had tried meditating once, without all the floating and what not. But he didn’t have the patience for it. It just made him more anxious. Time truly did move differently for him than it did for others. Everything, even time, seemed unbelievably slow to Wally.
“Really,” Wally asked though it wasn’t a rude really or anything. Instead it was an excited and intrigued really, “I think that’s a great idea. Especially with all of the new criminals from this other world that’s merged with our own. The JL is going to have it’s hands full dealing with new criminals as well as new heroes and other organizations. Flash was telling me about some team from the other other world called the ‘Avengers’ or something which is like their Justice League in a way. So the JL is definitely going to have their hands full, which means that they’ll need all the help they can get from us. The more united we stand the easier it’ll be to defend against threats.” Wally sure was showing a more keen and responsible side to him than when he was younger. “Although I suppose since you’re used to my more fun side I should be saying we need to band together because we can’t let these other dimension heroes out-do us.” Wally let out a chuckle at the end of it. It wasn’t that funny but remembering that he was so impulsive when he was younger made him laugh. Of course he still is, but he was a bit more responsible than before.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk,” Wally joked as he eyed the food and then looked back at Raven, “How long do you have to know me before you realize that I’ll eat almost anything. Besides, I’m sure there’s enough. You really out did yourself this time. Everything looks great.” As he commented on the food he remembered something he had been meaning to ask. “Oh, by the way Raven. Who’s coming exactly? Are we going to have people from the other Titans teams coming? Are all the old faces going to be hear? Like Nightwing, Starfire, Wonder Girl, Aqualad and Beast Boy? I haven’t seen any of them in so long it’s unacceptable. And where is everyone anyway? I mean I know I’ve got super speed but is everyone really this slow? Or am I just that fast.”
Wally wondered if Raven had caught on to the emotions he was hiding. Though Wally guessed the question was a normal one to ask an old friend after a long time of not seeing one another. “I’ve been good. So is Flash and Impulse. I haven’t seen much of the old gang in awhile though. Being here again is a bit strange, especially after so long. So this is what it what is feels like to feel old.” Wally moved in the blink of an eye to the television. “This where we all played video games,” he said reminiscing before zipping over to the couch, “And here is where I interrupted Rob- uh ‘Nightwing’ and Starfire on their little date. Good times, good times,” he said chuckling. He had so many memories at Titans Tower and he hoped he could make a lot more.

While working on the tower, Raven had been living here and it hadn't felt right without the emotions of others. The tower needed teenagers within it. “Right back at ya,” The overjoyed emotions from Wally were easy for Raven to detect, this was the kind of emotion that the empath enjoyed, it was like a beautiful climate, one with many benefits. Wally was good at supressing his emotions, Raven could barely sense them and even then it was like a flame that was flickering and hiden in a dark night. The Titan considered asking about the supressed pain but decided it was best left for a later time, for now. Still Raven did worry about letting Wally think that she didn't care and the teenager put a gentle hand on his should and offered a comforting smile before removing her hand. "Thank you for coming." [/b] As Raven brought up the idea of getting the Titans back together, she felt Wally's excitment. She had missed his company, Wally and Beast Boy had often presented some of the best emotions within the Teen Titans. “Really,” Raven listened as Wally spoke about what he knew about the other teams. The empath had been more reclusive and didn't know that much about the other teams that had appeared. It made sense that this other dimension had a team resembling the Justice League. It was like in ecosystems where one was likely to find similar animals playing the same sort of roles. It was a gap that needed to be filled, no matter where you where. The teenager noted how Wally was taking this more seriously than he would have when he was younger and guessed that this had some link to the supressed emotions. A lot had happened since they had last met. “Although I suppose since you’re used to my more fun side I should be saying we need to band together because we can’t let these other dimension heroes out-do us.” That sounded like the younger Wally that Raven knew. "Both points are valid."[/b] The Titan said, finding it hard to keep her delight under control. Feeling emotions were not something that Raven was supposed to do, but it was hard when seeing a good friend after so many years apart. “Tsk, tsk, tsk,” Raven sensed Wally's joking emotion, but she was still worried about the food; her cooking wasn't the best and some could eat quite a lot. “How long do you have to know me before you realize that I’ll eat almost anything. Besides, I’m sure there’s enough. You really out did yourself this time. Everything looks great.” Raven let out a breath and relaxed. She had been really worried about getting everything ready. Hopefully Wally would still have the opinion that he'd eat everything once he'd tried it. Although his words had reassured Raven, the mystic still wasn't certain about her skills in cooking or organising. Or am I just that fast.”"I couldn't find that many. Robin and Static should be coming. Tim, Robin, that is. Two possible new members may also be coming. I couldn't contact anyone else,"[/b] Raven looked down, it wasn't through lack of trying. The teenager did want to see them all again. It was difficult not seeing them, especially Beast Boy, after all Raven had developed feelings for him that were beyond that of friendship. "Hopefully they will make themselves known when we get the Titans back."[/b] Raven said. “I’ve been good. So is Flash and Impulse. I haven’t seen much of the old gang in awhile though. Being here again is a bit strange, especially after so long. So this is what it what is feels like to feel old.”Raven nodded as Wally spoke about how things had been for him. He didn't speak about the painful emotions that were hidden within him and Raven waited a few seconds to see if he would mention this. "Don't worry, you're not old at all."[/b] Raven informed Wally. Suddenly he was at the television. “This where we all played video games,” Before she could speak, Wally was at the couch. “And here is where I interrupted Rob- uh ‘Nightwing’ and Starfire on their little date. Good times, good times,”"Hopefully the games should be up and running."[/b] Raven commented, not trusting her ability to get everything working.[/blockquote][/div] [/style]

[atrb=border,0,true][style=width:260px; height:304px; background-color:silver; padding:20px] With a barely audible thud, Chris landed on the T-shaped building and lingered for a moment, looking over the skyline ahead, before making a final, controlled leap to the ground and folding his wings down. "Come in Costume," Tim had said. It wasn't too long ago that he had invited Darkhawk here to this imposing T-shaped building, to a gathering of the Teen Titans. He had said that it would be good companionship for the budding hero, and would give him a wonderful experience, working on a team. Looking back at that invitation now, Chris realized that the invite had been very generous. Him and Robin were good friends, true, but they barely knew each other. For all they knew the other could be hiding a dark side and really be a villain. But there was an element of trust that came from the fact that the two were so alike. Robin had more experience in these sort of things, too, and Chris instinctively trusted the other teen hero. Christopher had pondered long and hard wether to come. It had been a very hard decision. His encounter with a certain redhead recently had brought into focus how much he was abandoning his family. He couldn't remember a recent time that he had actually sat down with his family and eaten a meal. It nagged at his conscience, told him that he better be there and showing up here at the Teen Titans headquarters was a big mistake. Yet, some little part of him insisted that he should remember what his mom had said- "Your Future is more important than your past or present." This little gathering no doubt had something to do with his future. After all, he wasn't going to get rid of the Darkhawk amulet that easily. Especially since the trip to space, it had started to become clearer to him that this was his burden to bear, and his alone. The wise man had told him, that now that the teenager knew the origin of the amulet, it would be bound to him until its next forseen host came around or Chris died.
The stainless steel and glass doors opened at his push, and instantly Darkhawk was hit with the scent of something yummy, probably a stew, cooking nearby. Two voices caught the attention of his ears at the same time. Making his way toward both the smell and the voices, he emerged into a large living room/lounge type area. “This where we all played video games, and here is where I interrupted Rob- uh ‘Nightwing’ and Starfire on their little date. Good times, good times.” From the way the guy was running around, Chris assumed that this was Wally West, Flash. "Hopefully the games should be up and running." And this must be Raven. She was hooded and cloaked. Just like how Robin had described both of them.
Clearing his throat, Chris stepped farther into the room. "Erm... Hi." Venturing a greeting, he smiled under his mask and tried to sound as friendly as he possibly could given that usually the Darkhawk's voice was very tough-sounding and older than the host inside really was. "Whatever's cooking smells really good." "Chris will speak like this." "Wally will speak like this." "Raven will speak like this." "Others will speak like this."TAGS: Raven :: Wally/Young Flash WORDS: 534 NOTES: Yaay Teen Titans :3 ! OUTFIT: HERE Table layout by BRY, 2012[/style] |

Starfire flew across the shoreline at a leisurely pace, her long, fiery hair whipping behind her in the salty wind. She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the ocean's night air. Ahead was the destination...a familiar building she'd long since left behind. Seeing the 'T' building illuminated once more brought back old memories of times past. Teammates, friends, family....the Titans were one and the same once upon a time. It was going to be very interesting to see how everyone had since evolved and branched out.
Truth be told, she was most looking forward to seeing Raven...though at times, estranged from the group, near the end of the 'Titans', she felt that Raven and her had become very close. It was unfortunate how the team eventually disbanded...everyone taking on solo acts, or different lifestyles. But something bonded them forever...their fervent protection of justice and her moral integrity. She supposed that is why they all showed up today...maybe a part of them all felt unfulfilled in their new lives. Maybe it was time the Titans came back from the shadows of memories.
She brought herself to a gentle landing upon the concrete steps before the main entrance into the building. It sure could use some work on the outside...it had been let go. She tamed her hair and straightened her clothes (what little costume she had reduced to over the years xD) and pushed the door open.
The halls were lit once more, and she could faintly recall the small children running through the halls, laughing and teasing one another. She smiled, shook her head, and pressed the 'up' button in front of the elevator. Even with the wear of the years, the building was still in good shape. Whoever had taken on that task had to have been brave, though, since she clearly remembered the halls smelling of Beast Boy's smelly socks and Cyborg's stinky boots at times.
The soft elevator bell rang, interrupting her trip down memory lane, and opened its doors. She inhaled deeply, then stepped inside, instinctively pressing the floor number of the common room...which they'd always used for meetings, hanging out, and cooking Titan family meals. (Mostly consisting of the usual teenage diet in those days...pizza, tacos, cake, etc.)
Starfire's stomach fluttered a bit, as she was unsure what her teammates would think of her now...she'd been out of the country modeling designer clothes for top fashion moguls, and had a new-found sense of femininity in her body and in the way she dressed. Nothing of Starfire now resembled the girl she once was. Luckily, the fiery hair and orange skin would be easy to identify.
The bell rang once more, and the elevator doors opened to the common room...

Raven could feel it. This was not someone she recognised and so she asumed that it the person Robin had said he had invited. The teenager didn't have to wait long for the newcomer to make his apperance known. As he entered Raven turned her head to look at him. "Erm... Hi." The situation couldn't be easy for him, Raven noted, after all he was turning up at a tower with people he didn't even know. So far there had been no sign of Robin. The voice sounded deeper than a teenager but Raven could hear that the person was trying to sound friendly. "Whatever's cooking smells really good."
Another person seemed to think that the food smelled okay. Unless both Wally and this newcomer were trying to spare her feelings. But Raven could not find anything that suggested this in their emotions. Indigo eyes glanced at the clock, checking the time. In about fifteen minutes she would need to take out the roast. "Thank you, feel free to take anything from the table." [/b] Raven said, gesturing to the table where food was laid out. "My name is Raven. I don't believe Robin told us your name."[/b] The teenager said, her tone emotionless as it so often was. It seemed that people were starting to arrive; Raven could feel a familar presence appear; Starfire. The half demon had tried to contact Starfire but she didn't think that she had suceeded. Raven was grateful that another of the New Teen Titans was coming. "Starfire is coming."[/b] Raven announced, mainly to Wally as he had mentioned her, wondering if she would turn up. Starfire appeared to be nervous, Raven could feel it as the Tamaranian came closer. It was then that the elevator rang and indigo eyes moved to look at the person she knew was Starfire. The other female Titan looked more grown up. Raven herself had not changed too much. After all she had been reborn several years younger by Brother Blood when the Teen Titans had once been brought back together. So while she had aged it was nothing she had not seen. Still, Starfire looked as beautiful as ever. "Starfire, I'm glad that you could make it. I hadn't thought that I'd managed to contact you."[/b] Raven said, flying slightly closer to Starfire and the newcomer. "How have you been keeping? And feel free to take any food."[/b] Raven said, her voice now holding a very subtle hint of emotion. It was hard not to get nostalgic with the Titans coming back together.[/blockquote][/div] [/style]

"Hi, I'm Young Flash," Wally greeted with his usual grin. He didn't know the hero in front of him. Then again, he guessed that there were probably several new heroes from his own dimesion that had popped up sicne his return after his disappearance. He was about to ask the new guys name, but before he could Raven got around to it.
Wally figured the guy was nice enough. Even if he did not know much about him. He seemed a bit awkward the first moment. He had complemented Raven on the food so he had manners. Manners. Wally couldn't believe he took manners into consideration. It made him feel old. What happened to the old rule breaker? Wally felt a feeling of wanting to pull something. A prank or a good joke. But before he got around to that Raven said something.
Starfire? Well, the gang really was getting together and all that. He wondered if everyone would show up. Nightwing. Beast Boy. Cyborg. Aqualad. Wondergirl. They were all Titans. And Titans were family. The Teen Titans had been more like family to him than his own parents had been. His parents weren't too bad. But they were always disapproving and he always felt they didn't like him much, even though they did care for him. It was strange. He didn't exactly have a father-son or mother-son relationship with his parents. In fact, Barry and Iris were more like parents to him. His mind wandered over what Barry had told him. He was proposing to Iris. It made him swell with joy. It gave him a warm feeling that he was getting to it. He had waited long enough.
Wally watched as Starfire walked in. She was beautiful as always. She had grown since he last saw her. Of course, Wally had grown five years in what was a couple months in their world. It felt like he hadn't seen any of them in decades to be honest. Though, that might have just been his perception of the world being a speedster. It really was a pain living in a world were everything around you was so much slower than you. It made even some of the fasted happenings seem painstakingly slow. Wally assumed that was why he seemed so very impulsive sometimes.
"Starfire, beautiful as always," Wally joked appearing next to his old friend after Raven finished speaking. It felt great to be among his old friends. It gave him such a relief. Sometimes he still woke up in a cold sweat in the night and had to speed to Barry's apartment to look in the window and make sure that he really was back. That everyone wasn't dead. It felt . . . reassuring. It was a warm feeling.

[atrb=border,0,true][style=width:260px; height:304px; background-color:silver; padding:20px] They were definitely quick at greeting and easy to approach. This was a good sign, and it boosted Christopher's confidence a bit. He answered their curiosity more boldly. "Nice to meet you, Raven, Young Flash. Robin told me a lot about you guys, but his descriptions don't exactly do the real deal justice." Chris was a little curious to how Raven knew that Robin had been the one that invited him, but figured that either he had told them about him, or she was a bit more of a mystic than Tim had told him. "I'm Darkhawk, well, when I'm in this form at least. But take this armor off and I'm only just,-" He touched his hand to the diamond emblem on his chest, and a flash of light followed, putting him back in the form that he knew he could identify most with them in: his teenager self. "-Christopher Powell, at your service." Now he found himself looking up at Wally. Chris's five foot nine stature seemed to be just a bit diminutive here. How odd it was that the Armor made his height about five inches taller. At first it had felt weird, changing so suddenly like that. It always triggered a bout of vertigo. But eventually he had gotten used to it. Another strange possibility came from the change from taller to shorter, too, that Chris most of the time didn't like to think about, the idea that if someone took the mask off while he was Darkhawk that they wouldn't see Chris's face, but some other being. It was a scary thought, did Chris turn into an alien being every time he turned into Darkhawk?
Chris stepped a little way away from the door to let Starfire into the room. Another person he could look up to- literally. Why was it that nearly every girl he met was taller, or seemed that way because they floated three inches off the floor, like Raven did? Only she seemed to be an exception at this point in time. It got infuriating eventually. There had to be another male hero shorter than himself. Someday, Chris pledged, he would seek that person out and be their partner. Because finding a hero shorter than five foot eight? Was rarer than one would expect. Thinking about height, another thought crossed Chris's mind. To think that Tim and Star had been an item for a little while! The thought was just... odd. While the other heroes went to greet their old comrade, Chris wandered over to the snack table and opened a box of Ritz crackers. Buttery goodness! Seeing some sliced cheese nearby, he took some of that, too, and leaned against one of the couch backs, watching the reunion. This was going to be a great time, Chris could tell already. "Chris will speak like this." "Wally will speak like this." "Raven will speak like this." "Starfire will speak like this." "Others will speak like this."TAGS: Raven :: Wally/Young Flash :: Starfire WORDS: 471 NOTES: N/A~ OUTFIT: HERE Table layout by BRY, 2012[/style] |

A smile lit up her features as she was greeted by a roomful of familiar and new faces. She chuckled lightly at Wally's comment, and paused to greet him. Her smile warmed as Raven spoke to her. She felt moved to embrace her, and did so with gentle ease. It was nice to be back in the Tower...she had been away for far too long.
My apologies, Raven. My journeys have led me far away she looked around the room and sighed with relief.
It is good to be back. she returned her gaze to the dark, cloaked female in front of her. It was rather unexpected that Raven was the one to organize such an event...Starfire didn't remember her this sentimental in their youth. More detached than anything.
Still, Starfire wondered if this was just a nostalgic get-together of reminiscing about the past, or if there was an ulterior reason. There were a few key members of their old group missing, but life had taken them quite different directions, she supposed.
She strode to the counter, smiling and greeting the male with the cheese snack, and poured herself a drink...she wouldn't snuff the feast Raven worked hard on, it would be rude. Returning by Raven's side, she sipped from her drink, then stared curiously at her. She'd grown more beautiful, wise, and controlled. Still, though, she could see the struggle behind those eyes...all those years she missed.
They would have to catch up, one-on-one, sometime soon.
Raven...may I ask if this is an informal event, or if there are reasons behind it? Starfire never had been one to beat around the bush. She was curious, and although she loved seeing their faces, she had to know.

The teenager sensed the emotional climate. One of the things Raven was certain would be important as to keep a good emotional climate. "Nice to meet you, Raven, Young Flash. Robin told me a lot about you guys, but his descriptions don't exactly do the real deal justice." The newcomer had manners and Raven sensed his curiosity. "If you have any questions feel free to ask them." |
[/b] She informed him. "I'm Darkhawk, well, when I'm in this form at least. But take this armor off and I'm only just,-" There was a flash of light and Raven lifted her cloak to shield her eyes from the light before lowering it and looking at the bow who now stood in Darkhawk's place. "-Christopher Powell, at your service.""It is a pleasure to meet you, Christopher. I am glad that you could come. Do you have any news on Tim?"[/b] Raven asked, not surprised that he was late. There was always crime and she had been prepared to wait longer than the time that she had appointed. Turning, Raven went to sit down, gesturing to the others that they may sit. "I've got most of the electrics in this room working, so games should work, although they may be a bit dated. Or, if you want, I know some games that are used to help people get to know each other or understand each other better."[/b] She suggested. In preparation for this, Raven had studied 'Ice breakers' to see if she could learn anything that might be of use. Hence why she knew the games. Getting the Teen Titans back together felt right to Raven and she was going to try her best to make sure it happened. Besides, there was the threat of her increased emotions. Raven wanted to talk to Wally about them, she had known him the longest. But the Titans also needed to be ready in case they needed to take her down. Indigo eyes looked down at her feet as she remembered the darker reason behind this meeting. A slight shift in her emotions and posture before she dispelled these thoughts, almost nervously looking up to see if either of the other two had noticed the change. Now was not the right time to burden them. "Oh, and I'm Rachel Roth under my civilian identity, although you may just call me Raven. That is my birth name."[/b] Raven told Christopher, realising that he had given his superhero name as well as his own. "I'm trying to get back into schooling, part time, anyway. Could either of you recommend somewhere? My last school didn't fare too well."[/b] Raven said. It was the truth, a demon had attacked and Raven had stopped attending because she didn't want to threaten the lives of any other student. Now, even though there was the threat of her emotions and Trigon, she wanted to have some plan... somewhere to study. Education was something that Raven did enjoy and she had never gotten enough of it.[/style] tags:Teen Titans word count: ??? muse: Within Temptation notes: As Starfire has disappeared I guess the thread needs to be continued as if she did not appear. (OOC: I agree, we should go on as if Starfire never arrived)
Wally wasn't too sure about what he was seeing. That Raven and Darkhawk were playing their secret identities and so casually. Then again, the old Wally probably would've showed up in a t-shirt and jeans much less his costume. But things had changed for him. He had seen too much, been through too much and he had lost too much. A secret identity wasn't something you just gave out. Especially to someone you just met, even if they were another hero. But if Raven was willing to share her civilian identity so easily then she had obviously not felt any malice or ill-will in the teenagers emotions. But that didn't mean he couldn't suppress them. If he had been talking to Tim and Tim told him about each of them, he could have mentioned Raven's empathetic abilities. But Tim was second best detective Wally had ever met and was wicked smart. The only better detective he had met was Batman himself and that was through sheer experience. Tim was clearly the better detective in comparison to when Batman would've been his age or at least Wally figured that. If Tim couldn't sniff out anything fishy from Chris, there probably was nothing to worry about. But as smart as Tim was, he was only human and humans make mistakes.
That wasn't the only thing he was worried about either. If he took off his mask Raven could see he had aged abnormally. Sure being a speed force conduit slowed his aging process as well as his loved ones, but he had been living in the other dimension for five years. He had raised two kids, had a wife, became a prized member of the Justice League all in that dimension. One might even suggest he was better off in the other dimension. Until the tragic end it all seemed to go his way. If he took off his mask he'd be showing Raven that he had been gone a lot longer than the time difference was between their last meeting. Raven had known almost longer than any other Titan and certainly longer than those that were coming. Wally was one of the original Teen Titans, before even Raven joined. He was one of the founding members, the others having been Aqualad and Robin. Course, Wondergirl became one of them practically days later so he usually included her. But Raven would know his slow aging process better than the others. It wouldn't be hard to tell for her. But he couldn't not do it. Not when the others were. He had to this time.
So Wally pulled back his mask which was attached to his costume and hung like a hood against the back of his costume. "Wally West," he said with a smirk. He had sharp angular features with a slightly broad chin. He had flaming red hair that was cut short. It was unkempt and ruffled from his hood though it seemed more casual than bed-headed in Wally's opinion. Much like Raven, Wally had expected Tim to run a bit late. After all, he was a Gotham City hero. Gotham was one of if not the most crime ridden city in America, even with Batman and Robin. He was a busy guy. Though he guessed that Batman could handle himself for a couple hours without his sidekick, birdboy. Besides, he had other means of help. There was Batgirl. Let's not forget Oracle. Catwoman wasn't much of a villain anymore. There were plenty that could fill in for him during his hiatus.
"Well, the second one sounds fun," Wally said, "I wonder how much I really know about you Raven," Wally joked. He thought he knew Raven pretty dwell. She was like family. All the Teen Titans were. It was hard not to become that way when you live the life of a hero. Fighting everyday, sometimes even saving the world. There was always that unspoken, yet understood feeling that the next day any one of them might be gone for good. When you had that in common and fought arm in arm, it wasn't possible, in Wally's opinion, to not feel something for your allies. "School, huh? Like College or are you planning to go back to high school?" Wally joked again. "Well, it kind of depends on what you want to study I guess. There are vocational schools where you could learn some handy stuff along with all the regular school work." Wally wasn't too sure about Raven going back to school. After all, it could prove to be a danger. To herself and to the other students. The easier it was for a hero to track and predict the easier it was for villains to get to them. Having a set schedule made your actions and whereabouts predictable throughout the day. Which also meant anyone around was in danger as well. Not to mention you wouldn't be able to use your powers without giving away your identity. So you'd be in a real pickle there. Unless you were like Tim and could simply kick their butts or you were like Wally and could move so fast noone would even realize he had moved.

Of course most of the Teen Titans had know she was HIV positive but other's on the team had not. After all Mia was still speedy even if she had to beg Oliver or Green Arrow to let her be his side kick, though the terms were simple join the Teen Titains and she would be an Arrow. Mia did take it. She was made to face Robin to prove she would be a Titan by Cyborg, though the girl did lose the match she proved her self to them.
Mia sighed as she had a voicemail on her cell phone stating that they were egttoing toghther at the tower, food and all. Costumes and all. Though she wondered why she could not just wear jeans and a tight shirt with her leather jacket. It was perfect weather for a motorcycle ride to say the least. The young woman who was nineteen now ran a comb threw her soft long blonde wavy hair before dressing in her costum putting hjer mask on and pulling her hood up and over ehr hair as she grabbed her arrows and bow before grabbing the keys to her Yellow and red R1 Yamaha. A pretty goiod bike to say the least. She did not plan on eatting when they did, just watching from the shadows until her loud mouth would decide to do its bidding.
Mia was intrested in batgirl after alla nd wondered if she would be joining them. though she really did want to know she would easily contact Robin and find out more on the new addidtion to the Bat's. Mia was more instrested in finding Roy at the minute than going to see the team one of them that she belonged to. After all a tarining day with Queen was fun and all, but Roy was a bit more fun when it came to training and shooting arrows.
After all he had given ehr his old set of arrows. Mia sighed ashse walked outside and climbed on her bike not bothering to put the helment on as it sat trapped to the seat behind her as she turned of the bike and choed ot for a few minuted before turning the choke off as she took off out of the alley way it was hidden in at high speeds letting the wind and air hit her face as she headed to the tower. Mia's mind was all over in her thoughs as she came up to the large T tower she slowed down ebfire parking her bike outside it.
Mia walked inside holding the keys to her bike in her left hand as she headed toward the elevator before heading up. Once the doors opened she walked in the room looking at everyone before placing her keys in her pocket as she pulled her hood down and her mask off letting her blond wavy hair run free as she watched them all before looking at Raven, then Wally, then The other one she did not seem to know. " No Robin?" she asked a bit with some sassyness in her tone of voice before sighing as she looked around watching them, deciding on who she wanted to talk to first or if she wanted to talk at all.

Kara was existed. She had overheard the justice league talking about this teen titan’s super teen group and how they were forming she couldn’t help but read over the information given. She knew that she was never part of the original team but maybe they would still accept her. Kara changed in to her white costume and flew out of the hovering Justice League main base and towards the earth. Kara flew through the atmosphere and down to the huge tower; it was in the shape of a huge T. Kara stood outside the door. She was a stranger outside of a strange build filled with teenagers she didn’t know, and from their view she thought I’m a strange girl standing outside of their home a nervous unfamiliar girl. Kara sighed but still couldn’t bring herself to go inside after all she really wasn’t invited she kind of just showed up hoping for someone to accept her.
Kara looked up at the T and began Pacing outside. Kara felt as if she was being stupid for just standing outside. She stepped in to the building and was already lost. Kara began to look for the room where she could hear the voices talking. Kara used her X-ray vision to help find the room, just as Kara believe she found the room she went to walk though what she thought was a door and hit a wall instead. Kara let out a little “ow” as she rubbed her head. By know she knew she would have at least made someone know she was trespassing.
