Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

across the universe, images of broken light, which dance before me like a million eyes. they call me on and on across the universe. thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box, they tumble blindly as they make their way.... nothing's gonna change my world, Steve was becoming rather agitated by Loki's presence here at the mansion, but he decided to calm himself down and think clearly on this situation. The Avengers needed a leader more than ever before right now, and Steve was determined to get back to being that great leader he's known for. You see, Steve honestly didn't know the exact location of the scepter. The only person who truly knew where it was located was Nick Fury, although Steve definitely knew that it wasn't on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier. Nick was probably keeping it at a highly secret location, therefore no one could find it, not even Loki.
Steve didn't like Nick hiding the scepter and not informing his agents on it's exact whereabouts, but his justifications were necessary to keep Loki away from it. Not to mention that Steve had no clue on what Tony had informed Loki on during their meeting, but he was eager to find out from Tony himself, because this situation felt like Loki was planning another invasion or some sort of aggression toward us. There was a funny feeling in the pit of Steve's stomach, a feeling of instinct that Loki was about to cause more trouble for S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Avengers, but Steve was ready for a battle if it came down to that. Steve fought proudly for the greater good, he always has, and he fought against evildoers like Loki for the people and the world with freedom, so he wasn't going to allow Loki to cause havoc once again - not this time.
"None of us know it's exact location. Not me, the others, or you. Whatever Tony has informed you on, well I plan on having a very long conversation with him immediately. Only Nick knows where it is, but I can guarantee you that he knows you're already looking for it, that's why it was hidden in the first place. I may not know where it's at, but I know Nick well enough to know that he most likely has it hidden in a place that you'll never find," Steve informed Loki directly. There was no trickery in Steve's voice, because he was speaking the truth.
As soon as Loki leaves, if and when he does leave, well Steve was going to be the first one to confront Tony and Nick on this matter at hand. Steve seen Katherine arrive, but he kept his eyes locked on Loki with caution. His leader mentality was shining threw, as Steve kept a close watch on everyone and his surroundings. He was being smart about this, after all, Loki was nothing more than a bully, but a smart one. tag || NAME || words || # # # || outfit || click ! notes || hello. these are notes |

Bruce didn’t like this, there were too many people around and in a volatile situation like this where they were in a hall way of all things they wouldn’t really be able to fight at all. If a fight broke out he would think that they would be at a disadvantage despite the fact that they had three very capable agents for SHIELD in Danii, Steve and Clint as well as himself but he would more than likely use the hulk rather than a gun but he didn’t want to damage the infrastructure of the home just so that he could fight Loki. When Loki talked of meeting with Stark he had to admit that it bothered him but not for a normal reason as many would, the fact that Loki and Stark could have talked would have been a normal thing but it was more the fact that a fight didn’t stem from it.
After all Tony didn’t seem to have been the most patient or of calm people when he had been working with him, the fact that he had tried to turn Bruce into the hulk and he had tried to convince Steve that Fury couldn’t be trusted he doubted that he would take kindly to Thor’s adopted brother dropping in for a coffee and a chinwag about the stick. Looking over he saw Katherine join the group and whilst he hadn’t talked to her a lot he had to admit he agreed with the concenus that she was an amazing ally for them to have due to her brains and abilities but the fact that this was going to hell quickly he didn’t think right now that it was a good thing that she was in the room.
”If we really had the sceptre did you think that it would be that easy to take Loki? You underestimated us ones before and it caused you to be detained and carted back up to Asgard by Thor after we beat you soundly.” he said calmly ”then you return looking for the object of your power and when you come here you find that there is half of the team that put a stop to your army the last time that you were on earth, I think you need to give us more credit, we might not be Asgardians but we are more than capable of defending our home world when needed, leave and forget about the sceptre it might work out better for you.”
"Talk like this."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] YOU WILL RISK ALL THEIR LIVES AND THEIR SOULS The Words: 500 The Outfit: click The Notes none Kate let her arms move casually across her chest. She felt rather awkward standing before a room of people in her ex-boyfriend’s boxers and a tank top. Granted, it shouldn’t have been the thing that first dwelled in her head, but, she was only human – or mostly human. There was an intensity about the house as everyone’s eyes seemed to dart around unsure of what to do. It was obvious that no one really wanted to fight – there was no need. But, what else were they going to do? Kate had heard the stories, seen the news, and read the SHIELD reports. She understood the threat that Loki posed in this moment and in the ones that would follow. He wasn’t a man …urh… god to be trifled with.
He spoke of a scepter, a vehicle of power that the Avengers and SHIELD agents alike seemed weary of. She had to admit that she was curious about it. It must be of great power to warrant Loki’s presence in the house. Steve Rogers was a tall, stalwart man, with a good head on his broad shoulders. However, she worried that his mention of Nick Fury would send Loki after the man. Bruce Banner was on edge, although he managed a calm tone, as he attempted to talk the god down. Kate had a feeling that this wasn’t going to work.
Kate could feel the tension mounting. Her hands fell to her side as she contemplated what to do. She wasn’t an Avenger, hell, she wasn’t an X-Man anymore but, she knew she could help. Kate was intangible and so long as her head was clear she might be able to halt some of the violence. Although she was small, and rather young, she wasn’t helpless. Shadowcat had been on more than her fair share of dangerous missions and survived; she wasn’t going down easily.
“Why don’t we all calm down?” She stepped downward one stair. Kate wasn’t going to lie the last thing she wanted to do in this situation was to have things escalate. She’d seen the Hulk in action; she didn’t desire to see that tonight. Then again, having the beast emerge might just be the push they needed to get Loki out of the house. |
