She frowned deeply as she listened to him tell his story, a sense of slight pity flooding her for this man; well alien. She smiled when he asked of her scars, a wily twinkle filling her eyes. "I like to keep them hidden. There have been few men besides a doctor who can count themselves lucky enough to see my scars." she stated with a smirk, stretching out as she sat.
"Perhaps, if you were nice enough.. I might let you get a glimpse of them." She chuckled, clearly teasing with him as she stood and took a look at her watch. They were running out of time, and if they didn't go back soon her men would start hunting her. She turned and gave him a little bit of a sad smile. Daisy hated to end this so soon, when she had just gotten used to this being before her.
"I need to be going, Thaal. I enjoyed the brief moment we got to talk. Perhaps.. We shall meet again?" she inquired a little timidly, not too enthused about putting herself out on a limb. Like this, she was setting herself up for him to snap what little trust she had in him; however, it was probably the only way to meet him again. "I mean.. If something really horrid happens it will be inevitable."

He like the idea getting to know her a bit more. It seemed like she had many things to tell him about, and he actually had an interest to listen. Maybe it was the fact that she wasn’t a normal human, or maybe it was just because he had gotten so soft and squishy from his time on the planet. Whatever the case, he didn’t find himself desperate to get away from her, as he usually did after speaking to some of the humans in the area. There had been one mutant he had been eager to get away from after learning a bit more about her, though he almost hoped the same thing wouldn’t happen with this one.
He wanted to see those scars.
She needed to get back- he remembered what she had told her men. Perhaps it hadn’t been meant to be a very long chat with one another, but that was alright. He had gotten at least a small amount of information about Shield, and he had more research he could do on his own. He didn’t need to pry her for more information regarding her work, anyway.
“Alright, I’ll take you back, then,” he told her, letting his ring cast another glow around her as he carefully got himself back to his feet. He floated into the air, and he pulled her up with him, careful not to make the experience too jarring. While she seemed to like being airborne, he imagined doing things he was used to, but she was new to, might produce reactions in her stomach he would not be pleased to see.
“Yes,” he chuckled as he flew her back to where her men were eagerly awaiting her, “I suppose we do have a decent means of meeting one another again. Being in the same line of work often means crossing paths more than once. But I think I would prefer a more… casual meeting, if you are interested. Perhaps we can meet up and do something without work calling you back so soon.” He landed her back on the ground, keeping himself in the air so he could look down at her without putting pressure on his leg again.
“I’ll see you again, Daisy- I hope you don’t forget about me until then.” He nodded at her and got himself higher in the sky, keeping his eyes on her a moment longer before turning and heading off like a bullet.
He thought about their encounter the whole way back to his base.
