Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Loki did nothing but pace the length of the cell, the chains of Asgardian steel that linked across his wrists attached to equally strong cuffs. they rattled lightly as he paced the dark space he was to call his.
There were no Einherjar posted, not a soul around. As it would provide an able point for a possible escape. Anything that could be manipulated by the trickster was removed from the area.
There was no light, no fire lit In the pathways. As he could easily, use the element to his advantage. Along with any living thing in his presence. Loki was a snake, evil, twisted, willing to strike where need be when cornered. An he was for the most part cornered. Though this was not his first time trapped, nor technically the second.
This first escape had not been by his own hands, but by those who remained of the race that nearly became extinct as of the result of the avengers actions. Of the planned to fail attack. The lose of the Scepter was not.
It never was and yet again here he was in the same position as before. The Cube so close and no way to reach it. Would this be a repeat of the last time. Not only the cube but the gauntlet as well. An yet with out the scepter, it was but a taunt.
Loki merely watched his shadow that was created by the light that filtered through the smallest of openings. His abilities were nullified. He paused for a moment in his pacing, drawing the length of the chain taught in front of him.
He watched the silver length pull giving no space further then it did the first time. He was not one of the others, not one of the brutes of either race. There would never be the strength needed, ever.
He growled lowly at his shadow that lingered in the hall. It had its freedom, yet it chose to linger in mocking proximity. He was alone with himself, his thoughts and nothing more.
Loki had not known how ling he had been here since the ball, since Thor felt the need to beat him until there was nothing there to fight back. His entire body ached, but it was nothing but a reminder.
Failure. It ran hand in hand with lies, chaos and evil.

The sound of light foot steps had roused him from the pit of self criticism. He'd been cursing the shadow he held, in its mocking freedom. Though someone was coming, Loki looked up from the length of chain and let his hands fall to his sides. What was the point in coming, of course there was limited people allowed. He continued to watch his shadow before the sudden light broke through the darkness.
Loki looked up towards the figure that stood, a look of hate still lingered upon his face. Regardless that he was looking into the face of his adoptive mother. Did she expect a warm welcome from him? If so then she would be sorely mistaken. There was nothing positive about this situation, for him or any one involved. Certainly not her. Of course it could have been ended if he had not tread such a dark path. Though what was to be expected of him.
He did not feel sorry for his actions. None of them, only the actions of those around him that shaped Loki into what he was now. "Why did you even bother in coming here. We both know that you do not wish to see me like this. " There was no point in sugar coating it. The separation was easier for him. Though his voice conveyed not a single ounce of kindness, there was none left to give.
If anything he could manipulate the situation, anything was worth a shot to get closer to the Tesseract. The cube was so close, yet within a muted cell he could do nothing with the power that crept to the darkness.
Older tactics were needed, or out side assistance. Something of the nature would work. Though he would rather not the assistance be of the Chitauri. There were still lingering scars from such a past endeavor. It was only a matter of time before they would discover again the he was imprisoned. It was within that time frame Loki had to find a way out on his own.

Yes, he was favored behind his brother by Asgard, but never her. He was equal and no tint of skin or difference of species would mar her in racism or prejudice. She despised that there was such a prejudice between them. Both had sprung from the same darkness from the same beginnings. Frigga was a goddess of understanding. One who been given to accord peace. He bore no words of ill respect for her, and possibly never would. That was the one fragment of him that had not twisted quite so far yet. Though his expression never faltered past the cold default that it held now. If she had not come to expect this from him. After the last time. There was nothing to show other wise. He was set in his ways.
He never really understood why she felt the need to blame her self. As where others who needed to own up to their mistakes were no where to be found. Of course, this was all at the rule of another. Her words only echoed his own. If it hurt her to see him like this then why did she continue to linger. If it Pains you so much then why are you here? What purpose does it serve?"He partially growled out. Viewing everything as a bit of torment.
The smile, her good nature. It was almost patronizing to him. Loki shook his head and continued to to cut a path across the length of the cell. What was there that could be said, regardless of the situation his plans would remain "So is this where I am remain for the rest of eternity? "

"Thrice? Thrice?!" His rage built quickly. He had never once laid a had towards the downfall of Asgard. "I have not once laid plot against this realm, To speak of such, to decided that I have is but a lie. Thor cast me into an Oblivion of crushing darkness.
Those who found me granted me a purpose renewed And it was not against Asgard I fought. It was Thor's choice to bring himself into that fray." His anger was quickly dispelled as his voice dripped malice and malcontent before it faded into a laugh that was bitter.
"You all mourned me, Never searched, not even as I laid upon that jagged rock of a world I awoke on. Was there comfort in knowing that I may have been dead?"
It seemed as though in all of a matter of a moment, everything that he wished to say the first time escaped his lips. As where he had arrived muzzled and remained so until the Chitauri came for him.
Loki turned his head to the side sharply, causing the bones to pop and creak from the release of strained muscles. Loki's pace quickened as his emotions rose yet again. His voice Dipping to dangerous lows.
"Ne'er a move made until I made mine. After I was so graciously given a renewed purpose. Was Doing what they could not, enough for him? Did I not defend him as Laufey was attempting assassination? It was never Enough!" Loki's hands snatched hold of the bars quickly for a moment as his malevolence peaked.
He let his long pale fingers slip from the metal before walking back away from the light, and away from his Adoptive mother. "Nothing was enough, Even as he saw fit to leave me in the humiliation of a muzzle and in chains. An would brand me a traitor to save his own reputation.
Yet no one has the eyes to see that all of this can be laid at his feet. As this gilded Realm loves a liar and rejects another. Hypocrisy. And I will enjoy every moment of my Vengeance, Even if it kills me. "
Regardless of the matter. If they did not see fit to kill him, but keep him here, the others would come for him. Torment him as they had before, the last time, and send him back to finish what he had started with a painful reminder etched in flesh as scars in faint blue.
"They have made my Sons Monsters, My daughter, I have not seen and you speak of Hel. I am already there. "

I never knew daylight could be so violent
A revelation in the light of day - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Frigga spoke firmly. “I know your f—Odin has done to you. And I know and feel every day that you were punished for something beyond your control, children cast away. No parent should endure that, to have their children snatched away.” She shook her head. “I am not blaming you, Loki.” This time it was her that slipped her fingers through the bars to loosely clutch them at first. “I cannot blame you, you are right, and far be it from me to ever explain why Odin did all he did. I am certain he thought it was for the best, but…we all can be misguided.” She let go of the bars and sank away as well, though just away from the proximity of the bars. She still stood and watched as her son paced endlessly, uncertain what to say. It was true that he had betrayed Asgard thrice. His actions had spurned Thor to cause war, he’d manipulated his brother and then he had continued, almost having Laufey assassinate Odin, which she knew was merely a plot to gain favor again and kill the father who had abandoned him first and then he’d waged horrible war on the planet his brother protected. “Thor brought himself into the fray to retrieve you,” Frigga told him. “I told him to then. I made your father use dark magic. I wanted my son back.” Her voice was now shorter, but not too stern. “To see you returned in chains was not my wish, however, but…of that there was nothing I could do. And yes, I did wish you dead, not cruelly…but because at least I could imagine that you had found some ease, but in heart I knew it would not be. You are destined to live a very, very long time…I have seen it.” She turned. “But I did search for you, Loki.”Her eyes went to run down the length of the corridor of cells. “I asked Heimdall every day if he saw you, but he always told me no.” She slid them back to Loki. “I always knew he was lying.”[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - You can't choose what stays and what fades away loki, thor WORDCOUNT359 SONGno light, no light by florence + the machine CREDITerin aka lowearthorbit @ caution

Loki let out a most terrible laugh, at her words, not blaming him? Of course not. It was but another ridiculous lie, he rolled his eyes. Then Tell me why, Justify his actions, If you do not blame me then who?" He growled out lowly. Every ounce of malice seeping into his voice. No one could tell him the reasoning behind it. Or rather make him understand.
If he could have heated the bars in spite he would have, just on principle. Nothing could redeem any of them on what they had done to his children. "I would say go explain to My children why they were taken from their father. But you cannot speak reason to A wolf, A snake and only the dead can see Hela." There was nothing but spite now.
Only an explanation for Thor's actions. It was a grand thing that they were separated by bars and he weakened by crushing spells draining him of what his body would build back up only to be drained again. "Merely excuses, thats all I ever here any more, No better then lies" Not a one of them thought that maybe he never wanted back.
"Heimdall Did not Lie. He could not see me, as no one could contact me. Not that for a while I was not hoping for someone to find me. Those things that found me, upon there desolate rock saw fit to make me what Odin never would. And now I am bound to them. To be so close to what I need, and never able to reach it is torment." His voice was slightly desperate.
Drawing from the cube only to have it ripped away. It was toying with his warped mind. Much as it had before. His eyes flickered back and forth in color, Green to a brilliant blue then back to green. He could feel a surge burst from the cube before it came. It was that corruption that caused his next action.
He focused what he could through his arm, feeling the Tesseract power in his veins like liquid fire. It was only a fraction of a second away from discharging from his fingers as he whipped his left arm forward towards Frigga like a snake striking.
But It was drained before it cracked through the air. The searing pain that followed was immense. Enough to bring Loki to his knees. It was right there, So close. Just like the approval he would never had from Odin. An never will have. Not any more. Loki Looked up with slight blueish eyes. "They will free me as they did before. With power that can even avoid the eye of the All-father. "

A revelation in the light of day - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She spoke evenly. “They require something of you, they will make sure you deliver on it. They cannot throw their only chance to gain something. That would be a foolish move, but in the meantime in order to achieve that, they will cast you to the enemy just as you believe that Odin did.” She linked her hands in front of her and stepped forward to the cell face again. Her heart hurt for the pained figure of her son, the way they had drained his power, despite knowing its necessity. “Asgard will never hold you permanently, no matter my attempts I fear. I do not blame you because I blame exactly who you do. I cannot justify his actions because I do not understand them. I once thought I did, his reasonings for not telling you of your origins. But taking your children, punishing you more severely than Thor would ever hope to be, that I do not understand. Nor do I think I ever will. I blame Odin and a vast majority of Asgard for being ignorant. I may be their queen, but I am not blinded…they were not always my people either.”Her features softened. “Perhaps I do make excuses no better than any of us, but I am doomed to know the past and future of a realm, its glories and defeats: the light and shadow. Excuses? Maybe, but I merely wish to understand.”She sighed softly. “Asgard began your suffering, but you have chosen this path. I blame us all for it, for a heart fed only bitterness and lies can only know that. If I could have changed any of it I would have, and Loki,” she leaned against the bars, “you know that is not a lie. Power will not heal what we have done, it will only drive the pain in further. The road of power is flooded with blood and tainted by the cruelest loneliness.” She swallowed in discomfort.[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you can't choose what stays and what fades away loki, thor WORDCOUNT527 SONGno light, no light by florence + the machine CREDITerin aka lowearthorbit @ caution

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
Of course, she hadn't flinched, she wouldn't have ever. Loki continued to watch her through the bars. no one really had a clue of what they had done to him the first time. How they then held him captive, going from one cage to another. Only to be tormented ruthlessly and sent back on his way. "I was not cast to the enemy, but stolen by them as a pawn for his own plans at failed peace by his own true son. "
He had been but raised by his kinds natural enemy and that made him even more lethal. To both races, to all races. Loki lifted his strained form off the flooring of the cell. It was almost painful to stand at this point.
Loki was embracing that natural wicked nature. For the first time everything felt right, not an ill fit form or forced mold.
What did she say? What did she just say? No matter her attempts? His fingers drew into tight fists at his side. He should have known, Trust no one. He had not twisted her words. She had said it, right then and there. How could Loki not have seen this coming. Ah yes, that small ounce of hope that still lingered now shattered. Nothing mattered to him here any more. Not a damned thing. "And Was this attempt your as well of the last? Will the next be of your thoughts as well?" His voice was low, dripping hate and confusion.
"It was never my choice, I was forced into this. The day Odin let me fall from the broken edges of the bridge with the simple words of No. It was a his response to my actions. Everything I had done Was for all of us. An Now Look at the choice he made, Are you Happy with the results?" He growled out again.
"Is it? You have all lied to me. Why Stop? " arguing with a mad man was like arguing with a brick wall. Every word would beget another twisted view of it. Though not now. His logic had never been clearer.
He would try again, this time acting faster then before. His hand stretching out again. Only an arch of blue crossed from his thumb to his out stretched finger. He was told that He would not be able to use his abilities. Every instance before had left him in an excruciating amount of pain. His actions were but the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over, only to expect a different result.
This time had.
Though the pain that followed was only worse. It was like having every vein ripped from his arm and fingers. It was worse then what the Chitauri had done. Loki opened his eyes to see only the unforgiving floor of the cell, at least he managed to catch himself with this hands.
Loki began to laugh. "It is only a matter of time. The cube calls to its master. Its power is stronger then any dark magic any Asgardian can muster. I may not be able to use my own. But the cube's It is working, It will find a loop. It will exploit the one weakness and free me. And when it does."
"Nothing on Asgard will Stop me from taking it back. I will tear this realm apart. Because I simply Can" Each word that dripped from his tongue was his own bur from a mind set that was not. His blue eyes glared vibrantly back at Frigga's own. Except Loki's were anything but natural.
She was right, power corrupted, but absolute power was a whole lot of fun. Loki cared not for the corruption that had befallen him, that he was no longer himself. Instead it had been replaced with a razor focus to retrieve the scepter. However he had by passed that by allowing Thor to being him right to the source of the Scepters power. It was like poison in his veins. It had changed Loki's mischievous ways to pure evil in his path.
Thor had made a mistake, bringing him so close to the Cube with out the scepter. There was no filter, nothing to intercept the overwhelming power of the cosmic cube. No control, just destructive force. A horrible, unstoppable mistake. An he knew just where they hid the artifacts. All the back entrances, the paths between worlds. Every back alley and secret door of the palace.
The only possible thing on their side, was that Loki's rage was blinding. He was by his very nature self destructive, Granted he would cut down only those that stood in his way. Escape was his forethought. If they could not stop him from leaving, Asgard would be safe. Midgard was not. Loki knew that Thor would do anything to protect it, and that Odin and Frigga would aid Thor.
It was time for everyone to meet the very monster that Odin saw fit to hand craft. Well Thats how Loki viewed it.

I never knew daylight could be so violent
A revelation in the light of day - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She was ignorant of what had been done to him the first time, they had kept her away then. But cruelty, only bred more and she knew that this was just a product. His hate had continued to grow and she knew argue as she did, there was probably little she could do. That’s what her mind told her. She was listening more with her heart. Her heart trembled watching Loki pull himself back to his feet from where the magic that imprisoned him and his powers had bowed him to the floor. She could see in the movements of his body, not the expressions of his face that it was no easy task to recover from it and yet she was proud of him. What she was not proud of was what he had become. Yet, this was him, was it not? His birthright? But it was not one Frigga had wanted to see come to fruition. That was what she had meant when she had spoken of her attempts. Her attempts to get him to stay to listen. She didn’t want him punished. She wanted harmony again, but her child was the God of Chaos. She had been speaking in stream of conscious. So she watched him stiffen in confusion, which only grew as he spoke. Her puzzlement was honest. “What are you talking about? I had nothing to do with your capture beyond asking Thor, begging him to bring my other son back. You think I wish cruelty? That is a foolish thought! I wanted you back. I wanted my son back, that has been my attempts. To stop you from being harmed! Though, I seem to fail at that!” She told him, her voice finally cracking as his seemed to tear into the air with malice “No, I am not happy with the results! Does my face denote joy? Do I look like I enjoy this?! Lied to you? I have never lied to you! Where are you getting this from?” She did feel like she was arguing with a brick wall. She hadn’t expected it to be easy, however, and would have been foolish to have thought that. She just braced herself, expression hard as once again he raised his hands to attack. She knew it wouldn’t work, but she watched as power connected his fingers. She knew what would happen, the pain he would be in, but if he wanted to tempt it, that was his choice. He was insane, and though she loved him no less, she knew he was a danger. To himself, to the whole of the nine realms. He had been raised for this purpose and Asgard had no one to blame but themselves. She didn’t move when he was again felled, though she was glad he had managed to catch himself, but her form quivered at his laugh. His words offered her no solace either. She knew it was only a matter of time. Soon enough he would be free, no matter anyone’s attempts to stop him. He would always free himself. Whether he would regain the Cube…Frigga knew it to be a large possibility. She met his blue eyes, those eerie irises that seemed to illuminate through the darkness. He was corrupted. He was tainted. He was now a harbinger of pure evil. She could see such awareness and clarity. He saw nothing wrong with it. Love him? Without a doubt, but she would not stand by and let him destroy her home. Her people had poisoned her son, but he was wrong. He’d always had a choice. He didn’t have to choose this path, but he had. He had chosen it, just as had been predicted. Frigga oftened wondered who was more to blame and how much she could blame her son. He had tried to be what Odin wanted. And had been spurned. What a monster they had created indeed and Frigga knew it was just the beginning. He would be free soon enough. And what happened then… She did not know yet. She wasn’t certain she wanted to.[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you can't choose what stays and what fades away loki, thor WORDCOUNT740 SONGno light, no light by florence + the machine CREDITerin aka lowearthorbit @ caution

The God of Thunder
|

Post by Thor Odinson on Nov 4, 2012 16:28:58 GMT -5
So you would take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights - - The God of Thunder[style=margin-top: -10px; margin-right: -10px; border: #fff 1px dashed; padding: 5px; overflow: auto; width: 360px; height: 200px; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 9px; line-height: 15px; background-color: #0F0F0F; color:#8E8A8E;filter: alpha(opacity=50); -moz-opacity: .50; opacity:.50;]
Thor allowed an appropriate time to pass for Frigga to speak with Loki. He knew she had taken Loki's fall from grace harder than any of them. Many Asgardians were not surprised, claiming some foresight on their part, but none could have seen it clearer than the Allmother. Through her weavings, she had to painfully watch as her son fell into madness. Thor himself was hesitant to approach Loki in his cell. His brother's mind had been warped. In many respects, Loki was not his brother anymore, but Thor clung to that memory, stubbornly refused to let it die. They were brothers and nothing could change that.
There were two memories recycling in his mind while he paced in the Vault. Memories burned so vividly in his skull, that he cycled through them looking for clues towards the truth and reality of the present. How could he not have known? Was he so blinded by love that Thor could not piece the deception earlier? And yet, all of this anger he could only direct at himself. Yes, Odin his father played a part in it, but Thor must have done something, or not have done something, some course of action that could have prevented all of this. Sif had even told him, Loki had always been jealous of Thor, so it was impossible for him to not feel at the very least partially responsible for the events that played into this day.
The first memory was one from childhood, when Loki had still called him brother. Loki, torn over Odin's fallen form once Algrim had betrayed them, and consequently unleashing his pain towards the dark elf. There was that same madness in his eyes. He had seen it even then, but it had also been born out of love. Love for their father. Was it so easy to toss that aside? Can love be so easily tainted?
The second weighed upon his heart heavily. Loki had let go. He let go and allowed himself to fall into the abyss. Thor and Odin did not speak of that moment, but it haunted them both, he could tell.
The relics in the room gathered around him, displayed like trophies and held in reverent silence, but the greatest of Odin's treasures was not in this room with the others. Thor's thoughts were broken by the low hum of the Tesserect. Damn that thing, he cursed. He had not accounted for the cube. Somehow, it had awakened, which could only mean Loki. Perhaps bringing him here held direr consequences than he knew, but Thor would deal with them when they came. He had brought Loki here upon his mother's pleas, and for heeding his mother's words he would not regret. Thor had faith in his strength and the might of Asgard. Surely, any threat Loki would try to pose here would be foolish and extinguished readily.
Leaning one last glance at the Tesserect, Thor turned to exit the vault, his cape falling behind him and draped over the cube. It was a petty thing to do, but Thor could not bear to look at it any longer. He did not seen it last as he turned the corner and towards to dungeons, but the bright blue glow still dully shone through his red cape.
Thor entered the dark room to expectedly find Frigga and Loki, but always the expected was matched with a more terrible reality. Loki was crouched upon the floor and Frigga was firm. Thor swallowed hard at the knot in his throat, bidding it leave him and allow him to speak. His blue eyes hardened, preemptively and protectively, ready for the exchange of words to follow. Too long had this reunion waited. Too long had Loki been away from Asgard. Too long Thor had been inside of the vault, counting the seconds, but he was here now, and this meeting could wait no longer.
He spoke, breaking whatever silence that entered with him, "Mother, Brother.." he began, addressing them each before he tried for more words. Thor stood beside Frigga, taking his place next to her, for whatever support she would require of him, and mostly for the support he needed from her. Neither Loki nor Thor was born from Frigga, this fact they shared, but she was still their mother, she loved them and raised them, and their true heritage would not change that fact in his eyes. "Know that.. Know that I am sorry," it seemed pathetic to say, but those words were his truth, and unlike Loki, Thor did not deal in lies. "Know that if I could change the stars to erase this day and more, I would. This and more, I promise."
"But Blood of my blood, what have you done?" there, his commonly strong voice faltered, softening if only slightly. Thor needed to clarify; they all cared for their fallen son deeply. Love was not in absence.
He would greet him, not as a prince or king of Asgard, but as his brother. This was not about politics or punishment; this was brotherhood and family. The ties that bind, couldn't they create new ones? Weave them into tapestries and chart new faytes.
No, Loki was not his blood, but there was more to it than that, focused upon a grander concept. Bloodshed in battle, in kinship, in love and hate- blood that he would bleed for, die for, vouch for even in the darkest of nights when all hope seemed to be but dust. The blood between two brothers that went unspoken, tied by fate and drowned in so much red. Blood could be more than shared ancestry.
Loki could be more.. and Thor would bleed dry for that dream, poisonous as it was, marred and unfocused, rusted and broken. He would bleed. Blood of his blood.

[atrb=border,0,true] Hela [style=width:450; height:300; padding:25; text-align:justify; font-family:verdana; font-size:10px; color:white; overflow:auto] Things couldn't just walk into the vault anymore. People didn't often just appear in here. Luckily, there was one thing that could slip in. The cold, silent mists of death. Hela rarely got the chance to have any sort of grandeur so she took the moment to relish it. The wall behind her grandmother and uncle began to waver and an ice cold air blew through the hall. Wearing all her Asgardian garb, a woman walked through a river of blackness and blood, skulls littering the ground.
The figure walking was a woman, lean and tall, her face covered by a black mask and grace of shadow, eyes glowing in a mixture of green and white. Her helm resembled the curves of her father's yet somehow were more malevolent. Her long hair flowed from under the helm behind her, bright green cloak floating lightly on the air. In the background of the scene a huge red wolf paced over the mountains of ice and snow, bright red eyes staring deeply, though it did not attempt to cross through the portal. Death slipped into Asgard as silent as ever. "You forget yourself uncle, I am the blood of his blood."
She was fearless, but could feel all the energy pumping through her veins like a strong ale. Courage, anger, and excitement all going at once as she stared down at her once uncle and grandmother. They were once the family she loved. Memories of her uncle playing with her, making her hair stand on end with static electricity and the stories her grandmother had told her. Stories of valiant warriors and shining steeds made of crystals. Of white stags and fearsome monsters.
Frigga had never treated her as one, a monster that is. Never treated her any differently, though their years together had been short. "You adore your cages for the things you would like to forget do you not? Cages of magic, worlds of death and darkness. Punished for my father's trespasses. His own children used as a way to punish him. Yet you come, curious as to why he is fueled by rage?" Her voice was low, booming and loomed in the room with an intense echo. It showed her Jotun parentage.
"I remember the stories, the games... Do you all remember? Before I was a monster?" A smile painted on her black lips as her feet finally tapped onto the marble floor of the vault room, standing before her uncle, her grandmother and most importantly her father. There would be no time to request things of them or answers from her father, not at present. "The dreams you allowed to fill my head. The hope you filled a stupid child's heart with. You are not without your cruelties either."
Standing before them was woman who last any of them saw was a child on the brink of maturity. A child cursed from birth with malevolent parentage and death. Now, here she was, standing taller than Thor or any other Asgardian with the lovely and unmistakeable form of a female. "His blood is my blood and I have come to do for him what he was never able to do for me." She stepped more into the light, "Free him."

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
It was his own mind that had warped and twisted her words to the malice drive thought process that it was now. Had she not just said herself that she had asked Thor to bring him back? An what did she expect they would do? Give Loki a warm welcome? No, if anything Frigga should have left him alone, seeing that there was now nothing for him here.
Thoughts that his sons Narvi and Váli were better of not knowing his existence or rather that he still lived. They deserved better then the life he could provide for them. He was un aware of what was being told to them.
His so called awareness was nothing but the control of the cube. He saw nothing wrong with it, because it was not what it wished. If anything the cube would do whatever it needed to retain its master. Though a direct connect turned the wielder into more of a puppet then the one in control. It was so seductive in its power. He did nothing but stare at the woman with those eerie unnatural blue eyes that seemed so foreign to his features for those who knew him.
It was that blundering oaf, Odin's most loyal of dogs. Thor. Though now, the bumbling blonde could be considered a due thank you for bringing him close enough to awaken the cosmic cube. Loki, however was quick to correct Thor of his assumptions "I am not.. Your Brother" rolled from his tongue like venom from the fangs of a snake.
Loki remained in his crouched position for a moment longer, until the last of the lingering pain had subsided before pulling himself back to his feet, the chains rattling against one another as he stood finally. A constant reminder that this place would never be a home. That any where was better then here. Even the wretched little rock of Midgard.
"We are not blood, and will never be" Once again as the malice sliced through the air, he glanced at both with blue eyes. "What have I done? " He looked off towards the side before he laughed. "What you, Thor, have done is Bring me back within enough space to awaken the Cube. Within a matter of hours," He would have revealed that with in a matter of hours the cube would fine away around the magic that blocked the cell. Even the smallest bit of a constance source would be enough.
But it seemed he no longer needed to say such things as some one rather familiar looking approached. Loki was quite sure that it was his daughter, Hela, Whom he had not seen in what seemed like an eternity. Though under the cube's lingering influence, it was not as heart felt as it should have been. He merely saw her as a means to retrieve the cube and snatch the gauntlet as well.
Though she has never been a monster to him. None of his children were.
Loki could not help but smirk, Hela was here to provide a means of escape. Such a strong connection to the cube, un hindered by the scepter or binding. Just the mere thought made Loki almost visibly quiver in delight.
