Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

IT'S HARD FOR ME TO SAY but I think you've taken my heart away
She could hear her gently padded footsteps, descending down hard, stone steps where light had barely begun to break the unyielding darkness. The young goddess had nothing to fear, with the guards following close behind, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of impending terror building in the pit of her stomach. They were armed, of course, with both torches and their weapons ... and she had been reassured she would not be hurt, not only for them but as the patient was being suppressed magically. That was good, of course ... then she wouldn't have to worry about doing it herself. She could concentrate on the task at hand, but she found the further down into the darkness she went, the more her mind began to wander.
For one, it was much colder than she had expected; she had dressed warmly, for such a problem. She was wrapped in a thick shawl about her thin shoulders, her dress was made of winter fabrics like wool; soft against her skin, draped in dark browns and mossy greens, only her pale skin and hair stood out against the warm firelight, shining behind her as they finally came deep, deep down into the pitch blackness of the cells. It was not from cold though, that a shiver left her frail frame ... but she would not have called it fear either.
Sigyn gave a glance over her shoulder towards the guards, nodding to signal she would go alone from here. They wouldn't be far from her, but she felt it would be best for him if they were alone ... recovery was just as much emotional as it was physical, after all. The guards would more than likely do nothing but set him on edge, and she needed him ... at least somewhat relaxed. She took one of the lanterns from the wall and used the guard's torch to set it alight, the pouch of herbs and mixtures she tended to carry sitting on a simple thread against her hip. Holding the lantern before her, her free hand keeping her shawls tucked tight about her, she continued her journey into the dank halls of the dungeons.
She hadn't been surprised by the lack of other cellmates. Unfortunately, these particular cells had been made for the very dangerous, and there weren't that many that were captured alive in Asgard. Sigyn could have only imagined how unbearably lonely it was down here. Did the exiled prince even care? Maybe he preferred it this way ... from what she remembered from all those years ago, a younger Loki had preferred the solitude to playing games with the other boys ... more than likely because they were brutish. That was what she thought, upon first coming here, taken from her home. 'Peace' they had called it. All she had known, at such a young age, was that she was being made to live somewhere she did not want to. She only faintly remembered the forests of Vanaheim. The flowers, the scents ... but she was here now. How lucky to have come with her mother and sisters, but the Asgardians had seemed so .. crude to her. Shaking the thought from her head, she found herself at his cell quicker than she thought, swallowing quietly as her eyes fixed upon the small window of the wrought iron door. Approaching closer, she raised a timid hand and knocked firmly, the noise echoing all around her and making her wince. She cleared her throat as she spoke.
"My prince? Are you awake?"

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
Despite having been almost brutally beaten or rather thats what it seemed. It was the second time he had been brought back, the first time he had merely allowed it. only to realize he had make a crucial miscalculation in his own plot. However this time was not apart of the plan. Loki had fought for what it was worth against Thor until he could no longer fight back.
His armor had bore as much of the brunt of the damages as it could. The fire from the shield weapon, then barrage of small missiles, repulsion blasts and what ever else stark had fired. Then tossing Thor on top of it. Though they saw fit to take anything from him that could be thought as a weapon. The broken armor had been removed, along with the long sleeveless coat. His mood was less then pleasant.
Loki was indeed awake, He'd heard the foot steps of a few people, then it stopped. he hoped that they had second guessed coming and just turn to leave. From what Loki could sense, he was the only being detained down here. Far from prying eyes, no doubt viewed as an embarrassment to the royal family. They weren't really his family, now were they. Of course, Odin could not just banish him to another realm. He would escape, they always knew that.
However, the light footsteps resumed, in a singular nature, just one. Someone highly foolish. Loki was in no mood to be gawked at by onlookers. The knock on the door however spoke of other things, it was followed by a faint voice. Loki almost laughed, their titles had been the one thing Odin did not see fit to remove for them. Any of them, no matter what they did. He was still considered a prince, as much as it did not hold any meaning.
He wondered for a moment, if he did not respond, possibly who ever it was would go away. Leave him to his demons and lick his wounds in peace.

IT'S HARD FOR ME TO SAY but I think you've taken my heart away
Unfortunately for the disgraced prince of Asgard, she was here on a job. Just because he didn't answer did not mean she would just go away for later. She supposed she could enter and work gently on him; she didn't want to anger him, after all. She quietly fished the keys from her pouch and unlocked the door, slipping into a small opening before closing and locking the door back behind her. She was careful to hide the key somewhere on her person, inside the confines of her clothing, her back to him to keep from seeing before she turned to face him. The sight she was made to behold was, in short ... upsetting.
It was hard to believe that he had been taken down so low. Bruised and battered, chained down like an animal in a dank, dark cell hundreds of feet below civilization. It was like they were trying to hide him down here ... given up on helping him after he'd rejected it so many times. She supposed he was a lost cause. She sighed quietly and moved across the small room, placing the lantern down where she would get the best light, and moving to his side to make an assessment of what exactly what was needed. From what she could see offhand, she could see both mild and severe bruising along his neck and face; a black eye, bruised nose ... she could tell right off the bat he would need salves. However, if anything were broken, if any other injuries were being hidden from view, she needed him to be -
Then she noticed his eyes. He was awake. Sigyn tensed up in surprise; how hadn't she noticed? His eyes were such a bright green they practically glowed ... she probably hadn't been thinking about it. She shuffled back a bit hesitantly, hands folded in her lap and wringing her fingers nervously before she spoke, her voice cracking with the slightest hint of nerves.
"I-I'm sorry ... I thought you were asleep," She murmured, just loud enough for him to hear. "Ah, I've been sent to see to your wounds, my prince ... I'm a healer." She tried to keep the talk light, but enough that she didn't feel awkward. His face was so intense ... his eyes so angry, and cold. He was intimidating, if anything.
"I-I'm afraid I need you to sit up, I need to check for broken bones." She had the worst feeling she was about to get a fight over this simple request. She couldn't imagine the ex-prince would comply to being poked and prodded at by a complete stranger, healer or no.

Well clearly that tactic had failed him, perhaps continuing to lie still would work. He could however he her fumbling with the keys, how foolish to keep them on her. The cold floor however provided amble excuse to lay there other wise. Loki remained ever still regardless to her approach, part of him wished to reach out and scare the living daylights out of her. Just on principle.
Loki held back a smirk, as he watched her grow tense. She seemed to be too enthralled in his features to notice the most lively part, his green eyes. His head turned to the side as she shuffled back rather quickly, her nerves, clearly on end.
He merely watched her unamused as she spoke, so they had sent a rather nervous kitten down here to provide him with relief that he did not want. "I am no prince, not of here," He snarled out. He did not care that she was here to help him. Or event that she was not cruel. Loki would play that to his advantage to her supposed Timid nature.
"If you are indeed afraid, they why are you even here?" He could hear it in her voice. He ignored her simple request and rolled uncomfortably onto his side, as much as his side protested. Loki was well with keeping his body in pain for the time being. It would heal on its own.
He did not want help from these people, the very people that cast him aside in favor of another. No, they were no longer his people. As far as Loki was concerned, he belonged to no one or any where.

IT'S HARD FOR ME TO SAY but I think you've taken my heart away
She winced at the roughness in his voice; the anger, the dryness. She vaguely wondered if he was dehydrated as well. From what bit she had read about Jotun anyway ... heat was torturous for them. It was lucky it was so chilly down here, but if he wasn't drinking ... he looked awful. She steeled herself somewhat as he snapped at her, insistent in her position and refusing to move herself just yet. She came here on a mission after all, and she would be loathe to give up so soon. She placed her pouch beside her and gave him a firm sort of stare.
"Unfortunately, I'm afraid I must insist, my prince." She continued to use his title; although he denied it himself, she would feel rude otherwise for referring to him as anything else. After all, he was still a prince. "You're injured, and I'm not leaving here until you allow me to examine you." She was even prepared to sit here the entire night if she had to. She pulled her shawl about her shoulders once more, shifting to seat herself on the sides of her legs to get more comfortable.
Her dark eyes quietly looked him over as she awaited him to either concede or continue to fight her. She could see the bruising around his long neck, how it dipped into the collar of his shirt. There was more, and she was certain of it. The question of whether or not she would be allowed to treat it was another question entirely. The lantern light flickered about behind her, back lighting her silhouette, her hair and fair skin. Thin fingers idly fidgeted in her skirts, curling them tight about her digits before releasing again; she finally found something to occupy herself with by taking out the few salves she had brought with her. Their uses ranged from mild to severe; she had come prepared certainly.
"Perhaps you'd like to begin where you feel pain the worst ..." She suggested softly, placing the salves together before looking to him again, her expression gentle, curious and - dare it be said - actually concerned.

"Then It seems to me that you will be sitting there until you tire of waiting." Loki growled out, he did not care that she was only trying to help. There was no such thing as help from people who now despised you. Well he would not any ways. Though it was more his stubborn nature that was the cause for such refusal. Loki was well aware of the movement behind him. None of it sounded though he should worry about it.
He could see the light that reflected against the dark of the cool wall he was facing, there was something almost demeaning about this entire situation. Loki had grown used to easily healing his own wounds in a matter of moments when they did occur. Generally he was left alone. Though he knew that left with magic he would escape, and Odin would simply not allow such a thing to happen. Not again. Not ever.
If anything he would use this time to think of a possible way to get the keys from her with out making it overly obvious. One he was out, Loki could use the castle's many a secret passages to slip out. Wither or not he would be noticed as gone was one of total difference.
The demi-god merely ignored the suggestion for the time being, even though he shifted a little on his side to relieve some of the pressure from his side. It could wait as far as he was concerned.

She took note of the shifting and grimaced; he was obviously uncomfortable ... was he really so stubborn he would keep in pain just to spite the ones that brought her here? Cut off his nose to spite his face? She frowned and cracked open one of the salve containers she brought, a menthol like scent permeating the stale air about them. "I have the feeling you will get far tired of my presence than I will of waiting, prince Loki." She replied and shifted closer to his back, peering over his side to get a better look at his face again. Her blonde hair draped itself over one shoulder, the very ends of it tickling the side of his neck with its length. She kept the salve on her lap, eyes drifting from his face to the rest of him.
"At the very least turn on your other side ... you're very bad at hiding your pain." She frowned and sat back again, moving a hesitant hand to rest on what, she hoped to be, an uninjured part of him. She gave him a gentle nudge, trying to coax him. She sighed when he seemed unwilling to budge, giving him another small, very small nudge. If there was something she definitely didn't want to do, it was to hurt him further. Honestly, if she wanted to get anywhere here, it would take subtlety ... as well as not worsening his condition. She would need to be patient ... something that, thankfully, she had an abundance of. She had to with people like her mother in her life ... as well as Theoric.
Theoric. She hadn't seen her fiancee in the past couple of days. He had been busy, training new inductees into the Crimson Hawks ranks. She was grateful, if anything. It would mean him hanging around at home a bit less ... and a bit less hovering around her shoulder. She cared greatly for the man; he was one of her best friends. But she could swear he had started to become a bit more ... clingy ... since they became engaged. She didn't love him like she should have. It bothered her, greatly, but her mother assured her she would learn to love him eventually. She could only hope.
Sigyn sat back on the heels of her feet, smearing the salve on her fingertips, awaiting him to at least give her some semblance of a reply.

Loki did not move when she shifted close to him to look over his shoulder. He merely shifted his glance to the side towards her. Regardless, she did seem genuinely concerned. Though the chains about his wrists halted the plan he was currently formulating. It was however only logical to think that the quicker she was allowed to do her job the quicker she would leave.
He drew a heavy sigh after she nudged him several times in the shoulder. It seemed that she had been correct in her previous statement. Loki rolled back onto his back before moving to sit up, resting his back on the cool stone of the cell wall. She was small, smaller then most other aseir he had met. He was not one to call out such things as differences like that, having himself lived with such taunts for the most of his life at the hands of Thor and his friends.
"Do what you need to then leave." His tone was still just as harsh as before, he was in no mood to deal with people. Though, pain had a hand in causing such a spiteful attitude.

She smiled; she was happy that he was cooperating. Despite his initial protests, it was more than obvious that his injuries were indeed painful. Even the strongest man in Asgard could admit when they were in pain, in the solitude away from the battlefield. He was angry, very angry, and she could at least begin to try to understand why. In defeat, very few could be considered gracious, especially in a case such as this. Not only to be taken down by Thor, but to be muzzled and chained like a dog ... and not like the prince he once was. There was definitely an ego blow here ... he was dangerous, but even this was humiliating. The Allfather hadn't come to see him once, or so she had heard. Only Thor and Lady Frigga herself, but never Odin. She shifted closer to him and carefully began undoing the clasps to his shirts, keeping her eyes focused on her task, trying to ignore the piercing green that were threatening to dig holes in the top of her skull. If looks could kill ...
Sigyn breathed out slowly at the sight that came to view as she opened his top, blue eyes trying to fight back a natural wince at the injuries she knew she'd have to deal with. Bruises that took up one whole side, dark purple and near black in color. Several small, but rather deep lacerations embedded in pale, pale skin. They looked as though they had just begun to become infected, more than likely from the dank air of the dungeon. Bruised and battered, all up and down his body, and her heart wrenched at the sight.
"Dear Odin ..." She cursed lightly, shaking her head as she snapped herself out of her startled stupor, rubbing the back of her neck as she pulled out of her little bag several more salves, as well as bandaging and a healing stone. Some of these injuries were beyond her help when her own magic became involved, such as the black bruise on his ribs. Touching them as gently as she could, she had the sneaking suspicion that they were broken, at the very least fractured. She'd never seen something so dark.
A hand pressed cautiously and applied the mixtures to the bruises, a different jar to the cuts. She crushed the healing stone in her hands and rubbed the contents into his side, relieved to see the bruise purple and fade to yellow, gently feeling over his side to check his ribs. They were back in place.

What could he really do at this point, nothing. Loki remained still as he watched her small hands undo the clasps that held the heavy fabric in its place. Just the mere movement against his skin caused it to hurt. Though he would not show it, he would never show it to someone he did not know. In fact, Even in times worse, he tried his damnedest to not display pain. Now was no different.
Loki's eyes locked into her's, watching them feel with emotions he had not seen in someone in regard to his well being in a long time. It was different, And here his previous thoughts had been aligned to her being here on someone else's orders. To well, Finish him off. Though if any one was to strike against him here, it would be the Chitauri, Thanos, Those he was in debt to.
Loki knew that if he did not deliver his end of the bargain well, nothing good would come from that. It inspired mere dread within him to even think of such things. Know what they could do to him, what they had before. It caused a slight shiver of fear to delve down his spine. His mind focused for a moment on other things rather then the woman in the room.
Though her words brought him back to the current reality. He was in a cell. yet again. His face pulled into a glare at the mere mention of Odin's name. IT was merely a reflex.
"What is your name? "
