Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

The Teen Titans are a bunch of Superheros who are considered to be too young to be solo heroes and often have ended up as side kicks. They are a friendly bunch and live in Titans Tower (A big tower shaped like a 'T'). Originally the Teen Titans were Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Aqualad and Speedy, although more have joined them. There have been several Teen Titan teams and new members are welcomed.Current MembersRavenRobinSuperboyYoung FlashStaticMalloryDarkhawkThe list above is of members who have expressed desire to be in the Team as well as members from the comics. I would like confirmation in case someone has seconds thoughts or in case I've misunderstood someone. More people are welcome to join. There is a planned group thread for all the Titans. The plan is for the Titans to get together, either due to wanting to catch up or in response to a threat (such as the Site Plot). If we need any NPC, I will go and apply for them when we have an idea of what we need. One thing we will need to figure out is how do the Titans all know to get together? Has one or two people contacted each other and then formed the Titans? Another thing we may consider is new members. I know two original characters (One currently with an account) who are interested in being Titans. I am plotting with one (Mallory) to explain her joining the Titans, but if anyone else wants to join, we may want to figure out how they do. Also, do we want to have a leader within the Titans? Young Flash is the oldest member of the Titans, followed by Raven. However the Titans often seem to be lead by a Robin when available. Or do we want them to work without a leader? Just some ideas to think about. Please respond and add to the Group Plot. TEEN TITANS TOGETHER

Okay so I am really good at running large scale plots.
So when we're ready, I'll do one exclusively for the teen titans.
In the mean time, I think that Raven should be the leader until we get a robin. We'll just explain away why he isn't actually there to lead the teen titans.
Additionally, I think a social thread will be best at first. Nothing in particular, just kind of a laid back day in the life.
Maybe it's lunch time at Titans Tower and what ever staff they have there have cooked up a real nice spread and they can all get together and mingle and socialize.
I am normally against plain jane social threads, but since this is a group of people meant to work together on a large scale, getting to know one another (As players, not just characters) would be cool.
This way, we'll be able to see how everybody's play skill is, and how our specific fan-fiction characters interact with one another, never mind past interactions in cannon.
Sound good?

I suppose that one way they could be meeting is that Wally is back from the other dimension and all and wants to catch up to some degree with his old teammates. He could've called Raven to get together. I'm creating a thread with Static perhaps he tags along with Wally. They could be attacked by a villain whom is being tracked by Robin from Gotham and Mallory could've be in the area and jumps in. Due to everything that's been happening they decide to reinstate the Titans. What do you think? Not the best thing I guess but it's a start. Definitely open to ideas and what not.
Another thing we could do is what is said in the above post, but Wally isn't part of the TT yet having left them for a short while and will be rejoining them now. So he could be at Titans Tower ready to rejoin or something being a little too at home maybe. I don't know who is already part of the TT or who is joining right now though. Or are we reinstituting it right now and they've been dsibanded? I definitely like the idea of Mallory's though of them getting together and seeing exactly how they react to one another in a social area and all. That could be fun. But Superboy wouldn't be part of the team yet. I want him gradually to become part of it. He'll turn down membership, he'll insult them, he'll run away not really knowing how to act in social situations and what not.
Superboy: Superboy can come into the picture a little later on as I don't want him to be a founding member but I want him to gradually become part of the team. He's a very angry and fustrated person so he could cause problems with the group at times. I think maybe he should have to team up with different members of the team from time to time and eventually becomes part of the team.
Wally "Young Flash" West: As a founding member of the old Teen Titans and the oldest: Wally may act condescending and even try to lead at imes being he has a lot of experience. In this timeline he is twenty-one but physically he's twenty-six due to spending five years in an alternate universe before coming back here ending up skipping back in time to two months after his disappearance into the Speed Force. Wally doesn't mind taking a back seat at times when it comes to leadership though and would only really try to lead if he honestly believed he needed to. Regardless he will take his duties very seriously and care abot the team a lot as the Teen Titans mean something to him. Despite being the oldest he isn't above being very immature and often times is. He eats everything in site and will constantly be joking, but those whom knew him before will notice a change in Wally. He isn't as reckless as before and he seems to be hiding something in the way whenever someone brings up his previous absence he is very vague and not open about it due to all the pain of what happened there which could cause some trust issues between him and the team.

We do have a Robin (Tim Drake) who has been interested when I spoke to him in PM, so I assume that he will take leadership. I think it would be great for Young Flash (Wally West) to try and lead at times. It would certainly make sense and it would probably be interesting.
Social Thread: That would be a good idea. I have generally been working from the idea that they have all gone their seperate ways (there have been Newer Titans without most of the team we have here) and now they are forming back together. But there is no reason why that has not already happened in the past. It would also allow the team to get a feel for each other. Meeting together for a feast sounds like something that would bring them all together. A Sunday Roast, prehaps? And as Wally would be rejoining again in such a situation, maybe he finds out about all the food?
Villian Attack: I quite like this idea, it would give a definite reformation for the team if they have gone their seperate ways. I (as Raven) currently have a thread with Mallory so Raven would be able to bring Mallory with her. That would be interesting as Wally would have Static with him as well. And then we also get Robin in, which would complete the team for now. She could then mention the idea of getting the Titans back together? For the villian I can aquire a NPC as well. Would we want an original villian or canon?
Combination: We possible could combine the ideas. When they have finished with the villian, they later go to get some food, either at a resturant or the T Tower isn't in too bad condition and they just hire some staff to cook a meal for them. I guess that might be a two or more thread idea, though.
Superboy: It is fine for him to come in later on. I'm sure the team will welcome him when he does join. And I like the idea of him sometimes teaming up with the Titans. It is possible that multiple people might invite him.
What do people think about the two plot ideas, then? Do we want to start formed or do we want to work on a reformation thread?

I like the combination idea a lot. We'll either have to get somebody with a powerful villain or a powerful NPC for the villain part. As for the social thread I think it's also a great idea, especially for getting to know each other styles. I don't know so much about hiring staff, but Wally would certainly enjoy getting pizza and bringing it back to Tower. He could fix any problems with the tower at super speed being how smart he is plus his power and they could just hang out in the Tower getting to know each other as only Raven and Wally would actually know each other from earlier in their lives if I'm not mistaken.

I already PMed Raven about this, and she was all open for it so I thought I'd see what the rest of you thought.
Christopher Powell is an eighteen-year-old hero from the Marvel Universe. Lately, since the switching, he's been very curious about the new cities that have sprung up all around the country. So, he's taken it upon himself to explore- both by day, as Chris, and by night, as Darkhawk. I have wanted to plot him with Teen Titans for a while now, see where it may all lead. Chris, I think, would work very well with the team. He capable, honest, open, friendly, and just around their age. :) He knows Robin to an extent as well, though that thread never really got off the ground.
Would you be for it? I think I will probably have him happen upon and help with the battle you're plotting. I still have to decided nay or yay wether he stays for lunch afterwards, but there's a pretty good chance he will.
Thanks a lot!

So are we decided that we shall go with a combination? For a villian I was considering Deathstroke (Slade) or Dr Light (villiains I know well) or leave it open for the NPC to decide. Although we could see if any villain members are open for this.
I like the idea of Wally going to get the pizza, it definitely seems like a teenager sort of social gathering. Someone gets the pizza and everyone chills. And fixing any problems with the tower would be good and Raven and Wally do know each other.
Also, what do we think about Chris getting into the plots?
I am going to PM anyone who hasn't responded with the link to this thread incase they have missed it and to remind them that their input is most welcome.
Also, I have been considering that Raven might have an incident when she becomes demonic as a later plot. Sinestro and Soranik (from the Green Lanterns) would quite possibly also appear there. So are the Titans interested in having to combat a demonic Raven as a later plot?

This. This is gonna be awesome.
And Chris, I'm so sorry about that thread. There's really no excuse. I can have a reply up within the week if you're still interested? ^^ I am genuinely interested in it, and I honestly have no idea what too me so long. I'm sorry.
So, in terms of the team. I'm gonna assume that Robin would know the majority of the other members already, either through the Teen Titans before they disbanded previously, and of course Superboy and Chris he'd know anyway, through recent encounters.
I'm trying not to repeat what's already been said here, but I love the social gathering idea. Tim has something of a weakness for fast/greasy foods, so I imagine that he'd be all too happy to stuff his face... Share it amongst friends. All joking aside, though, it's a great idea. And what with his frighteningly extensive knowledge in technological shizz, I daresay he'd be more than happy to help with getting communications/computers up and running in the tower if necessary. I'm looking forward to these guys meeting up. ^^
And as for the demonic Raven plot, it sounds good to me. I mean, it being a major event it'd be quite nice for the flow of the threads if we were to build up to it, and perhaps have a series of events beforehand that are loosely related, that upon further consideration (that the Titans would assumingly refer back to in order to get a clearer picture as to why it occurred) gradually increased in significance, tight up to the point that she turns on them? So perhaps gradual changes in her attitude could be one of the contributing factors, for example. This could potentially tie in nicely with later plot ideas if necessary, as well, so perhaps it could serve as something of an interesting plot twist?

@chris: I'm down for Darkhawk coming in. It'd make it more realistic being the surplus of heroes from the Marvel domain that are now here as well.
@tim: I think that even if he knows the others, they won't be accustomed to each other or be used to working together in a team-like fashion. Sure Raven, Wally and Robin might be but Static, Chris and Mallory probably won't be which would present a challenge. And let's not forget Superboy. Him? Working with others? He's more likely to move a giant boulder in the doorway so you can't help him than to even let someone try to fight along side him at this point.
@raven: I'm not sure about Deathstroke or Doctor Light. Sure a bit later on (especially Deathstroke) they'd be great to bring in, however, for the beginning it would have to be someone that none of them could truly take down alone or with their mentors. This villain needs to help them come to the realization that the world once again needs the Teen Titans. That there are still enemies that they cannot take down alone. It needs to be someone really powerful. And they shouldn't be able to take them down within a couple of posts each. I feel everyone should get bashed around quite a bit before they start really working as a team. As for demonic Raven I love the idea. I think it'll really test the team a lot for Raven to go bad and all, especially Wally being that they go back and all. As for the villains I was thinking perhaps we could have a couple. We could have the fearsome five having escaped from prison and without the teen titans they really didn't know what to do so they go on a crime spree? I mean any compilation of of the Fearsome Five couldn't really be taken down by any single loen titan. Or perhaps a Marvel villain? It would definitely give a lot of diversity to the situation. I'd definitely liek the Teen Titans to have a few long standing MArvel Villians as arch-enemy types sort of in the way the NTT was with Slade Wilson.
@everyone: A team has something that brings them together. Binds them. Something in common other than what they're doing. The Fantastic Four gained their powers together and developed close bonds, the x-men all come together with mutant pride and love each other like family (for the msot part) and fight for mutant/human equivilancey in a world that doesn't accept them. These New Teen Titans will also have to find what truly makes them a team and I think in the beginning they should have a lot of trouble fighting criminals and helping others due to various things such as miscommunication, no communication (looking at my Superboy) or not listening to orders (Superboy), working more like different heroes fighting the same villain, but not a team fighting a villain, etc.
@everyone again: I also figured out the perfect first encounter between the TT and Superboy. Match. In the comics Match was a failed clone, Superboy beign the final and perfected one, of Superman. They used full kryptonian DNA with MAch which caused him to be filled with rage and bloodlust, basically a murderous uncontrollable version of Superboy but with all of his kryptonian powers already developed. I was thinking Match could attack the Teen Titans and Superboy wouldn't be involved in this thread and he'd almost win, but instead escape without actually killing anybody. Then the next time it could be Superboy and Match in the very beginning and Superboy could be trying to befriend him at Cadmus Labs believing him to only be confused and angry like he is and it could turn badly very quickly. The TT could show and try to push themselves into the situation and SB could get angry at them and constantly try to stop them from intervening being very selfish thinking it's his fight and they should get lost.

I'm down with all the stuff mentioned so far.
Just keep me updated
send PMs to my Powergirl account.
uh, demonic raven sounds good.
I think Robin and Mallory might get along on basis that they are both sorta unpowered. Mallory can teleport, which gives her a huge edge, but as far as fighting goes, she's basically a soldier. I could see them having a rivalry concerning guns.
Because Mallory was trained to use guns, she knows how to use them in non-lethal ways and would want to do that, but I could see the Titans being against it, robin especially.
And as for Sending Wally to get Pizza? They could, but Mallory would be just as fast. (Faster maybe)
I do not think throwing a kryptonian clone at the ground would be a good idea (concerning match) I feel like it would be to much for the group just reforming. It would be loads of fun for me tho, I'd get to do things like teleport cars and air planes into Match. Hehe
Any ways, I am good with what ever. even tough the thread where Mallory joins the teen titans isn't complete yet, we can RP as if she is a brand new addition and the social thread will be the first time she meets the other titans.

@kon: XD I see your point. Keeping that in mind, I can see Robin and Superboy in particular clashing petty often, if anything due to his insistence upon being independent, and his apparent impulsiveness in combat. Superboy would probably quite successfully drive him insane at times, come to think of it, or at least have the potential to. Especially considering their first meeting. I don't think Robin will be forgetting his unwillingness (in his opinion anyway) to cooperate any time soon~
@mallory: Definitely. I can imagine that he'd do everything in his power to prevent her from resorting to the use of such weapons, and perhaps this could put something of a strain on their otherwise friendly relationship? o.o I mean, I can see them getting along as well.
@everyone(In response to Kon): I agree, there. It seems to me as though they each have individual styles that may or may not initially work in the team's favor, and perhaps this could lead to..(and I don't know if this would work at all XD I'm just throwing random ideas in) Maybe a handful of individual "missions," for lack of a better word, that are carried out in the interests of the team, when fighting an opponent? if that makes sense? I mean, perhaps they have already organized (small) groups of almost scouts, I guess, to go out onto the field in response to...uh...stuff already planned out by the team? So, these groups could consist of those who initially work well together, and perhaps they'd go out one group of like, two, at a time in order to avoid failure as a result of low tolerance levels, while others work back at Titans Tower as..I dunno.. almost Oracle-like figures? So, perhaps due to the Marvel influences, they could try a similar approach to SHIELD in that sense? But of course, this would be an ineffective manner of achieving their goals, so it could be abandoned early on. My thinking is that they might try various approaches to achieve the same thing, while simultaneously making use of each individual's abilities, as well as perhaps wanting to set themselves apart from, say, the Justice League. Speaking of, whichever villain(s) is/are chosen for the first threads in my mind should be someone that they feel threatened by enough to need to form the Teen Titans again, as already said, however at the same time should be someone that they can take on as a team. Although I'm a little dubious as to whether one villain, no matter how powerful they may be, would be enough to make them feel the need to re-form the Titans. Somebody who they feel that they and they alone can fight. After all, the initial reaction to such a large threat would most likely be to notify the Justice League, right? Or perhaps not. I don't know. But assuming for a moment that they would, I guess I'm saying that there needs to be something there that causes them to feel that they cannot necessarily rely on the more experienced heroes.
Sorry for the essay, by the way. xD
And though I like the idea of the clone, and the clash between the TT and Superboy, I gotta agree with Mallory that the clone would initially seem a lot for them to handle, however saying that this fact could as a result serve as one of the factors that...how to put it.. causes them to realize that they aren't working together efficiently. As I daresay as a team they could take him, however individually such a powerful being would undoubtedly serve as a huge threat. Although if Superboy were to appear to be supporting the clone to them, I'm thinking that it would be a long while for them to gain trust in him. Or maybe that's the point, in which case I like this idea.
Hey, perhaps they could clash with the JLA a little, depending on whether or not they'd approve of the Titans. Not in a hostile manner, but...yeah. Just a thought. And in terms of villains, though they need to be pretty damn powerful, if they are too much of a threat, I don't quite see why they wouldn't go to the JLA, rather than forming the Titans once more.
And O.o this turned out a whole lot longer and rambly than I expected. Sorry.

Getting the Titans Together Plot: Okay, so a powerful villain, that isn't too powerful that they would call in the JLA. Any ideas? I'd suggest Trigon (But he's lost his powers) or Raven's half-brothers (But I don't think they are too up on powers either), so I'm totally up for suggestions. The Fearsome Five sounds like a good idea, how easy would it be to get them assembled as a villain group? Could the NPC do it? Otherwise I can see if the NPC can come up with a canon or original idea. I agree that the Titans should only be able to defeat him when they begin to work together. The Titans have often worked together as a family, it appears. So that could give them ground for a later to unite them. Besides, there are often problems. The Social meeting after wards should be fun, and I can imagine Wally and Mallory having a race to see who can get the pizzas first. Tim, I agree, Robin would probably know all of them, which would be another good reason for Robin to become the leader.
Demonic Raven: I agree with Tim, it should be built up to. Recently I've been having Raven having some trouble with keeping her emotions under control. So building up would definitely work. Changes in Raven's attitude should not be too hard to move on to and it will give the Titans plenty to work with. Also, I believe the Titans have been given items by Raven which can kill her, so you'd all be able to have a discussion on whether or not to kill Raven or how to get her back without killing her (Please don't kill Raven). Also, what do the Titans think about if Sinestro and Soranik got involved? I've threaded with them where Sinestro got injured by Raven when she sort of lost control of her emotions, so it would make sense. I'll work on figuring out reasons why Raven would turn and how to fix it as well.
Clones: I think that sounds like a great way to get TT and Superboy introduced. An angry clone is likely to set Raven out of kilter a bit as well. As Mallory said, it may be a bit much at the start but I think the team could handle it and the situation would awaken them to the fact that they need to work as a team.
JLA: They have had problems with the Titans before and it would certainly be fun if that happened again. Is there a way to contact them and see if they would be interested?
-Raven

A good first bad guy should be Raven. She can be powerful and has ties to all the other titans. She pulled the group back together did she not? Gave it a reason to continue as a functional entity? So why not during the social thread a fight break out (This will probably happen organically any ways) and Raven will feel threatened (Internally) as the thing she loves and fought to preserve begins to denature and break apart almost the second it's back together. She has doubts and it gets to her, she goes evil. The titans fight her, they must work together without the cohesive glue that brought them all back together and they must do it because they all care about Raven. In the end, this new group learns to work together and is stronger for it. The fight doesn't need to be long or drawn out or epic, it is a mechanism, that's it. After that they can take on more epic bad guys, so lets not get ahead of ourselves with bad guys like Match or potentially clashing with the JLA. edit: Anybody else see the quote I quoted as an indiscernible mess of dots? @mallory: In theory, Wally can move at whatever speed he can imagine, however, he is very hesitant about his speed currently and only recently mainlined the speed force and is keeping his advance speed a secret. The last time he pushed his speed he accidentally ended up in an alternate earth for ive years and then when he finalyl got back it was only a couple months ater his disappearance. So in the essence that Wally purposely wouldn't go at the speed faster than her teleportation would mean that Mallory's way would be slightly faster especially on the account Wally will chat it up with anybody be it a civilian, another hero he sees, the police, the pizza guy, so that would delay him quite a bit. Tim "Robin" Drake: Yeah, Robin and SB should definitely fight a lot especially in the beginning until Superboy really does calm down and learn more about life and becomes a bit more chill a tiny bit less hot headed (Which won't happen for awhile). SB disdains taking orders so he will probably not listen to Robins orders most of the time and go all rampagy on the enemies for the most part in the beginning. But I think that eventually it'd evolve a bit like in the comics where they eventually do come to accept each other and become friends. But they'll still fight. Mallory and Superboy: I think despite that sometimes Mallory (based on her personality in her profile) and SB act a bit alike, they would possibly clash even more than SB and Robin. I can see many heated arguments and yelling between these two. @raven: I think that if Raven went demonic, Wally would probably desperately try to get her back to her normal self even if the others try to go lethal on her after awhile. Mostly on the basis of the fact that while he was in the alternate earth he watched everyone pretty much die. @everyone: I really like the idea of possibly bringing in Phobia as a villain a little after they band together as a team but are still not a real team as I described before. Phobia is one of my favorite Teen Titans villains despite that I haven't seen too much of her. She basically is capable of making people live through their worst fears through the use of illusions. She used it on Raven once and on Tas and some other person I forget who she was but her fear was drowning and Tas' was his abusive mother and he was forced to relive a moment when his mother beat his father and degraded him. She suffers from ehr own fears and making others fear and seeing them in fear gives her almost a thrill and makes her feel better about herself.

Damn, I'm sorry xD I see your point. Don't think I was in the right frame ofmind, there. I'll edit it when I'm more awake than I am currently xD Otherwise it'll probably be doomed to make even less sense.
