Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Who: Michael Morbius, Sharon Carter, Nick Fury, NPC villain, Northstar Where: The SHIELD Hellicarrier What: The Attack Threads. Clyde Angeles's final part of phase one is now underway and SHIELD is now at risk of falling. When: After the interrogation of Dominique Falcone, it is revealed that something wicked was coming. Notes: There is to be no killing of the main players. For the people who are coming to the aid of our heroes it is up to you to decide how and when they come into the thread to help. Let the games begin! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - History. It held events of the past though only major. In different locations but at the same exact time separate happenings would occur. While those who slept were cradled in their dreamland across the globe there were people that moved about, buzzing like the drones they were. It would be foolish for one to think that in a sea of billions they actually mattered. For each good deed a person could muster it was often times turned a blind eye. Those who lived lavishly in their millions were recognized for their sin. It was such a twisted world Earth had played out to become. Minds quick to reform, to change, to try something new, bold, and daring revolutionized every single era of man. With century there has been something to marvel from the humans of Earth and it was quite possibly the one astounding feature. Today marked a day that was to go down in the history books, if all is not covered from the public eye. There was a man who had an idea. Clyde Angeles, real estate entrepreneur and scheming billionaire, thought of anarchy and power. He was a human who allowed his pride, greed, and vanity take hold. But he knew his time was short. When a man came forward with an idea of a revolution, it would be his life taken that shows the revolt. It would spread like wildfire soon after as those who were given the opportunity, given the mere thought, would carry it to the end. They would run those who were against them into the ground without a second thought. The Angeles Ball had been a success. Slowly the heroes of the world gathered into one large mansion in Washington DC, either in attending or for the rescue mission. Loki Laufeyson, the demi-god of Lies; Bane, Gotham's cerebral assassin; and Jonathan Crane, the holder of nightmares. Three villians who were involved in the plot to destroy SHIELD from the inside out. After questioning by Malaki Amherst, he had the locations provided by Dominique Falcone to which something terrible would be happening. There was no explanation, just the warning of what she had heard through the grapevine. The Avengers Mansion, an area in North Carolina, Manhattan, New York, Metropolis, and Gotham City. Fury dispatched Captain America to North Carolina, a top secret building laid underground which contained many dangerous objects and people. Loki's scepter was currently housed in the facility. Amelia Smith was dispatched to Metropolis, home of Superman. Natasha Romanov was dispatched to Gotham City. Clint Barton was dispatched to Los Angeles. Danii Washington was dispatched to the Avengers Mansion. Sharon Carter, Michael Morbius, and Johnny Storm remained on the Hellicarrier. Bradley and Vaughn had been dispatched to one of the main research areas in Manhattan. Jerry Tucker was currently present in Texas, servers went down at another SHIELD location the night before. Zara was still present in Gotham's Arkham Asylum. So far everything seemed normal. Their orders were to investigate every inch of the location they were given, look for anything that seemed out of the ordinary and if something did occur then they were to report to Fury immediately. M Y S T I Q U EGaining access to the SHIELD Hellicarrier when you were a shape shifter was one of ease. Mystique had invaded the aircraft weeks prior after killing one of the computer men that sat in the main area where her real target remained most of the time. Maria Hill was Nicholas Fury's right hand man, she was one who he trusted to get the job done right. Maria also was allowed certain information about things that were highly confidential. There was a plan, an idea that was proposed. Magneto had been approached and thusly the blue woman who was his right hand man. Infiltrate SHIELD and destroy them from the inside out. Mystique had managed to gather the files of the Avengers and the prospects, they were nothing more than flies waiting to be swat. Magneto would have showed today though they wouldn't have stood a chance. It would be fun to get out and get some leg work she figured. She always did love a good fight. After the world's merged they remained low, the Brotherhood. It was better to know your enemies than to strike out into the unknown. SHIELD had been a problem before. But thanks to a mind from Metropolis, Clyde Angeles, he brought together crafty minds and means with the ambition to declare war. Mystique stood in the center of the large room, she watched each agent of SHIELD at their respective monitors. The headset was in her right ear. Her arms were crossed over her chest, she wore her SHIELD uniform. The question was where was Hill? She had been tucked away somewhere, far away from here as her fate was in the hands of someone else entirely. She was alive for now, there was still information that needed to be dragged from her mind so that the Brotherhood would know every secret Hill possessed. She had been present at the interrogation back in Manhattan where the Falcone woman remained, another piece to the bigger picture. The bigger picture was underway with more surprises still in store. "Everything's clear, sir," She spoke as Fury walked into the room with Sharon Carter and Michael Morbius behind him. Oh, she couldn't wait for the fun to start. Though it would have to be later once the agents begin to flood the response lines that they were being attacked.

N I C K F U R Y ! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Good. The Hellicarrier is secure," The Director of SHIELD replied.
It had been a rough few days. Wade Wilson had managed to gain access to the the aircraft and then came the incessant talking. Day and night Deadpool roamed the halls, left memos on pieces of papers stolen from people such as Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and Fury, himself. He trusted Deadpool as far as he threw him but the Spy recognized the power within the man and that he would be quite useful. Wade was currently in a relationship with agent Danii Washington which made him believe that he was on their side, for now.
The agents that have collected together. Barton, Smith, Tucker, Washington, Rodgers, and everyone in between assembled a fine team that people could be proud of. Freaks that littered the bases, who wore the SHIELD logo. They were what the world needed, not the nuclear weapons a year before. The showdown between Loki and the Avengers showed the world that they should put their faith in men and women fighting for what is right against those who threatened the planet.
Fury walked further into the room as he touched the screen of a computer as it brought up footage of the security cameras of the Avengers Mansion. Everything looked normal and quiet, the lights had been cut off so that it gave Lady Liberty an advantage. His eye flicked up as he thought he caught a glimpse of an exploding alien ship on one of the screens. Ever since Stark called Niles out that day it had been easier to notice and catch when he resorted to game time while on the clock. Fury turned on his heel as he and the three moved from the lobby, he expected them to follow. He walked into the room in which a meeting had taken place weeks prior, the one in which Bruce Banner had gotten rather out of character with him and refused to read the lines as to what was going on in the scene which resulted in Banner getting angry but never once turning green. He walked over to the head chair and took his seat in the moving black leather, a remote pointed at the screens as he pulled up the profile of Clyde Angeles and Dominique Falcone, thusly Carmine and Jonathan Crane right after.
"Now, Angeles has disappeared and I'm thinking it isn't just a coincidence. It was reported that he was not hit by one of Loki's daggers while his," A picture popped up on the screen of the dead security detail, "Body guards were. Miss Falcone was present at the ball, daughter of Mob Boss Carmine Falcone. He's now a resident of Arkham Asylum after it was reported that," The pictures of the three took over the screen. "Jonathan Crane, The Scarecrow, attacked him with fear toxin. Same stuff used on our agents at the Ball. Now," He said as he propped his feet up on the table while he lit a cigar that he produced from his pocket, taking a few puffs before he removed it from his mouth and looked at it before he took another puff then looked back at Morbius, Carter, and Hill. He pressed another button on the remote as it pulled up a building built underground. "Valhalla II was built by Angeles," Loki and his scepter appeared on the screen. "His scepter... Is there. Now, who can tell me what I'm gettin' at, hmm?" He asked as he raised his single eyebrow.

Sharon had just gotten back from the cafeteria, most of the morning had been spent looking over the nooks and crannies on the Helicarrier and handing out tongue lashings like they were candy on Fury's behalf to most of the rookie agents on board. How could no one notice that the guy in the obnoxious red spandex wasn't one of theirs? Sure they dealt with costumed men and women on a regular bases, but the guy just screamed insane, didn't show his face and carried big katanas on his back. At the very least, the good thing about Deadpool popping in unannounced was that it made the higher ups look over the security system, making it that much tighter now.
It was a good thing he was just there to act like a fool and not to kill everyone, or they would have had bigger problems on their hands, though she wished Agent Liberty would keep her psychotic boyfriend on a tighter leash. And with a muzzle, because Jesus the man could talk. Shaking her head, Sharon was just glad that she wasn't part of that whole debriefing, apparently Bruce Banner had been acting out of character the entire time and she was glad not to have been there if that was the case, he didn't exactly have much room to get emotional with, a sad fact but a fact none the less.
Fury had called for something of a small debriefing for a few of the higher level SHIELD members, the ones that hadn't been deployed to different stations around the country. Something utterly ridiculous had happened at a party, and while she wasn't sad to see that fatass Borris go, implications and more implications had come to light and Sharon was glad she had missed that too, too busy on a mission to take down cartel in Arizona. Her walk was brisk back to the room Fury was having the debriefing in, giving Morbius and Maria a nod of recognition before turning her full attention to Fury.
To say that what had happened was suspicious was definitely sugar coating it, but if everyone else dropped dead aside from Angeles that must have meant Loki had some sort of use for him. Or so the blonde would have thought at least, because the daggers we're too accurate to have called it a miss, "Loki didn't kill him cause he wants his scepter back, what better way to get into the vault housing it then with the guy who built it as his guide?" She frowned as she watched the security images playing, "Didn't this Angeles guy know some sensitive information about more then just Valhalla II? It's a dangerous thing to have him out of our sights, especially if Loki has his hands on him, which I'm sure he does, that guy usually seems to be a step ahead," Which she didn't like at the slightest.

"I am a man of science. My life dedicated to preserving life! Yet around me is the stench of death so strong I can never be rid of it."
Michael was normally not an agent used in field work, his set of skill was better used in the medical field. Ironic that a vampire's greatest asset to the secret organization was not his strength or unique relationship with the night but his knowledge of biochemistry. Though now those other skills would be required of him it seemed.
He'd received word that his presence was requested by Director Fury, It must have been of importance if they required to pull him away from his work let alone his sleep. In fact it was not the first time here of the late such action had been required. Then again he did not feel bad for the growl of a response he retorted to the other agent on the line, even though he could hear the apprehension in their voice about having to be the one to wake a sleeping Vampire.
It was not but moments later he had joined the other on the bridge, careful to stay within the shadows of the mechanical structure provided on the bridge. His total red eyes narrowed to block out what light he could as he followed the others from the bridge to the very same room he had been awakened for a meeting in several weeks ago.
That meeting had started most awkward for him yet it shifted into a verbal battle with a one Bruce Banner. Who Morbius was pleased to say, was no longer here with shield for the time being. The man needed time to cool his heels else where. It was only the four of them for the time being he supposed. Quite and less volatile situation with people who were known to be level headed about everything it seemed.
The Vampire would only listen at this point in time. There was little that he knew of that night, well other then throwing together a quick serum of relief for the agents that were brought back cowering in fear from that night. Granted the chemical agent that had been used against them was ingenious, This Jonathan Crane's talents could have been an asset had the man not been clearly criminally insane.
"It seems there is more to this then we are aware of, did Angeles not build that prison upon Shield's request? Though regardless, If Loki does have control of Angeles it would be unwise to bring the man in. If we were to question him, it would no doubt throw red flags that we are onto his plans. Better to wait and watch and react then cause what ever he is planing to yet again change. " Michael paused for a moment in thought, " Am I correct in thinking that you sent Rogers to Valhalla II? If so I fear he may not be enough to Stop Loki"
Tell me... are you scared now?

M Y S T I Q U E
The mutant stood before the group, her image reflected the officer Maria Hill to the exact breathing person locked away. Her arms remained crossed in front of her chest, the bright blue of her eyes watched the screens as the images moved across the screen. It served Mystique well to be present within the small gathering. She had came aboard to gain information not only about SHIELD but about the Avengers and more so about what they had compiled about the other world. Much was useful as Fury and the others filled in the blanks. It was knowledge to Mystique that the Director had expected Maria to know every point and what which line lead to which thus why she remained silent. The mutant's mind worked much quicker than these humans.
Sharon, the blonde, and Michael, the vampire, spoke in their turns while Mystique watched the monitors that surveyed the present areas that held alarm for attack. Bradley and Vaughn had just arrived in the underground parking of a SHIELD building that appeared to be a small skyscraper with Oscorp on the walls. It was actually a weapons development building where Andrews spent the majority of the time developing weapons for Fury, the Avengers or the Council. Minutes passed and her eyes didn't waver.
"Sir," She started slowly. Vaughn had turned his attention to the entrance of the garage and Bradley had turned to rush towards the stairs. "Sterling and Andrews are in defense mode. I can't get a picture on the disturbance." Mystique spoke while her fingers touched the screen of the monitors. Her brow was furrowed and turned to look back at the three. The mutant shape shifter easily wore the mask of calmed panic as Hill was always under a state of panic given the situations SHiELD found itself in.

The calm before the storm. Every stress was pressed ever so slightly, the tension from one strand being disrupted would bring down everything. What was in the darkness now came to light. Fury had cursed everything and everyone under his breath when the situation presented itself. The damn Falcone woman's locations made him uneasy. How would she know of Valhalla II? Loki's scepter was there as were several other things. Fury looked calm but underneath he was furious. How many of his soldiers did he send to die?
"Hill, get Castle's attention." He spoke in reference to the Punisher. It was time for him to meet the dirty streets of Gotham. How many of his people are going to return to the Hellicarrier?
Sharon spoke and guessed correctly though the pieces of the puzzle had been laid out. Their attention had been the wonders of the worlds merging, what it meant and what they could collect. Now they had the rippling waves of others to tend to before the questions of why and what and how came to be. "Angeles held information about a few other facilities such as the Oscorp building being used as a weapons facility, testing and development. Valhalla II was the most secure out forth locations."
Fury glanced to Morbius as he, too, began to speak and form his own conclusions. Everyone had come to the consensus regarding Angeles' Judas route. SHIELD had begun to be suspicious of Clyde's handling of money, the ones he was doing business for after the division of the government used his resources after Loki invaded New York. His building had kept the Trickster away for a year until this all.
"We lost Angeles a few days ago, Ms. Walker is with his as well. We're currently unaware if Loki has him or not." Fury looked at the monitors and back at Hill. "Get in contact with Rogers. I want visual on every location that bitch gave us even if we have to call NASA and have them move the satellites."
Nick rose from his desk, his hands moved the papers and images of all things important to the case. His thoughts went to the newly formed SWORD up in space. They hadn't collected anything that could indicate the merging began with the void of nothing. They had seen a major power not too far off in the galaxy but it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. That chilled Fury to his bones but it would never be seen. He always kept his composure; he'd never allow another the power over him to make him lose his cool. Maria's voice broke the silence as his attention turned to the screen. The building was the Oscorp location and there were Vaughn and Bradley. And from the shadows walked the giant, Bane. The beast from Gotham who, along with Loki and The Scarecrow, gave his agents a whopping none had received in quite some time. He was savvy on Bane's conquest in Gotham; the nuclear deterrent and alienation of a city from its country with the use of power and fear.
"I want that whole area of New York evacuated as quickly as possible," Fury began spitting out orders while he moved from behind the desk and towards the door, expecting them to follow. "Bane shut Gotham down a while back, I don't want anything given to him to be used against us." He said as they walked back to the main area, the locations had been slowly popping up on the screen. "Agent Sterling and Andrews has the resources to take care of themselves but I want... Is that Spiderman?" Fury stopped and squinted.
The screens soon showed Valhalla II and the God retrieving his weapon. Fury clenched his jaw as his hands moved to his hips for a moment. Anger flooded him. So many have lost their lives at the location and now on the second screen showed one of his best and brightest, Amelia Smith being taken out. The life and fight extinguished from her body. The Avengers Mansion popped up on the third screen and Danii was currently on the defense. Night vision was what the cameras had defaulted to, something wasn't right. Several flashes went off on the floors and the lights from the guns the agents were holding fell to the ground, unmoving.
"Get the Avengers... Valhalla II is the priority." He spoke rigidly. This was war.

To say that Sharon was feeling a level of unease was the understatement of the century, her brows knitting together at the thought of Steve having to go toe to toe with Loki. Sure he was strong, the man was a super soldier after all, but Loki was supposed to be another level entirely. And if Sharon was going to be completely honest with herself, her fears were a little more 'worried girlfriend' then she would have liked to admit. In fact, it was mostly that, though she was really trying to keep personal feelings as far from anything that had to do with her work as possible. She was just about to say something else when she was cut off by Agent Hill and automatically her eyes went to the camera feed.
Sure, they were capable agents, but she had read the file on Bane, and that.....man for lack of a better term, was a bonafide brute. The things he had done to the city of Gotham, Sharon had to wonder if they would actually managed to make it out of that mess alive, let alone unscathed. She could only hope for the best, not that she had any time for hope, it seemed like the unsavory characters of the underworld were all launching an all out assault on SHIELD bases all over the States. So that's what it was, they were attacking everywhere at once, divide and conquer, "That's why she knew! It was a set up to get everyone alone," That was exactly what it had been.
"It was a divide and conquer method," Sharon hissed, sneaky bastards, and they had fallen for the trap hook, line, and sinker, "Sir, they're all being engaged, how are we supposed to get them out?" A small thread of panic, just enough to get the adrenaline to start flowing, and she was going to use that to her advantage. It was going to get her where she needed to go, and hand resting on the butt of her gun, the blonde was ready to move out at a moments notice, there was no way she was sitting this mess out, "We're going to need all agent's on deck for this Director,"

"Yet around me is the stench of death so strong I can never be rid of it."
Wait a minute, something was off. He couldn't quite place it yet exactly but it was wrong. Call it instinct. An it had nothing to do with the situation outside the helicarrier. This was here. Why would everyone be engaged in combat an the main area of operations left alone. The vampire did not like this one bit. Michael drew tense, taunt as he stepped back besides Sharon to relay the suspicion to the group. Standing silent for the time being as he listened to Fury's concerns. None of them really seemed to fit. Why try and distract them from the scepter. No one was in the area to really respond fast enough to stop it. Even if they were not fighting.
Few could intervene and not get killed. Stark of course could get there the fastest, but he would not be enough If Loki already had his hands on the weapon. "You can't They are all stuck where they are. None of them have the heart to leave a city unguarded. Even if that was the case. By the time they get to Valhalla II It wont matter. He'll have the weapon. Its a lost cause. As much as he hated to be the voice of reason on that matter. It was time to cut their losses of the facility.
He paused for a moment before continuing. "Taking everything out of the picture. The Scepter, the fighting. Why Occupy people several thousands of miles away from where the scepter is being housed, I dont think that was just the main reason for the distraction" Of course he could be wrong, call it intuition. "how do you send an organization into chaos, you take out the command deck. Their communication. Then everyone is in the dark"
Tell me... are you scared now?
