Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Who: Captain America, Loki, Jean Grey, Wally West Where: Valhalla Two, North Carolina What: The Attack Threads. Clyde Angeles's final part of phase one is now underway and SHIELD is now at risk of falling. When: After the interrogation of Dominique Falcone, it is revealed that something wicked was coming. Notes: There is to be no killing of the main players. For the people who are coming to the aid of our heroes it is up to you to decide how and when they come into the thread to help. Let the games begin! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - History. It held events of the past though only major. In different locations but at the same exact time separate happenings would occur. While those who slept were cradled in their dreamland across the globe there were people that moved about, buzzing like the drones they were. It would be foolish for one to think that in a sea of billions they actually mattered. For each good deed a person could muster it was often times turned a blind eye. Those who lived lavishly in their millions were recognized for their sin. It was such a twisted world Earth had played out to become. Minds quick to reform, to change, to try something new, bold, and daring revolutionized every single era of man. With century there has been something to marvel from the humans of Earth and it was quite possibly the one astounding feature. Today marked a day that was to go down in the history books, if all is not covered from the public eye. There was a man who had an idea. Clyde Angeles, real estate entrepreneur and scheming billionaire, thought of anarchy and power. He was a human who allowed his pride, greed, and vanity take hold. But he knew his time was short. When a man came forward with an idea of a revolution, it would be his life taken that shows the revolt. It would spread like wildfire soon after as those who were given the opportunity, given the mere thought, would carry it to the end. They would run those who were against them into the ground without a second thought. The Angeles Ball had been a success. Slowly the heroes of the world gathered into one large mansion in Washington DC, either in attending or for the rescue mission. Loki Laufeyson, the demi-god of Lies; Bane, Gotham's cerebral assassin; and Jonathan Crane, the holder of nightmares. Three villians who were involved in the plot to destroy SHIELD from the inside out. After questioning by Malaki Amherst, he had the locations provided by Dominique Falcone to which something terrible would be happening. There was no explanation, just the warning of what she had heard through the grapevine. The Avengers Mansion, an area in North Carolina, Manhattan, New York, Metropolis, and Gotham City. Fury dispatched Captain America to North Carolina, a top secret building laid underground which contained many dangerous objects and people. Loki's scepter was currently housed in the facility. Amelia Smith was dispatched to Metropolis, home of Superman. Natasha Romanov was dispatched to Gotham City. Clint Barton was dispatched to Los Angeles. Danii Washington was dispatched to the Avengers Mansion. Sharon Carter, Michael Morbius, and Johnny Storm remained on the Hellicarrier. Bradley and Vaughn had been dispatched to one of the main research areas in Manhattan. Jerry Tucker was currently present in Texas, servers went down at another SHIELD location the night before. Zara was still present in Gotham's Arkham Asylum. So far everything seemed normal. Their orders were to investigate every inch of the location they were given, look for anything that seemed out of the ordinary and if something did occur then they were to report to Fury immediately. [atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
It had all been far far too easy after Angelus leaked the location to the where abouts of his scepter at the ball. It was however untimely that his bold not-brother, Thor, saw fit to stick his nose in matters he knew nothing of. Typical. Loki had been taken out of the picture but only momentarily.
In fact he was thankful for Thor's callous actions. Seeing his so called family had re-nued his sense of purpose as to just why he was doing this. They were only using him. Though finally it gave Frigga a chance to come face to face with what her youngest had been twisted into.
The damage the cube had done to Loki's was unrepairable. An he never felt better.
He would see to this that every part of the plan that was his responsibility would be complete, but first he had to reacquire his scepter. An laugh in the face of any one who tried to stop him. Entering the facility was far to easy for a master of magic. It was but child's play to take the form of another and slink into the building. From there taking the form of nothing.
Invisibility was a hell of a thing.
Thermal imaging devices could not, would not be able to register his signature regardless. As he was a being from a land of extreme cold. He passed through trip lasers like a wraith, a non corporeal form. Though he had to hand it to the mortal, the design of the building was quite respectable for mortal standards. Its thick walls had done the job of masking the notable energy signature of the scepter, what they could only read as radiation. Peasants.
Though Loki could not exactly quite pick up on its location exactly. Perhaps its containment had dampened the tell tell signal as well. It would be easy to dig a little deeper into the facility. It was in that moment Loki allowed his form to drop through the floor and the next.
He cared not for knowing just exactly where he was at the time. In fact once he held the scepter in his long cold finger, it would be as simple as cutting his way out. Regardless of who decided to show up. Or were already hear. Either way, the resistance would be but futile. There would be nothing to stand in his way once the connection to the cube was regained.
Taking note that which each floor descended, the fortress was but a prison. A containment for prisoners that could not be contained. Once the Demi-god reached a level that he could pick up the trace of the power he walked along the halls. Ever silent as a wind crossing a snow drift. Invisible to the mortal's technology. Invisible to the eyes of men.
A sinister smirk crossed his face, He was So close to the object in question he could almost taste it. It was a rare thing for excitement to cause him to almost run towards its telling location. Though there was another idea in mind, that stopped him from a dead sprint. So he continued his search, ever following the trail till his destination was reached.
It was a sad sight to behold as his invisible form ghosted through the thick earthen metal used to create the door. A simple trick really to walk through a solid object. Loki's smirk never faded as the room was empty and silent as the grave of a funeral pyre. It was in that split second of a moment he dropped the illusion that caused for the invisibility as he reached the control panel.
His understanding of differing technology was profound since his connection with the cube. Its knowledge was truly limitless. Since then, like the weapons of the Chitauri, things of a mechanical nature came so easily in their operation. It took but a few simple strokes of his fingers across the lighted keys of the panel before him to release the glass like material of the case surrounding the scepter.
Loki wanted them to see that it was such a simple act for him. Mocking them really. That all their efforts had been for naught. He laughed as he entered the unit to retrieve the scepter. Such a powerful connections was nothing short of an addiction. Feeling the cube's energy flow through his veins like liquid fire in his veins. With that. The alarms started to blare their whining songs. Alerting the people that something had gone awry.
Loki took pleasure in knowing that he could simply cut down his enemies that were on the move as he simple blasted the door to the room open. He was going to make a show of this. Show the mortals just how weak they truly are. How vulnerable, helpless they were to stop him unless he wanted them to. An right now that was clearly not the case.

S.H.I.E.L.D. had been dealing with a great degree of adversity as of late with the events of the Clyde Angeles situation. Chaos was ensuing, and S.H.E.L.D. was in jeopardy of falling apart at it's core, not to mention the God of Mischief was continuing to cause mayhem in a chaotic goal to retrieve the Chitauri Scepter. The Chitauri Scepter was linked with the Tesseract, which allowed its user to open rifts through dimensions with the Tesseract. It was used as a gate key, but nonetheless, S.H.I.E.L.D. was in a tough position having to deal with Loki and Clyde Angeles all together. Although, S.H.I.E.L.D. was a strong counter terrorism and intelligence agency, and with Nick Fury at the helm, S.H.I.E.L.D. would prevail threw all the difficulties that have presented itself.
Steve Rogers was a man out of time, a relic, but one who was ready to get back into the field of action, since he was most comfortable out on the battlefield. He never really had the opportunity to fight for his country before he was frozen in time, because he was too busy putting on a gaudy War Bonds promotional stage show rather than actually being on the front lines serving for his country the way he planned to, so being able to support S.H.E.I.L.D. today by traveling to North Carolina to a top secret underground base that contained dangerous items was something he had been looking forward to when Nick Fury first informed him on the mission. Steve was informed by Nick that the Chitauri Scepter was located at the base where he would be attending to act as safeguard in keeping the Chitauri Scepter or any other top secret item out of the wrong hands.
The Star-Spangled Avenger was already in route to the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s North Carolina top secret hidden underground base via the Avengers' Quinjet. Prior to leaving the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, Steve had already dawned his Captain America uniform with his trusty shield, and was only minutes away from arriving at the top secret underground base. Suddenly, Captain America received communication from Maria Hill that the North Carolina underground base was in currently in danger. Furthermore informing Cap that the alarms had been set off due to an intruder alert. Instantly, Cap put two and two together realizing that it was most likely Loki. The God of Mischief was probably lurking to locate the Chitauri Scepter.
Upon arriving to the base, Cap lowered the Avengers' Quinjet down onto the heliport, then quickly climbed out of the quinjet on pursuit to find the intruder. Cap entered inside the underground base with alarms still ringing out throughout the underground base. Underground, the base was really large with many corridors and rooms that held some of the most expensive and powerful items known to mankind. This base was highly secretive, a smart place on Nick's part to hide the Chitauri Scepter here for so long, but no longer would it remain safe at this location. Cap followed behind the panicked S.H.I.E.L.D. security agents, slowly grabbing a hold of his shield with a tight grip. The S.H.I.E.L.D. security agents entered inside a large room with metal thick walls, and Cap entered inside the room with them, as he immediately spotted Loki standing there in the center of the room with the Chitauri Scepter within his grasp.
The God of Mischief most certainly seemed ready to dispose of them all right here and now, so the S.H.I.E.L.D. security agents surrounded Loki, a dozen of them, with Cap standing tall with his shield gripped tightly in his right hand ready for battle. "I would ask you if you were going to go about this the easy way or the hard way Loki, but I already know the answer," Cap held his ground, as the S.H.I.E.L.D. security agents drew their weapons. "That scepter belongs in a museum somewhere, not in your evil hands. S.H.I.E.L.D should have left that thing where they found it," Cap spoke out to Loki, as there was a momentary stand off. Cap knew that more assistance was on the way from one of the X-Men, Jean Grey, and some guy named Wally West who was known as, The Flash. Whether they would be arriving or not, Cap was here and ready to gain back the Chitauri Scepter from Loki.

Wally was quite a bit excited about this mission. It would be the first time he was officially teaming up with some of the other world’s heroes. He hadn’t been given much intel on the mission, but he hoped that it would lead to good relationships between the heroes of both worlds. It was an important step. By the time Wally had arrived, it seemed whatever was going on had already started and what a drag. He was hoping to get some southern food in before he had to fight. The thought of barbecue . . . sweet potato pie . . . oh man he wanted some southern food right about now. That only meant he had to rush through this whole this even faster. He was driven by the lure of southern foods. He would complete this mission and settle down for some barbecue ribs at a nice diner. Maybe even go get Bart and Barry to join in. Heck maybe if he liked these new heroes they’d come along too. In less than the blink of an eye Wally was standing behind Loki in his Young Flash uniform. That’s when he heard what Captain America called him. Loki? Wally bit his lip a bit wondering if he should hold back the laughter but he decided to let it out and he began bursting in laughter.
“Are you serious?! Loki? What? Did you’re parents hate you or something,” Wally said as he zipped in front of Loki taking in his appearance which he also found hilarious. A couple tears filled in his eyes for a moment as he chuckled and he wiped them with his left hand for a moment as he caught his laughter. “Are you sure this is the right guy,” Wally said trying to suppress his laughter, “I think he’s just trying to find his LARPing buddies. Or perhaps he’s going to a Dungeons and Dragons convention,” Wally joked as then turned into nothing less than a blur of colors as he rushed to try and grab the man’s scepter. “Maybe this is what he wears when he plays World of Warcraft.”
Wally might’ve been acting the fool, but at the same time he was taking in everything around him. It seemed this guy was another ‘magic’ user. He was really sick of all the magic stuff. Wally didn’t believe any of it for a second. Absolutely everything can be explain by science in Wally’s opinion. He wondered if the man could be from an alternate universe. Or a pocket dimension. Or maybe he had alien or futuristic technology he used to appear as if he were using magic. Perhaps he had even been subjected to experimentation or obtained powers through a lab accident like he and Barry had. He also wondered what this Captain America guy was like. He seemed to be a no-nonsense, old fashion guy by the looks of his costume. He wondered what powers and stuff he could possibly have. What could he do. It would’ve been easier if he knew a little about his opponent, but it would help a great deal if he knew something about his ally. He also wondered where the third member of their little trio was. He had no idea about who that was either. The others heroes sure didn’t give him much to go on.

Jean was standing tall in front of a large full body mirror in her bedroom, just staring at herself in silence. A thousand thoughts soaring through her mind at 100 miles an hour, with just as many doubts staring her down. Her hands clenched at her sides she cast a quick glance down at them before falling back at her reflection in the mirror. She’d been asked to do something she wasn't sure she was capable of. Physically there was no question, as an Omega level Mutant there was none either, but mentally was another story.
She’d barely listened to the mission briefing, only catching the fact that she’d been asked to lend a hand to some of Earth’s other Superheroes in stopping a madman. Saving the world, protecting the innocent... seemed like a motto that had been burned into her brain for as long as she could remember. Jean was always putting others first and it’s what repeatedly got her life cut short. Being the brave yes girl got her more trouble than she wondered if it was worth.
Clasping her hands together Jean closed her eyes and materialized her costume onto her body then turned away from the mirror and moved to her balcony. Why wait for Fury’s goons to come get her when she could move faster than they ever could. Running her fingers through her hair Jean made her decision and gracefully lifted off the ground and took to the sky. Mentally going over the mission file she’d pulled from Scott’s desk she thought about the two men she’d be aiding.
First off there was Steve Rogers, known to the world as Captain America. A well rounded all American kind of guy, a gentleman and a hard worker. He fought for his deep beliefs in America. Then there was the young Wally West, the Flash. From what she’d heard he was incredibly cocky and tried too hard to be slick with the ladies, almost reminded her of Bobby Drake. Then there was their foe, Loki.
The Lord of Mischief, hailing from Asgard but not of that race. He was half brother to Thor, whom Jean had only met once, a long time ago. Loki’s need for power had caused quite a stir this past year and she was not surprised in the slightest when his name had come up during the briefing. Touching down Jean was quickly covered by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and taken into the facility.
Stepping up behind Captain America Jean crossed her arms and quietly assessed Loki while trying to gauge his power levels without reading him outright. If she could at all avoid using her psychic abilities that was fine by her. But she also knew Loki liked to play games and she had no doubt that dealing with him would be very dangerous. Turning to Steve she demurely addressed him, "Captain."

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
Loki merely laughed for the moment at the Captain's self righteous proclamation. A museum? This was no earthling relic or artifact, it was not of centuries of age it was not of this dimension. It belonged to no mortal, to no man. It was Loki's, and his alone to wield. Steve may hold his ground for the time being but there was no sense of self control in Loki's eyes that there had been upon their first meeting. He held nothing back, no he was here to annihilate the mortals that saw fir to stand in his way. Those, like these agents, would fall.
A distinct spark of insanity could be seen in his eyes, nothing was going to stop him from leaving this building in a destructive wake. It was to serve as a warning. If they heeded it, well that was their own choice. He had nothing to do on the planet any longer, He did have a reason though the moment it was not in his mind, should they prolong his stay their fate would be gruesome.
"You think your mortal allies could stop me? No, Not now, not ever." His voice was callous, psychotic, over all demerited. Had they not been able to figure out that Loki wanted them to show up to stop him. That he wanted them to fall right into place like the good little pawns they were. Oh how stupid the mortals were, unable to see a laid trap for what it was. An they sprang it beautifully.
However, It seemed that the dear captain was not alone. Some foolish mortal who probably thought he was the fastest man alive ran past. Loki could not help but yet again laugh at the mortal. Yes, fast to a human, but not to well, what Loki was. Though as fast as the man thought he was, Loki's keen green eyes easily followed his movements, carefully and nimbly spinning the scepter over the back of his hand when the mortal reached for it. A failed attempt. His words where however lost. It was not an insult or what have you if the person in question could not understand the meaning behind it.
"How quaint, you saw fit to bring mortals of lesser power then your own to attempt to stop me. How do you feel about sending Lambs to the slaughter, dear Captain? " All of it a cocky insult, even as the third arrived. To bad, they were so terribly out matched, Even the Enchantress was a stronger telepath then this one that arrived. Powers that could do little to nothing to stop him from laying waste then simply walked out of the ruins.
Without a moments notice the Demi-god channeled an unfathomable amount of energy from the scepter, blasting the one star spangled avenger out of the room through several of the heavy walls keeping the place well shielded. "Now, would any one else care make their play or flee?"

“Don’t count us out yet..We’re not all Mortal here, Loki.” Jean stated, folding her arms across her chest with a small smile on her face. She cocked her head to the side, long strands falling from one shoulder to the other as she gauged the Demi-God. Jean understood how unstable Loki was, a trait most with God-like powers seemed to share, herself no exception. But it also gave them an edge and an additional card to play. Second guessing can be such a bitch.
“Besides, I’m all about the sacrificial lambs...Are you offering?” Jean continued slowly as Loki waved his arms around, flailing like a duck her blue eyes zeroed in on the glowing sphere in the middle of Loki’s scepter, knowing from her readings that it contained cosmic power and acted as an unimaginable energy source something that her other half had a sudden gnawing desire to play with.
Some said the crystal was in fact the Mind crystal from the Infinity Gauntlet, but Odin closely guarded his Trophy room.. Jean had her doubts but regardless of what its origins were, it was pure energy and it was within her grasp, and she wanted it. A sudden loud screeching noise echoed in her ears; someone wanted out. She had been so concerned with Loki toying with her Jean hadn’t even considered the sceptor.
Curling her arms tighter around herself, a loud crash pushed Jean out of her trance and her head snapped in time to see the Captain go through the last three walls with a sickening crunch, wincing Jean called out: "Captain, are you alright?" before turning back to face Loki. “Gentlemen first Mr.West.”

Wally might have been acting the fool as usual, but he was still calculating everything. taking every little thing in and processing it. It was amazing how little time it took to do so with a super speed enhanced brain. Loki easily followed his movements at the speed he was going at. He was able to easily move it out of the way of his grasp. This Loki guy was definitely good. But Wally had tangled with a lot of terrible villains over the years. He wasn’t afraid in the slightest bit. Wally of course had not been moving at a fast speed though. Hell that was the equivalent of a normal person casually walking for Wally. He was much faster. Especially since that little trip into the Speed Force.
It has seemed ever since then that his speed knew no bounds. In fact, it did have no bounds anymore. He could move at any imaginable speed. Of course, he didn’t know this yet. He was hesitant to use his speed after the incident with the Speed Force. It was a feeling. Like running even at what would be considered a high speed for a speedster, was effortless for him. He felt a power that he was afraid to admit he had felt before: the Speed Force. He had mainlined it. He was, in theory, potentially the fastest thing that could possibly exist. That is if he chose to go that fast, which he afraid to do at the moment.
Wally stared the Asgradian directly in the eyes. A lot could be told from someone’s eyes. Loki’s had a spark of insanity in them. Not surprising. Nor was the malice. He had seen the look in Loki’s eye before in oh so many villains over the years. wally didn’t fear him. Maybe he should have, but he had just dealt with too many all-powerful people before that he wasn’t scared by them. Wally turned into a blur again before stopping his head bent forward a bit as he examined the scepter. His right hand was on his chin and his left crossed his chest as he examined it. “Hmm . . . well it’s not Apocalyptic technology that’s for sure. They like to make things look more complicated than they really are.” Wally straighten up and scratched his head. “And it’s not twenty-fifth century technology because Booster Gold would have it and it isn’t sixty-fourth century technology because Abra Kadabra would have similar technology. Which means it’s from a pocket dimension or something created in the other universe.” Wally said in examination more to himself than to anyone else.
Captain America went flying through quite a few walls only a moment later. Wally turned into a red and yellow blur once again before arriving next to the hero who was out cold. He turned into another blur and hid the unconscious Captain America before appearing back at teleportation speed. “He’s out cold.” He told the woman. “That wasn’t very nice.” He said in a serious tone to Loki. It was hard to take someone dressed like that seriously though. Wally turned once again into a red and yellow blur and was gone just like that. A moment later he returned with a mach punch directed at Loki.
(OOC: Sorry if I was a bit godmoddy with Captain America, but I figured since we don't have anyone to play him at the moment we could go on as if he was out of commission.)

This one clearly held a different understanding of the word mortal. To him, she was was mortal. Not a god, not un-killable. He would be able to easily put these two in their place. Having already dispatched the solider all but too easily. He continued to smirk like a demon. Its what he was, it was simply his nature to throughly enjoy the destruction, the mayhem he was able to cause. Loki once again laughed, What a sense of humor, I will try and leave that intact for you once I am done here.
His words continued to drip like venom, this woman was doing nothing but posturing, talking a big game and proving nothing. Loki on the other had, held the power of the cosmic cube linked to him through the scepter. This would be a blood bath of a fight, a slaughter. He would only leave them alive to not only remember their ignorance, but to damage their minds. There was no fun in simply killing a being when there was nothing left to be said from it.
One of them could tell the Director Fury that they had failed and allowed Loki to simply walk away with the scepter.
Loki let he speedster ramble on about what he thought the scepter was, neither of them held the correct knowledge to even remotely have a clue. However Loki let the one who was willing to attack him make a direct hit, in order to show him just how moot of a point this was. Okay, that was slightly unexpected. He took the punch to the sternum, that actually held a bit of force to it, in fact almost close to his own natural strength. He merely took a step back in absorbing the blow.
Impressive for a human," He commented before dropping the tip of the scepter to the ground allowing it to lengthen in size before taking a moment to swing it up laying a duel blow, the swing to distract the speedster. Once it layed across his shoulder in one swift move, he forced the magic through the uru metal, directing a formidable blast at the so claimed immortal human.

Before the Cap could even bare his shield over his body, Loki struck with incredible speed. The large blast of energy jetted right at his chest, sending him back a good 30 yards through the thick metal walls. Cap collapsed onto the ground knocking him out for the time being. His cerebellum slapped against the thick chrome steal walls very hard, rendering him unconscious. Steve saw the woman of his dreams, Sharon Carter looking into his eyes. She was beautiful and reminded him of an angel, from heaven. Dressed in white, with a cloudy background, his lips pressed softly against her's. Steve never told her he loved her, just because they were two beings who focused more on their work instead of a relationship. The man out of time, slowly watched her fade as he stuck out a hand to with a face of shock. Before she'd faded completely, Cap's eye shot open realizing it was a dream.
Steve slowly stood up bending his spine upright, and back into place. His spine billowed a loud crackling pop, causing the patriotic hero to grit his teeth at the pain. With the shield in hand, he looked over at Flash and watched as he connected a powerful jab to the god's sternum. Steve was shocked to see this happen, knowing that Loki was a powerful being. Steve launched his shield at Loki, letting it glide like a disc towards the chest of the demi-god. Steve sprinted after the shield, making his way back to the location. "FIRE" yelled Steve as he waved a hand at Loki's position. Bullets emitted from the SHIELD agent's barrels, sending them whizzing towards Loki's location after Wally was out of the way.

“Much obliged, it’s all I've really got left..Dying will do that to you.” She replied curtly, shrugging her shoulder nonchalantly. Jean held her ground while Wally took up the offensive, slamming Loki with a blow of his own. It was her turn next without a doubt and she closed her eyes to start channeling her power, not enough to cause utter chaos but just enough to hopefully stop the demi-god. She could easily lose control here and that was something she didn’t want to have to explain to Fury.
Besides, if she managed to overtake Loki even with the help of the other two and get the cube then there was no guarantee she’d just hand it over to Fury. Best do this quickly then Jean thought to herself, flames started rising up and curling around her body, licking it like a candle. She rose off the floor and clenched her hands together as the Phoenix engulfed her.
The nice thing about being a woman was that they were often so underestimated when it came to what they could do, and for all intense purposes Jean looked like an uptight school teacher most of the time, it was perfectly misleading.
Just as Jean was about to strike a bright light filled the room and smacked her straight in the chest, throwing her against the wall. She hit it with a loud crunch and was terribly certain there was a Jean shaped dent in it. Cracking her neck she braced her arms on the wall and pushed off of it with a wince. “Ow.” She snarked. “Didn't anybody ever tell you not to poke a sleeping bird?”
Jean’s eyes flashed red and she flew off the wall towards Loki, a psionic phoenix behind her, claws outstretched and snarling in anger. The bird veered off from it’s owner as Jean barreled into Loki, aiming to elbow him in the chest to get him to drop the scepter, the bird clawing at Loki's side.
She briefly wondered if she could make the cube backfire, rearrange the matter inside of it so it combust, she’d be happy if she could just get it to stop firing but that would take a lot of time that she didn’t have. Whipping her head back to face Captain Rogers she called out, “If you can knock him out I can sedate him, I don’t know how long I can hold it but it should be long enough for Fury to get here.”

This guy was certainly tough. He had heard Cap was tough and he had taken him out like a fly. And now he took that punch from him? Wally admitted he was no where near his fastest. In fact, he wasn't quiet sure his speed had a limit anymore to be honest. He wondered if he would have to use his infinite mass punch. That was something that could knock foes as strong and durable as Superman and the Hulk from one end of the earth to the other. He hoped he wouldn't have to. He didn't want the collateral damage. Besides, he had hope that if they worked together they could take him down. He just wished he had some prior knowledge to the woman's powers. The name Phoenix made him think of the justice society superhero Wildcat who physically had nine lives and could die and come back. He wondered if she could do anything like that.
"You haven't even see a fraction of what I can do. Though I'd be an idiot to assume you couldn't say the same." Wally let the scepter land on his shoulder. It could give him a better chance to get it from the asgardian. Wally grabbed hold of the middle of the scepter as it let out the blast and began to run his hand over the scepter at super speed creating friction to make the metal hot. If it was metal. He didn't really know what it was composed of. He looked over his shoulder as he heard the blast as watched as Jean got up. She seemed fine. It would be a lie to say he wasn't surprised by Cap coming back. "Man . . . You really are a super soldier." It wasn't a huge surprise, but he had been out cold and it hadn't been very long. Yet he was back up and fighting already. Wally moved out of the way of Caps shield and shots letting go of the scepter.
Wally watched Jean. Well her powers weren't like Wildcats. Though something about the bird she had now reminded him of Raven when she used her soul self. Of course, chat created a Raven not a Phoenix. Wally didn't think too much on it. He just had a lot of time and his brain was super speed accelerated. He watched the attack as he wondered what exactly his fellow heroes could do. It would have been better if they knew all of each others capabilities that way they could make a plan of sorts. He listened to Jeans words to Cap as he himself tried to devise a plan. He could run around him at super speed to create a vortex to absorb the air. He didn't know if he needed air or not but he figured he did. He decided against it for the moment. It was risky and he was afraid of getting sucked into the speed force again. Wally lifted up his arms and moved them at super speed creating miniature twisters directed at Loki. "What's the full plan?"
