Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down It had been quite some time since he had danced though he saw it as a way to keep rather low on the radar for the time being. He bothered not to give Dom her space as she moved further into his. Bold, and quite frankly he liked the fearless nature, regardless that she was but one of the mortals that Thor so valiantly swore to protect.
Part of a race that he would prove to try and destroy. Who was to say he could not have some fun while he waited to bring it all crashing down.
Though he highly doubted she was as great a thing as the power of the cosmic cube. Clearly this woman was full of surprises though. Loki let her have her speech about his age, though it was apparent that the chasm of a gap meant little to her. So he had sparked her interest to the point that nothing would would but hold it the same, good.
If this was indeed the case. She would continue to seek him out possible should he chose to merely vanish from where he sat. Though it was not the case. There was not a reason to run. Why would he?
This woman was bold for her species. She knew of her charms and how to use them to ensnare what she wished. Sounded like a very old friend and fling of his. Even though there was no way for Dom to leave him to any said wolves as Amora had done countless times.
The Demi- God merely stood without so much as a word spoke before he offered her his frigged hand.

They had both stood up as she reached them. Zara put her glass down onto the table as the bald man held out his hand. Zara took his hand and shook it. ”Nice to meet you Mr Romanov.” She nodded at what he said. ”I think a lot of people choose to breeze over things rather than read through them properly.” Fury was good at giving out the information that he felt people needed to know. General information on everyone else was a given so they didn’t go attack each other. Then again, she was sure some of them did it for fun.
Dimitri had stepped aside to introduce his boss. Zara gave him a warm smile just as she had done the man before. Zara could tell that English was probably not his best language as he stuck sentences together. At least she was able to understand what he meant. Zara had caught Dimitri’s shake of the head from the corner of her eye and Borris tried once again. By the time he had reached ‘may the force be with you’ Zara couldn’t help but laugh.
By the looks of it Dimitri had a hard enough time with his boss. Zara didn’t see him as too bad so far. ”It’s nice to meet you too Mr Ivanov.” she told him. ”Are you both enjoying this little get together?” Everyone seemed to be getting on just fine from a glance. A rare thing to see really. Then again, you never knew what was bubbling under the surface of people so Zara wouldn’t count her chickens just yet.

Perhaps one of the reasons she was interested in Loki was due to the fact he had no idea who she was. Everyone in Gotham knew of her last name, knew of what her family had done and was still completely capable of doing. Women and men, both, made it a point to stay away from her unless they were intentionally looking for trouble. Sure the demi-god she was seated next to was someone of power, someone who could crush Dominique just as easily as looking at her. But he hadn't nor had he stopped speaking to her no matter how small his talk was. It was nice to have someone who nothing of her-- she felt like a person again.
It was her personality that often times drove anyone away. She accepted nothing less perfect in all aspects of her life. She was always on her toes and she expected those employed through her to do the same. And while she craved a tender yet rough touch, she would drive potential lovers away out of fear. The fear that the altered part of her brain would kick in and they would find she was damaged. Dominique had been touched by the fear toxin that had been pumped through Gotham years previous. The effects spent time in her nervous system which caused permenate damage. There would be random spells in which all she would taste is fear, it would seep through and shroud her eyes and she would feel her death for what felt like hours. She was a mess during that period and would often retreat to her bedroom for days on end.
The mere thought caused a distance to form in her eyes even as she sat next to the handsome Loki. She had given her speech as long winded as it was and during the moment the demi-god sat there quiet the awful truth of her reality dawned upon her. The movement of his hand as it extended towards her brought her back momentarily enough for her bright eyes to look from his hand to his face. She was happy he accepted. Her hand took his as her tiers parted slightly, her eyes snap back to his serene face. He was cold, ice cold. But without hesitation her fingers entwined with his, she didn't care he was cold. Dom was a hot blooded female and he was rather refreshing. He was different from the men she had come across and she already wanted to keep him. She was but a human woman and he a god, she knew she could never hold his attention but that never stopped Dominique-- her last name was infamous for taking what they cannot have.
Loki would have use for the woman. As long as he would be around she had the demi-god in her favor. She'd love to see Batman's face the moment he meets Loki. The idea of him tossing the Bat around caused her smile to brighten. Heels clicked on the ground as she stood, her body touched his briefly as her brow quirked once. She led him onto the floor, her gaze never left his green eyes. She stopped as she cleared her throat and stepped into the space that was left between them. Her hand slithered up his arm until it was placed a little behind his left shoulder. Her head turned to the side as her eyes took in the room around them. Everything was calm and peaceful for once. There was no violence, threats, gun shots, people intent on destroying the relaxed mood of the ball. She raised her head back and looked up at Loki.
"Is the information you're waiting on going to blow us all up? Your New York stint I heard was impressive." Her voice was low but sweet.

Who: Clyde Angeles, Everyone. Where: Washington DC ;; Mansion What: Annual ball hosted by Clyde Angeles. When: The night after the DEBFRIEFED meeting. Notes: Everyone is welcome to join! If you're going to crash the ball and cause some chaos wait until the NPC posts one more time.
Everything was going well. The guests were arriving by the minute as they included the faces of politians, judges, doctors, government, and others of a more particular variety. He wasn't a man out discrimination, he welcomed all those who could afford an elegant set of dress this evening. He hadn't a care for how vile or obnoxious the person was, they were spectacles for tonights illusion. He broadcasted to the world the event and all those were watching. Some could say he was the alternate world's Tony Stark though he didn't own a suit of metal. He owned a large number of real estate and was actually the man behind a particular plan against SHIELD. Behind that wolf smile, the funny stories, and the wintered nice he carried around, there was nothing there. He had everything in the world and the Intelligence agents had been looking into the darkest of areas around the Angeles name.
His eyes were trained upon the man at the bar, Loki. The demi-god, rather, had been at the meeting in several states over just the night before. He had the information on the Septor, something none of the SHIELD agents in the room knew about. The night before they met he promised Loki the area in which it would be and tonight he had the building name. It was the official name, it had yet to be found in one of the four buildings Angeles helped craft. He had done the research as to what happened in New York with the demi-god and he was impressed. He liked his style. Everyone needed an audience at times to orchestrate their power. But for his plan, Clyde was going the alternate route and keeping it hidden.
He walked over to Borris, his assistant, and the lovely brunette he knew as Dr. O'Riley. His pearly whites shown as he extended a hand to Borris.
"Thank you all for coming, I hope you enjoy the delicious food. I had the top chiefs come in to prepare it." He said before he turned to Zara and smiled his handsome smile. "It's good to finally meet you Doctor. I've heard a lot about your work from some of the people I work with. It's certainly a pleasure to have you here." He said as he stared into her lovely blue eyes. She was a beautiful woman with brains, something a person didn't see often. The corners of his mouth twitched slightly as he turned away with a wave. He knew who would be sent to tear her to pieces.
He looked over the other guests in attendence. A blonde man who seemed to be scoping the place out, a brunette man sipping away. They held themselves with purpose. It was far different than those of the lawyers and doctors. They were the cities protectors, the justice providers for the cheated. But that was all assumptions. He had been around heroes before and he knew the posture. Clyde wasn't a superhero but he stood like one. Oh, how looks could be deceiving.
He stopped walking when he saw another brunette woman, all of them just as lovely, alone. She had previously said something to Borris and now she seemed to looking to get into some trouble-- or at least he presumed looking like that. The speckled gold caught his attention as it ran up the curve of her body. His hazel eyes went over her as he walked over and offered her a glass of champagne.
"I can't believe no one has come up and offered you a drink. Or a dance." He said as he raised his glass in the air in a cheers. It would be his chance to just say the word to the God without any real exchange. He took a large gulp from the glass before he spoke. "Clyde Angeles."

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
Loki knew that look, the look of distance in her eyes, he knew, because he had seen it in his own reflection time after time. It was a look that spoke of past pain, though his own was far from minimal. He could pry, he could tear her mind apart just to see what it was that caused it.
Though the Demi-god chose not to. Knowing that he would slaughter who ever tried to dig into his own past for it. This this became anything more then just a one night event, they may exchange tales in due time.
He smirked, part of his almost warned her about the temperature of his skin, the part that won over was the side that said not to. It was the only thing he ever found amusing about what he really was. One could look at Loki and not tell a damn thing that he was not of Asgard.
This little event how ever was proving to be quite surprising. though he knew not if anything would come from it, Loki had no use for humans. However, it was nice for a change, to feel welcome in such an environment. Socialization and class had been from his life for far to long. Even though Loki did not view time the same way.
It had really been ages since he actually had danced with any one. Though it seemed he had not lost his tough, ever light on his feet. Loki's smirk never leaving his face as her hand snaked up his arm to his back. He was surprised she could even reach his shoulder. Loki ran his arm around her waist, the other still intertwined with her hand.
He swayed with her to the cellos and violins. "No, I am just waiting to here about something that was taken from me. " He was not going to talk about the specifics, there was no point yet. Loki smirked and rolled his head back, laughing slightly. " It went as planned, nothing more nothing less. " Though he had suffered from it. Suffered greatly.

Johnny didn’t know why he was the only member of the fantastic four that was going to the ball but he had agreed to go to shut Reed up, he had been going on about how Johnny needed to take more responsibility even though it had been Johnny who had been working with SHIELD for the last month day in day out whilst Reed had been working in his lab doing nothing at all but claiming that he was working on a breakthrough. Reed and Sue had meant to be going to the ball but hours before whilst Sue had been trying to pick a dress to wear miraculously Reed got the breakthrough that he had needed and he was unable to go and he needed Sue’s help to make sure that the new breakthrough was right. Ben was already out with Alicia so that meant that Sue had asked Johnny to go instead.
It wasn’t that he didn’t like parties but if it wasn’t for the party then he wouldn’t have to be here he had been working all week for shield so for him to be back out but this time in the media spotlight rather than him having time to be working it was not something that he hated and he was looking forward to a night out but he was getting sick of Reed and the scientist was getting close to being on the violent side of Johnny which was not something that he would want to be due to the fact that Reed wasn’t a fighter really but Johnny was able to box so he would be able to beat the hell out of the scientist if he felt that he had to. Arriving at the ball in a suit he went straight to the bar and got a beer.

Who: Bradley Andrews, Everyone. Where: Washington DC ;; Mansion What: Annual ball hosted by Clyde Angeles. When: The night after the DEBFRIEFED meeting. Notes: Bradley Andrew's NPC profile. Villains, please wait for NPC Clyde's post to invade.
Needless to say Bradley wasn't happy about being here. He wasn't a person who attended things such as this. A fucking ball. There are only two balls the weapon technician for SHIELD has ever been concerned with and he never had to dress up for them. He didn't bother in shaving his five o' clock shadow or really dressing up for the event as the others. Even his short, dark hair looked as if he had been running his hand through it-- which he had been. He arrived promptly on time and realized why he always said it was better to be late than early. It meant that he would have to be there for quite some time.
Currently he had been questioning his employment at SHIELD. It was their idea for him to come tonight. No, they made him come. They thought Bradley needed more exposure to people rather than steel triggers and barrels. He could assemble a gun in less than a second, he could create farfetched weapon ideas until they came to life. He was a genius in what he does and he took it as an insult SHIELD told him to be there. Well, there he was. Disgruntled with a pack of Sour Patch Kids in his pocket. He had said about an hour before that they never said he had to be sober.
The man was seated at the bar with five shot glasses lined in front of him. Whiskey, straight. His hands rubbed together as his mouth salivated. He had grown to like drinking, he had grown to like intoxication at various times. He didn't quite want to be here so he decided to fix that problem.
One. He spotted Borris. Two. He saw Zara. Three. He saw the blonde guy. Four. He saw Clyde. Five. He saw Eve.
"Nice ass," He muttered as he turned back to the bar to find the bartender glancing at him oddly. "Not on your life. Give me another five rounds!" He said as his hand slapped the counter before he recoiled. He glanced over at Borris and Zara as well as that Demitri fellow. He blinked once while the server set the shot glasses in front of him and filled them up. He looked at the bar and then back at his co-workers and he shrugged with a wave.

Her hand that had managed to snake around him removed from the strain due to the size difference. Her hand instead slithered to his chest as her fire touch was held by his chilled hand. Had Dominique thought this out, her mind would have told her the moment he spoke his name to leave and mingle within the crowd. She could have taken her pretty eyes and batted them at someone else who wasn't responsible for the almost annihilation of New York. His hand touched her waist and traveled to her back as excitement crept through her body. But there was the difference between Falcone and everyone else in the room. She wasn't the most rational, safety enforced type of person. Gotham was her playground and there she commanded power and respect of sorts though earned by her predcessor. Her hand tightened around his at the thought of crossing Carmine from the history books altogether, it was time for a new era in Gotham and that came from the devil in black.
"No, I am just waiting to here about something that was taken from me. " She watched as a smirk played upon his features, a look came upon his face as if he was remembering a golden memory. " It went as planned, nothing more nothing less. "
"So there is someone here you know which means someone's been naughty," Dominique came to the assumption, she had a brain. She stepped out as her arm lengthened from the demi-god, her body spun lightly as she was brought back into the man. Though this time Dom had stepped in further. She moved her eyes around the room as she looked for obvious faces before she looked back up with Loki. She did enjoy puzzles. "And what happens when you find out? You leave?"

Fashionably late, as usual. And boy was he late this time - checking his pocket watch, Hank grumbled to himself as he shook his head. In truth, he should have been at the mansion quite some time ago. But, no matter, he was here now - in suiting dress, no less. A rather elegant looking evening suit; an onyx pair of pants with a white shirt, topped over by an onyx vest; a gold design on the front rising from the base to the chest. Over that, his jacket, topped off with a top-hat, and a monocle. After all, Hank couldn't very well show up under-dressed for such an occasion, could he?
He checked the handkerchief in his jacket pocket, shifting and readjusting it until he was sure the white piece was sat right in his pocket. He had even come with a black and gold headed cane, clicking as he tapped it to the floor with every step toward the door. Gaining entry was easy, of course - it had become had to explain that he was Dr. Hank McCoy, they took one looked at the fur covered man, and quickly confirmed who exactly it was. With a chuckle as he was given entry, he shook the doorman's hand, and stepped inside.
A rather lovely place, that Clyde had here. It was big, it was elegant, exquisite, immaculate - so many positive adjectives in one vocabulary to explain what it was he was looking at. Led to the main room with the many guests, quickly submerging himself in the crowd. With such a large number of people involved, it would be rather easy to stop and greet, as well as catch such a vast array of old and new friends, as well as many an acquaintance Hank had come to have in his rather eventful life.
He didn't take too long to find himself with a partially filled glass in hand; the rest made up of alcohol - after all, what good was it to get drunk so soon? He had only just got there, and good scotch was to be enjoyed. He took his time with it as he walked around the room, savouring the well aged, very fine taste to the alcohol in his hand while he sought out company. Not that it would take long, heavens no. He knew X-Men, he knew Avengers, he knew SHIELD. He even knew political leaders and folk. No, finding company would probably be the easiest part of his night tonight - and finding him was hardly going to be an extensive scouting mission.

Clyde Angeles had made his way over to them and Zara pulled her attention away from Borris and Dimitri. Zara couldn’t deny that he was a handsome man and even more so up close. He mentioned the food and Zara had no idea having not yet tried any of the food. There was plenty around the place. It could not be said that Mr Angeles was not a good host. He had seemed to cater to every need possible on top of wandering and greeting his guests. When he turned to speak to her Zara couldn’t help but smile back at him. ”It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr Angeles. This is a very beautiful place.” The venue had not slipped her eyes. Large and wasteful as far as she was concerned but beautiful. She knew it wasn’t polite to say anything to a host about costing and so bit her tongue. When he said that he had heard a lot about her work from people he worked with Zara felt her cheeks heat up as she blushed. It was nice to know that some of her work was being paid attention to.
He had turned away to continue mingling and Zara was about to turn back to Borris when she noticed that Johnny had entered the room. Alone. She wondered where Sue and Reed were or if they would be turning up later if at all. As he eyes crossed the room she also noticed Bradley sitting at the bar downing shots. If Zara had not be fussed on attending, Bradley looked like he was trying to drown out the whole experience with alcohol as quickly as possible. When he looked over to them Zara gave him a sympathetic smile and a nod. ”Borris, it was lovely to meet you properly. If you don’t mind I’m just going to see some others. See you soon Dimitri.” It was nice to be getting to know the SHIELD agents one by one.
Zara turned away from the Russian duo before walking across the floor towards the bar. She took up a post close to Bradley and looked at him. ”It’s not that bad is it?” The small smile was still on her face. ”Or is it? Are you being forced to stay here?” Their paths did not cross that often considering her work was biological and his work was more mechanical. However Zara had a deep appreciation for what he did and his work. Of course, if Bradley wanted to be left alone to drink himself away from the ball then she would leave him to it.

Was it something he did? He watched Zara and Borris have an exchange and then the fat man was picking up his things and leaving. Bradley blinked a moment and then went back to his shots. Not like he cared, he barely knew the man but what he did Bradley didn't like. His speech was funny but he had been in America for how long and still he talked like that? His brow was ever furrowed as he picked up the first glass and shot it back. The wave was his attempt at being social, like SHIELD requested.
”It’s not that bad is it?” He was in the middle of taking his second shot when he heard her voice. He turned his body towards her slightly, elbow up as the alcohol traveled down his throat and into his belly. ”Or is it? Are you being forced to stay here?” His hand wiped away the trace liquids on his lips as his blue eyes looked over at her for a moment before he nodded his head.
"SHIELD thinks I need social skills," He said as he picked up the third shot. "Don't need to know how to talk to people when I make things to kill em." He said as he took the third. His finger moved the fourth shot glass to Zara as he picked up the fifth.
"So now I'm stuck. Fury's an ass and I have an open tab. Why are you here?" He asked as he raised his shot glass in a cheers before he played the vanishing act with the wet drink.
He looked to the other side of him and saw the Human Torch, someone he had briefly encountered once or twice on the Hellicarrier where SHIELD kept Andrews. He did a small tight lipped smile as he looked back to the bartender. What was he to do? "Be social, Brad. What would Tony Stark do?"
"Bartender, I'll take fifteen shots for me and my friends." He said with a nod as he glanced to both of them. "Five a piece."

Wasn't that just the best part of looking this good? You didn't have to deal with talking to shmucks like that. Unfortunately though, there didn't actually seem to be much going on, she wasn't hungry, didn't feel like making potential small talk with anyone and the only interesting folks were Dominique and the poor unsuspecting man she was putting her moves on. Nice hair, but Eve had to wonder if he knew just who he was dealing with. Best not to get in the way of a woman busy hunting down her next meal, enough on that. Running a hand through her hair she was making her way over to the bar, far enough away from everyone else to be able to mind her own business and drink in peace until someone struck her attention. Yeah that seemed like a good enough plan for the moment. She stepped past a good looking guy in a suit and gave him the once over, sure she had seen him in the papers before, something about the Fantastic Four? Cute, but no cigar, he seemed intent on a beer either way. Another glance for the sake of the eye candy and she brushed past a man covered in blue fur..........wait, what? Double take, yes he was furry and blue and dressed to the nines on top of that. Well, may as well go big at that point she supposed, being blue was probably what most people were going to focus on anyways, "Lookin' damn snazzy there," Evie had to give credit where credit was due, "Top hats just don't get enough love these days," The brunette said, some people would have thought she was being sarcastic, but she was being totally serious at that moment before she continued past, making it to the bar and leaning against it. Turning to watch everyone as they went about their business Eve caught the movement out of the corner of her grey eyes, the host of the event walking towards her, she took the glass with a smirk and had a sip, "Oh someones tried, I just haven't been interested.....yet," Truth, she always did say if you were going to aim, aim high, "The man of the hour, I know, lovely home you have here," She motioned around slightly and had another sip of the champagne, "Eve Amherst, and it's a pleasure to meet you," Evie finished off the glass, "Hope you weren't just mentioning that dance to string me along Mr. Angeles," A questioning glance as she motioned towards the dance floor. [atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
He worried not about the several people of potential problem causing strolled in. Two mutants, another agent of shield. No matter their numbers would be minus one soon enough. The urge to cause chaos once again had sparked while he was dancing with Dom. She was quite different from mortals he had interacted with before. Nothing like the women that were nearly pawing over him in their drunken stupor.
Lucky for him, Stark had been there to distract him. In fact he had killed again that night. Out of nothing more then the need to cause chaos. A feeling that had escaped him for what seemed ages. Little did Loki know the scepter was to blame. Some foolish human child in a costume with a non lethal gun and roller skates calling himself something snake related. No doubt that Stark was soured that he could not have saved the Brat.
The memory he was recalling was not as pleasant as he made it out to seem. In fact the smirk was to hide it was anything but. There was no point in destroying the pleasant moment he was currently indulging in. He caught her small frame to his after spinning her elegantly. He noticed the lack of space between then that she instigated. Dom was a bold one, for such a fragile creature. That in its self was attractive.
"Well I can assure you, it may be the very person you expect least from it." He glanced about the room for a moment, trying to find...Yes. That one would do just nicely. The socially awkward glutton of a Human, it was not only a plus that he happened to be a an agent. Well past tense would be more appropriate in the next few moments. It was not but for a split second that Loki's focus totally shifted. Forming what little power was needed to crush the Russian's heart from a far with ease. It was not but within a split second and a strangled cry, the over weight Shield Agent was face first in his food.
Dead. Now for the panic to set in from those around him. He would pay it no heed till it turned into a symphony.
"I will not, I do not think it would bode well for word to be crossed then leave. It would be rather rude, considering present company. I may be considered a Heathen God now amongst your Christians, but I do have manners."
Though where ever it was, the Scepter, It could heavily protected. Fury was no doubt aware of his Return, of his choice to walk into the mansion an look for it. Of course with several of their people here, they would expect something from him. Loki would not give them the delight in being right.

"Well I can assure you, it may be the very person you expect least from it."
Her eyes flickered ever so slightly as her gaze was directly connected with his bright green eyes. She had been told once that her eyes seemed to stare directly into the soul, it was chilling to some. She was 'scary' to some. She found that laughable as she looks like a normal woman who just appears to know what she wanted And she did. Loki was a man of mystery to her, he wasn't like the normal men who were in attendance. He gave little away, he wasn't trying to impress her nor was there any type of interest shown other than the fact they were dancing. And he was answering her questions though she knew better than to press directly. They had only just met, she was nothing to him as of yet.
"Oh, I don't know. In my experience it's exactly the person you think it to be." She had been contacted last night at about five in the morning by Clyde Angeles. One of the original people selected had been murdered apparently. She was nothing more than a money funder. She had no care about his empire. She knew if she were to have Gotham, SHIELD was standing in the way. She was, however, unaware of the man's history with Angeles in every way imagined.
She heard the scream of a woman when the music stopped and everyone turned their attention to the reason. The SHIELD agent, Borris, was face down in the soup. What the hell. She was happy she didn't eat the food. Just about everyone had been drinking so she knew she was safe, if it was the food that ended the man's life. She turned her head back to Loki as his voice cut through the air of confusion and slight panic.
"I will not, I do not think it would bode well for word to be crossed then leave. It would be rather rude, considering present company. I may be considered a Heathen God now amongst your Christians, but I do have manners." He wasn't phased. Dominique wasn't upset nor bothered by the sudden death, she had heard the sound of the body's last breath as it passed through. She was no stranger to death.
Her cheeks reddened slightly in color while her lips parted into a smile. "You're as charming as you are attractive. Even if you do leave, you should make it a point to see me again. Even for one night."

Who: Clyde Angeles, Everyone. Where: Washington DC ;; Mansion What: Annual ball hosted by Clyde Angeles. When: The night after the DEBFRIEFED meeting. Notes: Everyone is welcome to join! Villains may crash when they are ready.
"Oh someones tried, I just haven't been interested.....yet. Eve Amherst, and it's a pleasure to meet you," Clyde took her hand in his and kissed it, his hazel eyes bore into her unique gray. Well what do you know. While the woman was beautiful he knew it was unlikely he'd see her again. He was more interested in relaying the information back to a particular Gotham criminal who happened to like extracting eyeballs for his personal collection. "Hope you weren't just mentioning that dance to string me along Mr. Angeles,"
"Oh, I would never do that, Eve." He set the glass down on the platter the waitor held about level to his shoulder.
He took Eve's hand with a charming smile and lead her out to the large floor that held numerous couples dancing. He wasn't concerned with anyone other than the six foot four Asgardian native. He laid eyes upon him and the woman he was dancing with, the daughter of Crime Boss, Carmine Falcone. She had been the one to replace Arthur as of last night when the Joker and Harley slit his throat and then smashed his head to pieces with a mallet. He held the information Loki seeked and now was the covert task of carrying it on. The demi-god was in search of his sceptor, the one which held the connection to the glowing tesseract. He and Eve weaved through the duos until they were not too far off from where Clyde needed to be. He stopped and turned towards Eve, a devious glint in his eyes. His hand touched the middle of her back as he moved in closer, his hand went lower to sit upon her lower back, his hand held hers tight within his.
"So, what brings you to the ball? Are you from the DC area?" He asked as they were nearly in position.
He stepped back so that he was as close to Loki without drawing suspicion. Clyde lengthed his arm out as his hand released hers, he put Eve into an elegant spin. His head turned to the side ever so slightly as his voice was the lowest of whispers. "Valhalla two." And with that he was no longer next to the god.
He stepped towards Eve with a smirk, a delighted expression. She was a beautiful woman but he hadn't a need for her. She was a better bargaining tool or gift for some of the seedier people in life. He was about to say something else before a scream emitted from behind them. His head snapped to the side as his eyes narrowed. Borris, a man he had talked to not even five minutes ago, had his face drowning in the liquid of his soup. What the fuck had happened? He turned his head towards Eve, a frown upon his face.
"I'm sorry Eve, it was wonderful to meet you. We'll have to do this again sometime." He said before he turned and marched quickly to the table. There was security already lined up in order to block the view. The guests were in a panic as people began to scream and others rushed towards the doors to find them locked. He saw his assistant Sky Walker running over to him.
"The doors are locked. And now there's a SHIELD agent dead at table four. Was this us?"
[/b] She asked through gritted teeth as she stepped back, confusion and anfger on her face. "Of course not. I didn't know it would happen." He said before he turned to the crowd. "Alright everyone let's not panic. First off, is there a doctor in the room?"[/blockquote][/center]
