Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

'So, Miss Isley, today I want to talk to you about your dreams.'
Yawn. Ivy was not in a co-operative mood. Somedays she humoured the shrink and toyed with him, giving him cryptic Sphinx-esque answers for him to chew over. Today she did not have the effort or the inclination. She glared back at him, not even attempting to hide her discontent or boredom. Eventually he would give up, and she could go back to her cell. She supposed it was the lesser of the two evils.
He did persevere, but not for long. She mused that whilst he did pretend to care, that was only for the pay cheque at the end of the month, and not for his patients as he so often claimed.
Eventually she was escorted back to her cell, and left in peace. She sat slumped, her arms through the bars looking down the dark and bleary hall that led deeper into the mad house. She could feel the cold floor against the thin fabric of her prison rags, but she didn't bother to move. It wasn't like the rest of her cell was any warmer. One of the perks of a straight jacket was at least it kept you a little warmer.
She rested her head against the bars of her cell, looking at the someone who she didn't recognise. 'So how the hell did you end up here?' she asked. Perhaps conversation with someone different would make the time pass a little quicker.
((OOC: So this thread is through the medium of flashback, but I wasn't planning on mentioning that in character until the end of the thread.))

By all forms of the word, Wonder Woman was the only person in the world that thought Cheetah had any hope for rehabilitation. With a vastly intelligent mind and a gift for archaeology, Diana wanted her old friend to turn away from evil ways and see the state of mankind as good rather than something so sinisterly evil. Alas, everytime Wonder Woman visited her old friend, it was the same. She was sniveling and snappy, not wanting to change… or perhaps unable to change. Cheetah had left Diana with angry lasting words as she marched out of the cell. It was hard for Diana not to feel slightly betrayed by Barbara. After all these years of fighting over and over… wasn’t it time to hang up the mantle, control the urges, and be a normal being? These thoughts were high on Wonder Woman’s mind as she traversed the halls of Arkham Asylum to leave. She was dressed in a gray turtleneck sweater, bootcut jeans, and black boots. Diana wanted to blend in and not be bothered by the wayward asylum inmates with this lofty disguise. However, it wasn’t too hard to guess who she was based on whom she had just visited. As she was about to exit through a locked up door, a calm, if not beautifully melancholy voice pepped up. 'So how the hell did you end up here?' There was a blatant rule not to speak to idle inmates. It would give them the wrong idea and perhaps give them expressive permission to riot and escape. However, when Diana turned to see where the voice came from, she noted the tied up Poison Ivy. This capricious female reminded her a lot of Cheetah; beautiful, terrible, and knowledgeable. Wonder Woman stopped mid stride and looked at Pamela Isley, just as someone might look at a pacing tiger in the zoo. “I was here for Barbara Minerva,” Wonder Woman adjusted a piece of hair out of her face, “I think I can fashion a guess why you are here.”Poison Ivy was the succulent redhead that was always tormenting the Bat family. Diana hadn’t personally had to fight the insubordinate plant witch, but she thought that the doctor would be a fabulous opponent. However, Arkham Asylum was Pamela’s home—not on the streets where she could run wild with her plant life.

She looked, and then she had to look again. She was a little surprised to see her looking so... normal. She wondered how many other inmates had picked up on it. Her guess would have been not many; unless she had talked to her, she wouldn't have guessed either.
She had to smirk about her comment, her guess as to why she was here. She looked up at the woman from her position on the floor. 'You know.... They say that I'm crazy, that I'm a danger.' Her eyes were wide with mock-shock and surprise. She did find what the 'experts' said about her... amusing, to say the least. She categorically disagreed with them, but they never truly listened to her reasoning behind that.
'They're wrong though. I prefer to be descriped as a passionate, focused, determind eco-warrior, surely you can emphathise with that?' The woman that stood before her was a warrior of sorts, though their causes were miles apart. She generally couldn't stand people like Batman, though female heroes, in a weird sort of way, she could just about tolerate.
She wondered what it was like to have a visitor. Someone who cared enough about you to come to this hell hole, just to see you. She generally didn't care for other humans, but she could see the appeal of different company. Trouble was, if Pam's friends weren't already here, they possibly should be, so they could never visit. 'I never have visitors. Your friend is lucky,' she commented, getting to her feet to look the woman in the eye.
