Jaime Reyes
I'm not a hero. I'm not Blue Beetle. It's not my legacy. That's Ted Kord. That's Dan Garret. I just stumbled upon a damn piece of Alien tech that attached to my spine. Then the justice League stole a year of my life and the Green Lanterns are trying to kill me. I want an answer, I want this bug off my back and I want the last year of my life back, esse.

"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Short black, usually casually ruffled hair. He usually doesn’t do much to it.
Eyes: Deep-set almond shaped brown eyes.
Height: Five foot eight as Jaime, Five foot eleven as Blue Beetle
Weight: One hundred twenty-four pounds as Jaime, one hundred seventy-five as Blue Beetle
Distinguishing Marks: Nothing other than a few scars from skateboarding, but it’s not really noticeable unless he points it out.
Appearance: Almost everything about Jaime looks completely, well, average. His hair isn’t anything special. Just a cheap five dollar hair cut. His hair is black and usually kept casually ruffled and it is rather rare that he does much of anything with his hair. He stands at an average height of only five foot eight unlike the other heroes who often stand over six feet tall. His body is slightly above the average teenagers physical fitness as he does regularly work out, but it is nothing like other heroes like Superman or Arsenal. He has a stocky build with a bit of muscle. He has a tan complexion due to living in El Paso, Texas his whole life. He tends to wear simple clothing. Usually a hoodie, worn out jeans, a short sleeved shirt and a pair of DC skater sneakers. Nothing fancy or expensive. Perhaps the only thing not average looking about him is that he has a really nice smile.
Face Claim: Carlos Pena Jr.
"I’m not interested in making new friends,
I don’t even like the ones I have”
I don’t even like the ones I have”
Likes: His family, his friends, helping the people he cares about, skateboarding, sight-seeing, the small things in life, being happy, being able to relax, getting his extra half hour of sleep, weekends, basketball, hanging out, the simple things in life, money, pizza, spicy foods, General Tao’s Chicken, video games, naps, working hard, feeling appreciated, etc.
Dislikes: Blue Beetle Scarab, hostility, being lied to, not knowing what’s going on, being confused, puberty (because it’s a bitch), having a year of his life taken from him, being forced to do things, feeling useless, being unable to help those close to him, fighting, arguing, volatile things or attitudes, mean or insulting things, space, having the blue beetle responsibility thrown at him, the Reach, reality television, being talked down to, stress, people thinking he’s crazy because he appears to ‘talk’ to himself when he speaks with the scarab, Green Lanterns (as their presence causes the Scarab to go crazy and make attempts as drastic as pulling him out of reality itself just to get away from them regardless of what they’re doing), magic as it causes the Scarab to panic and act even more hostile and homicidal than usual, Guy gardener (as the man tried to kill him recently) and a lot of normal teenage stuff that most teenagers wouldn’t like or feel great about.
Personality: For Jaime’s entire life he was nothing more than average. He was the average El Paso teen who woke up at six a.m. every day got ready for school, went to school, did his homework, had a part-time job at McDonald’s to help put the food on the table for his middle-class family and did simple teenage things like wonder what he said wrong or how he could get that girl to like him or playing video games or skateboarding. There really was never anything exceptional about him. As such, he often acts like a typical, average teenager, although slightly more responsible than the average teen. Like almost all teenagers, Jaime feels a need for other people to like him, yet he tends to be slightly critical of himself. He has a considerable unused capacity he hasn’t turned to his advantage. While he is disciplined and self-controlled on the outside, Jaime tends to be worrisome and even somewhat insecure on the inside. He thinks himself nothing more than an average teen and has yet to accept his destiny as the Blue Beetle despite the good he has done, as he doesn’t believe himself a hero. He doesn’t believe he has it in him to be a hero. What if he makes a mistake? What if someone dies because of him? How could he ever live with himself? At times he has serious doubts as to whether he has made the right decisions or has done the right thing. His life hasn’t been a completely fair one and he has long accepted that the Reyes family has a history of getting raw deals. His family are great, nice people who have slaved away their whole lives at dead end jobs just to make ends meet and put the food on the table. He has seen that life isn’t fair and accepts that. He realizes that the good guys don’t always come out on top. That things don’t always work out. He accepts that and he takes almost whatever life throws at him like a champ. He doesn’t complain very often or at least he doesn’t seriously complain. Usually if he complains he means it in a joking manner and even then it isn’t all the time.
Jaime tends to be very mellow and relaxed. He doesn’t get worked up very often and he doesn’t let the small things get to him. He is a good friend and cares deeply for his family and friends. He tends to be a voice of reason most of the time. He is mellow and likes to relax and put his feet up, yet he is not afraid of toil and will certainly work very hard when he has to. He also tends to think very realistically. He’s probably the only teenager in the world who’s greatest ambition for a job career is to become a dentist because the job pays so well, the hours are good and it’s a steady income well above the average house hold income which will in turn give him more time to spend with friends, family or just alone time to unwind. While Jaime is normally a very mellow, chilled guy who doesn’t let the small things get to him, he is still a teenager. When stressed he is way more likely to get snappy or annoyed. He is still a human being and still a teenager and he makes plenty of his own mistakes. He is more easily aggravated lately as he has been attacked by the League after helping them defeat Brother Eye and he missed a year of his life because of the League. Not to mention the scarab which is constantly aggravating him and is sentient. And who could forget all of the normal teenage troubles? His life is currently a complete living hell and it is really getting to him. Jaime is very reluctant a hero, part of this is because he fears screwing up. Another part is the fact he doesn’t believe he can control the powers of the Blue Beetle Scarab as the Scarab is sentient and rather volatile and lethal. He is scared of the power he holds and the thing he serves as a host for. As Blue Beetle, Jaime is currently very nervous. He doesn’t exactly know how to work the armor nor is he aware of everything it is capable of. He hasn’t been in many life threatening situations and will most certainly have to get used to it. eventually he will return to his normal mellow personality while as Blue Beetle.
"With great power comes great responsibility"
Powers: N/A
Weapons Blue Beetle Scarab: The Blue Beetle Scarab, or Khaji Da as it calls itself, has artificial intelligence. It is able to communicate to Jaime as a voice in his head which sounds like his mother’s voice to Jaime, which is rather disturbing to him to be honest. The Scarab is able to communicate with other scarabs and Reach technology as well as even override other scarabs if Jaime breaches the armor of the scarab wearer. Khaji Da has a very volatile, homicidal personality. It can be quite one moment and unhinged and willing to kill another moment. It commonly views things as threats and tries to use lethal force against whatever it is the Scarab deems an enemy or threat. The Scarab can act on its own accord, however, it typically defers to Jaime. Although, if the Scarab decides to attack on it’s own accord, Jaime can choose to override the action, though currently he is not used to this and as such he sometimes struggles in controlling the Scarab and keeping it at bay. Other than the listed powers, the Scarab has stated that it has much more lethal ‘options’ which are capable of leveling or obliterating entire cities. Should Jaime fall to a body-controlling power, the Scarab will take control of the armor and the mind-controlled Jaime would not be able to do whatever it is the mind -controller wants as it cannot control the Scarab. Some of the Scarab's powers can function regardless of whether the armor is active or not; others, however, only work when the armor is in use.
Artificial Intelligence: Normally, the Reach's command sentience parameters, stored in a Scarab's database, give a Scarab sentience and serve to make it obedient to the Reach. An infusion of magical energies sometime in the distant past altered the Scarab, denying the Reach control. When the Scarab's infiltrator mode was triggered, the Scarab was able to develop its sentience without being in service to the Reach. It also had the opportunity to access the programming of other Scarabs as well. As a result, the Scarab has its own mind, with full access to its own programming,
Symbiotic Synaptic Interface: The Scarab's nervous system is bonded to Jaime's, letting the two share their thoughts and emotions. The Scarab communicates with Jaime as a voice in his mind (which sounds like Jaime's mother). No-one else can hear it. This unfortunately can make Jaime look like a crazy person talking to himself as he hasn't become use to talking with his mind and not his mouth.
Scarab Mindlink: The Scarab can mentally communicate with Scarabs that have not integrated with a host. It can also interface with Scarabs which have created full infiltrators, although this requires Jaime to breach the infiltrator's armor. If Jaime does this he and the scarab can override the Reach's programming to free the infiltrator and give the Scarab it's own artificial intelligence.
Tracking Systems: The Scarab can track anything which produces energy, be it biological, technological or mystical. It can track anyone Jaime met since it bonded with him, from at least seventy miles distant.
Scarab Sight: The Scarab can scan the people Jaime encounters, informing him of any major physical conditions (such as pregnancy or heart conditions). It can identify and scan meta-humans and inform Jaime of their powers, how their powers work and their powers strengths and weaknesses while developing counter-measures against the meta-human. It can identify people related to those it's already encountered via genetic analysis. The Scarab is able to identify thought-patterns, enabling it to see if something is sentient. Seeing and identifying the thought-patterns also helps the Scarab in detecting if someone is lying which is almost always right. This is unfortunate as the scarab tends to view anyone lying to Jaime as threat and tries to either convince Jaime to attack or attempts to attack. It can identify matching energy signatures, letting it see if the energy patterns were developed from the same basis. It can also see extra-dimensional objects. It is continually aware of the electricity in the surrounding environment. It can perceive magic, see how a magical effect can be dispelled, and see through magical concealment. The Scarab's scans can cover at least a five mile square. It communicates the information it gleans to Jaime in a manner he can understand.
Temporal Flux Detection: The Scarab can detect changes in the timeline affecting the Blue Beetle legacy; to Jaime, this manifests as intense static.
Network Connection: The Scarab can establish a connection to communication systems, enabling Jaime to speak to the person on the other end. This means that even without a phone or computer he is capable of say, talking on the phone or having a conversation on skype. It also lets him search computers for any information and being that Reach technology is on the same level as the Green Lantern Corps, having fought them to a stand still, it is safe to say that it can hack into any human tech there is and relay the information to Jaime.
Clothing Manifestation: The Scarab can create clothes for Jaime, apparently from recycled waste and skin, which melt when he takes them off.
Concealment: The Scarab is capable of concealing itself from 21st century technology (though Skeets, from the 25th century, was able to find it). It can shut off cameras and microphones in its vicinity. The Scarab has blocked a magical attempt to probe it, lashing out at the person who tried. It can even conceal itself from radio-waves or sonar tracking it by disrupting the magnetic energy fields and waves around him so that it does not detect Jaime.
Healing - Any damage Jaime receives while in the Blue Beetle armor, disappears once he returns to his normal human form. While in the Blue Beetle armor, not only does he take significantly less damage, but the suit heals itself from minor and even will begin to heal major wounds to the armor.
Host Reconfiguration: The Scarab can modify Jaime's body to a certain extent (e.g., offering to give him extra fingers). As such, this allows him to say, have the scarab make him grow gills to survive under the ocean. Note, this is without the armor on, though he can also do it with the armor on.
Blue Beetle Armor: The Scarab can create a distinctive suit of armor in response to Jaime's thoughts, or when it deems use of the armor necessary. It seems that the range of capabilities of what the armor can turn in to is almost only limited by his own imagination. For example, It is known that he can change parts of his body, while in the Blue Beetle armor, into various weapons or tools. For example, a lock pick, sonic cannon, battering ram, large staple gun, maces, drills, scythe blades or a plasma cannon can all be created on various parts of his wherever he may want it. He usually will choose his hands or arms, though he can form it anywhere should he have to form it elsewhere. If there is any limit to what Jaime can make the Scarab alter his armor into it is not known. Once the Scarab dispels the armor, it retracts back into Jaime's body.
Superhuman Strength - While in the scarab's armor, Jaime has super strength capable of lifting small trucks or stopping a moving train with his hands. (Though he couldn't lift or push the train).
Superhuman Agility - With the armor, Jaime has increased agility that allows him to do things he normally would not be able to do with normal human agility.
Environmental Protection: The armor allows Jaime to survive in a variety of hazardous environments ranging from Earth orbit, to the time-stream, to the Bleed. It can survive extreme temperature and pressure. It can survive the heat and impact of atmospheric re-entry without seeming damage, even when the earth around it has been turned to glass. The protection is enough that Jaime can survive in space or go to the sun without feeling hot. Though jumping into the sun is not highly recommended.
Armor Reconfiguration: The armor can reconfigure itself to create a wide array of tools and weapons, including an energy cannon, a sword and shield, a grappling hook, an energy blaster, claws, wings, and a set of large powered blades attached to the hands, over a foot in length, that can shear through tree trunks with ease. The armor's equipment is mutable to a certain extent, most noticeably in the wings; initially, they were composed of the same solid 'carapace' which comprises the rest of the suit, but later, they began manifesting themselves in the form of a colorless, translucent material. Whether this is because of changes in the suit's capabilities, or because Jaime intended the alteration, has not been made clear. Though he could, if he wanted to, reconfigure it back to the way it was.
Partial Armor Manifestation: Jaime can manifest parts of the armor - like the energy blaster - without needing to manifest the whole suit.
Wing Shields: The armor can create a pair of wings, enabling Jaime to fly and hover. They can also double as shields, should the need arise.
Jet Propulsion: When in flight, the armor can manifest a 'jet engine', enabling Jaime to fly at greater speed, at the expense of close maneuverability.
Energy Manipulation: The Scarab can shape and manipulate the energy it stores for a variety of effects, including energy blasts, energy cocoons, small-scale solid constructs (shields, chains, etc.), and 3-D holograms. Its energy shields can block a Sinestro Corps ring's blasts.
Antagonist Adaptation: The armor can tailor its blasts for use against specific opponents (e.g., Kryptonite radiation against a Kryptonian, suppression blast against a mob). The blasts can penetrate a Green Lantern ring's shield. The armor can call up anti-magic effects against magical opponents. By the Scarab's own estimation, it can even develop countermeasures that can take on the Spectre.
Energy Bubble: The armor is able to create a temporary energy bubble around Jaime and/or people nearby. The bubble shields those inside from outside attacks, but prevents them from leaving. A Flash who tries to vibrate through it will find themselves blasted by the bubble.
Vibrational Frequency Manipulation: The Scarab can negate the vibrational frequencies of extra-dimensional objects, pulling them into this reality. The area of effect of this latter is unknown; it has been seen to affect objects at least the size of Brother Eye. The Scarab can also shift Jaime out of phase with the universe, making him invisible and intangible to anything apart from Reach-tech.
Bleed Diving: Jaime can shift into the Bleed, the space that connects the various universes. He can utilize the Bleed's unique properties for various effects, such as instantaneous teleportation, or shifting back in time a few minutes to appear in more than one place simultaneously. At best, he has only enough energy to dive into the Bleed three times in quick succession.
Translation: The armor can translate Mother Box communication into a form comprehensible to Jaime. It is able to translate any human language as well as thousands of alien languages of planets the Reach has visited.
Waste Disposal: While wearing the armor, Jaime finds that he doesn't need to go to the toilet, though he does still need rest.
Strengths/Abilities: Usually calm, cool and collected. Responsible. Understanding. Wide range of counter-measures provided by the scarab. Jaime also happens to be bilingual as e in fluent in both english and spanish, and usually includes Spanish in every day talk such as 'esse' or 'ay dios mio'. Spanglish!
Weaknesses: Even though he us usually calm, cool and collected, even Jaime is not immune to freaking out or getting angry. It something that happens to everyone, and when it happens to Jaime it is usually a byproduct of being incredibly stressed, which unfortunately seems that the universe wants him to be stressed at the moment. His inexperience as a hero is a huge hinderance to Jaime. There is also his struggle to control the Scarab as well as the hostile nature of the Scarab. Not to mention the fact he has not accepted his 'destiny' or responsibility so to speak as the third Blue Beetle, claiming several times that he is not a hero. He views himself as a normal kid, however, he is starting to warm up to the idea and eventually will become the hero he is destined to be in due time.
Green Lantern Corps: The Scarab sees the Green Lantern Corps as the 'enemy'. In Jaime's first few days as the Beetle, the Scarab did everything in its power to get him away from the Lanterns - up to and including shifting him outside the universe. As Jaime's experience with the Scarab's armor has developed, the Scarab has taken a more aggressive approach against the Lanterns, urging Jaime to kill them and when Jaime declines to do so, it usually attempts to kill them itself in which jaime has a hard time overriding the Scarab. The Green Lantern rings, for their part, fear the Scarab, responding in different ways depending on their wielders. For example, John Stewart's sparks, as if afraid, while Guy Gardner's induced what can only be described as a 'super-migraine', along with an intense desire to kill the Scarab's bearer or host a.k.a Jaime.
Truce With Nature: The Scarab will not hurt nature, or the magical creatures thereof (beings who draw their power from the Green, for example), of its own volition. That means plants as well as beings such as Swamp Thing or Poison Ivy who draw their power from the Green. IF encountered with either, the Scarab will completely refuse, no matter what Jaime does, to hurt the beings, unless the being is trying to kill or hurt Jaime in which it will respond with non-lethal attacks to subdue the enemy.
Alien Sentience: The Scarab's sentience is distinctly alien; while it won't hurt /nature/, it has shown no such reluctance when it comes to humans, being willing to injure or kill them. Fortunately, Jaime has so far prevented it from killing anyone.
Reach Tech: The Scarab's armor can be breached by the weapons of other Scarabs. Equally, however, the Scarab is able to breach other Scarabs' armor.
Magic: While the Scarab is aware of magic, it doesn't understand it. It's able to perceive, absorb, and disrupt magical energies, but little else. As a result, creatures of magic are often a significant challenge. The Scarab can't analyse certain mystical creatures, and so is unable to develop countermeasures for them. When faced with certain other mystical entities, such as the Spectre, the Scarab panics, offering Jaime ever more powerful weapons to take them on such as the weapons capable of destroying entire cities.
Magnetic Shielding: Strong magnetic fields block the Scarab's ability to track DNA.
Dispelling The Armor: Dispelling the armor causes Jaime intense pain, however, with time this has seemed to get more and more bearable as he gets used to the scarab and the scarab gets use to Jaime. Eventually, it will not cause him any pain, however, that is a long, long way away.

History: Jaime was a relatively average and normal high schooler from El Paso, Texas. His family are hard-working and middle-class. The family is christian and had a hard time putting food on the table and paying the bills just like any normal family. His father runs a garage, his mother is a paramedic and his little sister is a brat. He met his two best friends, Brenda and Paco, when he first started school. By both of their accounts he is a good friend, the kind of person who could let them be themselves and who could always make things better. He started skate boarding when he was ten and did normal stuff like play video games and hang out with his friends. As Jaime got older, he wanted to help his family the best he could as he was not blind or dumb, he knew that they were struggling. When he was fourteen he aimed to help his father out at the garage. However, his father, not wanting to see Jaime grow up to fast, turned him down. Jaime was disappointed by this. So he went looking for work elsewhere and got a job at a local McDonalds. His father tried to make him quit the job but Jaime stuck to his guns. His father let him keep the job, but refused to take Jaime's money and made Jaime use or keep it for himself. It wasn't until he was fifteen and a half that his mother would finally convince his father to let Jaime help out. Secretly, his mother had been taking his money at Jaime's request behind his father's back to help put the food on the table. When Jaime was fifteen a gang of meta-humans formed in El Paso calling themselves the Posse who were somewhat bullies in the area. While they would use their powers for good sometimes, they also tended to abuse their gifts and treated their powers as sign that they were better than others. As most of their members were in his local high school he was at odds with them several times, having defended a few of the weaker students from them. Not by fighting, but rather by intervening and talking them down. One day while skate boarding home from school, Jaime took a short cut through an abandoned lot. He fell of his skateboard when the accidentally hit something. When he got up and picked up his skateboard he saw the Blue Beetle Scarab which had fallen there years previous after the Rock of Eternity was destroyed in a battle between SHAZAM! and the Spectre and the contents were spread around the world, which included the Blue Beetle Scarab which Ted Kord had lost there years ago. Intrigued by the object, sixteen year old Jaime brought the scarab home with him. That night, the Scarab came alive, and grafted itself to the base of Jaime's spine, inducing strange dreams in Jaime. When he woke up, he was definitely freaked out by the fact that it was now attached to his spine and he couldn't get it off. Jaime decided against telling his family just yet as he was freaked out. He was became even more freaked out when the Scarab began to talk to him inside his head in a rather homicidal version of his mother's voice. That day after school, Jaime got in trouble with the Posse when one of their members, Probe, magically scanned him having mistaken him fro a magical meta-human. The group asked Jaime to join them, as they had their differences, but the group had sort of began to grow up. Jaime declined as he wasn't too sure of the Posse or the Scarab, which he believed was a magical artifact. Despite his decline, the Scarab did not like being scanned and attacked the Posse. The Scarab nearly killed Probe and easily bested the rest of the Posse. Jaime, scared, ran to protect the Posse members from the Scarab.
The next night Booster Gold sought Jaime out, and took him to meet Batman. Booster had been to the future, where he had learned that Batman would seek out Brother Eye and fail - but he had also learned the Blue Beetle Scarab was the one thing capable of seeing Brother Eye. A bit reluctant, Jaime went into space with Batman and his team ultimately deciding that if he was the only person who could help them he would do whatever he could despite only having the Scarab for two days. The Scarab saw where Brother Eye was hidden, and pulled the rogue satellite back into reality. Jaime, together with Black Canary and Green Arrow, destroyed Brother Eye's dimensional stabilizer, preventing it from escaping outside reality again. Once Batman's team had sent Eye plummeting towards Earth, Khaji Da shunted Jaime outside dimensions itself, seeking to escape the Green Lanterns on the spaceship which it detected as ‘enemies’. Unfortunately, the chaos of the dimensional stabilizer's destruction dilated time for Jaime. As far as he knew, he'd only been outside dimensions a couple of minutes; on Earth, however, a whole year had passed. The next thing Jaime remembered, he came down in the desert outside El Paso and Guy gardener, who’s ring has started acting up making him go check what was happening, what trying to kill him. Once Gardener realized he was fighting a kid he broke off the fight, promising Jaime he would be back. Extremely shaken, paranoid, scared and freaked out, Jaime managed his way back home, only to discover his year-long absence. He went to Brenda’s house only to find that it was boarded up. The Scarab then informed him that it could do a city wide scan for Paco and Brenda. He did so and found Paco who had teamed up with the Posse who had moved on to bigger things. The gang now worked on fake lotteries, smuggling and the the occasional bodyguard work. When he arrived at Paco’s location he realized that La Dama’s thugs were about to capture Paco and Damper, the leader of the Posse, and would have succeeded was it not for Jaime’s timely arrival. He revealed himself as the Blue Beetle to Paco who was overjoyed to have his best friend back. Paco brought him up to speed on everything that happened. In the time he had been gone his father had been crippled and now walked with a cane, Paco had teamed up with the Posse and Brenda had been taken in by her aunt after her abusive father died in a DUI. Jaime asked Paco to organize a meeting with the Posse, however, when the meeting came around Jaime was disappointed. It turned out that Probe, the Posse member he needed to talk to most as he wanted her help in figuring out just what his new power was, had been kidnapped almost a full year ago and brought to Warehouse 13. The meeting was cut short when the Bottom Feeder abducted Damper’s daughter Alina. Despite his problems with the Posse and their past, Jaime agreed to use his locating abilities to help find Alina.
His tracking systems lead him to find Alina and he defeated Bottom Feeder, rescuing Alina. He realized that Bottom Feeder was being controlled by Diviner and that, according to the Scarab, he could permanently slay Bottom Feeder. However, despite Bottom Feeders own wishes, Jaime refused to kill Bottom Feeder as he was not a murderer. Unfortunately, this was also caught on tape and showed on the news. Meaning that the world now knew that there was a third blue beetle. Of course, nobody knew it was Jaime, but still he was expected to follow in his predecessors, Ted Kord and Dan Garret, footsteps. Which was something he was certainly not ready for. In his own time he had the scarab for only a few days! Soon after that, the Posse used Paco's long-term best friend relationship with Jaime to their advantage by using it to convince Jaime to help them locate Probe. The search would lead them to Warehouse 13. While Jaime and the rest of the Posse went in to raid Warehosue 13, Paco was left outside as a lookout. However, he was found out by La Dama’s henchmen. Paco barely escaped with his life as Peacemaker saved him. Jaime and the Posse found that the meta-humans at warehouse 13 were happy there, hidden away from the public and kept safe as well as keeping the public safe from the more uncontrollable ones. Jaime and the Posse managed to convince a good half of them not to stay there as La Dama was bad and wanted all of the meta-humans under her own control for means of power. After talking with Peacemaker, Jaime found out that the Scarab was not a mystical artifact, but rather it was extraterrestrial technology. Jaime revealed his identity to his family and Brenda before he went in search of information about the Scarab, hoping somehow there was a way to get rid of what he called his ‘inner demon’ as he hated the homicidal voice constantly in his head and didn’t feel he was the right man for the hero job. He eventually found Dan Garret’s daughter who believed that she had the right to the Scarab, but let it go being it’s stuck to his spine. Currently, he really doesn’t know what to do. Guy Gardener had attempted to kill him and said he’d be back. Which meant he would probably be back soon. He had helped the Justice League before and now they were apparently trying to kill him. His first thought of who to go to was Batman. He was incredibly smart and the world’s greatest detective. Surely he could figure it out. But being the recent hostility he received from those of the Justice League, jaime figured that Batman, a member of the Justice League, was not exactly the best choice.
