"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Lois changes her hair with the rise of the tide, usually for whatever event she's covering or whatever scheme she has for an undercover shake down. Generally, her hair is a deep, rustic brown and has a natural wave to it. She likes to have it below her shoulders, though she's not against putting it up if it starts to get in her way.
Eyes: Her eyes are a blend of colors, but most of the time people would say they're blue. They're bright and alive, filled with the same journalistic enthusiasm that pumps through her blood.
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 115 lbs
Distinguishing Marks: None
Appearance: Lois is a lean, mean, reporting machine. Well, maybe not mean, but certainly lean. She keeps herself in very good shape, often working out or going for jogs. Coming from a military family, she learned from an early age that it was in her best interest to take care of her body. Not that she wouldn't pig out on pizza or burgers every other night, but hey, no one was perfect. She loves junk food- it makes her feel more at ease, particularly when stuck at her desk on a long work day, fixing up a story. But all the same, she does well to take good care of herself, and while she couldn't claim to be in peak physical condition, she could at least offer one hell of a kick to the balls if needed. And she could run the hell away very well.
Her lean body plays well against her soft, attractive features. She looks young and composed, usually sporting some kind of a cocky smile. Most of the time, she can appear very attractive. A pretty face unsuited for all the seedy areas it sees. No wonder she's always running away from some brutish thug. She has fair skin and silky hair, with bright eyes and full lips. The sheep's skin over wolf's clothing.
As far as fashion goes, Lois loves to keep up with all the latest trends. While she isn't always seen in them, she does feel it's her business to at least be aware of what's circling around, should she ever need to dress for a certain role. She likes fashion, and usually wears nice, snappy outfits while she's at work. However, behind her closed apartment door it's like a whole different person takes over her body. Sweats and socks are more than enough to keep her satisfied. Looking good is more for the people she's around than for her, and not every outfit is the most comfortable. Sometimes it's just nice to kick back.
Woe to the person that sees her in her 'at home' clothes, though.

Personality: Lois Lane is a spit fire. She’s a strong, no-nonsense type who doesn’t take well to being told she’s wrong, or being told that there’s something she can’t do, but someone else can. Her whole life, she grew up on the move, and so sitting still is not really something that works for her.
Of course, that isn’t to say she doesn’t have her moments of weakness. Like anyone, she can feel insecure, scared, or down-right lonely. Even the strongest and most out-going of people have their cloudy days, and Lois Lane is no exception. To help herself escape the realities that sometimes seem a bit over whelming, Lois tends to dive into work, seeking out tough stories that either require a lot of travel, or might be a bit dangerous if not done the right way. She likes being down in the trenches, so to speak. Perhaps something she picked up from her father. Still, even work can’t help her completely forget her concerns. There are days where she wonders about her future. About those softer corners that she dare not deal with normally.
She doesn’t like to show that side of herself to the public, naturally.
Lois is a sarcastic, sometimes domineering woman in the work place, happy to speak with everyone and make all kinds of friends, but don’t you dare get on her bad side or she’ll make you aware of all your faults. You will feel terrible about yourself. Seriously. Just be friends with her. She’s so honest, it can be used as a weapon when she needs it to be. Thankfully, even though she is brash and adventurous, most people find it difficult not to at least tolerate her. Her natural charm wins over the hearts of many.
But no one wants to be paired with her on any kind of article project.
She is a very loyal individual, with a very strong sense of justice. She doesn’t just believe in doing the right thing, she believes in reporting the right things. There is no ‘smudging the truth’ in her book, even if it means putting herself in danger. For her, it’s more important to get the story out. Especially if it has to do with a certain bald man who can sometimes get under her skin. Ruffling his feathers always brightens her day.
All in all, she can be quite the character. Most of the time, she’s the kind of power-woman many aspire to be, and she enjoys that image very much. It helps her keep calm when she’s in dangerous situations, which she ALWAYS seems to find herself in. Whether she puts herself in danger, or happens to be around when something horrible happens, she doesn’t know. All she knows is that she’s happy to have someone around to help her out from time to time.

Powers: None
Weapons None
Strengths/Abilities:
She is skilled in judo and karate, learned from her father. She also learned some weapon skills from her old man, too. She is an extremely talented writer and is willing to do whatever needed to get a good, honest story. Not surprisingly, she’s also very good at acting, always willing to fake her way into secret areas to gather information. She has been a heroine a few times, but for here she’ll be just your normal human.
Weaknesses:
Lois is human. Completely human. That means she can’t really defend herself against most of the super powered beings out. Doesn’t mean she won’t try, of course, but the fact remains that she can do very little if someone can fire energy blasts or fly circles around her.
She had a habit of falling into tricky situations… a lot. She is bold and reckless, and also very bad at keeping her opinions on the down low. All things that make her a target more than anything else. There are a lot of bad people out there who would like to silence her for good.

History: Lois spent her early life on a farm, where she lived with her mother Ella, and her mother Sam. Her father being a military man, she spent a lot of her young life moving around from place to place, never staying long enough to gain good friends or feel like she really belonged in one place over another. It made her a little restless, never one to stay situated, much like in her childhood. However, it also made her start writing. Since she knew she didn’t have a lot of time to get memories, she had started a diary to write them down. Writing moments became writing articles, and a primitive love of journalism was soon born. Through the various moves and relocations, Lucy was born somewhere along the way- Lois’ younger sister. She found it comforting having someone with her all the time, since no one she met in school ever seemed to keep in touch with her once she was gone. It made her feel a little lonely at times, so a sister was a big help. She had to thank her mom and dad for feeling frisky and making her one night.
It was a good decision.
Lois and Lucy grew and went through their school days with relative ease, Lois taking a clear path towards journalism. Even with her father teaching her various martial arts and about the military, her heard had already been stolen away by the media. She spent her high school days trying to get an internship at the Daily Planet, and working for her local newspaper, as well as the school’s newspaper. By the time she graduated, she felt she had already become an accomplished writer.
Then she went to Metropolis to further her attempts to work at the Daily Planet, finding that, despite her confidence in herself, it was difficult to get a job for one of the most popular newspapers around. She struggled for some time before landing a bottom of the rung job for the place, working on filler stories that never seemed to actually make it to the newspaper. She didn’t mind, though, as it was still a story she had written for the paper, even if no one knew it for some time.
Eventually, she climbed the ranks of the paper and became a very prominent reporter, enjoying field work more than anything. Investigative journalism took all the things she had loved about her childhood and tied them all together in a pretty bow. About the only thing she didn’t like with her job was when they hired a new reporter named Clark Kent. He was a clumsy farm boy from some nowhere town, and she didn’t really think she would ever take a shine to him. Even as their relationship grew to a strange friendship, she didn’t want to admit that she could like someone so… weird. When Superman came on the scene, it pretty much made her career all the more intense and fruitful, as she was the first one to name the blue wonder, thanks to the s emblem he wore on his chest. From then on, she became obsessed with heroes and justice, and loves writing stories more centered around them. Not just superman, but all heroes. And all crime, too. She was very interested in blowing the top off of some very hot stories. Sure, it made her kind of a target, but she always felt she could handle herself in a sticky situation. And, hey, at least she had some back up when need be.

Man, why did this kind of thing always happen to her? She had just been walking home after a nice long day at the paper, hardly looking for any kind of trouble. Her article had been submitted and she hadn’t even decided on what her next story was going to be. So there was no reason to go stalking after people, or sniffing around in areas she shouldn’t be in just for the sake of it. It should have been just a nice, quiet walk home to her apartment, where pizza and a comfortable sofa were waiting for her. To think, she could have been watching The Daily Show and kicking off her heels.
Instead, she was hiding in a dumpster with some chick she had never even met before. And why? Because she had seen this girl getting her purse stolen from her a ways down the otherwise empty street and had decided to help. As the man was running by her, she kicked out her foot, tripping him easily and sending him flying into a nearby trashcan. Collecting the purse, she thought that had been the end of it: only hero fan fair waiting for her as she moved back to the woman and returned her purse. How was she supposed to know that the really large thug had come with a plan B? Apparently running away had only been his first idea. He was so strapped for cash, he was willing to come back and trying again.
This time brandishing a knife he hadn’t been that prepared to use until she had pissed him off by knocking him down and making his nose bleed.
So, of course, the chase happened, Lois and the poor girl scrambling away before either could be harmed by the knife. He chased after them, though it was unclear which one he was more interested in at that point- both girls ran together, bound by some kind of invisible string. Lois imagined that, if they had split up, she would have been the one who had the pursuer.
In any case, they both found themselves in a dumpster, hoping the guy had run by without realizing where they had ducked into.
“You should have just let him have my bag,” whispered the stranger, her voice more of a hiss than anything else.
“Well,” huffed Lois in an equally soft voice, “how was I supposed to know that he was going to come back? It always works in the movies.”
“This isn’t the movies!” the woman whimpered, “now what do we do?”
Lois sighed, waiting a moment to listen before she offered a soft response, “I think we should check… I don’t hear him. Peek out and see if he’s gone.” Even in the dark of the dumpster, she could see the horrified look of her trapped companion. Clearly, she was not that eager to follow along with her little plan.
“Are you crazy? You check- you’re the one who caused all this trouble!”
“Fine, fine,” sighed Lois, “then don’t move.” With that, she left the funk of the dumpster behind, peeking up out of the garbage container to see if their threat had done. As luck would have it- No, he wasn’t gone.
He was just looking in their direction, meeting eyes with her as though it had been fated to be right from the start. Frowning, Lois sank back into the dumpster.
“Well?” the woman asked hopefully.
“We should start screaming,” replied Lois.
