Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

With the Fortress of Solitude destroyed Clark needed a new place to call his Kryptonian home away from home and what better place for that then Kent Farm? Ma and Pa were definitely glad to be getting to see more of him lately but they weren't all too thrilled about having the Superman robots and several items from the Fortress being stored here now. But it was temporary, at least that's what Clark told them. He was determined to find a way to restore the Fortress of Solitude back to normal if not better, he just needed time.
It's been several months now since Clark was no longer the last son of Krypton, first Conner, then Kara, now Lor. Clark had spent almost all of his energy avoiding those kids like kryptonite. That was the first big mistake he could have done. He was doing a horrible job being there for them and doing his best to make sure they were taken care of and trained in their powers. He knew others had stepped into their lives the way he should have from the start and he was grateful for that. But it gave him no reason to out right hide from them. Ma scolded him almost every day for it, but damn his hard headedness, he couldn't accept it or get past his own last son of krypton pride to be who they needed him to be.
After having a chat with Pa about things and hearing a few things from him that he never knew about before Clark was stepping up and being who he should have been months ago.
"Conner, Kara, Lor, I want you all to come out to Smallville, Kansas to my parents home. I've been hiding from you all long enough, it's time for us all to get together, like a family should."
The message was simple, it was clear, and it let them know exactly what to expect. He left them all this message by whatever means necessary for them to get it without having the physically deliver it in person. He would be waiting for them here at home, no costumes, just simple jeans and a flannel shirt, everyday stuff. He just needed to go about his business until the three of them arrived. Hopefully none of them would be too upset with him for ignoring them.

Lor's ears perked up as his phone rang, he had just gotten the thing after Kara convinced him that he would need it. Which was weird, because he barely knew how to use it. He touched the screen to see that it was from his fellow Kryptonian Clark, whom he had yet to really come in contact with besides perhaps once before, which was how he had gotten his number. He read the message and caught a few pieces of information, Smallville. That was where he was supposed to be heading. He immediately looked up the town and on a map was able to tell in what direction to go. He grabbed his bag full of clothes and took to the skies.
He kept the map in his hand as he flew through the air effortlessly, his flying skills were coming along nicely. He remembered before when he first began flying that almost nothing would be able to keep him on a straight line. Now however, he could speed up, and slow down at will. So with that being said, he decided to push the ticket and put a move on. As he sped up clouds began to part and he made his way through them continuously looking down for any sites of trouble. As he approached the small town he saw a sign with the name on it. Now the only thing to do was to find the farm. and finding a farm in Kansas was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Lor slowed down to scan the ground as he moved over. He finally spotted his cousin standing outside and landed promptly, shaking the surroundings a bit. ''Hi, you sent a message for me?'', he asked with a grin on his face.

Sure she had met him once or twice but he didn’t seem to want her around, she was doing just fine on her own, she had Sinestro to father her, Eve to teach her female things, and numerous friends who would help her. Sure she might lose her temper every once in a while or lose control of her powers but she always seemed to be around Connor or Lor so they would help her. Kara looked at Jamie and let out a sigh. “I will go, but I will go for Conner and Lor, it’s going to be kinda hard for Conner and he will need me to be there with him.” Walking out of her apartment with her shorts and ted tank top Kara zoomed off in to the sky making her way to Smallville.
Kara landed and looked around. She hoped she was in the right spot. The young girl walked around looking for anyone. Then she came up to Lor and Clark. “Brother Lor!” Kara zoomed at him and hugged him tightly. She was over joyed that she wasn’t the first one there. Kara looked at Lor, he was her cousin but she felt that he was more of a older brother to her, he protected her from a lot and taught her a lot. The two got along great and she loved that. Looking at Clark, Kara was nervous, she kept to staying around lor, waiting for her other brother Conner to show up. Bedsides they were the superkids and they were all kinda close with each other. They did bond a lot since Clark was ignoring all of them.

Post by Conner "Superboy" Kent on Apr 15, 2013 13:07:39 GMT -5
Superboy would be lying if he said that he wasn’t looking forward to what this day had in store for him. Of course, he didn’t really understand everything he was feeling. He felt like a nervous wreck. How was this going to go? What he screw it up? What if something bad happens? He was also excited. He had been waiting for Superman to stop with his half-ass excuses he’d come up with to get away from him. He was finally going to actually get to talk with the man of steel himself. His idol. His genetic template. As Superboy saw it, Superman was the closest thing to a biological father he had. Being he was created in a alb with his DNA. He felt so many different emotions about it all though. And it was all so confusing. Why couldn’t anything ever just be simple? It was getting him agitated. And on the account he was almost always agitated to begin with, that was not a good thing.
Superboy had been on his way to the Kent Farm in Smallville Kansas and he would have been there by now had it not been for some detours along the way. Crime wasn’t coming to a halt just because the Supers’ were taking a break. Most of it were easy things here and there that were dealt with in a split seconds at super speed. However, there was one that was holding him up quite a bit that was causing him to be late. Some super powered dude with super strength. He was a bit of a problem. Though in all honesty Superboy wasn’t fighting at his best at the moment. Namely because he was agitated and he was trying to rush the fight. His mind wasn’t on the fight. He was too focused on what was going to happen at the Kent Farm.
The fight had been going on for fifteen minutes and now Superboy was fed up with the six foot super powered dude. He had turned into a blur of black, red and denim blue as he grappled his opponent and began to run at super speed heading from Metropolis to Smallville Kansas. It didn’t exactly take long to get there, though he was flung from his opponent by a punch and both of them went tumbling away from each other on the Kent farm. Superboy stood up from the ground and barred his teeth angrily. His steely blue eyes locked onto his opponent who had begun to get up a little ways away in the drive way leading up to the farm. As Superboy made it to the man he kicked him in the stomach as he tried to get up. Not with his super strength though. Just hard enough that he tumbled onto his back. Superboy placed his entire shin and knee on the man before he began to choke him with his right hand until he passed out. Superboy stood up with a huff of breathe still agitated from the annoyance and inconvenience of the fight. He spotted the others and began to walk towards them while brushing off dust and dirt from his clothing, though there was a couple of small rips on his shirt and his jeans from the battle. He was wearing the same thing he always did. His black t-shirt with the red House of El symbol on it tucked into a pair of jeans and a belt tucked into a pair of combat boots. He walked up to the group like everyone else had done exactly the same thing and stopped and crossed his arms with his resting facial expression that always looked a bit agitated, stern, stoic and completely with a small frown.

Brash. Shy. Messy. Three words Clark would use to describe each of his relatives based on their respective entrances. He would need to teach them all individual lessons if they were to do what he needed them to do. Nevertheless each of them answered his call, something he was surprised they would so quickly do even after all he had, or hadn't done for them. It really took them all little time to get here, yet they all seemed to come from different places. He looked at each of them slowly, carefully, just admiring and observing what the next generation of his race had blessed the universe with. They would all notice the way he was looking at them but none of them should feel like he is judging them or looking down upon them. He saved Superboy for last since out of the three he felt he had failed the most.
"Superboy..." He said softly as he stepped off the front porch and walked towards the trio, but towards Superboy specifically. He stopped when he was standing directly in front of him and the pair would share an exchange of silent staring at one another. Clark was merely admiring the young clone who as far as he was concerned was his son, by choice or not did not matter. Clark reached out and placed a hand on Superboy's shoulder and held it there approvingly.
"Superboy if you're going to live up to your namesake you should learn a very valuable lesson here and now, and this goes for you two as well. No matter who you fight, no matter where you are, always, always try to keep collateral damage down to a minimum. We may have incredible powers but that does not mean we should throw them around or cut loose at our leisure. Wait here, I'll be right back."
Clark would then walk over to the big guy that Superboy so nicely dropped in the front yard and lifted off the ground with him and was gone in the blink of an eye. A few seconds later Clark would be touching down on the ground gently in front of them where he was standing just moments before. He had a humble smile on his face as he looked at the trio again.
"Now don't think I brought you all here to lecture you and tell you how to do your jobs, that is the last thing I intend to do today. The reason I asked you all to come here today is because in one way or another I was supposed to be someone important to you, a part of your life in a role that each of you hold dear and important to you and in fact, I have failed to be what each of you need and want me to be. Now I could stand here and make up excuses for my failures but that'd be a waste of time, it's plain and simple, I failed each of you and for that I cannot apologize more. From the bottom of my heart I feel terrible for what I've done and I wish to make amends with you all and finally be the man I should have been the moment you each arrived on Earth."
Clark stopped giving them the big speech and waited to see if they had anything to say, he was certain they would, Lor most likely, Kara possibly after all that, Superboy, if he did it would probably be something angry. Regardless of what they had to say or how they said it, Clark deserved every ounce of hate and resentment they would dish out at him. Before they could really get a chance to go further into their little get together there was a loud barking coming from inside the house. Clark turned around to see Krypto come flying out of the house wearing one of his capes a moment later and land on the ground by him and look at him and then the three kids.
"Krypto! Bad dog, that's my cape, dogs don't wear capes!" Clark yelled at the dog as he just stood there wagging his tail in amusement while looking at the trio of kids still. He would walk up to Kara and start sniffing at her before jumping up onto her to start licking her. Lor and Superboy seemed to no longer have his attention at that point, Krypto seemed very fond of Kara already.
"Looks like someone made a new friend already." Clark smiled at Krypto being Krypto and then clapped his hands and Krypto stopped before bolting for Clark at super speed and flying into his arms. The kids would watch as Krypto knocked Clark back and the two would play like a typical master and pet would play, only on a Kryptonian level. After a few minutes things would die down and Clark would go and sit on the front porch steps and Krypto would lie next to him to get petted for the rest of the time.
"Come and sit down, no need to be formal, after all my home is your home now. I want us all to be a family like we should have been from the start, I've been putting a lot of thought into this long before deciding to call you all here. Kara, you are my cousin and were supposed to be my guardian when I was sent here as a baby, but fate had other things planned and now I am the elder cousin, regardless of that fact I would be honored if you took me back into your life as the cousin I know you wished for me to be. Lor, I know that we are cousins and that your father is well, not the best of people out there, I've thought long and hard about this, and if you would like, I would be willing to adopt you as my son. Superboy, before you get upset I saved you for last for a reason. Up until you were born I was the last son of krypton, but now the son has become the father, your origins do not define you, your genetics are merely the stamp of the legacy you will leave behind. Cadmus may have created you for their purpose, but you are here of your own free will, and regardless of any of that you are my son, you always have been. Now if each of you is willing to let me back into your lives I have some people I'd like for you to meet and then I have a proposal to give all of you. But like I said before, it's completely up to you."
There it was, the big reveal, the big admittance, and hopefully the moment things with them finally fell into place like they showed have months ago. He just hoped they wouldn't hate him more after all this.

Lor listened for a moment before he even began thinking about what Clark was saying. What duties had he forsaken? They were children by Earth standards, but Lor knew that he was more than mature enough to handle himself. Clark's offer still held value though, he found many nights that he was alone, and nobody was as important as family. His son? That struck him as particularly surprising, he hadn't ever had anyone to call ''dad'' since he arrived on this planet. Sure the monks did the best they could providing him with numerous positive male role models, but nothing like a father.
He refrained from speaking until his cousin was done talking, and even then he retained his silence because he had no idea what to say. He could have said something, but the tension was high enough, and he knew there were some things he should just left unsaid. Clark wanted nothing but to help, and Lor was not about to stop him just because he had fallen short in his first attempts. The monks taught him forgiveness, he whom angers you controls you in a sense. So as this was true, Lor decided he would be completely fine with being Superman's adopted son. The monks did well, but he needed an adult kryptonian to show him the full extent of his powers, to teach him things he would need to know to be the hero he wanted to be.
This meant he, Conner, and Kara would be brothers and sister. Weird, considering he and Conner didn't much get along. But he would do his best for their family. The young man was indeed, not a full blooded kryptonian, but he was Kal's clone, so that was good enough for Lor.

She was glad that the two boys were here. She knew they didn’t get along and she hoped that they wouldn’t start anything today. Once Clark had took the guy away she looked at both of her Superbrothers and smiled. “I am really glad to see you both again.” Her voice was just as loving as it always was. Once Clark landed back on the ground he began talking about how he was in the wrong. Kara didn’t mind, everyone messes up. Even when he wasn’t their Kara found others to be with, she met a wonderful man named Sinestro that took her under his wing and helped her out when Clark wasn’t around. Sinestro became Kara’s family until she met Superboy, and even if SB didn’t fully understand her, Kara would love him anyway. Then there was lor, Kara found both Superboy and Lor brother figures in her life.
There it was, a bark and a cape. It was a puppy, a cute white puppy and to karas enjoyment the dog liked her. Kara had a dog of her own and she thought of how much Jamie the Superpuppy would like Krypto the Superdog. Kara petted on the puppy and until Krypto went to play around with Clark. Soon the young girl was floating like she seemed to do on a daily bases. Soon Clark and Krypto sat down and kara just floated. Then he brought her up, sure it was her job to protect him when he was little but the time thing made the whole thing wrong but she was fine with it now. “My family always has room for more.” Kara said giggling, she sure was quite the loving type and everyone deserved a second chance. She then looked at Lor and to Superboy. This was just going to get better for everyone now, Kara pulled a bag of gummies out of her pocket and offered to share her gummie delights.

Post by Conner "Superboy" Kent on May 9, 2013 13:21:22 GMT -5
Superboy wasn’t sure why Superman was staring at them all in . . . that way. It was unsettling if he were to be honest. He couldn’t decipher why the man was looking at them like that. It was strange and Superboy had never quite grasped the whole ‘emotions’ thing. He couldn’t decipher the cryptic messages they seemed to carry. Superboy was certainly surprised that Clark addressed him first. Even on his usually stoic face it showed though only for a moment. So far he had done everything to avoid him. He had been certain he would have addressed Kara or Lor first. He was listening attentively and paying attention so much that for the moment he had forgotten about his anger, distrust and discontent with Lor.
Superboy took in everything the man said before he went over to deal with the criminal he had dropped. It took a lot for Superboy to take advice from people. So far most people he had dealt with had wronged him. He had a deep-laden distrust and proclivity towards doing things his way and not listening to others. In a sort of devil-may-cry way. But this was Superman. He had looked for the man of steel for guidance and for a mentor. It wouldn’t make sense not to take the guidance he had sought. As he absorbed what Clark had said he was reminded of how Lor decided to barge through the wall of Clark’s apartment during their first encounter. He narrowed his eyes slightly though he didn’t look at Chris. He simply looked over the fields thinking about how this must of been where Clark had grown up. This was his first time being there. It was also his first time seeing crops and fields. Sure he had images implanted into his head by Cadmus. But he had never actually seen it. Personally he liked it a bit. It was more peaceful. Quieter. Not as confusing. There was something simplistic about it all. Not like the loud booming city that was Metropolis with loud noises, clubs, towering skyscrapers, crowdedness and thousands of large signs. It was nice to get away from that. Superboy gave a nod of acknowledgement to Kara in response to what she said.
It hadn’t take Clark long to deal with the man as he was back in a matter of seconds. His eyes moved to Clark as he began to listen to everything he was saying once again. He was conflicted as to whether he wanted or didn’t want to have a lecture about crime fighting from Clark. Part of him really, really wanted that. He could feel it. It was one of the few things he was able to distinguish. But then there was the other large part of him that hated being told what to do and what not. The rebel or devil-may-cry side. The teenager in him perhaps. But he was still eager to learn from the Man of Steel. He felt a bit better with Clark admitting his wrongs and being the man about it. However, right after that initial feeling another thing set over him. He still had so much of his anger built up. He had directed so much of it towards Superman for failing him like cadmus had. Both had angered him so much. But now . . . there was still so much anger! Who was he supposed to direct it at? Where was it all supposed to go? The conflicting feelings were clear on his face as if he were struggling with a hard decision. How could Superman do that? Just be the bigger man like that?! What was he supposed to do now?! Where was this anger going to go? Meanwhile, Superboy felt relieved that Superman wasn’t ignoring him. That he was confronting him.
Then something happened that began to aggravate Superboy. Krypto and Clark seemed to take a break from the speech to play. It particularly angered him because he was so nerve-wracked by this encounter as well as heavy anticipation for whatever it was that was coming next. He didn’t know of anyone who had stepped in Lor’s life though the two didn’t engage in much civilized conversation. He knew of a few in Kara’s life, though he had only met Sinestro. He held a bit of a grudge at the man, but he wasn’t one of the confusing people in his opinion. He didn’t wear all of those confusing emotions on his sleeve the way that some others such as Kara did. So in that case he was more than just tolerable. He might actually prefer working alongside him than other heroes. But Superboy himself? No one had stepped into his life. Not that he was very open or anything. He wasn’t exactly laying out a welcome matt. He had been distant from Kara. He had gotten in a full blown fight with Lor in the middle of Metropolis. Superboy hadn’t had anyone step in for Clark’s role like Sinestro had for Kara.
Superboy, hesitantly, followed over to the porch where Clark was. He leaned on one of the railings and stood up with his arms crossed. Superboy listened to Superman’s words getting more and more aggravated as it went on. In Superboy’s mind he deserved to be first! Kara was his cousin. She had a family on Krypton. Personally he knew nothing of Lor’s background. He had never even heard the name Zod. His distrust, resentment, anger and discontent towards the teen was based on their first meeting. He was Clark’s genetic clone though! And he was the youngest. The one who needed the most guidance! Kara had Sinestro and Daisy and her parents back on Krypton! Lor had had the monks! Who had Superboy ever had? The Cadmus scientists?! They could rot in the deepest, darkest, hottest part of hell. He wanted to burst with anger but he listened to Clark first. His words calmed him. He felt something inside of him. He didn’t really know what it was. He didn’t like it though. It felt . . . weird. Strange, abnormal even. He didn’t like it because of that. In truth it was a good emotion. Jsut one he hadn’t felt yet. It made him . . . emotionally queezy? On the inside at least. And happy. But a weird happy. Like finally achieving something you had wanted for many years. He hadn’t been alive for years but this was what he had wanted his whole life so far. To be accepted by Superman. The thing that touched him the most, even more than Clark calling him his son, was his disregard of the fact he was a clone. He had been struggling with the whole clone thing. He wondered if he they were going to try and give him a human name like Clark had. He didn’t know how he felt about that. Whatever it was it would be an alias. A fake name. It wouldn’t be who he is. His birth name, his only name, was Superboy. Lor didn’t respond, though Kara seemed to immediately forgive. For Superboy it wasn’t a means of forgiveness. It was a means of showing emotion. He didn’t know how to react. Superboy looked away as Kara offered him the gummies as tons of emotions, thoughts and what not zoomed through his head. He felt it was going to explode at any given moment.
