Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

There was screaming everywhere. Horror and turmoil filled the streets of the small, out of the way town Black Hand had discovered. The locals wailed and screamed in their desperation, little realizing that what awaited them was so much greater than the lives they wanted to preserve. that was fine- humans rarely understood what they really needed. He was all too happy to enlighten them.
And murder them- that was fun, too.
He watched as his collection of mindless zombies attacked the town, killing people who had been so peacefully living in their delusions not that long ago. While they weren't the brain-eating monsters often depicted in movies, they were pretty damn close. The ripped up flesh, the rotten skin, the visible bones... it was all there, and not in some kind of silly film. He imagined the townsfolk had to be very surprised to see such beings actually coming for them. In fact, they hadn't seemed fully sure that it wasn't some kind of prank at first. They had met the horde with confusion on their faces, like they expected some teenagers to start laughing and pulling their masks off. When the first of his minions attacked, however, the mood quickly changed. That uneasy tension shifted right into the terror he had been more readily anticipating.
And from there, the chaos simply broke through the whole of the small town. Humans were practically scrambling over one another to save themselves. It was always so amusing to him. Some humans fought tooth and nail to save the ones they loved, while others only seemed to care about themselves, abandoning their friends and family for the best chance at escape. It was useless. You couldn't escape death. It was simply impossible. Still, it amused him that they all fought so hard, selfishly or not, for something as worthless as life.
That was the part he really couldn't agree with.
He landed almost gracefully on the trampled dirt, the villagers screaming all around him as they tried to find the best route to take for a successful escape. Little did they realize they would not be getting away. They would all die, and their hearts would feed his ring: empower it. It was no shame to him that they had to die to give him the power he would need for his greater tasks. Actually, he was kind of having fun. He kneeled in front of a man who had been too injured to run, smiling at him almost warmly before diving his hand into the man's chest. Enjoying the gurgles of the man as he died, Black Hand felt the power of death seep into his ring.
It was going to be a very good day.

Captain Rogers had been present at the Moscow Kremlin, meeting with the Russian President. He sat in his office on one of the sofas, listening to the Russian language exchanging from a politician and the president himself. It was weird, because the president seemed more honored to meet him rather than it being the other way around. Steve was very obliged to be sitting in the same room as the President of the Russian Federation. The patriotic hero was honored to help out the Federation, and would continue until helping others until he was dead. After the meeting was over, Steve and the high ranking SHIELD Agents escorted the hero to the helicopter. After one last wave to the president, the helicopter was airborne.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Steve looked out the window, glancing at the clouds as each of them passed. He then took a second to look at his crew-mates, but for some reason they were acting very strange. Within seconds of being in the air, the helicopter quickly jeered back around. "Sorry Captain, we have direct intel from Nick Fury that something is attacking the city of Moscow and we're being asked to help out to keep the peace" he'd spoken. Steve looked from the pilot, back to the window to try and get a view on 'what' was attacking the country's capital. He only hoped it wasn't another Chitari invasion. After being at an estimated 6000 feet, Steve knew there was no time to land the aircraft. He quickly unbuckled his seat belt and stood up, "Okay, I want you three to come with me... We need eyes on the situation, and need to find out what is going on below us." The captain threw on his Kevlar mask, along with his parachute. The agents followed, throwing on their parachutes and arming themselves to the bone.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
The Captain slid open the helicopter doors, letting the immediate change in pressure hit him in the face. Cap grabbed his shield and turned around to eye his comrades, "ALRIGHT PEOPLE, THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A DAY OF RELAXATION BUT IN THE END A SUPER HERO NEVER HAS A DAY OF RELAXATION, AS SOON AS WE HIT GROUND, I WANT YOU TO CONFIRM YOUR STATUS AND MEET ON MY LOCATION... I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE GOING TO FIND DOWN THERE, BUT GOD BE WITH US ALL!" he yelled trying to speak over the gusty winds. Steve saluted to his squad mates and threw himself overboard letting his body soar in the air. He quickly nose-dove in an attempt to speed up the falling process. Each minute that went by, meant countless lives would've been lost. Cap would've had the Avengers team on call, just in case things got out of hand. As the earth became clearer by the second, Captain America, pulled the straps of his parachute, and slowly began to descend upon the Earth's biosphere. He looked up to make sure his fellow soldiers were behind them and sure enough, all three had their parachutes out successfully.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Steve landed with both feet on the pavement, expecting to see the Chitauri. His eyes widened at the site of what seemed to be a horror movie. He quickly rubbed his eyes in disbelief of what he was seeing. Zombies. With all three agents landing near his position, they also became struck with utter shock. "Is this some kind of sick joke?" one of the soldiers asked as he aimed down the sites of his M4 rifle. Steve didn't pay attention to the zombies, but eyed what seemed to be a creature delving his hand into the chest of a civilian. "Everybody take point!" he yelled as he slung his shield at the creature that was harming the innocent civilian.

Black Hand dropped the human his ring had just fed on, turning his head to look at the newcomers. Four humans were sent in to try and stop him? They would soon find themselves nothing but food for his lanterns, and his own ring would get a change from their deaths. Maybe he would make the part of his horde- he enjoyed stealing people are some kind of importance, like member of the military and fallen heroes. It made it feel more like his world was the better of the worlds, if even their mighty figures joined him.
Not that they had much of a choice, of course.
He turned his sights from the descending humans to the shield that seemed to be flying his way. Though he didn't have to worry about it, he didn't raise any kind of shield with his ring to block the attack. Instead, he let it smack him right in the head, knocking off a chunk of his skull and sending him to the ground with a gurgle and a heavy thud. For a moment, the zombies around him stopped moving, though they didn't fall to the ground along with him. Instead, they just sort of stood their like they had suddenly forgotten what it was they were supposed to be doing. With their master dead, they didn't have much in terms of brain power to fend for themselves .
However, it wasn't long before they started to move again, their bodies springing back to life all at once, the connection with their undying master restored. And Black Hand himself pushed himself off the ground, smiling as he dusted off his knees and arms. "That is a very strong weapon you have there," he commented lightly, before turning his head to look back at his attacker. He didn't know much about Captain America, but he had read some thing about him from the Daily Planet. An interesting being from the other dimension.
He would make a good Black Lantern.
Smiling, he watched the other, apparently unaware that a portion of his head was now missing, and one of his eyes was dangling freely at the side of his face, bouncing against his cheek whenever he took a step towards Captain America. He didn't mind the sensation of pain flooding through his body- it was delicious. How he loved death, even his own! Sometimes he just liked to let the people trying to fight him get away with a murder or two, just so he could feel the thrill of losing his life. Death truly was the best thing in the universe, and soon he would share it with everyone.
"I don't know why you're here," he told the blue suited man, "but I would be happy to make sure you don't leave."
While he spoke, his zombies moved in on the other three men of the Captain's team, every undead body reaching to try and rip the still living humans apart. Most of the people in the town had already either died or been turned into a zombie as well by Black Hand himself.
It was just too much fun not to.
