Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Loki only continued to smirk, he had no need to answer her question about pain. In fact had there have been any he would have shown it. That was one feeling he did not take well, pain. Though Loki had not been in quite as many situations as Thor had. He was no warrior. His places was not in the heat of battle like those who went berserk for carnage and war. Loki would always carefully place calculated blows from a distance anytime he fought beside his not brother.
Those days were over. gone to the wind like ashes. He had been burned in a different way. Here upon Midgard, Loki was stronger, there was no need for cautious actions against the mortals. He could easily take any physical blow they could give and merely scoff at it. "No, it did not. My own magic cannot be used to hurt me." That had only been such a small fraction of his actual untapped power. Loki's smirk did not fade as she took his hand. Of course a midnight dance for two on a balcony was better the one cooped inside.
He once again scanned the skyline after taking she took his hand before running his own across her side. Music? I could perhaps. He spoke as he began to sway to an imaginary melody in his head, though nothing was actually audible.
However it seemed from the look of the events that night. You enjoyed the destruction better then this. Not that I am complaining either way, though it was never my intention to draw such attention to myself."
He knew that his actions that night were not the best way in handling the situation, but it would have mattered little in the end. There had been others who decided to place attack upon the Ball. He had only started it all sooner.
Loki could not have known that other were plotting such things or that the agency with a direct line to the Avengers would be in attendance. That was nothing more then the unpredictability of chaos. However the volatile combination that it made was perfect.
Except Loki did not know what happened to her that night. His own actions resulted in getting captured himself and fighting his not-brother. How exactly did you escape that night at the ball?

Magics and mystics were lost within their time. Before the dawn of technology, before man became what is considered advanced, did they once practice the art of magic; the worshipping of deities such as the one before her. Then hunted down and burned for witchcraft in the name o the church; in the name of the Christian god. A religion that ruled the age currently though no person had seen the father of Christ while The God of Chaos stood before her; the God of Thunder shown at the ball. Such hope the humans placed in a faceless father.
Her eyes drifted shut as she felt his hand move along her side, her feet took the steps to close any distance. She wanted to be as close to him as she could. She smirked with her head bowed slightly. The destruction at the ball was quite intense and Dom had taken a seat to watch it all. To watch the heroes of SHIELD and the world alike to come together to battle a force they hadnt the manpower to defeat. It must have been why Thor had showed, so that the heroes of the earth stood a chance rather than being annihilated by a wave of a hand. They had been the ones who instigated the events, not Loki. Well not much.
"I'm not a very good person by their standards. Watching them tremble was highly entertaining. They stand to take everything away from me, from my family." She spoke as she summed those heroes into one. She had Batman and the Bat family that wanted nothing more than to end organized crime within Gotham. But with the cities rogue gallery Dominique not only knew but felt it was only a matter of time before someone decided Batman wasn't doing a good enough job. It was why she put money into the attacks, to fund whatever item or to make sure one was in the appropriate area.
She inhaled deeply as he asked about the ball. He was busy with Thor while Dom endured the effects of Crane's fear toxin. She watched as each of the rogues from her city waited for their turn in torture. Even Batman had stepped up to the plate in her hallucinations and kept her alive so that the pain of the villain's torture would continue. Sadly that wasn't the only time she felt the Fear Toxin. Just as in her father's case, Dominique had the terror gas manage to hold on either within her brain or spinal cord. Random moments could be interrupted so that her fears would come alive, possibly put her in check or to make her answer for her sins. She flicked her head to the right, a wave of obsidian went over her shoulder as she looked up at him though it was obvious it wasn't a memory she was fond of.
"I... Scarecrow released fear toxin." She started, her tongue licked her lips as she cleared her throat. "I was seated somewhere in the room, my greatest nightmare in my face." She spoke with anger littered in her voice. "SHIELD took me because I was dancing with you initially. It took five days for my mind to go back to normal. One my workers came in and interviewed me, questioned." She spoke before her voice became hardened once more. "I gave the locations of the attacks and sent them to their deaths." Her lips moved in a smirk, happy with what she had done with that event though the toxin still plagued her thoughts. "Then Bane got me out. Sweet and simple."

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
The Ball had been nothing short of just a game to him in its early stages. A predisposition to inspire chaos and war. Of course, it was all but fun until Thor arrived. His friends, The Avengers, if that is what they called themselves. He could have easily dispatched them, would have. However he simply chose to toy with them, to play with them and prove his point of showing them just how useless of how all of their so called advances were.
"I was correct to assume then that you do not care what others of your kind think of you Loki stated rather idly, quite to himself more so then directed to her. Apparently whatever she had done was enough to draw the attention of these mortal heroes. Yet again, another impressive feat for a mortal. To command such power, respect and fear from her known enemies that they would not dare make a move upon her in public venue.
There was a notable change in her features however at his question. Apparently her escape was not as easy as he had assumed. Loki's own was rather tiresome and once again humiliating. He had been locked away with only himself with the punishment of others hanging over his head.
Loki had been so close to achieving his ends that day but he could retrieve nothing from the vault. A hasty retreat was forced at the hands of his daughter who only cared for his well being in the matter. Though the voice in his mind had told him to end the game between himself and Thor. Even though his adoptive mother was caught in the cross fire. She had never been quite so privy to view the change that over took Loki after his leave from Asgard.
Loki listened to her words intently. So this is what caused to humans to attack each other like crazed cattle. This Scarecrow person attacked their minds and let that do the work. Brilliant really. Its affects seemed to be prolonged and quite interesting. However Dom's features changed back to what they had once been, a smirk akin to his own.
I assumed they would make such a move. They think they know of my actions and motives. However, it seems regardless of my own the gala would have been interrupted regardless. Their facilities are on the other hand, lacking in quite a lot. As a being such as this Bane can break in and out with little issue. He paused for a moment, "These things will only continue to happen if you chose to be around me like this.

DOMINIQUE FALCONE DOM He had gotten that assumption correct. Her lips twitched in reply though she remained silent. She couldn't afford the thoughts of others in a life that dealt with sin of different types. Greed, pride, lust, gluttony. She was the dealer in this arms game. She was one of the many who gave The Dark Knight work, to ensure his bones do not decay. And here stood the God of Lies, of Chaos and Mischief. His existence, what he symbolized, was rich within her life well before the worlds merged and introduced all the new players. She didn't believe in fate that their paths would cross, it was all in happening. A happening she had begun to quite enjoy. Dominique didn't think she would see him after the ball; a human to a god. One who seemed to have so much upon his shoulders just in his distant gaze. But she enjoyed surprises.
The smile upon her face remained. Bane had been one of the first Rogues she had reached out to. To unite their common interests for a greater purpose. Take out SHIELD and all those who threatened to take Gotham from any outsider. This was their town but her city and that's how she would forever see the situation. The Joker was too much of a loose canon to depend on though she was needed of him for the time being. His story of his scars was too familiar to her past, a man disappeared who worked for her father that she happened to fancy. But all he spoke was lies and that was all it would forever be. Though with Bane came Scarecrow, the man who preyed on fear; the man who ruined her mind- in her opinion.
"Even if their facilities were at their best, it won't stop Bane," She spoke with a hint of something so small. Was it fear? No. It was the acknowledgement that it would be her against him at some point, once all of this is done. She knew what he was capable of given his domination of Gotham, so unexpected and sudden. It just meant Dominique had to stay five steps ahead of Bane. Her eyes flicked to his, what things? "Well I don't know, I figure I can get myself into enough trouble with or without you around. Bad things don't worry me." Her finger traced down the leather of his clothes, her eyes following.
"Happening upon something I want more than anything and not getting it," She spoke as she looked once more at his face. "Worries me more than anything." She said with a small exhale, her lips pursed at the end. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, tints of blue look at this lips then back to his eyes. "Though maybe I should be worried about your title of 'God of Lies'. This isn't some 'oh let's fuck with a human's head due to my boredom' thing, is it? I don't have time for that if it is." She spoke bluntly then furrowed her brow and looked to the left. Was it improper to speak to a God like that?

Though Loki was quite capable of easily prying into the mind of mortals he did not. There was nothing he wished to know that it appeared she would not affirm in one way or another, such actions also took away from the thrill of it all. There was no fun in possibly having something with even a human when he knew every twist and turn. Mentally acknowledged that the chemistry was rather undeniable.
Though he had assumed after he was taken back to Asgard there would be no time for such foolishness. His fear of his employers had yet to be realized, they did not come for him as they did last time. Loki had been left to his own volition as to how exactly he was to escape. An it was unexpected, but it worked. He now found himself in possession of time. Waste-able time.
Loki knew nothing of the rouges here, nor did he care to. From what he gathered they were all men, mortals with gimmicks and costumes. He could recall his own run in with joker, the man had tried to kill him multiple times and only succeeded in failing each time. The clown man had only accomplished having himself thrown over a car and slammed into a wall.
The trickster himself nothing short of amused. Granted the gas used only accomplished in making the god sneeze later on in the night. Rather annoying really.
"It matters not really, I was simply able to walk in unnoticed by any of their security measures simply take back my property and well." he laughed softly for a moment before continuing, "I left their facility in ruin. There is nothing they can do to prevent such things. As advanced as your human technology is, it does not account for the might of magic" there was simply nothing it seemed in the human technology that could. Had the species just ignored it or continued to believe it a myth?
"They do not? " Loki questioned, it was strange, he could not understand that a being so frail would not, or claimed to not worry about what could kill them. An yet not receiving what she had her eye on was a cause for fright. It was fascinating really. His green eyes watched her finger trace the studded leather edge of the jacket.
The Trickster simply laughed at the statement, no, this was not one of those cases. "I would not have wasted this much of my time if it was only a simple trick for my own disturbed sense of amusement" it was rather bold for a human well aware of who they were in the presence of to sway such a thing, to know that the being they we're around could tear them apart at so much as a whim.
He narrowed his gaze for only a moment when she turned from him. "I may be of tricks, chaos and lie, but I would not be here, right now if it was only just that."

DOMINIQUE FALCONE DOM
"You're the first person I've met capable of magic. Odd things walk the city," She began, her expression relaxed as she spoke nonchalantly. "Like Killer Croc or Man-Bat, but they are just mutations of extremes. When the world's merged it brought a lot of things I never thought existed. I'm not sure at all how much darker the shadows have become but I can only imagine that while you're powerful there are things that..." She shook her head as she realized she had been running her mouth in weird analogies. "There's always a bigger shark and now I think about what I have to do in order to make sure I'm not eaten. It wasn't like this before." Dominique spoke. It was one of the first negatives she had voiced about the new world and her own coming together- Other than SHIELD and their heroes of course. But realizing that it brought along heroes and villains that were so much more than what her own world had seen. Than what she had seen.
And compared to what was in her world alone, Dominique was a child. Gotham was her concern, other pieces of New York and the East coast as well. It was quite possibly ignorance to it all, or blissfully unaware. Did she really want to tangle herself in the affairs of the world, of the new world? She wanted to be tangled up in Loki, without question, just not the hazards of everything else. Though wasn't that a paradox in itself? It was eventual. Dom knew that as of present the two were tied into things far deeper than the other knew. She was curious as to his business but she respected the privacy and the secrecy needed. The burst of wind rolled through the open balcony causing her hair to sway slightly. Her blue eyes drank in the image of the God until she was swimming. Her tongue brushed her inner cheek.
"No. Bad is inevitable. For each success there will be someone plotting a demise. With it being inevitable, wasting time worrying gets in the way of enjoying now. Enjoying you, enjoying me. You get the whole shebang," She teased with a smile, her nose scrunched and brows raised momentarily as she emphasized the 'shebang'. "You do your best and if someone is better, well, then you look at their weaknesses and blindside them until they aren't breathing." There were many throats that had to be cut in order for the Falcone family to use them as stepping stones. Others had power before her father and Batman as well as the Dent Act took it away from the Falcones. Though through the steps listed organized crime had become a major problem for Gotham once more. It only helped Dent had gone crazy in the end rather than the law remaining intact due to a lie.
When she heard his laughter it caused her to look back at him, her lips still pursed though her eyebrows were relaxed. Controlling her mouth was something she wasn't use to do nor did she think she needed to begin. If she were meek and afraid to talk to Loki then she hardly believed he would have danced with her at the ball. No, she had purpose and confidence. She knew no limits, no boundaries or heart that she couldn't have if she wanted it. Even with her heart at a quicker pace currently from just being in front of him, she was determined to have control over herself. She was sure he had enough women willing to drop to their knees and profess their love followed by some lewd act. She watched a lightning bug illuminate, his accent filled her ears like a song. She looked back at him with a serious expression, as if she was attempting to figure out if it was truth or a lie.
"Then what is it?" She asked simply, calmly. She'd like to know. Dominique felt it showed that she was clearly attracted to the God; it was he who remained reserved, so stoic. So royal.

"Really.... You have not seen such things before?" This was indeed interesting. He was slightly perplexed by such a notion, a life without magic. Or even knowing of its existence was un thinkable. His looked reflexed such. Her words however were true, even for himself. Granted he was a one of the sharks, but he had found bigger.
Gotten himself entangled in things that he did not understand at first. Things that he would have rather not known. Beings he would have rather not have known existed. Loki had been ensnared like a trapped coyote, they merely freed him from one trap and placed him in their own. He could sympathize with the statement, "I know of the man in the clown theme. He is rather amusing at times. Especially while being thrown across a street. His rather amused tone, a stark comparison to the dark void in his mind upon the previous subject. Though he did not wish to dwell on it.
Though without worry there was no survival, there was no forethought into what actions may lead to what repercussions. Loki at his core was a schemer. Every step against his enemy was carefully planned, taken into account of their possible reaction. It was all just an elaborate game of chess to him. Except it was playing for keeps this time. He was fighting a loosing match. He knew it to be truth, having already paid the price for his first failed plan.
It had been the question that followed that returned the trickster to his darker thoughts. What was he doing here, he had acted upon a whim appearing. Similar things he had done before in the past with others of the fairer sex, but never mortals. He left that to the gods that wished it. He was not like Thor, who in the dark ages saw fit to make appearances, summon storms and cause the mortals to fall at his feet for his own since of vanity and ego.
As where Loki would cause whatever he could to disrupt his Not brothers egotistical trips to Midgard. Trickery typically worked. Even in his youth he could not keep up with Thor's strength in their training. Thus he held more subtle terms of revenge when it was called for.
He thought of his Sons, his daughter. How his last since of whimsy gave him, his children. Who were quickly removed from his arms by one being of his blood. Their future was written, woven by fate's pawn Frigga. It had been the only warning given to Odin by her that he had ever heeded.
His stoic nature waivered for a brief moment of vunerability across his face before it ebbed away after Loki turned his face from her and the muscles of his jaw tightened momentarily. He would not call it infatuation, nor love at this point. Just his nature. The Demi-god was quite postitive that he understood the mechanics of it all far better then this mortal before him.
"In my vast age I have learned there are things one does not simply question." Cryptic, of course, but so very much the truth.

DOMINIQUE FALCONE DOM
Dominique shook her head. "The advances in science claims magic isn't real. That nothing within us could actually do those things. They've even found the God particle or molecule that proves the Big Bang Theory and how things were created rather than crediting it to some divine creator like God in the Christianity religion." She spoke. "Though as a little girl I always wanted to be able to do magic. Wiggled my nose like Samantha and everything," She spoke with a smile in remembering the lighter points of her childhood. Her imagination- until the obsession with learning who her father was and what he did. Why her mother, Jordan, hated him so.
Her eyes widened and her smile turned into one of disbelief then elation. He had done that to The Joker? "You threw him into a car?" She repeated it in a question before she scoffed. "I could kiss you right now for that." She said seriously, her head nodding as her index finger came to touch her lips. She sighed roughly. "He's a pain in my ass. I supply him with weapons and he doesn't kill me were his words." She hoped that since there was that benefit for the clown that it meant he'd do things for her in exchange which she was sure would happen. It was easy to manipulate one who was already prone to destroying things.
She observed the small subtle change, but only barely. She knew not what his thoughts were. Her head canted to the right as his jaw tightened. She knew the expression well. Something of great weight was on his thoughts and there was conflict in it all on how to settle it. Though she didn't assume her situations were the same as his. Dominique knew how small her life and her problems were compared to Loki. A being so powerful he almost took over New York and then the world would have followed. With power such as that the problems had to be greater, more intense. He could battle with magic and trickery while the she had explosives and weapons. Her right hand ran down his arm as he kept his head away, her fingers grazed his palm until her fingers laced against his in an act of comfort. Of not being alone in it all. Though Dominique's heart was black it was still beating and capable of compassion.
She lowered her eyes to the glistening, reflective water of the pool down blow. The moonlight sparkled like diamonds. The Mob Princess took a step towards him once more and wrapped her arm around his back. She placed her head on his torso, his words cryptic as they repeated themselves within her head. Dom was still bold in her actions as other women would have been apprehensive in being this close to Loki, those who didn't have infatuations based on appearances or dominating personality he exhibited.
"Is it odd you make me feel more safe than I have my entire life? Even just standing here. What happened in Asgard to make you come here, to Earth? Where is your home now?" She questioned. The events at the ball between Loki and Thor, from what she managed to see before the fear toxin, was enough to know that there was bad blood. "Oh, and by the way, I think you're much more handsome than Thor. Blond and stupid is no way to go through life- if the written mythology is close to his intelligence." She said as she pulled away to stand before him, her tongue rolled over lower lip.
"Oh, and about that kiss. Out of line or too soon I don't care." Dom moved strands of hair behind her left shoulder. She would have him sooner or later. And she'll never let go once she has him.

Loki did not exactly understand what she said, He had never once wiggled his nose in his long life to do magic, what nonsense. Silly mortals. He was well aware of how far their religion had strayed. Loki had once been so used to being summoned by mortals in times of war or in desperation. However the topic on the joker was much more enthralling then their underdeveloped ideas of science. Loki merely nodded in response to her question, that man had been quite an easy toss.
"I suppose it would be redundant to say such agreements are rather void with men like that"He was sure she knew such things herself. Though he could only fathom what she was receiving in return from such an agreement with that mortal. He seemed rather unpredictable and most unreliable.
His thoughts could rival the fury of a storm. He could not help but reflect on what he had done. What caused, set into motion. The trickster was unsure of his own actions, his body seemed to react on its own as he laid his arm across her back when Dom pressed herself to his chest. Her hand in his was like fire against his icy skin. It had been a number of years since Loki had been this close to someone. Not since knowing the love of his children only to have the trio torn from him. One by one, and punished for sins they had not yet been given the time to commit.
Bad blood between brothers was just and understatement. Her questions were of things he had not yet to come to terms with himself. Asgard had become a prison to him, a tomb. There was nothing left there for him. It had been nothing short of mental torment.
Loki was not sure he even wished to explain such things. They were subjects still sore. Problems he had never been given the chance to solve or even attempt to. What was the mortal doing to him?
"I was lied to, my entire life had been a lie, I was never good enough in the eyes of Odin of anyone and I never understood why. I had tired everything and the one thing I ever excelled in was viewed as a cowards tactics." He paused for a moment. Loki could feel his rage building the more he spoke of it.
"Then Thor found himself banished and I was handed the throne. I never wanted it. I never wanted to rule, not even when I was here. it was a ruse." New York was really of no consequence, it was only a tactic to return him to Asgard.
"An in a moment of insanity, I turned on everyone that ever claimed to care about me. I was only meant to be a pawn. Thor and I fought, we destroyed the Bifrost, as it fell into the void we did as well. Odin caught Thor's leg, Thor held onto the spear I held. I tired to explain, plead my case. I was simply told No. " His voice was filled with the pain of it all. Loki was no longer looking at anything. He felt as though he was reliving every rotten moment of it.
Just the mere thought of admitting to everything, it was painful, something Loki had not yet done before. He had needed this, as much as he had denied it himself. "and I let go" Loki was not sure about wither or not to go into detail about what happened after then. It could possibly put her in danger.
"My home was turned into a prison. I haven't one."

"I suppose it would be redundant to say such agreements are rather void with men like that" Didn't she know it? Her eyebrows twitched at the same time her lips did the same action to his reply. She honestly hadn't a clue if she would return to her home only to open the door and the entire place blew. She wouldn't put it past the clown to renig on his deal. He boasted of being a man of his word but all he did was twist those letters in the same way Dominique did. She liked to believe she held more honor than the man with stringy green hair and would only pull the trigger should it be necessary. She knew how pivotal it was to have allies in different directions, scattered about the city like it's rats. The Joker, while a loose canon, needed Dominique as she was the major weapons dealer in Gotham. She ran everything, that was how it worked. And to bite the hand that feeds only warranted death from the woman.
"I'll kill him if need be. He serves as another hand on my side no matter how unstable." She spoke as her right shoulder raised dismissively.
She blinked slowly as she lowered her side ever so slightly when his arm draped itself against her. It was the reaction she had been hoping for. Dominique was a person to push everyone away and only see to it that her own whims went answered. However as she stood pressed against the Frost Giant, the Prince of Asgard, it seemed that there was nothing more she'd like better than to stay in this moment. She had her tale of lovers and she was more than interested in this story. This served as a reality check. Here she had walked around Gotham her with head held high as she was 'royalty' of sorts in the underworld while Loki was indeed a God. The moment in which the swell of humility had hit her while she rested within her cell at the SHIELD quarters before Bane broke her out. Nails moved slightly against the thinner flesh of the top of his hand, the temperature difference was one she hadn't forgotten. Her body ran hot, hotter than most due to the chemicals she infected herself with. Though she had but a few drinks before she attempted to sleep, she was as sober as one could be. Having a God appear in the kitchen with a giant golden glowing weapon was the correct recipe in making anyone sober. Completely.
"I was lied to, my entire life had been a lie, I was never good enough in the eyes of Odin of anyone and I never understood why. I had tired everything and the one thing I ever excelled in was viewed as a cowards tactics." Her brows furrowed as she watched the tightening of his muscles against his jaw. Her hand tightened in it's grip upon his. Dominique was still listening, still wanting him to tell her his story. "Then Thor found himself banished and I was handed the throne. I never wanted it. I never wanted to rule, not even when I was here. it was a ruse." Her eyes spoke of confusion as they bounced back and forth from his face. " She swallowed as her brows knitted together in a compassionate understanding. "and I let go" Dominique looked at him for a moment longer before her arms wrapped around him tightly in instinct. Human emotion, instinct. When another was suffering within their own minds humans could be argued as weak for wanting to comfort the other. If this made her weak in his eyes... well it didn't matter.
"How'd you survive? I'm not sure of the dynamics that is the Bifrost or even Asgard for that matter... It just seems like an impossible feat to be alive after that." She spoke as her hands spread against his back. When he answered he had no home Dominique brought her head up to look at him.
"Stay here," She spoke before she cleared her throat and looked down though not breaking her hold on him, not wanting to distance herself from him in any way. "I know what it's like to not know where you belong... The family you were forced to have you hate." She said as she brought her lips in and licked them slightly before releasing them and looking back to him rather than the floor. "I wouldn't expect anything from you. But if there was ever a day or night that you needed somewhere... There's always here. With me."
