Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

He seemed to have a base there, though he didn't remember building one, and he seemed to have contacts with people that he couldn't recognize. But none of it mattered. It didn't matter to him who he had known or what he had done in his time on the planet, or that such memories had been robbed from him. While normally he would be angry someone had been messing around with his brain, this time he found he might actually be thankful for the intrusion into his mental privacy.
From the information he had gathered, whatever memory he had lost was worth being rid of. It seemed he had become much too soft in his time on earth, and if the full extent of his research was anything to go off of, it seemed he had also been in the wrong color. Investigating his so-called lab had produced some interesting results. He had discovered his yellow power battery, which he had needed, along with a green and, for some strange reason, a red one. Work on his computers and various other tidbits of information had told him that he had been wearing a green ring at some point, but he had no information about ever being a red lantern. So why did he have the power battery?
It seemed there was only one way to find out.
The yellow lantern had decided to find himself a nice, open location to settle himself in. While he wasn't looking to protect human life with the seclusion, should a fight occur, he did want to make himself as noticeable as possible. The fewer readings to be confused by, the better, especially if he was dealing with some mindless red lantern. They were so easily confused by everything around them, which he imagined only made them more pissed off.
Once he found a nice desert-type landscape, he landed, taking a moment to open a pocket dimension so he could pull the red lantern from his lab. With it in hand, he looked around, wondering how long it would be before a red lantern picked up on the signal of the rogue battery. Hopefully, he would find the owner, and thus figure out why he was holding it in the first place.
Just for fun, he decided to slam the power battery against one of the many rocks in the area, shattering the stone as though it had been made out of paper. The power battery resonated in protest, a pulse of angry power bursting from the machine like it was trying to defend itself from harm. Sinestro had no intention of destroying it, of course. That kind of backlash would probably take him out. There was no denying rage was powerful, and a concentrated blast would not be something doctor recommended. No, he was just looking to drum up some power to be traced and hunted down.
Leaving out some cheese to trap a rat.

It hadn't been long since the fight with the witch over San Francisco, but Razer was already feeling sick to his stomach. He had received the reduced charge Sinestro had seen fit to ration him to just a few days before the fight, and he hadn't seen any action prior to San Francisco, but he knew that if he couldn't find Sinestro soon, he'd die with his ring.
He didn't even consider the Blue Lantern that had appeared in San Francisco as an option. A life without power was a meaningless one, a life that could be ripped away at a moments notice. He would not allow such a thing to happen again.
That odd yellow light that had shone from Sinestro's new ring triggered a reaction within his ring. It had only then seen fit to inform him of the Yellow spectrum, and the Sinestro corps that wielded it. The fact that the man he had come to associate with the green lanterns led a force united behind a light completely anathema to them was annoyingly ironic.
He was off flying, as usual. One thought he'd had was to conserve his energy and let other people with stakes in the matter, like Raven or the Blue Lantern, find Sinestro for him, but he had immediately discounted the thought. With the Red Ring, he had become master of his own fate. He hated being at the mercy of others, and he would be the one to find his battery.
It seemed that was the right decision, as his ring detected a flash of red energy. While it wasn't able to tell from this distance whether it was a battery, or a fellow Red Lantern, either would suit his ends. If it was the latter, he could borrow a full charge and return to Ysmault, and obtain a new battery. And if it was his battery, then he would return it to it's rightful possession.
As he moved closer, and the scenery shifted to that of a parched desert, two things became clear. The first was that the red power source was a battery, and more than likely his own. The second, was that the yellow light was present as well. The implications were obvious, but they mattered little to Razer. It didn't change what had to be done.
Tracing the red energy back to it's source, Razer would waste little time thinking once there. Sinestro was present, as expected. Razer manifests his sword and buckler construct, his general mainstay, and flies down to land with a thud near his lantern.
"You will return this to me." Razer states.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/blackmiddle.png] So, it belonged to the one he had seen the other day- maybe he should have suspected it. The red lantern had been there when he found himself on earth, though he hadn't spent much time dealing with the being what with the blue lantern and the silly earth-lovers to deal with. Still, the connection was now obvious. But who was this being, exactly, and why did he have his lantern? It seemed like his supposed Green Lantern counterpart was not all nice and loving as most of the humans had seemed to think he was.
Well, that was good, at least.
Sinestro watched the Red Lantern join him, a malicious grin widening over his face as he watched the other make his offensive-driven constructs. Clearly he was not going to do a great deal of talking if it came right down to it. That was fine- Sinestro didn't really feel like talking, as much as he felt like making this lantern suffer. He couldn't remember the conditions that had left him with the red power battery, but clearly this guy wanted it. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't have even responded to the power signal- it was unlikely in his mind that red lanterns cared enough about one another to investigate such things. They would sooner let one another suffer and die. Rage did not really connect to compassion that much. Unfortunately for the Red Lantern who had come to see what was going on, neither did fear.
When the lantern announced that he would return the battery, Sinestro let out a laugh. "And you intend to, what, take it from me if I refuse?" The yellow lantern replied, a wicked sort of amusement flashing through his sharp eyes, "how frightening. I should give it to you right now, shouldn't I?" He laughed and let the lantern hover in the air, surrounded by a yellow light to keep it from being touched. If there was a barrier around it, he wouldn't be able to get a recharge from the power source. So much for giving it to him right there.
Almost lazily, the leader of the Sinestro Corps created a sword construct of his own, creating a blade that looked like it had popped right out of a horror movie to go against the one the red lantern had created. He didn't ask any further questions, deciding there would be time to talk after he taught the plucky little lantern a lesson. If he had thought a green lantern was strong, he was going to tremble before a yellow lantern.
Or so he was smugly firm to believe.
"If you want your lantern back, you're going to have to prove your worthy of it, so show me what rage lies in your heart. I'll make sure to turn it into fear."
