Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

It was quiet a beautiful day in Gotham City where the sun was shining and the sky looked peaceful. This was the first time that Oliver had seen Gotham for its beauty and it was clearly a wonderful site. This was also the first time that Oliver had been in Gotham without being under his guise as Arrow. The sole reason he was here in this city in the first place was for business. He was here to speak to Bruce Wayne about having their business be allies. If Bruce was agreed to this idea, it would make Queen Industries a bit more richer thus making Ollie a very happy man. Though, he realized he needed to return home and finish building his night club. His job as a business man was never finished...surprising. One would think a man whose a billionaire would have people to these jobs for them. Well, not Ollie. Oh no. When it involved his money, he was overlooking everything by himself that way there was no chance of his money being screwed.
The man was dressed in a nice dark blue, armani suit however without a tie. He wasn't in the current moment to be wearing a tie. He wore expensive black shoes to match his suit. Ollie had also received a nice trim for both his hair and beard, making him a bit more business-like. Though this look make him stand out. Everyone on the street was dressed in jeans or shorts, nothing to fancy. Ollie could tell he was attracting all the women. He knew because just about every lady he pass, they smiled and winked. What could he say beside he had the stuff that every woman wanted to get with and every man wish they had. This put a smile Ollie's face for sure.
He paused for a brief second, and removed his cell from his pocket. He noticed he received a text from Mia, telling him to be careful. Now that was thoughtful for of her. Oliver believe he should return the gesture by buying her something nice and he knew just what to buy, some flowers. Ironically, there was a small flower store right in front of the man. Oliver enter the building, and rung the little silver bell. "Hello? I would like to purchase some flowers for my daughter." Oliver explained to whoever would be serving him today. He was sure that Mia would like some flowers from Gotham. Plus, he didn't have to be at Wayne Enterprises till six and it was only one. He had plenty of time to kill.

DINAH LANCE BLACK CANARY
It had been a wonderful morning, the sun had actually decided to show itself rather than hiding behind the gray of the clouds. Spring was fighting for it's season though the winter held Gotham in it's icy hands. But that wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The past few days had been chilly but as they would continue it would warm up only to slip it's temperatures back down once the sun began to set. Oh well, it was home. It was why Dinah did so well in Seattle. The weather there and in Gotham were quite alike though she believed it snowed more in her hometown versus the Northwest.
Dinah woke up at a normal time rather than sleeping until noon or one, given she didn't go out as her alter ego the night before. No, Black Canary had seen enough the past few weeks in coming back and she had decided it was a Dinah night. One that consisted of her pouring herself a glass or two of vodka and a juice then cuddled up on her couch with a good movie, but not before a long hot bath. She had been doing the best she could in settling back down in Gotham. She had rejoined the Justice League of America and had reached out to Roy Harper. She had resumed crime fighting in her neck of the woods as well as visiting other members of the League such as the teasingly shy, Clark Kent otherwise known as Superman. Dinah Lance was attempting to piece together her life before Oliver, before their move to Seattle.
Her tongue rolled over her teeth as she shifted the dirt with the gardening tool at the thought of her former love. The pair had been through so much, even marriage though that didn't fall through. Dinah had turned cheek to his flirtatious nature, all men had it and even women. She had no problem flirting with a man or two back then but she'd never act on those words. She had promised herself to Green Arrow and she wasn't about to yell at him for not doing the same. People make their own choices and if they were the results less than favorable by Dinah then she'd sever that tie. Just as she had done on the West coast. She stuck the planet a bit harder into the vase than she meant to which caused Dinah to pause. With a ragged sigh, her bare forearm came up and rubbed the few beads of sweat from her brow. She didn't need to work herself up nor did she want to waste those emotions on a cheater. The blonde was aware he went missing and she fully figured it was some soul search retreat. He was able to take care of himself as he had displayed time and time again.
The bells to the door chimed and Dinah was thankful for the break. She figured after she helped the customer she'd close the shop for an hour and go grab lunch and maybe a coffee. With her gardening gloves still upon her hands she grabbed the plant she was tending to and moved from the greenhouse attached to the building and towards the main area of the shop. The main area in which most customers looked around for their roses or orchids, lilies or dandelions. People in Gotham weren't overly complex with their plants though she did have the more expensive ones in the greenhouse. They needed more attention than the run of the mill flowers that grew like wild fires. She heard the voice and already had a smile to greet him. She liked men who did special things for the ladies in their lives.
"Well isn't she luck..." Dinah replied but stopped as she came into view of her customer. The vase fell to the ground as it shattered, sending dirt and water in a pool around her feet. But the blonde didn't pay the mess any mind for the moment until she made herself come back to reality. She looked down and back up at Oliver before she squatted down and began to shovel as much dirt in the broken glass as she could before just pushing it to the side completely, with or without help.
"What are you... Why are you here?" She began, her voice kept strong though all different types of emotions were shouting at her. Even after all these years he still looked as good as the first time she laid eyes upon him. "You've got a lot of explaining to do, Oliver Queen."

He was in a delighted mood today and many could tell by his smile. However his smile grew in size once he got a small glance at the owner's or worker's ass. What could Oliver Queen really say beside he was a man who enjoying looking at a pretty ass. Somehow, Ollie felt like he realized that ass before. His left eyebrow raised and he stroked his beard. There were numerous of woman had slept went during his years as a teenager and a young man before his adventures as Green Arrow. So he couldn't really remember one woman based on her ass. But he had to say, this one individual had quiet the beautiful ass. Oliver was considering maybe asking her out, if she had a beautiful face and personality to match with that ass. Beside, he needed to go out on a date. He was always busy dealing with business, Mia, or protecting Star City. There wasn't really much time to enjoy the company of a female but he was going to change that today.
Oliver's spirit had dropped when he heard the voice of the woman. Then the face to match which that face. He frown and began rubbing his eyes followed by his own face. Why did it have to be Dinah Lance? Dinah happened to be his kryptonite. Not only was he surprised but so was Miss Lance, judging from the sole fact she dropped the vase. However she seemed to recover very quick, shoveling the dirt. Though he wanted to leave to make this awkward moment end, he wasn't a dick. He wasn't the old Ollie. She began to ask why he was here and demanded that he explained. Even after all these years, Dinah remained beautiful and demanding. These two traits alone, is why he loved her. "I'm in Gotham for business," Oliver's tone was low but loud enough for Dinah to understand him. He took a small pause before he completed his thought, having a difficult time being around his former lover. "Why are you in Gotham, Dinah?" He made sure to be brief and have simple questions. He didn't want anything to end up into a screaming match.
Oliver on his knees, and began sweeping the dirty into his hands, doing his best to help. After all, this was his fault in a way. Oliver cleared his throat abit before speaking. "You know, I never stopped thinking about you, Dinah." This was the first time in his life, where he was nervous around a woman. It was clearly show by the simple fact that he was swallowing his words and his hands were shaking.

DINAH LANCE BLACK CANARY "I'm in Gotham for business," Oliver's tone was low but loud enough for Dinah to understand him. He took a small pause before he completed his thought, having a difficult time being around his former lover. "Why are you in Gotham, Dinah?"
Dinah looked behind her should and gave her employee a look of murder if she didn't find something to do. Not in the area. She heard something about going on a lunch and the blonde was looking back at Oliver once more. She narrowed her eyes slightly, her lips just barely parted. He was asking her why she was in this city? Had he bumped his head or was this the real Oliver Queen? He certainly ditched the blond which Dinah thought was an improvement. He looked scruffy and, well, handsome. Still. She felt her stomach tighten.
"This is my home... Remember? Did something happen to your head or have you just forgotten about me altogether with the numerous other possible blondes?" Spiteful and a bit harsh but once a cheater, always a cheater until proven different.
Dinah was tossing the dirt in the broken vase, angry at herself for being so rude but angry that the chapter she thought she had closed showed up at her shop. She hadn't stopped loving Oliver despite his actions. They were the pair that would overcome the odds, or at least they were. During the hands of her torture, when she lost her Canary Cry as well as the ability to have children, he was there and helped. She wouldn't have made it without him. He was as much her strength as she was his. When she saw his knees come into view from over her lashes, Dinah kept her blue eyes to the floor. Dirt everywhere. Her cleaning hadn't been the best because she wasn't focused on it. She was focusing on not losing it. Either throwing her arms around his shoulders due to finally seeing him in years, knowing that he was alright. And then there was the want to punch for breaking her heart. The relief was weighing more on her shoulders.
"You know, I never stopped thinking about you, Dinah."
She stopped cleaning and stared at the floor, her lips pursed for a moment. After a single blink she brought her head up slowly to look at Ollie. Her jaw clenched as she now felt like an asshole for her previous outburst. But only slightly. Green Arrow still deserved to hear what was on her mind but not right now. Not in this moment. She swallowed and cleared her throat as she looked to the right.
"No phone call or letter makes a girl think otherwise..." She replied softly before glancing back to him. "You broke my heart, Ollie."

She stated that Gotham was her home, something which Oliver should know however, he didn't. It was something he had honestly forgotten about this detail about Dinah but of course, she had to take the question out of proportion. And willingly threw his past mistake in his face which he truly deserved, having being responsible for breaking her heart. He lowered his head and nodded. "I deserved that. But I honestly forgot, that's all." Admitting the truth was the only thing he could do. Lying with only make things worst, incredibly worst. He was beginning to wonder how such a beautiful day turned to hell. All he wanted was some flowers for Mia, that is all. He didn't go looking for trouble like normal but somehow, it managed to find him and trouble took form in something way worse then fighting a metahuman. Ollie swept the dirt into a nice, neat pile for Dinah to sweep into the vest. After that, he stood up. No long could Oliver bare the feeling of being eye level with Dinah thus he was force to stand. His crystal blue eyes began to wonder the flower shop, enjoying the beautiful sight of the plants.
Again with the awkward silents. It was killing Oliver. He would rather enjoy an arrow through his chest then continue this little session with Dinah. But of course, things were going to get more awkward and unbearable thanks to Ollie and his stupid big mouth. He hung his head in shame as he realize what the hell he just said. Ollie felt like world war three was about to start and he had no way of defensing himself. However when Dinah spoke, it wasn't the tone he was clearly expecting. Instead it was low. And she pointed strong facts which notes with someone misses the love of their love. Following that, she remarked that he broke her heart. That was Ollie's biggest mistake among the many things he have done during his life time and for once, there was no reason, no way to say why he did such a horrible thing. "I am aware of what I did. I made a lot of mistakes which I have to atone for. I don't know how I will correct them and I don't even really know if I can ever correct them." He paused and looked back at Dinah, recalling the happy moments between them. It was because of her that Ollie was able to experience love after the death of his parents, the first people whom loved him. She taught him so much and taught him how to love ours, such as children; Roy and Mia. However everything fall apart more when he left for his true home, the island.

DINAH LANCE BLACK CANARY
This was a position Dinah well to avoid. One of unspoken heartache with the one she cherished. They had a good thing, they were the marvel couple of the Justice League. The worked together better than any other duo. Even when she worked with the Birds of Prey, Dinah didn't find a better partner than her former love. He knew her inside and out. His touch was like water to muscles during their training. It flowed so easily then. She knew of his wandering eye and at first had no intention of developing those serious feelings. She wasn't fond of him when they first met. She had thought he was arrogant, though time changed her perception of Oliver. She saw his vulnerability just as he had with her.
Her lips twitched in a small compressed smile of understanding. They had been through a lot, her place of birth wasn't that important. Dinah was well aware women stored every single bit of information about their loved ones. She swallowed, her throat dry and tight. Oliver looked around her small shop while Dinah's blue eyes remained on the Emerald Archer. So long it had been, so many walls that had been built. And now just by him appearing she began to question how strong the foundation of those walls really were. They were going to be married at one point...
"Not disappearing again," Dinah retorted as she removed her gloves and placed them on the counter, watching her own movements as she did so.
Her arms crossed against her chest, as her head canted to the right slightly. Her clear eyes searched his face, his words had meaning or he had gotten to be a better actor. Dinah yearned for him to make it right between them but she wasn't sure just how damaged things were. She had swore she was over Oliver Queen after the incident, however she wasn't aware how much she believed herself. In all other departments Dinah Lance was fully capable of making the best decision for the team, for herself. But in matters of the heart it was a constant struggle for the brain to have control.
"I wish I had the answer for you. I don't know where you've been, what you've been through but I want to give you the benefit of the doubt." She said. She wanted him to take her in his arms and tell her everything would be fine, like the way things were. But she refrained. Her eyes trailed to his lips then back to his eyes again. "One day at a time I guess."

This matter was nothing but a pain in the ass plus an annoying reminder that he destroyed another close relationship because he couldn't control himself. Ollie viewed himself as no more then the ultimate fail when it came to family and protecting those he loved. The whole reason behind becoming Green Arrow was to become a symbol for his city. To be the voice that fought injustice in the darkest hour and to protect his loved ones from harm. Weather he was Oliver Queen or Green Arrow, it was him who caused harm to family. It was times like these he wanted to quit and even dare to end his own life. However he knew he had to continue fighting the justice. Before he ruined his relationship with Dinah, she was always there for him. When the feeling of fear or depression, it was Dinah who was able to pull him out of the darkest and back into the light. All these thoughts Ollie thought he could keep at bay, made his way into his heart. This caused him more pain then he wanted to feel at this moment.
His began grinning his teeth against each other. He couldn't believe that today of all days this had to happen. Ollie for once in a long time he was able to truly smile but now, the feeling was fading. He placed his hands over his face, waiting the pain to end. Heaven knows he wasn't the greatest human being and had so much to make up for. Hell, he was so far from being saved it wasn't even funny. But at the end of the day, Oliver didn't deserved to feel this much pain. His mind was lost in deep thought, unaware of what to say or do. However the sound of Dinah's voice pulled him out of his dark mind into reality. His attention was now focused on her, having removing his hands from his face. What she just said was something Oliver had been to do from the start, since returning. But of course, she wasn't aware of this. Oliver had changed lately, he wanted to prove it to this woman he once was going to marry.
"I'm not going anywhere, Dinah" Oliver spoke in a low tone. His eyes watched her fold her arms under her chest, reminding him of a great memory of doing crossing her arms. The memory was fresh on his mind as though it was last night. And of course, she had to be an incredible human being. She could have simply laughed at Oliver's pain or even stated he was lying and had the policed remove him from her store but no. Instead, she process to give Oliver another chance of friendship which he truly didn't deserve. Oliver couldn't believe what he was hearing. This type of kindness shouldn't be rewarded to the lights like him but here today, it was. Oliver stared deep into her blue eyes. The way the windows were angle made the sun hit Dinah in the perfect spot, making her seem like a beautiful goddess. Oliver walked extremely close towards Dinah, where both of there chests were touching. He placed gently placed his left hand on the back of her neck, resting her blonde hair. His right hand placed on her waist. His face tilted to the left as his lips pressed against Dinah's.
Note: Is it me or is it getting hot in here? :)

DINAH LANCE BLACK CANARY
Everyone deserved a second chance. Though it didn't hold true to terrible offenses. Perhaps the logic varied from person to person. An ill mind wouldn't, and shouldn't, be given a second chance when it comes to the likes of murder for enjoyment, rape of another, abuse towards children. Sometimes the saying was exempt. In matters of the heart it was different from each person. One woman or man would forgive their spouse for one of their bad habits and it would continue and develop into a vicious cycle; one harmful to the psyche. Then there were the ones that accepted nothing less than their all in the first go. If they failed then it was on to the next. Dinah wasn't like those scorned women. She was instead cautious while being forgiving.
If she couldn't forgive the man she loved with all of her being then there had to be something wrong with her. She wasn't a vengeful person, she wasn't the jealous type even. Dinah Lance was the girl you'd take home to your parents while secretly knowing she was every much as naughty as you wanted. She was the total package in some aspects, in some opinions. Her body was shapely, her eyes were a piercing blue. She was kind and strong willed. There was a reason Dinah completed the family unit as 'mother' when it came to Mia, Roy and Ollie. Daughter, son, father, mother.
The tone in his voice when he assured he wasn't going to leave caused butterflies to flutter round inside her body. It struck a particular cord that caused her heart rate to speed up as memory served what followed in quick flashes of countless nights spent together. She breathed in and out deeply as she remained standing in the same spot though Oliver made play of closing the distance. She looked up through her lashes at his handsome face with her lips parted slightly. Her breathing became more rapid with every second passed until Oliver had finally pressed his lips against her own. Her hands returned their grip as she pressed herself against him, letting go of everything and for once enjoying his touch again. She opened her mouth as her tongue played against his lips though she stopped soon after and took a step back though her hands remained.
"That, that is too soon. Enjoyable but.." She stopped and looked to him as if for Oliver to agree though she figured his heart was beating as quickly as her own. Her flesh still heated from his touch.

Oliver was surprised when Dinah returned the mutual feelings. He surely expected for her to push him away immediately which was accompany but slap or perhaps a punch which suited her better. However he was meet with Dinah's soft hands gripping themselves around Oliver's body and a wonderful kiss. This kiss reminded Oliver Queen the first time he received a kiss from this beautiful blonde. It made his dreams come true and he only wished to be with her. Somehow down the line, Ollie had clearly forgotten that and paid the ultimate price of losing her and her gentle, passionate touch. What a foolish man he had been all these years to have taken such a woman granted. Oliver did indeed enjoy Dinah's tongue taking part in this moment thus heating things up a bit more. Though, the two former lovers lips parted their separated ways. Canary said what just happen was too soon but she enjoyed it, none the less. Oliver nodded and clear his throat, so he wouldn't sound disappointed. "Yes..yes. You're totally correct." Despite he hated the kiss ended, he had to admit it was too early for the two start making out.
Even though he agreed with her, he couldn't bring himself to let Dinah ago. At this point, he wasn't sure if he would be able to let Dinah go ever again. He loved her and there is a high possibility, he will always love her. But for now, he had to let her go. He cannot continue to lead her on or be with the same man. Till he fixed himself and corrected his past mistakes, there was no being with Dinah. "I apologize Dinah. That was wrong of me." He admitted his mistake and kissed the young lady's forehead. Ollie released his lips from her forehead and closed his eyes. He placed his own forehead against her's. A small tear had shed from his left eye. "I'm sorry but I don't want to leave. I just want to stay here with you. Oliver couldn't bring himself to leave the woman he once loved alone. His heart raced and he felt as though he was about to pick Dinah up and start making love to her right now.

There was a moment when everything felt right, everything felt safe. It was there in Oliver's arms. So long were the nights in which she cried in her heartbreak. But how far were they truly in his arms? She knew there was no other that would complete her in the way he did. They were ying and yang. His arrogance was her humility. Ying and yang that belonged together so desperately that perhaps it was doomed. But wasn't everything more beautiful because they were doomed? She wasn't aware of the events in which he had gone through that brought him here. She only remembered who he was in Seattle, in Gotham, in Star City. He was a womanizer, a lady chaser of the finest sorts. But who could blame him? Young, handsome, rich. They were doomed from the start.
Dinah was born into a family of cops. Her mother the first Black Canary, completely human, and her father a cop for the Gotham City Police Department. Killed while she was in a relationship with the Emerald Archer. It was such a useless death but a death that Dinah held vengeance rewarded in her hand. He was wealthy while Dinah grew up in a modest life. She had 'aunts' and 'uncles' in the original Justice League. And then down the line Dinah, herself, headed the Justice League of America due to her strategic mind and ability in combat. And there was Oliver Queen. Her Robin Hood to her Mary Anne. He was smart, handsome, and everything she wanted- aside from the womanizing aspect.
She heard his apology and she kept her gaze at the ground. She had participated, she was just as guilty as he. How could one battle with how things were from feelings to events to now? Should she throw the past away and run into his arms? No. That would be most unwise. She risked being hurt in the long run once again. Oliver was her one true love. Nothing would change that. She'd wait forever in order for him to pull his head out of his ass. She thought. She didn't expect to see him any time soon and yet here he stood saying he didn't want to leave. Her lips tugged down as her bright blue eyes looked back upon him. She gave him a smile that held every note of sadness. How could she say that she didn't want him to leave?
I'm not a stranger, no I am yours. Of crippled anger and tears that still drip sore. A fragile frame aged with misery and when our eyes meet I know you see. I do not want to be afraid. I do not want to die inside just to breathe in.
She shut her eyes tightly as she bowed her head to the ground. She had wanted him there with her the entire time he was gone. She had to learn what it was like to be without him though it pulled her heartstrings every single moment. She didn't want to put her heart on the line once again only to have it butchered. She wanted love, not games. She pulled her lips inwards and exhaled before she looked at him once again.
"How do I know you mean it?" She asked in a voice barely above a whisper.
