Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

"Come to me, son of Jor-El! Kneel before Zod!"

Zod felt as if he were in a world made of brittle materials. Everything on Earth was too fragile. He was forced to mind his strength, a phenomenon that had never happened to him on Krypton. Yet this wasn't Krypton. It could not match up to Krypton. Then again, he had power here. Great power. Something that, had he had it on Krypton, his movement would have been much more than it had been. He had wondered how he had this power, until he recalled a theory Jor-El had put forward once. Under a younger sun, a yellow sun such as this, his molecular density shifts, charging his cells with energy and granting him these abilities. He knew it, just as the daughter of Zor-El knew it. Just as the son of Jor-El knew it.
And yet why did they persist in protecting these poor, pitiful beings called humans? They were weak in biological terms, they had primitive technology, and only a handful of them had the ability to stand toe-to-toe with the Kryptonians among them. They were like insects. Zod supposed that they were forced to rely on someone like Kal-El to protect themselves, as they could not defend themselves, the weaklings.
To be fair, they made good clothing. Zod admired the black coat that accompanied the clothes Kara In-Ze had given him. When it flapped around in the wind, it gave him a feel of authority, and he liked that feeling a lot.
He floated to the ground. According to the geography he had learned, this place was called "Vermont". As he wondered who had given it such a silly name, the general observed the humans with the same steely gaze he wore almost all the time.

Doctor Bruce Banner was sent up to Vermont to consult on a deadly nerve agent, that left two people in quarantine. Bruce needed to determine whether it was biological or chemical, but he would've soon figured it out when he got there. Two lives depended on his diagnosis, making him very ambitious to help. The good doctor wouldn't have left until the problem was solved, and failure wasn't an option. It was actually good for Banner to get out of the state of New York, for a change. The last time he'd traveled outside New York, he was sent to guard one of the SHIELD bases down in the longhorn state. Things didn't turn out good as the base was immediately attacked, but thankfully nothing important was stolen.
Bruce stepped off the bus, finally touching Vermont's soil. He couldn't believe how nature thrived in the city, he was sent to. The entire state of Vermont seemed foresty, which Banner liked a lot. He loved the aspects of nature, and was kind of sick of the skyscrapers and annoying people back in New York. Vermont was a quiet state, one that attracted the good doctor like a magnet. He dropped his duffel bag to the ground and continued to observe his surroundings, "Yep, this is definitely going to be a place where I reside when I retire" he spoke with a wide grin. Lots of people dreamed of living in the city, and exploring life from skyscraper to skyscraper, but Bruce had already experienced that. He wanted to adventure, and explore the forests of Vermont. It was definitely a place he would've called home in the future.
Bruce walked down the sidewalk holding his duffel bag over his shoulder. He wore a solid light blue collared shirt, following a pare of khaki pants. Banner wore a pair of sunglasses that were also eyeglasses, which reflected in the sunlight. He continued walking down the sidewalk, until he witnessed something shocking. A man had floated, and landed on the ground almost twelve yards ahead. The man looked as if he were from the Medieval Ages, but was this common in the state of Vermont? Bruce quickly walked over to Zod and smiled, "May I take a picture with you?" He asked thinking the man was a street actor. Bruce pulled his digital camera from his pocket, and looked up at the man who was clearly much more taller than himself. Oh, this is just perfect, Zod thought sarcastically. The humans had come to gawk at him. Well, it was only a single human, but that was really all it took for the general. This one was very small and annoying. He had never been able to stomach that kind of person, not on Krypton and certainly not on this planet. The human seemed to be wearing dark eyewear, which reminded Zod of the goggles he had been wearing in the Phantom Zone. This human didn't seem to be imprisoned in any way. Was this recreational clothing for humans? He still had to understand their ways. The trench coat he could forgive, but these darkened eyepieces? they were unusual.
He wanted a picture? Of him? Though Zod wondered why in the name of Rao a human would want to take an image of a Kryptonian, he was a little bit perplexed by the device in the human's hand. The external design reminded him of a Kryptonian datapad, albeit smaller and bulkier. He gave it a once-over with his most recently developed ability, the x-ray vision. It seemed to be constructed of crude electronics and a primitive computer chip. Perhaps it was meant to hold data. The general doubted a device such as this could hold more than a single giga-quad of data.
"Very well." He conceded. "But make this quick, human." This one was lucky that Zod was willing to let him take an image. Were this any other being, he would have shrugged off the advances. Yet today, he would indulge the human and give him what he wanted. He could certainly spare the time in his search for other Kryptonians on Earth.

Bruce had no clue as to who this man was, but only thought of him as a tour-guide of some sort. His little floating act, was something of definite interest. Bruce was a man of Nuclear Physics, and he only wondered how he was able to float. He waved his hand over the man's head hoping to find an invisible cord, but couldn't feel a thing. This man before him was definitely a mutant. He wasn't racist towards mutants, but tried hard in staying away from them. The good scientist was ecstatic that he had agreed to take a picture with him, but something was very off about the him. He'd called him mortal, but why? Was this man a god? A brother of Thor or Loki? Bruce wanted to get to the bottom of this, before the god were to cause harm. If this was the brother of Loki, then another threat was imminent.
"Mortal? What makes you think you're immortal?" the good scientist asked, as he raised his sunglasses with a finger. The man definitely had a build like Thor, but the look of darkness like Loki. Whoever this being was, looked like an enemy. Bruce stumbled back, trying to distance himself away from the weird figure. "Are you... From Asgard?" he asked as he continued backing away. If this man was smart, then he would of left Bruce alone. The Hulk was raging inside him as if he were trying to find a way out. Bruce took a few deep breathes in an attempt to calm his heart rate. Zod raised an eyebrow when the diminuitive human groped above his head. Perhaps he thought this was some kind of visual trickery. He would be sorely disappointed, then, to find out that Zod was truly able to fly like his kin on this planet.
"This is no illusion. I am able to levitate." he said plainly. Humans. Always looking for explanations to what they did not understand. Not too unlike Kryptonians in that sense. "It's your system's sun. It gives me this power, among others."
Asgard? Was this man just speaking in nonsense now. Was this Asgard another place? He was certainly making it sound like one. Could it be one of the planets in this system? Perhaps the humans weren't as technologically primitive as he had been led to assume.
"I am unfamiliar with this planet Asgard." he said. "However, do not think of me as an alien being. Unknown, unfamiliar, and all that. No. Think of me as..." he struggled to find the right word. What was it the humans called them again? It was similar, if not identical, to the Kryptonian one. "Yes. Think of me as a god. Superior in every way, here to lead the human race into a new age. I'll forgive you if this comes as something of a shock." He hadn't expected the humans to take it lying down. They would need to adjust to the coming of a new age of their civilisation slowly. Their primitive minds could handle it much better this way.
