Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

There was a rage inside Harley. That monster within was alive and well and it was thirsty. Thirsty for chaos, for pain, for murder. She already possessed a busted lip, her blonde hair was a mess after The Joker's holding. It was one of those nights that had Harleen questioning why she remained in his possession. Though he made her what she was today, the jester had gained a backbone like no other. It was made of power and defiance. And much like an angry child the red and black clad woman was furious she gave in as easily as Joker put on his sweet and caring voice. She was aware of the advice that Ivy would give. Leave him. He was a piece of shit.
But were they not cut from a similar cloth? She was the only one kept around for any length of time. She wasn't dead, though that may be due to Harley's durability and want for survival. The Joker had shown her many things about the world and she wasn't done exploring just yet. Though if death came then she'd be powerless to prevent it. It was just like being carted off to Arkham in death; She'd fight hard and screaming all the way down.
Harley Quinn was in a foul mood. One that yearned to unleash punishment and pain. She wanted to torture, to drag out the pain and suffering from another. She didn't hold much of any weapons save for a knife here and there. She'd always have something up her sleeve. Always. The woman didn't need weapons, she had come a long way from her gymnast days. She was capable of inflicting harm with her hands, with her feet, with anything really. The years of combat against Batman and his friends had taught Harley quite a few things about self defense. She was the most deadly of all the Gotham Sirens, even if they didn't want to admit it. Living with the Joker had it's perks...
Her red and black cat suit was still in repair after her fight with Danii Washington. The night of the now infamous attacks which ended with Harley and Taskmaster having their way with Deadpool and his honey. Ah, and the Avenger Mansion was lit bright with those pretty, pretty flames. The licked the air so sweetly, as if they wanted to kiss the night sky. Harley's blonde hair was parted in her usual pig tails though her right one was lowered, hair tangled and messy from Joker's hold on her scalp. She wore something much smaller than normal, the colors of red and purple fastened together with belts. Her thighs held up by garters though some weren't connected on both legs. Her boots came to her knee while her fingerless gloves hadn't even been fastened around her wrists.
Quinn had made haste in getting out of the hideout. She was so terribly close to maiming The Joker. After being ignored and neglected due to that damned crystal, Harley hadn't a clue where her clown in greasepaint went. He seemed a shell of himself, so buried deeply in the cuts of it's surface. Her babies, Bud and Lou, were still at the hideout, alone with him, which caused a feeling of dread to weigh on her shoulders. If he touches her children she'd give him a scar that extended to his temples. She furrowed her brow, her domino mask had been forgotten though it didn't mattered. The city and it's heroes were aware of who she was, her clothing did little to disguise her. Only when times were called did Harley change her appearance with a little dye here and contacts there- maybe glasses.
The sky above crackled with lightning, the rain clouds pregnant and threatened to open upon her. She stalked the alleys, the streets of the Narrows. Her shoulders were hunched, her head bowed slightly as if she was aware of how ill it made her look, but she wasn't. Harley was numb to the world, pain so great she was ready to unleash it on the next person. Movement caught her eye just barely as she looked to see a person moving on a fire escape. Her bloodied lips cracked in a demented smile as she quickly crept to the latter and pulled herself up from the ground. Biceps and triceps flexed as she pulled her feet up.
"Come here little mouse, give in to the Black Death. Ashes to Ashes, your bones will be dust. I'll grind them together with stone and pour you over the damned." Her thoughts formed in her head. She continued to move up with ease. "The Lion's at your door... It's claws are sharpened for war. I'm in your bed, my teeth are red." Demented lyrics warped in personification in her mind.
She'd find his face underneath all that blank.

Because I am more than this idol endless recital For all my demons to applaud He hated the rain, it wasn't only because his jacket was just a wire mesh weaving to prevent ballistics attacks or that the bullet proof vest he wore under his shirt acted as a sponge weighing him down or that in he tilted his head the wrong way it tired to fill the mask or ruined his hat. No, it that any evidence was simply washed away by the rain. But it wasn't raining yet.
It cracked and thundered across the city. The flashes of light casting eerie shadows this way and that across the roof tops. Creating monsters out of stacks and piping. Shadows that moved out of the corner of his eye only to be dismissed as nothing. It played with his head. Q hated storms. Every little noise set his teeth on edge. It made him jumpy.
The Thunder itself was perhaps the most cause. So much could be hidden behind the roar of the sky, gun shots, foot steps. the works. He leaned forward over the edge of the roof, watching the city scape move. Life proceeded as normal for most, just the addition of frightened children and umbrellas in tow. He didn't blame the kids, it scared him to. It wasn't rational, but not everything needed to be.
For what ever reason it seemed through out the night, he felt the sickening feeling he was being watched, the small fine hair on his arms seemed to stand on end, just the storm. He would dismiss it as that tonight.
Vic had grown content of the place tonight, nothing was happening as the cities faceless fighter watched for the last minute. It was time to change location. Nothing was happening. It seemed the threat of rain for once drove the crazy's back to their holes in the ground.
Q paused before leaving, looking over his shoulder, nothing. Content with the lack of anything he moved on, his shoes crunching lightly against the gravel of the roof top as he neared the edge. Placing a foot on the up built brick before allowing himself to drop down to a fire escape. He paused, hearing the creak of metal and tired bolts. It wasn't far off.
With quite the display of athleticism and finesse, Q leap across the narrow gap between the two buildings that created the alley, landing smoothly on the adjacent lower fire escape. There he saw something, or thought he did as he jumped, must have been a trick of the light. Unknowing that he had indeed seen a person, she was easily below him.
His breath caught in his throat for a moment as the adrenal chemical pumped through his veins. He was waiting for something, not sure what as the Fedora clad crime fighter stood tense in the orange glow of the far off street lamps. The rain started, he must have heard that first drop against the brim of his fedora.
Damn the rain.

Thunder rolled and sounded throughout the skies, the windows of the old buildings rattled in respect. A flash of lightening caused her to see him as he leapt in the air though she heard his weight land upon the iron of the fire escape. He hadn't gone anywhere, he hadn't gotten far at all. She remained quiet as she continued to climb up silently, the masking of nature still kept her from being discovered. The night had seemed to have gotten darker, as if for once it was on Harley Quinn's side. Her teeth gritted together as her legs swung from under her to connect with another beam that she used to pull herself up higher. Closer to the waiting mouse. Her head looked up above her as she felt the first few drops of rain land upon the white greasepaint. The woman was completely uncaring as to her paint running, her identity wasn't a secret to the world. There were records, of course, of who she was before she fell into madness. But Harleen wasn't there, in fact she was quite dead. There was no woman weak to the world, pushed by her mother's broken dreams and her father's ways. Her father was a criminal, it was in the blood after all.
Muscles flexed under her skin as the sky remained pregnant with rain. It sent a few drops down every few minutes, the storm waited for it's release. Her biceps tensed as she pulled herself up further. Harley sent her head to the right as her neck sung in snaps. She put her legs through the bars of the latter and rested against them for a moment, observing the man without a face. He had been wandering around Gotham for a while, she heard rumors of him through the gallery. He was quite a skilled fighter though his style and morals differed from the Bat. He was closer to her type of hero, or criminal. She didn't know him in the way she knew Batman. There had been times in which the pair had worked together. One would say that depending on her mood and situation she was quite soft on the flying rodent. He had helped her out along the way but it was always Harley's devious nature to fuck everything up and go back to The Joker. Bad habit really and it was one she had begun to address and work on. And wouldn't you know the work was going to be The Question.
Her gloved hands gripped ahold to the bar in front of her as she quickly swung her body out from it's resting spot. She held herself upside down using the strength of her core and biceps now tightened fully. It was nothing, really, for Harley to remain in this position. She had spent a good portion of her life in a gymnasium, training herself for perfect balance. Her style was certainly reflected in her way of fighting. Harley had moved so suddenly and quickly when she saw Question move and leap the distance... right below her. She hooked her knees upon the bar nearest in the latter as she pulled herself up. Her eyes were madder than a Hatter, her smile wider than a Cheshire Cat. Insanity leaked from her pours, a state of mind brought on by another so cruel. She would unremorsefully beat this man to an inch of his life then skin his face while he holds onto his soul. She expected the sounds of his screams to be satisfactory to her own yelled from nights with the clown. To fill that growing void. She's a scream collector.
Lightening flashed in the sky. It revealed something. Harley had since let go of the latter and she was gracefully falling in the direction the Question was standing. There were no words, no warning. Just free fall. She felt the wind caress her skin in the open areas of her newest outfit, her blonde hair danced in the air. If someone had glanced out of their window long enough they would have seen Harley Quinn five feet above Question in the air, headed straight towards him. Perhaps a scary scene, perhaps not. Her fingers felt the nothing as they lay limp in the air. Closer and closer she was to her victim, her conquest in Heroes. She sure hoped he didn't allow his knees to buckle for anything. Harley's legs landed upon his shoulders and in knowing that she would continue to fall or he would from the sudden falling presence upon him, she sent her body in a backwards motion and to the right. Her legs released him as they both fell to the ground though she was unharmed in every way. She flicked her blonde hair from in front of her face, her gloves rested upon the iron of the escape as her body leaned back posed in a ready to attack position if there ever was one. She flashed him an ill grin, that wide grin she was known to possess. It was the reason Joker had yet to scar her cheeks, her smile was certainly wide enough (she thought at least).

Because I am more than this idol endless recital For all my demons to applaud This was purely maddening.
Question was well aware of his surrounding. However the added noise of the thunder and the rain pouring down caused concern. Endless possibilities rose in his head for what could happen. Oddly enough his caution was well needed. Dismissing the popping noise that was only the sound of Harley's neck as the rain pouring was a mistake that he would dearly pay for. Not that he knew it.
Regardless he could simply not shake the feeling that he was being watched. Whoever in the area best pray to whatever god was their's of choice. He was no Batman. If they fell to their death, what could Charlie do to save them? Absolutely nothing. The vigilante was known to even redirect a thugs arm before they pulled the trigger of a gun to shoot his fellow law breakers. Question was a man of brutal yet effective tactics.
Charlie paused, placing his hands on the railing of the fire escape as he leaned forward to look over. Short drop to the ground and he would be on his way or so he thought. Before Q could even so much as have the singualr thought to raise his legs and vault over the rail there was a sudden weight upon his shoulders. Before he knew it, he was eating a face full of iron grating. Well, his not face.
He was dazed, even more so confused as to what had just happened as he lifted his head. He hadn't effectively caught himself, there had been no way with out undo injury to parts he was going to need. The Faceless crime fighter shook his head as he grabbed his hat with a leather gloved hand placing it back on his head before making an attempt to right himself.
Okay so his priorities were a tad bit off when it came to such things. But this hat was his partner, the Costello to his Abbott. The Watson to his Holmes. The black fedora had seen every fight he had. It was his Robin.
He could clearly see the runny white painted face of what he assumed was the infamous Harley Quinn. Joker's batshit insane toy. Men like the Joker didn't love anything. Now he knew that with in the small space of the fire escape was not to his advantage. Question knew how to move, how to work a space, but this woman just jumped him from a fire escape. Advantage was in her court and he knew it.
He didn't rise to her taunt either. Of course everyone wanted to know if the rumor was true. That the Question really didn't have a face. The vigilante pushed himself up into a standing position. Perhaps he could anticipate her next move. Dodge all together, or counter and send her over the railing.
