Janet didn't like to watch what she ate, she was more happy go lucky when it came to food, and to hell with the consequences. It wasn't like she didn't do enough to burn it off, she knew that the next Avengers mission would more than earn her this. She liked to think of it as a celebratory meal.... in advance.
After perusing the menu she settled on the DC Burger and a Liberty shake in banana flavour. A burger and shake - it was an irrefutable classic. She had considered a cocktail, but seeing as it was the middle of the day she had passed. She suspected that the time of day wouldn't have stopped the drinks namesake Tony.
She smoothed her yellow summer dress after handing her menu back to the waitress having placed her order. She glanced around the place wondering if she would see any of the familiar faces from the Avengers crew? She tried to have a discreet, sneaky glance, but no-one jumped out at her.
Dining alone wasn't something she did well... ever. She had thought it would be fun; having some 'me' time that others raved about. She sighed, leaning her elbow on the table and then resting her chin on her fist. She definitely preffered being surrounded by people. Someone... anyone...
Her drink turned up, so she took a long slurp through the thin striped straw before sighing again. This sucked... just a little bit.
