Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Batman was in need of a Robin. What can I say?
You have no idea how much I've been wanting to roleplay with a Jason Todd. I love that guy. Although admittedly, mainly as Red Hood. Because he's awesome.
But anyway. Enough of my rambling about Todd. XD Or rather, I'll stop there before I go into depth on it. XD His character's interesting.
But yeah. XD I'm all for that, as that sounds awesome. Would you be wanting a villain in there two, or just have us mention said villain in our posts, out of interest?
I think that his intervention would come as a surprise, naturally. XD He'd be appreciative, although would as you said not allow him to kill the person. How far would you want this argument to go, in terms of what's being said, though? I mean, just in general terms. XD I can see it going physical, though, what with a character such as Jason being involved..? o.o I dunno. Throwing ideas out there.

Nah, I think it would be best if we just mention the villain this time around. I could see it getting physical, but Jason's also not to the point that he'd be willing to kill Tim. Perhaps Tim fights him trying to get the gun from him, but the criminal escapes as they argue and fight. I don't think that Tim or Jason would be aiming to hurt the other very badly though. More of a disarming fight if anything. Once the criminal escapes Jason could just grapple away across Gotham leaving in the middle of the fight. Would you like to start the fight being it would start between Robin and the criminal/villain?

Sure, that's fine with me ^^ I'll be away for a week starting tomorrow, but when ai get back ai'd love to get this thread started. XD
Yeah, I can see that. And I daresay the criminal getting away would only add to it, considering. I'm intregued to see where this thread goes, or rather how it turns out. I mean, I don't think either one would really want to back off, and so..yeah. xD This'll be awesome.
Sorry for the lack of ideas here, I'm pretty tired, and my imagination's failing me once again xD

Sure thing! I'd love that, and it'd most likely be good for him to actually spend time with people his age. xD We really should do something with these two. So maybe they've crossed paths before, or I dunno..? o.o It's all good. ^^ Did you have anything in particular in mind? Well, I had this idea that they could meet fighting Crime somehwere; they're from different universes anyway so it's unlikely they'd have crossed paths before. Somehow they would know that they want to meet again, and we couldgo from there...? Skipping the original meeting and just cutting to the chase is an option, too. Flashbacks, anyone? EDIT: That quote box is waaaay funky, or is it me?

XD It's looking interesting on my phone, too
And oh yeah! I didn't think about that. But yeah, that'd definitely be the easiest way to have them meet. And honestly I don't mind either way. Flashbacks are awesome, but playing the initial meeting's just as good. Whichever's easiest for you? o.o Though admittedly it might be easier to do if they've already met. Do you see the second one be planned, or coincidential, out of interest?

I think we should do the follow-up meeting, it would give us a lot to write about at first. It should be intentional, because even though the Darkhawk armor seems like its older, somehow Robin would know that he's not as mature as he seems. Chris would just like Tim, and agree to a meeting later. XD Throwing stuff out there.

Oooh, that sounds good to me! And I agree there, I think Chris and Tim would get along, too.
So they've planned to meet up again, just out fighting crime I'm assuming? And I honestly cannot think of anything to add, I'm sorry. XD

Okay so I've been brainstorming someideas for how Tim and Connor could meet being as I loved their interactions in the comics. With Superboy's character I decided to go back ot his origins though. He's only sixteen weeks old and he's only just escaped the Cadmus Cloning Facility so he doesn't actually know anybody. I was thinking perhaps He finds himself in Gotham and is attacked, I was thinking we could order an NPC for a telepath as he hates them so he'd be extra pissed. He could rush head first into the fight not really thinking so he'll need help. They could wind up having to work together to fight the telepath much to Superboy's resentment as he is very stubborn and thinks he can do everything by himself. With all fairness though he is in technicality a new born. Ideas? I think they could eventually warm up to each other.

Awesome! We have a Superboy! This is gonna be good.
Yeah, I've gotta agree with you there, just sifting through my brother's comics as I type this. I agree that they could eventually become friendly with one another, however initially, judging by Kon's (Yeah, it's easier to type that, so I'll call him that OOC xD) impulsiveness and attitude in general might irritate Tim, or at least put him off a little, although he'd still try to be civil. and of course, would certainly jump in to help, in that situation. I'm horrible with planning stuff out, but yeah! I like the sound of that, and I have to admit I'm pretty eager to get this started. xD
and that thread with Tim and Jason. I'll have it up asap. Most likely tomorrow. Sorry about this.

AMBER && TIM So, Amber here is the daughter of a SHIELD Agent who lost his life during the Loki attacks, which has left her pretty well on her own. I think that's definitely something the two of them can relate to one another on. But she's also the type of person who takes pride in her careful observations and open mind, so I think she'd find any awkwardness in Tim Drake to be rather endearing and sweet. She might eventually grow to have a bit of a crush on him, which could be fun since I see her feeling the same for Superboy at some point, but regardless of what Tim might feel for her I think they could be a rather lethal duo of friends. Thoughts?

Definitely. Perhaps that's one of the factors that brings them together, that mutual loss right there. I mean, that'd be natural, after all. Depending on how close you want them to be as friends, his reaction would differ to her having a crush on him, that's assuming that its obvious that she does anyway, which isn't always the case. If its subtle, chances are he won't notice all that much, although I don't know if he'd feel the same way, in that sense. We'll see how it goes, yus? Because its going to be awesome.
But yes! It'd be even more fun if perhaps either Superboy or Tim is blissfully unaware that they're anything more than good friends, whereas the other two would see right through it, eventually? Or something like that. I dunno xD
Either way, Amber and Tim would be very interesting to have interact with one another. Although if it's ok with you, I wouldn't mind skipping the first few meetings and just say that they've known each other for a while, if anything just to have at least a kinda well-developed friendship, as that'd ensure that he'll shoe his true colors, or so to speak, rather than being the quiet, verging on shy person he seems to come across as around those he doesn't know particularly well? Still, I'd be more than happy to have them start as aquaintances (i really can't spell today XD) and work up from there. Whatever you're happy with, really.

AMBER && TIM Since Superboy is the clone still trying to get his feet wet in the real world, I think that Tim would be the one to clue into how she's feeling before Superboy. She wouldn't want him to know because of a number of reasons, but I think that once we establish just how close the two of them are we can figure out how close he is to figuring out how she feels about him. I think it would be really cute, the moment he actually realizes just how much she cares, though it will be really sad if he has to break her heart. That could cause an interesting strain in their friendship for a short while as well. But I agree, we should definitely skip the introductory threads and give them an established friendship to avoid awkward moments and strained threads.

Hey, I've sent in the request for an NPC for our Superboy/Robin thread. Oh, and I love the Amber/Conner/Tim thing you're plotting. It sounds like it'll be really fun to roleplay. I love how Superboy would be absolutely oblivious to everything though. I can't wait til someone introduces him to sarcasm I can picture it now.
"What's that," Superboy said
"Oh, that baby is the Batmobile," Robin answers
"Can I drive it"
"Huh, yeah, sure, go ride it," sarcasm
five seconds later news reporters are storming the local mall which Superboy accidentally drove the Batmobile into. OR better yet he goes to get in it and accidentally rips off the door. Doesn't know it's not supposed to come off, gets in slams the door back on steps on the gas and his foot goes through the bottom of the car, batmobile explodes, walks out fine.
"Did I do it right?"

Awesome. Seriously, there's so much we could do with these two, or three. Thinking for a moment about Amber and Tim, maybe we could do a few threads, doesn't have to be too many, just kinda gradually leading up to that realization. It'd be easier to get a grasp of how they are around one another, as well as seeing how he would feel towards her. Maybe when he realizes just how she feels, he could initially be somewhat indecisive, in the sense of not saying outright whether or not he feels the same way towards her for a short while. And that's maybe where the whole 'awesomely oblivious Superboy' thing could come in. I mean, maybe they've all met each other before, but this is where Tim is let in, or so to speak, on the..what's the word...y'know. So we've got Amber and Tim aware of each other's feelings and all that, and Superboy completely oblivious to it. In certain situations, this could be highly amusing, no? XD
Is it weird that I feel this, or something very similar, really needs to happen now? After all, Robin's a pro when it comes to sarcasm. It'll be awesome. I can imagine himbeing kinda exasperated by his actions generally, and in some cases kinda irritated, but in a good way. I mean, I can see them being pretty close. I've always thought of these two as pretty good friends, anyway. I dunno XD
So, we're gonna have Conner and Tim interacting, too. I'm assuming that they'd know that, for example Tim Drake=Robin and all that shizz? It'd only add to their relationship, in my mind. And make for even more awesome threading. And that's awesome about the NPC! I forgot who we'd decided was gonna start the thread, sorry about that.^^" My memory's horrible.

Tim and Joker;
Ok, so dude! I was having plot bunnies with Harley right? And Joker and Harley are gonna have themselves a fight and all that, he might throw her out of a moving car, the usual. Annnyway, since J is gonna need to get back in her good graces, was thinking maybe he capture Tim, and present him as a sort of peace offering to Harley for her to do what she wants with, sounds like a plan? 8I
