Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Who: Nick Fury, Avengers, SHIELD, open. Where: Hellicarrier What: Plan to clean up the streets. Notes: Fury is NPC until one applies!
SHIELD had been working overtime ever since the damn universes merged. There was enough on their plate with their villains and superheroes, now there were more. Fury had half a mind to send out squads with tagging guns so that the secretive agency could keep tabs on everyone. What was to stop SHIELD from becoming Big Brother? They had ample people with enough gifts and talents to round them all in eventually. The world would be safer and the Avengers would actually be able to enjoy their normal lives. His mind wandered for a moment as he remembered what it was like to be the one fighting instead of barking orders.
He had been around longer than most who worked with him knew. He was a part of World War II which allowed him to be in the place where he was now. He was fearless as he lead missions into Northern Africa with the title of Sergeant and the Rangers task force known as Howling Commandos by most. Back then it seemed like the world was easier to live in. When there was a crisis all they had were bullets, explosives, and man power. He had known with his years as Director of SHIELD that they needed to progress. A little year ago they found out they were not alone and thus begun to contruct weapons of mass destruction. He hadn't been for the project as he put his steam into the Avengers. Perhaps they need not weapons but people who were willing to stand up and fight back.
The man had lost track of the days since then. Since the attack on New York brought on by the demi-god, Loki, Nick Fury and SHIELD has been on high alert. The expanded secret locations and built buildings that they hoped better prepared them against outsiders. Earth, SHIELD, held numerous dangerous weapons and it seemed that it was his job that they never had to use them. He believed that people could still make a difference rather than endless wars that ended when cities were leveled. There were things that he thought constantly that he'd never reveal. There were things he elected to keep from the Avengers and other SHIELD agents. He believed now was the time to regroup and repair the world with all the miserable people alive. There were villains that tore cities to shreds but now was the chance to change that. His boots remained kicked up on the table as his eye was glued to the screen in front of him as he studied each information piece he had on the criminals while he waited.

[style=padding: 0px 10px;]She had been running around like mad as of late, then again anyone in a SHIELD uniform could have made the same complaint. Coffee was currently her best friend, coffee and energy drinks and pure adrenaline. This had been the first time in days she was on the helicarrier, having spent all her other time on the ground scouting, scouting and scouting some more. Danii had apparently become one of the go to recruiters for the agency, since she was just so damn pleasant, and pretty, and didn't take no for an answer. The blonde had gotten really really good at quietly strong arming people without them fully realizing it.
Danii was walking through the carrier downing a cup of coffee like it was her last life line, hands shaking slightly from too much caffeine and not enough sleep. The plan was to work the jitters out in the gym soon, may as well use the momentum and the time while she had it. Honestly all she wanted was to go home, sit on her couch and not move again for the next three days, but there was no way in hell that was going to happen so she kept herself busy wherever she was. What was she doing again? Damnit she was tired, more coffee!
Beautiful part of the helicarrier, there were coffee makers just about everywhere because that was literally what sustained everyone on board. This time she grabbed two cups, sipping out of one and ready to shotgun the other as soon as the first was finished when she went tweaking by a room, turned her head in time to see the boss man himself sitting there staring at something intently. Danii walked in, "Hey there boss, lookin' as beat as the rest of us," Hesitating for a moment before holding out the extra coffee to him, "Coffee?" It was her coffee after all, her life sustaining drinkable gold, but she'd just have to get more later.
"Wait, are we having a meeting or something?" She really was in another world right now, lucky part, when Danii crashed later on in the day she was going to really crash and burn, maybe she'd actually be able to get some sleep then. Five hours was all she needed and she'd be right as rain again, "No, that's tomorrow right?" Too much coffee, needed to go work out then pass out on the weight bench or something. Passing thought, she just realized this was the first time she found herself actually face to face with the boss man since she had been sent to Vegas. It was comical how quickly she paled, taking a huge swig of her coffee to regain composure and momentarily begging whatever deity might be listening that he didn't bring that up.

It didn't make life as the leader of The Avengers any simpler with the fact that there were more unknown villains and heroes emerging everyday that SHIELD wasn't aware of yet, which was another big issue to deal with. The reason that he was so concerned about this was that he was hoping that one of these heroes would be his best friend, Bucky Barnes. Steve could never believe that Bucky died that day, because he was to stubborn to actually think that it ever happened, but it was just wishful thinking for him.
Most hadn't seen Captain America in the field of battle as of late, not saving the world by fighting that is, but keeping it under control by researching these emerging heroes and villains to make sure they weren't a critical danger to society was good enough right now. Not to mention all the criminals and vigilantes in Gotham City, which were all an interesting bunch, along with the Justice League. That city has intrigued Steve ever since Natasha discussed to him that she would be going there for a mission, so it sparked an idea of importance for Steve. The Avengers have been separated as of late, which was good for everyone to get away for awhile, and enjoy their lives for the time being after Loki's attack, although with so much danger lurking around these days, Steve took it upon himself to come up with a concept on creating a chip that could be planted into mobile devices such as a cellphone, so that it could send an alarm to the Helicarrier in case one of the agents of SHIELD or members of The Avengers were in danger.
Howard Stark was a brilliant scientist and technologist that Steve learned allot from before his incident of being frozen in ice. The two spent allot of time working on different inventions, mostly Steve watching the genius mind of Howard's go to work creating weapons and devices that still to this day amazes him. Tony was lucky to have a father like Howard who could pass on such intelligence to his son, which Tony used to become Iron Man, and Steve was thankful to have gained some technological knowledge from Howard, so that had allot to do with this conception being made to better the safety of the other Avengers and SHIELD agents. It was rather important for this chip to be created, so Steve recently had one created indeed, since he knew allot of inventors, scientist, and technologist, although he wanted to speak to Nick about the idea first to see what he thought about it.
Looking for Nick was difficult, the man was practically all over the Helicarrier, so Steve walked threw the Helicarrier at a fairly slow pace, until he spotted Nick along with Danii. He calmly approached the two, with his arms placed behind his back in a gentle manor, and he had a slight smile on his face. "Hello there, Danii. It's pleasant to see you again," Steve had his attention sat on Dani, but then he turned his attention over to Nick, and spoke once more. "I've been meaning to discuss a rather important idea with you Nick, if you're not too busy at the moment?" With everything transpiring as of late, such as Loki's attack, and the new emerging heroes and villains, this idea of Steve's could definitely come in handy.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: Complete TAGGED: Nicky Fury & Danii Washington WORDS: 755 LYRICS: B.O.B. & Hayley Williams NOTES: I hope you enjoy it! [atrb=border,0,true] While everyone else had been dashing around like chickens with their heads cut off, busy with their personal lives, running on absolutely no sleep (like Danii), Clint concentrated almost solely on work and SHIELD. He didn't care about the merging universes. He was still here, and life was in order. It made him a bit lazy, true. So relaxed was he that he was almost getting bored sitting up in the nest day after day, picking off slackers on the bridge. But really, what else could he do? He was a thirty-five year old bachelor who had absolutely no interest in women and was a huge workaholic. He was needed here at the helicarrier and here he would stay until called away somewhere. Today there was to be an unexpecred lapse in his uneventful life. This was to be the first time in several weeks that he had gotten to talk to Fury. He had just happened to be wandering down the corridor of the helicarrier when he spotted the big man, Danii Washington, and Steve Rogers down at the other end, in a group. Of course, Clint's mind was so in tune with work and covert operations that all he could think was an invariable Meeting for a new Mission? In an instant he completely forgot where he was going and he wandered toward the small group. "Danii, Fury, Cap." He pulled up next to the trio and acknowledged each in turn. Danii looked tired beyond belief, and the sharpshooter couldn't help but wonder exactly how long it had been since she last slept. Her life was full of misadventures and things lately, Clint knew; Wade, and work, and other things kept her busy. No doubt she had more sugar in her bloodstream right now than a normal human should have in a year. Even now She was offering coffee to Nick, and Clint figured that it had tons of sugar, and some of that Almond Joy creamer that everyone loved. He highly doubted that the big man would take it, especially in the condition he seemed to be in at the moment. Fury just looked worried. Maybe SHIELD had another crisis on their hands. In any event Clint was there to help resolve it. He was tired of being a sitting duck. Cap had the same demeanor about him as Fury did, too. Worried, and plagued. But the first Avenger seemed to have a bit of hope, too, a light that was at the end of the tunnel. What it exactly consisted of, was something that Clint couldn't identify for sure. He couldn't say that he felt the same way, so he said nothing else and hung back a little. Hopefully others would show up and then he would actually have someone to talk to. Tags: Fury, Danii, Cap, and anyone else who decides to wander in Words: 467 Notes: Here! GIF: Jeremy Renner in MI: Ghost Protocol as agent William Brandt. Don't we all absolutely love him, especially now that he might be the main character in the next movie?

Bruce got the feeling that he hadn’t been trusted yet, after all he was the one that Loki had wanted when he had been on the hellicarrier and it had been him that had almost caused harm to Black Widow if it hadn’t been for Thor but at the same time it had not been something that he could have helped. He hadn’t done it on purpose and more to the point he hadn’t done it with the intention of hurting anyone. Yet when you put the jade colossus on a ship it is never likely to go well and it was obvious that it wasn’t going to go well. He could tell that some people had been nervous around him he wouldn’t blame them he hated the hulk almost as much as they did. Yet they didn’t have to live with it or deal with it and he did therefore he didn’t think that they should have been allowed to judge him as they saw fit as he didn’t do it to them so he would not have wanted for them to have seen him in a different way for anything, He had been happy to be hidden away he had been out of the world and he hadn’t wanted to come back he had been happy helping people and not doing anything that had meant that he had been able to not have to worry about anything. SHIELD had pulled him back it had not been wanted and then when the hulk had emerged and had done what it had done it had he couldn’t have helped that and he had tried to do so but it had been to no avail. He had fought by their side when they had needed him to do so but he had been told that he could have left when he had helped with the gamma information that they had needed but the fact that it hadn’t been the case was something that did anger Banner slightly. Now that they wanted him in for a meeting about what had happened to the world he got the feeling that he wasn’t going to escape SHIELD’s grasp for a long time. Walking into the room he saw some of the newly dubbed avengers sitting around settling into a chair he looked at Fury first. “What can I do for you now as I get the feeling this isn’t about gamma signals and you want the big guy rather than me?” he said. Niles "Kodak" Gallagher | SHIELD Agent | Totally offtask | Wants Coffee | 391 words Niles had not taken this situation as seriously as many others had, in fact, he had seized the chaos as an opportunity to be MIA from his desk, and when he was chained to the thing, he was barely doing any work at all. No one really noticed him sitting there beating his own personal high score in Galaga. Everyone else was worrying that the sky was falling.
He also secretly loved it when the helicarrier was busy. Usually that meant something terrible and life-threatening was going on, but Niles found a sense of calm in all the scrambling. Being so jittery himself all the time, it felt oddly soothing to see everyone else constantly in motion. He preferred the busy life, which was why being chained to deskwork was murder for him. Niles didn't care how good he was at his job, being a systems analyst was not for him. No matter how many pills they gave him for his trembling, he felt like the tremors were always present, even if he was perfectly still. He needed to be actively doing something to feel at ease. How long could they sentence him to this job? Surely he had been suspended from the field long enough.
His eyes flickered over to whatever was going on at the top deck, where the group of Avengers had gathered. Niles immediately recognized one of them as Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye and cursed under his breath. The archer would surely have seen his activities with his keen vision. Niles was sure because he was an astute observer himself. Granted, he could never rank up to Clint's ability, especially to see long distance, but if anyone in that room had been paying attention to what was happening, it would have been him (Fury only had one eye after all). Niles quickly tried to switch the screen to the data he was supposed to be de-scrambling for intelligence information, hoping for that off chance that everyone had been too preoccupied playing Chicken Little to notice a small SHIELD agent such as himself.

Jerry Tucker loved his job. He pretty much made his own hours (except when an incident occurs in which he needs to hack some sort of database, which is admittedly rare), even when working no one really knew enough about his field to say whether he was doing good or bad (with the exception of Stark, but he was usually off not caring, anyway), he had his own workspace, and as much coffee as he desired.
Yes, for Jerry just as much as anyone else, coffee was the primary source of energy and ability to stay on task. He'd be lying if he said that hacking and security work were so interesting to him that he stared wide-eyed at all the code. It was interesting, yes, but coffee was probably just as important as his interest, which is why he found himself filling his mug (Matrix-themed, a gag gift from one of his co-workers here, though the joke was on them because it was a large mug that he used all the time) at the coffee maker next to his station which he happened to be one of few people who used, so the flavored creamers were still nearly full. He dreaded the day that someone found out that they had so much, because they would be picked clean.
Jerry was taking a break despite the major crises that had been unfolding almost every day now, and he was taking a leisurely stroll around the Helicarrier, mug in hand, trying not to get in anyone's way while his small army of automated processes chipped away at dozens of security systems trying to find a weak point. He was confident that he set up his programs perfectly so that with minor tweaking, he could go watch a movie or read a book for hours without having to babysit his computer. It wasn't until his programs got through or the Helicarrier itself had a breach that he'd have to go to it. He had it set up so that the computer would alert his phone if he was needed.
So yeah, Jerry loved his job because he didn't really have to do anything.
Despite the massive amount of happenings of late he was still surprised to see a group consisting of several higher-ups, not to mention a SHIELD agent that wasn't an Avenger or Fury.
"Colonel Fury, nice to see you. Same with you, Captain, and Dr. Banner as well. Danii, how are you this morning?" He did notice out of the corner of his eye on the way here another Agent, Gallagher, he believed, that was playing a game rather than processing data. He didn't say anything, since really he was doing the same thing right now. In his case, though, his work was still getting done.
Jerry looked relatively well-rested compared to his superiors here. He knew that Fury probably hadn't slept for several days now, and the same with Danii. The Captain and the doctor were probably slightly less tired, but Jerry knew them to be busy lately, all while Jerry took naps all day. He couldn't help but smile at the thought.

Who: Nick Fury, Avengers, SHIELD, open. Where: Hellicarrier What: Plan to clean up the streets. Notes: Fury is NPC until one applies! Still open to more people coming in! Posting order does not apply due to the amount of people in the thread.
Upon the screen the faces followed by a small description, he'd pass through. Bane, The Joker, Magneto, Loki, Graviton, and various others of which were classified by order of threat. There had been much action by various villains, something had the feathers riled on black wings. He had been through the information countless of times, he knew his enemies like the back of his hands, the ones who made themselves known of course. He was wise to assume there were thousands more of which he did not know but new purpose struck him to find and bag them all. Perhaps it was the events of which conspired since Loki almost destroyed New York or the effects of the new world, all that Fury knew was that it was a battle they were facing.
His eye looked up to catch sight of the first agent to enter the room, the blonde daughter of one of their agents, Danii Washington. In her hands she held a steaming cup of coffee that was no doubt strong judging by the look on her face. "Hey there boss, lookin' as beat as the rest of us," His hand that had touched his chin dropped as he bowed his head slightly at her. "Coffee?"
"No thank you, Agent Washington." But there was something he'd like to know and it held the events of a Vegas trip. "Wait, are we having a meeting or something?"
"Or something." He spoke as the second agent entered the room. Steve Roger, Captain America, America's First Avenger. He was happy to see SHIELD agents were beginning to filter in though his face remained set in stone. "I've been meaning to discuss a rather important idea with you Nick, if you're not too busy at the moment?"
"I'd say now would be the best time," He spoke as he rose from his seat. Clint, Bruce, Jerry, and Niles filtered in as he waved his hand to the empty seats for those who stood to sit.
“What can I do for you now as I get the feeling this isn’t about gamma signals and you want the big guy rather than me?”
"No, Banner, it isn't about radiation and I'd rather you stay here, we finished the repairs about three months ago and I'd rather not have to do it again, copy?" He asked as his eyebrow raised slowly.
"Colonel Fury, nice to see you. Same with you, Captain, and Dr. Banner as well. Danii, how are you this morning?"
"I'm fine." Short and sweet.
Each individual that was present in the room, as well as the ones who and yet to notice the activity, held a certain spark about them that had attracted SHIELD to them in the first place. They were warriors, Heroes. Some possessed incredible strength while others held the most brightest of minds. If anyone had been watching the Captain they would have seen just the slightest of twitch against the corner of his mouth. They were a dysfunctional group by nature but together through times of hardships they made an amazing group.
"I'll start by," He began as he looked to Danii, "Asking what in the blue hell happened in Vegas? A few months ago I get a notice on my desk of a certain marriage to a mercenary I'm more certain does more harm than good, Lady Liberty." His hands were crossed upon his chest as he turned on that note and touched the large screen behind him.
"All over the world more and more criminals have sprouted up, especially with the merged worlds. New York and Los Angeles we both had but the other world had two cities we weren't aware of and I'm sure they won't be the last." He swiped the screen as images of Gotham and Metropolis were now present. Images of clowns, explosions, a large man with leather and a muzzle, Batman; Superman, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, a man with a green ring and a woman with a golden lasso. His fingers extended as the images on the screen moved and the villain profiles of some of the more dangerous from the new world came into view.
"Now, the streets are gettin' dirtier and the small time crooks are gettin' nervous. We've gotten word that something might be comin' and I'm not sure if that means Loki's New York attempt all over again or something worse. At this point I think it's time to start ropin' them all in and puttin' em all away. Some disagree. At this point I say I'm open to some suggestions and they better not be stupid ass suggestions." He said as he looked to Niles.

[atrb=border,0,true] Clint had almost instantly noticed Kodak over there in the corner, playing Galaga, when he had walked in. But this was business with Fury, so he didn't bother to mess with it. Plus Clint knew that the Boss didn't approve of his job. So he would refrain- for now. In the future, the kid was going to get his fair share. Clint was going to see to that. Bruce Banner showed up, and said something about Fury really wanting the monster. Now that Clint knew the Doctor a bit better, he could see why SHIELD kept him on even after the near-destruction of the Helicarrier. The man had a lot of brains, and Clint firmly believed that even if the other, green side wasn't there, Bruce would still be one of their specialty agents. He was a gifted scientist. So many times had he been in the core of the Avengers' success. Yes, Hulk was powerful, but Bruce's help as himself was even more powerful- yes, more useful than the monster. Jerry Tucker walked in at a relaxed pace, and he recognized everyome else except Clint. The sharpshooter felt a bit ignored and lonely here over to the side of everyone but it was alright. His eyes flickered over to the Hackerman before finding the others again.
Fury refused the coffee, just as predicted. A smile flickered across Clint's face. As the Big man waved them all to seat themselves, the sharpshooter had to think for a second before he pulled a chair and set himself down. "What the blue hell happened in Vegas?" Fury's attention turned to Danii. Clint's smile more than flickered this time. It took an effort to contain a laugh. Danii had married Wade Wilson, Deadpool, on an excursion. That was supposed to be all her business, but a little about it had leaked, and that's how Clint- and, yes, Fury- knew. "All over the world more and more criminals have sprouted up, especially with the merged worlds. New York and Los Angeles we both had but the other world had two cities we weren't aware of and I'm sure they won't be the last. Now, the streets are gettin' dirtier and the small time crooks are gettin' nervous. We've gotten word that something might be comin' and I'm not sure if that means Loki's New York attempt all over again or something worse. At this point I think it's time to start ropin' them all in and puttin' em all away. Some disagree. At this point I say I'm open to some suggestions and they better not be stupid ass suggestions." Clint couldn't help but agree. Yup, more heroes had sprouted up since the merging, but criminals, of course, came with them. "I think that we need to pull some teams together, whoever we can find, and go and do a purging." he spoke up at Fury's suggestion. He hoped that it wasn't something the Colonel would consider stupid-ass. "But if anyone's opposed, it's just an idea." Jerry scratched his head, unsure of what to say. If Nick Fury of all people wasn't sure what to do, he couldn't think of anyone that might be able to. He leaned against the wall in thought, however, sipping his coffee and staring at the floor for a full minute before speaking.
"As far as I can reason, the first thing I'd want is for their all-star team, the Justice something, to show that they support us, so that we can see whether their goals coincide with our own. I suggest that we start by making a public announcement that we'd like to meet their team, or some representative for their team, to talk about what's happened here. Then we can compare notes on bad guys and maybe work together to get the streets clean? I don't know if this merging is permanent, but as far as I'm concerned we should start acting like it is. Maybe we can invite one of their people to act as an honorary member of SHIELD, firstly to foster a friendship, and secondly so that we can learn, over time, what they really stand for.
"Some of them seem to be a force to be reckoned with. That Superman in Metro City or whatever seems all but indestructible to me, and Batman in Gotham sounds like a nightmare. That's not to say we couldn't manage, but if we're going to actually do something, we should do it quick to get more information so that we can form an organizational plan and to prepare for contingencies."
Jerry wasn't sure if that helped at all, but at least he tried to contribute. He looked at his fellow agents to see if they had any idea, sipping on his coffee as he did so.

Bruce didn’t like this as he got the feeling that this was a forming of a team he had not wanted to be on a team all he had been brought in for was to deal with Loki and yet now they seemed to think that he would want to stick with them. Part of him was brought back to something that Stark had said about Fury and the fact that it was a super secret boy band and he could see where the other man was coming from but he was starting to like the idea less and less as it was starting to feel like he was going to be able to leave the avengers after all he had been brought in for his expertise and that was why he had allowed them to bring him back to America he knew that without the likes of Thor there wouldn’t be that many that would be able to stop the hulk and that was something he always had as an ally. If Bruce was being honest he didn’t give a damn about the agents or their personal lives he just wanted to get back to helping people who needed it and not having to be the hulk. When Fury said that he didn’t want to have to deal with the hulk after they had just rebuilt Bruce couldn’t help the tightening in his jaw. ”Maybe if you hadn’t have put me in a volatile situation like I was in then you wouldn’t have had so much damage that you would have to fix did you think of that?” he said ”After all I am a scientist not a soldier.”The best thing to do is to work out who is out there and try and work out what is friendly and what is not, even between our own people after all the mutants have fought each other before we want to know if they are going to fight with each other again or are we going to have unity against whatever came out into the world. he said ”I on the other hand am going back into obscurity, this isn’t my problem I don’t work for the government and I told you I would help with the gamma readings and that is it, if you come looking for me again I will let the big guy deal with you and you don’t want that.WORDS: 405 TAGGED: everyone OUTFIT: Link Here NOTES: Banner isn’t happy LYRICS: Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace CREDIT: CaeJae@caution2.0

She greeted, the phrase said so quick it sounded more like a chirp then anything else, if it hadn't been for the bags under her eyes and the way she was getting the coffee shakes as she downed another swig, people probably would have just thought that she was feeling a little more chipper then normal, "Ooo do tell, you always have damn good ideas," Danii meant that too, even being transplanted through seventy years he caught on quick and knew how to use whatever he learned to his advantage, which was pretty damn great in her book. "Clint! Hey," Danii gave him a chirp for a greeting as well, and then everyone else seemed to pile into the room and she had to wonder for a moment if everyone else had been running around as much as she had cause that damn Niles looked pretty well rested as far as she could tell. Pain in the ass. Danii made a mental note to drag him down to the gym and work him into next week, which admittedly wasn't fair because he was regular human and she was a gamma radiation baby, but still, he was waaaay too well rested in her book. Oh even Bruce had come out of his lab, "Oh wow, Bruce, have you been workin' out or something? You don't look anywhere near meek and mild mannered as you usually do," Wait.....why had she said that? Why did she feel like that was something to comment on? Maybe she had been spending too much time with Wade, he said weird things like that every now and then. She was taking another deep swing of the precious, precious coffee when when the director laid the question on her, which of course caused Danii to choke in surprise, sputtering for air and coughing to get the coffee out of her lungs. "Ahh......yeah, we.........had a connection? And about five bottles of wine too many," The second part sounded like one giant run on sentence, said as quickly as she had ever said anything in her life, "We're divorced now at least," The blonde offered with a very dry chuckle, red staining her cheeks as she thought about the entire situation, "Now wouldn't be the time to spring on you that we're datin' would it? No, well then let's move on!" She made something akin to a flailing motion in hopes that the boss would continue, finishing her coffee and starting the next cup. She watched the images with a keen eye, "I think Jer's got the right idea, though maybe publicly calling them out would be a bit much, I've looked through some archive stuff that popped up on them after the worlds merged and they aren't big with publicity, or it doesn't seem like they are at least," So maybe a big gesture like that wouldn't be the best idea, "I'm more then willin' to go sniff some of them out if ya want, either just talk and get a feel for them first, then set up a meeting, or just ask them to meet up straight out," Either or, "But I'm sure we outta stress the friendliest of terms with whatever we're doin' as far as that League is concerned. that Superman guy is supposed to be faster then a speedin' bullet and more powerful then a train or somethin' like that," Danii furrowed her brows slightly at Bruce, "I don't think you've noticed the severity of the situation, this is everyone's problem already," No two ways about it, things were escalating to all time highs, "Not only is Loki still out there, or did you forget about him in the mansion? We've got the secret six running around like a wild pack of assholes, we're outnumbered about fifteen to one where the petty criminals are concerned, and a month or so ago, I put down a giant humanoid crocodile in the middle of downtown Manhattan, oh and crazy clown chick," Danii pointed out the image of the red and black clad harlequin, "She was working on mass manufacturing bombs when I snuck up on her, and this is just what I've come across," There was something else though, that she couldn't seem to remember, Danii snapped her fingers when she was finally able to recall it. "Oh! And Wade says the other clown," She pointed to the one that looked like he had stepped out of a Stephen King nightmare, "Has a crystal or some shit that might have something to do with all of this, I'm not sure how great his intel is, cause let's face it, he's got more then a few layers of crazy goin' on, but it's a lead. So I'm thinking Clint's on the nose about rounding these guys up, but we're gonna need more then a few teams, we're gonna need all hands on deck boss," She shot Bruce a look, he was in it whether he wanted to agree to it or not, they were going to need him, "no matter what ya plan on doing," [style=padding: 0px 10px; font-size: smaller;] Tag: Fury and anyone else that pops in! "Your ears must be burning."
"They're totally talking about you."
[/i] He probably did know, because he chose quite the interesting moment to crash the party. Wade-style, of course - if he was going to crash the party, he was going to do it using the front door and guided instructions from the staff and crew. What was the point in littering the Helicarrier with bodies if you weren't going to totally take advantage of their navigational knowledge, have them walk you straight into the ongoing meeting that was apparently top secret, and have a good talk on the way? The kid he was talking to couldn't have been any unluckier; if there was one thing the newbies should never be exposed to, it was recounted tails of Wade Wilson exploits, starring the one and only lead character to them all. He had far too many of these stories to recount, tell everyone and share with the world. It was a weird situation whenever he got started, because he wasn't interested on if they liked or didn't like the tale - he was just going to keep talking until he was tired of their company. That took long periods of time, unfortunately. The doors swung open, and it would seem that all the group were going to be exposed to were the tail end to this one. The very finishing details to what could only be expected as some kind of horrific merc work the Canadian had carried out. He was good at his job, but he wasn't known for doing things in a "sweet, humane and traditional" manner - far from it, he loved the explosions far too much. And the means of decapitating a man using strange kitchen utensils - ask him, he'd happily explain, as well as give helpful tips and hints. "So anyway, I sew the guy back up, thing in his chest cavity, and sent him on his merry way. But, wouldn't ya know it? Got back to camp, when suddenly BLAM! All over his compadres, soakin' 'em with blood and guts. I mean, in all my years of doing this, I have never, and I mean NEVER witnessed a spleen shoot out and burst all over a dude's face like that. Intestines, heart, liver, you name it! Was like some kind of twisted Alien chest-burster scene, but there wasn't some creepy little xeno just chilling out in the gaping hole. Moral of the story? C4 makes for AWESOME maiming materials. Now, skedaddle, I got business here now. And hey! Tip your waitresses!"He smirked as the overly exposed agent about turned and darted from the room, tripping over himself as he did. Ahh, newbies - so much fun to mess with them. Which of course meant that, when he turned, that remorseless smirk of his hadn't faded. To be frankly honest, he was very much proud of himself. "Nicky! Nickzilla! The Nickinator! Fury of the Nick! Nickaroo! You're lookin' balder than usual, did you just polish that dome? It's got a good feel about it, kinda like a chrome spoiler, keep it up! Who's the artist for you this week? Actually, no, never mind, don't answer that..."And so, it had begun. He turned to Danii, and as he smirked, he shifted up to her, wrapping an arm around her side and squeezing her. "Vegas TOTALLY misses us. I've never seen so many excited Elvis impersonators in my life! Or maybe they were angry...to be honest, I couldn't tell, I was waay too interested in that neon sign. Maybe it offended them. We should probably look into that."With that out of the way, he turned back to the room, folding his arms across his chest, glancing around himself with a confident smirk. A la Wade form, of course - nothing out of the usual going on, which was probably a shame, because he wasn't exactly a "normal" individual so to speak. "So, what're we talking about? Russian cosmonauts? Another evil guy trying to take over the world? Is it the Mole-Man?! That guy really needs to get some sun, seriously, no-one should be THAT pale. Like, ever. It's just not natural. Wait...no, we're talking super bowl, right? I dunno, I know Cap'll say New York, but I'm thinking North Carolina have it this year, I have a hunch."[/center][/blockquote]

Well, Steve listened to their interlocution carefully, as he waited for the chance to inform Nick and everyone on his idea.
After everyone concluded with their comments, Steve spoke aloud to Nick and everyone listening. "I've came up with this concept on creating a microchip that can be embedded into mobile devices and other mobile possessions, so that it will be capable of sending an alarm to the Helicarrier and other SHIELD strongholds in case an agent suffers from harm or injury. It would act as a lifeline," He glanced around at the others in attendance hoping they would find his idea of great significance.
Steve nodded at Clint, Jerry, and Danii, since they gave him some recognition. Listening to Nick's comment on "start ropin' them all in and puttin' em all away" was surprising, but if that's what the director wanted, then Steve could trust his judgment. "I should analyze this information provided with the merged worlds for strategic and tactical purposes for future assignments," He spoke directly to Nick, as the others were conveying information of their own as well.
"I agree with Jerry's view on this affair of circumstance. My opinion on the course of action would be for us to act as conciliators," There wasn't much to say, since Jerry said it all in the right manner. All of a sudden, contrary to Steve, Wade walked into the meeting still in progress. A deep sigh of disapproval came from Steve, as he witnessed the mercenary here, but he didn't know why exactly. Steve remained quiet and apprehensive on his arrival, then had to listen to his rambling, which was rather annoying. "How did you gain access to the Helicarrier? Did you even receive authorization to be here?" Steve asked Wade in concernment.
Steve happened to glance over at Danii, since he knew that her and Wade had a fling going on. It was none of his business, but this was an important meeting, and Wade was bothersome for Steve, since the two had a rough past toward each other. It was hard for Steve to tolerate him or even be in the same room with the mercenary, because Steve couldn't trust Wade at all.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: Complete TAGGED: Everyone! It was weird to him, to be in full uniform, wearing the SHIELD logo, representing them as one of their own. It sucked that he didnt have a mission.. still, but he was patiently biding his time, but practically chomping on everyone, trying to get into a good mission. He would be good, no better than that. Great. His boots made an echoing sound across the floor of the Helicarrier. So far this was the best part of being put to work. But he had only been there for a few hours, so he kept on getting lost. Turned around. It was a few times that he found himself in the same areas, and that frustrated him. While he was walking he kept checking, and double checking his gear, making everything was in sound order. He was mostly nervous, trying to find his way to the meeting with Director Fury, and some of the Avengers.
Logan also had to keep reminding himself that he didnt need to be star struck when he was introduced to them, and that it would be in his best interest to treat them like normal people, even if he did get to meet Tony Stark himself, which was like his dream in life.
A few more turns while walking, and he finally found where he was going. Nice office space, where Directory Fury was, along with some other big names, like Rogers, and the Hulk, who he was less happy to see. He was debriefed on all of the Avengers, and Bruce had to be his least favorite. There was also, Clint, and other SHIELD members that he didnt have the opportunity to meet yet.
He stood in the back corner trying to be as quiet as possible. He didnt want to interrupt anyone while they were talking, he really hate that. So he just stood there, back against the wall, just taking it all in. Listening intently to what Rogers was saying about Wade. He almost made a chuckle when he asked him if he had clearance.
"I sure do hope he has some," Logan thought to himself. It still was somewhat surreal that this was happening to him. He was apart of this organization, and he was going to be able to make a difference, hopefully for the better.
He finally made eye contact with Fury, well kinda. Hard to make full eye contact with a man that only has one. "Director Fury, Agent Massaro reporting. Was told that you needed me here, sir."[/color]
Well that sounded a bit like a blabbling idiot. He sighed, and walked closer to the group, hanging his head just a tiny bit. "Avengers in the room and you sounded like a complete idiot. GOOD JOB Logan. Good job."
