And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Dirty, almost muddy blonde. Pretty much always keeps it short.
Eyes: Hazelnut brown, large, gentle
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 150 lbs.
Distinguishing Marks: Alex's right ear is pierced. He usually wears a simple metal stud in it. Other than that, none of note.
Appearance: Alex seems to be a younger version of his brother Scott, in appearance, anyway. He is just a bit skinnier but especially in the face one can tell that he and Cyclops are related. His blue eyes are always friendly and twinkling. He radiates an aura of love and kindness and it fives him a characteristic glow. However, when he's convicted about something he loves his eyes are filled with fire and brimstone, in extreme cases they turn the hue of his energy.
He's not in perfect physical condition however he has been away from the X-Men for a while and is newly getting back into shape.

Personality: The Alex Summers of old is a lot different personality-wise than the Alex you will meet today. Before being recruited into Professor Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr's first team, Alex was a brash, violent kid, preferring to be alone and anti-social. This was mostly due to the ordeal he and his sister faced when they were kidnapped as teenagers, and the discovery that eventually sent the handsome blonde kid to jail- killing the kidnapper with his powers. Once described by a guard as "Preferring solitary confinement".
However, when he was taken out of the prison where he was held and introduced to Xavier and Erik's team, he started to find out that he had a great potential for love and caring. He made fast friends with the few other mutants, and as Xavier taught them about the current crisis and things, and how their enemy wanted to wipe out humanity, Alex found a soft side for people who were less fortunate than him, and those in danger.
It was a severe blow to his pride the night that the Hellfire club came and took Angel, also using Havok's own energy to kill Armando Muñoz, Darwin, one of Alex's teammates. Still he retained his loving personality, and it only grew and grew as the years have passed. Now he is more genial and kind than ever. Loves kids, and teenagers. Also, for some reason has developed a fear of being separated from humanity, small spaces, and heights. This is odd considering that he can fly, and does so often with no qualms.

History: Alexander Summers's real parents, Katherine and Christopher, died when he was very young. A severe plane crash is generally recognized as the reason; in fact, the plane was attacked by Shi'ar soldiers. Alex has almost no memories of his biological mom and dad at all, nor of his older brother, Scott Summers- the mutant known as Cyclops.
For some reason or other, the two brothers were separated, and the two did not even know the other existed until a long time later. Alex was adopted by the Blanding family, Joanna, Andrew, Haley, and Todd. From the time he could know who his family was, they were his parents and siblings. Alex grew into a happy, healthy tween, excelling in school and developing a special talent for earth science. He liked to play football, and was talented at it as well. He even got called up to high school practice a few times his eighth grade year, and made a game-winning touchdown in a game.
From early childhood, Alex had a close connection with his little sister, Haley. The two were inseperable. They went everywhere together, and when a boy broke her heart, Alex eas right in the middle of the bloody noses and black eyes that followed. Todd, older and more reserved, secretly resented Alex for his closeness to Haley. He alone out of all the siblings knew Alex's true heritage, and that he wasn't a true Blanding.
Alex was a junior in High School, and Haley a Freshman, when a stranger opened the window to Haley's room and snatched her. Luckily, she started to scream before he could get a cloth in her mouth, and Alex awoke from next door. Alex pursued the kidnapper for a long ways, adrenaline pumping through his veins. He wasn't going to let him have Haley.
Finally he caught up to them at the getaway car. Alex threw himself on the guy, and tried in vain to inflict damage. The other man was too powerful for him, and Alex found himself stuffed in the trunk like a sack of flour.
They travelled a long ways, it seemed, and finally the two siblings were led into a warehouse, blindfolded, bound, and gagged. The first thing Alex did when he came to was start to work the cloth band tying his hands together off. He could hear the sobs of haley across the room. He tried to talk to her, but his words came out as muffled, broken fragments. Next thing he knew, the guy came and ripped Alex's blindfold off. "You tried, but not hard enough." He said, and pulled a switchblade out of his pocket. Haley was across the room, and her eyes widened in horror. He came closer. Alex struggled. A pink glow started to form on his chest. He was going to kill her, was all the kid could think, and tears sprung to his eyes. Please, God, if you can hear me, save her!
The waves of energy spun around him, and before Alex could blink the top half of the warehouse was completely sheared off. The kidnapper was cut in half, and lying on the floor, sightless eyes ahead, knife still in hand. Luckily, the blast had been up enough to spare Haley's life. Alex worked the bonds free and scrambled to get her out.
The two sat there and held each other until the Police came. They seemed to know immediately what had happened, and ripped the two apart, putting Alex in a car destined for jail. Haley screamed for them to bring him back but they wouldn't. Alex could do nothing but look at her distraught figure through the window as they carted him off.
There he stayed for six months. He had never felt so alone in his life. They were charging him with homicide, and had no chance of bail or parole.
Almost no chance...
One day two strange men came to visit Alex in his cell. They said that their nameswere Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, and they were going to get him out. At first Alex was suspicious but then two days later they led him out. That was the first day that he learned his true name was Alexander Christopher Summers.
Taking him to a secret base, they let him and a few other mutants meet for the first time. At first Alex was as usual suspicious of the others. But then he learned that the rest of them had powers like he did. This got him to start relaxing. He made friends with the rest- Raven, Mystique. Armando, Darwin. Angel. Hank, Beast. And most of all, Charles Xavier. Alex became very close to the young scientist, who had just graduated from College. The learned man tried to train him to control his power, and when that didn't work Hank built something that did it for him.
Then the Hellfire club broke in. They caught the small teen team off-guard and barrelled through, convincing Angel to stay with them. Then, they threatened to kill all. Alex, withough thinking, jumped in and shot a blast at the perps.
Azazael Absorbed it. "Adapt to This!" Darwin, consumed by the energy. It was thrust down his throat. In horror, the rest of the team watched their friend morph, morph, morph again, and then disappear, presumed dead.
No one else had the heart to stop the Club from leaving.
Alex, in the ensuing months, worked harder than ever to perfect his powers. So did the others. They were ready when the government asked them to help with the Cuban missile crisis.
What awaited them was not in the least expected. The situation was grave. Alex desperately wanted to help his friends and go deeper, however, he and Hank McCoy stayed back to fight Azazael and Riptide.
What happened next should be general knowledge to those reading this file. Erik, Magneto, consumed by his own evil greed, left, along with half of Xavier's team. Alex stayed with the professor, and he became a teacher at the newly-opened Xavier's School for the Gifted. Since then, Alex has been staying behind the scenes, teaching new recruits how to use their gift just like Xavier taught him not so long ago.
He's been in many of the situations that the world knows of, but his involvement is not documented. There was one instance that changed him forever.
The professor had asked him to come along on a spur-of-the-moment mission: many mutants were contained in one spot in the world, in an underground lab being experimented on. Someone was going to free them, the professor was pretty sure. Five-mile island, the place was called. No one got out alive, that is except for one rumored man. Alex said yes, and they embarked.
The kids they picked up were led by a kid, who could project plasma from his eyes. The other's name was Scott- Scott Summers. Alex knew that they were brothers, but refused to believe it. The professor tried to talk the two through it but all the time Alex insisted that he had been raised by the Blandings.
However, the two started to like each other and eventually Accepted the fact that they were brothers.
Time passed, and change was prevalent. Hank McCoy joined the US Senate. Many of the first recruits graduated and some became X-men. Others went into the world and made a living knowing that they could make an impact without inciting fear. Alex stayed with the professor, and slowly faded into the background. A few years before Logan's arrival and the chain of events that sparked the X-men's new battle with Magneto, Alex Stopped active duty as Havok. He believed that he needed to concentrate on the kids.
In the midst of the first and second crisis, Stryker's takeover of the school, and the loss of Jean Grey, Alex was with some of the safe kids. He was instrumental in helping most of them get to safety.
When they were all able to return, he found his brother depressed and weakened by sadness. He tried his hardest to counsel Scott through his lover's death, but it all amounted to naught.
Again he hung back and took care of the kids at the beginning of the third crisis. The school began to have a plague of runaways when the anti-mutant drug was introduced. Half of the students left, but none of them were under Alex's direction. He seemed to have a way with the kids, and they loved him.
Though his involvement in the later events were small and insignificant, Havok was a big player behind-the-scenes. Mainly responsible for holding the School together until the brief disbandment, he was in command when the rest of the staff was off fighting Magneto's brotherhood. He doesn't regret not going.
Now that the crystal has jacked things up beyond belief, Havok has found new strength and decided to rejoin the X-roster. It feels good to him to be on active duty again.

Alexander Summers strolled among the trees in the countryside near the x-mansion, smoking a Camel. Today was a wonderful day to be outside. It was peaceful and warm; the birds were singing in the trees. No one blamed him when he had said that he wanted to take a walk. So now, in a leather jacket, ZZ Top t-shirt, and jeans, he wandered down the trail. Some kids that had wanted to come along trailed behind him, sporting backpacks and binoculars. It was a strange little procession indeed, the tough guy in front smoking, a cub scout pack behind.
"Look, there's a little chickadee!" A twelve-year-old boy offered the curious little bird seed and it hopped over and ate from his hand. The boy squealed in delight, and everyone else gathered around, admiring the small, beautiful bird. Havok stood behind the group, flicking the ashes of his cigarette towards the lush green wood.
A sound. Something big. Alex spun. The kids kept on cooing, and they passed the little bird around. They hadn't noticed, thankfully. It might make them a little easier to protect. Under orders from Xavier, Alex wore his channelling device all the time now. Who knew when he would be needed. This certainly seemed like a time.
The noise was farther ahead, on the trail now. Alex started to conjure up his plasma waves. "Wherever you are..."
Sprinting down the path, a strange man in green. He looked like the jolly green giant- with a set of teeth. He looked very agile, and managed to dodge Alex's first offense.
The children turned and screamed as the green guy was on top of Alex. The velocity of it threw them both back. They rolled backwards, and Havok instantly regained his footing, an instant before the green man. It was enough time to launch himself at the other, and one right hook later, teethy was out cold.
the kids stood there, mouths open, as Alex flung hus assailant over his shoulder. "Okay, Extra PE today, kids." he pointed back down the trail. "We're taking a sprint back to the mansion."
"I'm through talking, get out of my cave,"
