Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Kara smiled “well if that’s how you want it then that’s what I will call you until you tell me otherwise. Superboy I’m not out to hurt you, I know that you don’t want to be here so after lunch you may leave if you want. I don’t want to force you to do what you don’t want to do.” Kara was far from being superman’s sidekick she hadn’t talk to him scene the morning and that was the first time in a month he tried talking to her. Kara just assumed he was too busy and that’s when Kara would sneak away from the fortes and found her best friend Sinestro and her boyfriend Michael, both were teaching Kara the ways of the human world. Kara finished her late lunch and sipped the rest of her soda pop. Kara wanted to go see the puppies and maybe buy Superboy an Xbox so when he’s alone he has something better to do then watch the stupid TV shows. Even if Superboy left Kara would do what she planned with or without him, sure she might be a freak when she asked random strangers questions but she didn’t mind as long as she was learning.
Kara paid the lunch bill with one of her credit cards that she had gotten from Clark earlier that morning. Kara knew the money on the card was hers though being that she got an allowance for cleaning the fortes every day. “What kinds of video games do you like Superboy?” Kara had learned how to play video games a week ago with Michael and Sinestro.

Kara was growing a bit on him. She wasn't going to force him to do things. Even if she had forced him to come down there. She was also content with his name decision. Superboy didn't know how to open up to anyone. Superman was his genetic template and 'father' in a weird way, yet he didn't treat him like a son so much as just a weird bump that won't go away that he just has to suck it up and deal with until the doctors appointment. A weird analogy, but that was what it felt like. And it angered him.
His creators had also betrayed his trust. They had planned to use him as a weapon and thought of him as nothing more. If he couldn't trust his 'mother' and 'father' in a sense then how could he trust anyone. A 'mother' and 'father' were supposed to be the people you could always turn to no matter what and the Cadmus facility was the closest thing he had to a mother and Superman was the closest thing he had to a farther. He had never known what it was like to have a mother or a father or family or someone you could turn to. Ever since he was created everyone he had met had been either rude or used him or did something to him. Well Powergirl hadn't done anything wrong when he had met her.

Kara smiled at Superboy and waited as he finished. “If you want to come you can but I’m going to go to see the puppies, id like if you came along but if you don’t that’s ok to it was nice having lunch with you” Kara got up from the table and walked away being as she had already paid she didn’t need to stop at the counter. Kara glanced behind herself to see if Superboy would be following her. She hoped he would, she wanted to spend more time with the boy, and puppies where one of karats favorite animals. They were so care free and happy not a worry in the world got to those adorable wet nosed pups. She kept walking and glancing behind her to see if he was following her yet. Noticing he was not behind her made her sigh. What was he doing, did he really leave? Kara stopped in front of the pet store and watched the puppies. Maybe he was still sitting at the table thinking about if he should come with her or not. Kara wasn’t going to drag him along she did that once and he didn’t like it. She watched a small white polka dotted pup looking at her, well not at her at something else, the look in the puppies eyes were confused and alone. The puppy was looking at something and Kara wasn’t sure if she wanted to turn around to find out. Being she was on shields alien list she was kind of paranoid. Kara turned around and saw what she was surprised to see.

Superboy didn't know if the lunch was nice for him. He wasn't sure what it was for him. He didn't particularly feel anything good or bad about it. He was angry about being forced there, but other than that he didn't feel anything about it. He wasn't entirely sure he wanted to see any puppies either. He didn't see the good in that or the point in that. They wouldn't make him feel better and they sure wouldn't help him or solve his problems. Going to see the puppies would delay his nothing time. Doing nothing is hard because the simple thought of doing anything can distract you from your nothing and then you have to do what you thought and then you just have to drop everything.
He didn't answer her as she left and instead stayed in his seat debating what he should do. He didn't understand that when someone treats you to lunch you were supposed to be nice to them and do what they wanted. The common rules of society were a complete mystery to him. Even things as simple as saying sorry and making amends were hard for him. Eventually he grudgingly got up and began to follow Kara.

Kara smiled “Superboy I’m glad you decided to come with me.” Kara walked inside the shop and picked up one of the puppies she had come every day to see, he was a German shepherd malamute mix puppy, his fur was soft and fluffy a gold and black color. Kara lightly handed the puppy to Superboy. “This is the puppy I’m gonna get one day, and I hope that if you like him you will want to see him too.” Kara looked at him and smiled. The small little puppy wagged its small little tail and began licking superboys face. The puppy seemed to be happy that Superboy was with Kara today. The puppy was always happy to see Kara and who ever she brought with her. Kara watched Superboy and hoped that the small puppy would make Superboy happy and make him smile, because if this little puppy could make Superboy happy then Kara was going to buy it when Michael took her puppy shopping. Kara watched as Superboy studied the puppy. The puppy didn’t mind Superboy and tended to keep licking the boy of steel. The puppy barked at Superboy with a playful bark as the puppy waged its tail. The small puppy put its small puppy paws on Superboys chest and tried to get Superboy to play with her. “do you like her Superboy?” Kara asked in hopes that the small dog made him feel better and able to let at least someone in to his heart and maybe the puppy would be a good choice after all he could tell the small fluffy pup anything and the puppy wouldn’t tell another soul. www.k9stud.com/images/gfppuppies/gfppuppies_mixed-breed-a201211621527.jpg

(OOC: Sorry it's been five days, the past five days have been pretty crazy because there was a snow storm where I live, but I'm completely back now.) Superboy didn't respond to the first words of Supergirl. He wasn't exactly in the best mood. Then again, he never was. Superboy had never been 'happy' in his life. The closest he had ever gotten was when he had been training with Powergirl. He had been searching for Superman for so long and finally he had felt for the first time he was making progress. But even then he had too much on his mind and too much anger and confusion in side of him to feel the happiness fully. And he didn't know that it was happiness either. Superboy walked into the pet shop feeling very out of place among the various puppies and other animals. Cute wasn't exactly something associated with the boy.
It didn't take Supergirl long to pick up a specific puppy, hand it to Superboy causing him to feel even more out of place and then claim she was going to buy him one day. The puppy began wagging it's tail before it began licking his face repeatedly, which, contrary to how other people might of reacted, did not help Superboy's opinion in or mood in anyway. In fact he just became more disgruntled and felt more out of place as the puppy began to paw his chest. Superboy didn't bother petting the puppy though. He knew from the implanted knowledge in his head that baby animals tended to be weaker than full grown ones. Though he would have came up with that conclusion with out the knowledge as it was pretty obvious. Superboy didn't have full control of his super strength yet. He was just as likely to kill the puppy by accident as he was to actually pet it. He was indifferent to the puppy. He didn't know what he felt, though in all honesty he didn't exactly feel any emotion towards the animal. He didn't answer Supergirl's question. He didn't talk about his 'feelings'. He didn't even know where to start because he didn't even know how he felt in the first place. All of the emotions where confusing. And he felt pathetic and idiotic because of it. He didn't want anyone else thinking he was either nor did he want anyone feeling bad for him.

(ooc: its cool, I’m glad you didn’t freeze. =) ) Kara looked at Superboy. She could tell he didn’t want to hurt the puppy and she thought it was cute. Click and a picture were taken by karats phone. “I think that puppy suits you Superboy, she makes you look strong and manly, with a soft side.” Kara put her phone away and put the puppy back. She watched Superboy for quite some time and hoped that maybe he would ask her something like what was a soft side or something, something that would make Kara feel not so aliened, but knowing that he was a quite one Kara shrugged off the idea. “Let’s go get you an x-box” Kara walked out of the store and headed to the store that said GameStop. She walked up to the clerk and asked him about an x-box, soon enough she purchased and x-box with a unbreakable controller. The Supergirl was thinking about Superboys anger when she bought the controller knowing that he might get angry and throw it, with that Kara began looking for games. “Do you like fighting Superboy?” Kara asked knowing that asking him what he liked would just make him mad with her she just started naming things she thought he might intend on playing. Kara wanted to spoil her Superboy brother, being he was the only blood related brother she had. Even if Superboy didn’t want a family Kara would always be there for him. Kara knew how much the superman thing bothered him so she didn’t want him being bothered by the idea of her.

Superboy didn't know how to respond to Kara's assessment of what the puppy made him look like. He didn't know how holding something or wearing something could make you look like a personality. He didn't understand what she did with her phone either or the clicking sound it made. Just what he needed more confusion. But he didn't say anything. Then she said something that made his head spin. An X-box? What was an X-Box? Well Superboy sure as hell didn't know. And he couldn't understand why anything would be called an X-box. was it a box in the shape of an X? If so then did they was boxes named after other letters? And why would you even give a new name for it. It didn't matter what shape it was in, it still didn't take away the fact that it was just a box!
Superboy was about to ask what an X-box was, but Kara walked out at that moment. Aparently yto go get an X-box. Superboy figured he should probably tell her he didn't have anything X-shaped to put into the box. He put the Puppy back where it belonged before walking out of the store and following Kara. "What is an X-box?" Superboy asked, a tiny bit of confusion forcing it's way into his usually stoic voice and expression. He read the sign that read Gamestop before following Kara in. He had no idea where he was or what was on the wall racks. He was caught off guard by the question. It was strange. He wasn't completely sure he liked fighting. Sure he fought because he wanted to do good in the world. He fouht because he wanted to prove himself. Or at least gain Superman's attention and hopefully his approval. But did he like it? Sure he tened to lean towards fighting. But it was because he had so much pent up anger and rage and feeligns he didn't understand and fighting was the only way he found that he could release them. But they always returned soon enough. "I'm not sure." he responded. He had been in quite a few fights. He knew that much and she probably could guess that as well.

“What is an X-box?” superboys question circled Kara mind. She smiled “it’s a game console. It’s kind of hard to explain being I’ve only just learned to use one a week ago. But you play video games on it." She decided to get a verity of games. “I will teach you to play if you like.” Kara looked at Superboy, she knew he was confused and she wanted him not to be but being Kara she wasn’t good at explaining things like she should have been. Kara looked at superboy’s shoes scared he doesn’t want her to teach him. Kara wanted to hang out with Superboy more and get to know him. She bought the games and looked at Superboy. “It’s your turn to pick where we go next.” Kara said as she held the X-box box and the games. She wondered where he would pick to go; anywhere would be good to her as long as she wasn’t alone. The young blonde would follow Superboy where ever he went if he just led the way. Kara watched Superboy closely with her sweet blue eyes. “Do you want to go home Superboy?” Kara could hear screaming coming from outside of the mall. The young hero put the stuff she bought in a hidden place and looked at Superboy. “Looks like its Super time. Will you team up with me Superboy?” Kara pulled her shirt off reveling the same symbol Superboy wore but the shirt ended just 4 inches below the breast area and her cape flowed out. The shorts she had on fit perfectly with the white shirt and her red boots were stunning. Kara pulled her hair back with a black hair band, now she wasn’t Kara Kent she was the heroine Supergirl.

A game console? He was still confused though he figured that it wasn't an x-shaped box. He would have asked what video games and game consoles were, but Kara had said she'd teach him so he didn't. No need to sound, look and feel like an idiot even more than he did by asking if she was going to teach him about it anyway. He didn't object to her teaching him. "Okay." he replied stoicly. He didn't have much emotion in his voice. Just enough to not sound like some kind of robot. He was a bit intrigued by Kara. She seemed to want to be around him even though he was the way he was. He didn't understand why completely. Maybe it was the same reason he wanted to be around Superman. To be accepted. Superboy may be objected to anything Superman related, but that wasn't because he hated Superman. In fact, he wanted to be like Superman. It reminded him of how Superman was treating him and of what he was. A clone. Just a clone of the real thing. The real Superman.
Superboy didn't exactly know what he wanted to do or where he wanted to go. He didn't know anywhere other than Clark's apartment, this Gamestop place, the food place they ate at and the snowy place that Powergirl trained his super hearing. His mind wandered for a moment as he wondered how Powergirl was doing. He hadn't seen her in quite awhile. He wondered how she was. She was the first person to pay any attention to him. To regard him as a person. To admit to his existence. She helped him with his super hearing problem. Superboy was drawn back to reality by Kara's inquiry to team up. He too heard the screams and his stoic expression turned into a frown. "Let's go." He said before he immediately turned into a blur that only someone else with super speed would be able to follow as he super sped towards the trouble.

Kara kept up with Superboy, hopping that he would be impressed by her following him and not him following her. She noticed he had stopped and she tried so hard to stop as well, but being Kara, she slammed right in to the person causing the trouble. The blonde heroine looked up seeing a very grotesque face. It was of course a wendingo. The monster was huge compared to Kara, it had long white hair and teeth the size of her shoe. The monster was covered in blood from the humans it killed earlier.
Kara was kind of scared of the monster before her; she tried to step back but was caught in the monsters long un-normal arms. Kara began to struggle and twist. This monster was strong, super strong. The last thing Kara wanted to do today was to look weak in front of the one she wants so badly to call brother, but the monster was too strong for Kara to break lose. She had to ask him for help even if it was going to make her look weak. Sure she could have used her laser eyes and destroy the building that was across from her and kill a lot of people but that wasn’t who Kara was, she didn’t like destroying things if she could help it. The blonde looked back at Superboy who was trying to figure out what it was, and why Kara was dumb enough not to stop. “Superboy help, I need you!” the words flowed through Kara’s mouth just as the monster was going to bite the blondes head right off.

As Superboy stopped and looked up at the monster he couldn't help but wonder what the hell it was. It wasn't the most odd thing to happen being just a few days ago Greek monsters rained down from the sky with a giant Medusa and destroyed a part of New York City in a battle that took the combined efforts of himself, the Hulk, Sinestro, Wonder Woman, Raven and and a small army of amazon warriors to take them down. while protecting innocents. Then Kara appeared and rather than stopping she apparently had ran straight into the monster. He ha no idea why she hadn't stopped. Perhaps she had figured that she wouldn't get hurt with her steel hard skin. Well, she was wrong if that was the case. Superboy watched with narrowed as he tried to figure out just what the monster was other than hideous. He figured Kara would be able to break free with her kryptonian super strength. It seems he was wrong on that end as well as a moment later she was asking for his help.
Superboy jumped up with his super strength jumping high into the air and arching down towards the monster. It didn't have much defense while constricting and holding Kara back with both arms. He went to punch the beast in it's face, but it opened up it's mouth and bit down on his fist which turned out to be a mistake as the several teeth that had bit down on him were now half shattered leaving the creature wailing. Superboy jumped back pulling his arm back with him. There was blood running from the middle of his forearm down to his fist, though it was the enemies not his own.

The monster dropped Kara, hitting the ground with a thud Kara stood up and moved back to superboy’s side. “Thank you Superboy. How should we take care of this monster?” Kara looked at him with her blue eyes. This would be the first actual fight Kara would be part of. She was lost on how to handle things and felt pretty stupid. She was sure Superboy would notice her stupidity and not want to hang out with her after this. Kara looked up at the monster and tried her hardest to think about what to do but she was lost. The monster let out an angry roar and took its whopping arms and slammed Superboy and Supergirl back in to the buildings. Kara’s eyes widened in surprise as she hit the wall, her mind rushed to Superboy and how mad he must be with this monster for touching him, Kara could feel the anger in herself start to rise. She flew full speed at the monster and began to punch him in the face and everywhere she could get her hands.
“You bad monster! How dare you hit my brother, now I’m going to hit you until you say sorry!” Kara’s once warm loving blue eyes were beginning to glow red with her anger. The lasers from her eyes began shooting out with no way to stop. Kara was still learning to control her powers and laser eyes she was still trying to control, but Kara’s anger was way too high to care about much of anything else as long as she was trying to protect her family. Even if Superboy didn’t like her he was her brother and seeing the monster hit him mad Kara mad.

Superboy watched as the monster bellowed and dropped Kara. He felt a bit of pride from landing his attack. Kara was even asking him what they should do. This didn't last long and he didn't even get the chance to answer Kara as the monster soon smashed them both. Superboy broke through the wall and the rubble fell on top of him. Superboy didn't answer Kara, not only because they were both attacked a moment later. He didn't understand, or rather didn't know about social interactions. He had no idea he was supposed say you're welcome. He didn't understand about saying sorry or thank you. More annoyance surged inside Superboy than anger as he broke a large piece of rubble that was on top of him and brushed some pieces of rocks off of his shirt.
He was about to attack the monster, however, when he looked over at the monster it seemed that Kara had decided to take the opportunity to begin pounding the beast like there was no tomorrow while yelling at it. Superboy didn't understand why she called him her 'brother'. From what he understood she was Superman's cousin. He wondered if that made them cousins. He was the clone of Superman after all. Bah, he doubted human laws dealt with such things. After all, he doubted clones popped up everday. He didn't understand why she was even angry with the monster for hitting him. He was fine. Sure, the building wasn't, but she didn't seem to be angry about that.
Superboy watched as Supergirl's heat vision kicked in and hit the monster. Superboy felt a surge of emotion he didn't know, though he could tell he didn't like it. It was jealousy. Not only could Kara fly, but she also had heat vision! For some people, or rather most people, super strength, super speed, super jumping, super breath, ice breath, super hearing, impenetrable skin and a rocking kryptonian body would be enough to satisfy them. But not Superboy. He wanted his other powers. He wanted his flight, his heat vision and his other unnatural amount of different visions. He was supposed to have them. He wanted them. It wasn't fair! Everyone was more advanced with their powers than him! If only Superman would help him . . . Superboy didn't even know where to begin with training to get his latent powers well . . . not so latent. Superboy couldn't be outdone by someone with more powers. He had to prove to himself that his powers were enough. That they would suffice. Superboy zoomed forward turning into a blur and punched the creature with his super strength.

Kara began to freak out. This new power she couldn’t help but not be in control of. She backed away from everyone and everything closing her eyes so she wouldn’t harm anything. She was completely scared and she could feel the anger from Superboy. She knew he was mad at her for having more power. Kara could hear the monster cry in pain and how everyone was starting to gather around to watch. Some began to laugh and others began to scream for more monster beating. Kara tried to open her eyes to look around but it sent lasers flying from her eyes. Hitting a building and bringing it down. The girl closed her eyes and called for Superboy “um Superboy I can’t turn them off!!” Kara could feel the heat in her eyes and she began to panic more. What if she could never turn them off? What if she had to walk around with her eyes closed all day? How would she go to school? Kara began feeling around for Superboy scared to open her eyes. And then she touched something rock hard with fabric on it. The object was Superboy. “Is the monster gone? I can’t see? Did you kill it or knock it out? What color is it?” She lightly touched superboys cheek with her soft hand, “Superboy why are you so tense and mad?” Kara thought how now wasn’t a good time to ask but she figured he wouldn’t be very mad at her due to the fact she couldn’t see.
