Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Kara sat in the fortress awaiting the other; she was there for her training and to learn more about the human ways. Kara watched as Krypto slowly walked up to her. He barked at her and growled but Kara just stood still. “It’s ok Krypto I’m not going to hurt you, do you want a gummies?” the great white dog trotted to her and took the gummy from the girls hand and sat beside her. Kara smiled in excitement and began petting Krypto. Kara began to wonder around with Krypto at her side. She lightly traced her hand along the wall. “Krypto, do you remember krypton?” the blonde looked down at the white dog and he just stared blankly at her. “What about a new friend? I have a super puppy at home and I’m sure you would like her” the dog wag his tail in approval and Kara smiled. She could hear someone in the fortress other than her and Krypto and began walking towards the noise.
“Hello, Kal (Clark)...Superboy….Jamie?” Kara called out for her family and her puppy. Kara had thought that maybe Jamie had followed her from the apartment and that she was lost. Kara thought about who else might know about the hidden place and called out for them as well “Batman,…Flash,….Wonder Women?” Kara was starting to get scared. Perhaps someone had followed her hear and planned to kill her, but she was Supergirl the only thing that could cause her much harm was kryptonite and red solar radiation. “speak up now or ill use force!”

Post by Conner "Superboy" Kent on Feb 27, 2013 12:49:18 GMT -5
Superboy wasn’t too happy about the Fortress of Solitude. It served as a getaway for Superman and was quite useful for avoiding Superboy being the man of steel didn’t see it fit to tell him where it was. Then again why should he be surprised? Well he wouldn’t be hiding behind the Fortress of Solitude any longer. Superboy was going to find it. He was sick of all the avoidance, the hiding. It just made his blood boil. Which was surprising with where he was. It was a freezing cold environment. If he wasn’t kryptonian he was sure that he would not of made it as far as he had. He hadn’t a clue as to where the Fortress of Solitude was so he hatched his own little plan to follow Supergirl. He knew that she resided in the Fortress of Solitude so she was bound to go back there at one point. He wasn’t afraid to admit that following the girl around in secret all day was not much fun. In fact, it was quite annoying waiting for her to go back to the Fortress of Solitude. Nevertheless, she eventually did.
Supeboy looked over the Fortress of Solitude. It was brilliant. Beautiful even. IT was like a giant ice sculpture carved out for living. He felt the coolness of the Fortress of Solitude with his hand as he walked along, his footsteps echoing loudly. He heard Kara calling out different names having heard his echoing foot steps. Superboy felt his anger boiling ever harder. His anger rising as he heard the names she called out other than his own. He wondered why she would even suspect him. He hadn’t been told of where the Fortress of Solitude was. Superboy revealed himself as he walked out into her eyesight. “So who else knows where the Fortress is?” Superboy said the anger clear in his voice. “Green Lantern? Aquaman? The rest of the Justice League? Did he tell Lex Luthor too? He seems to be willing to tell a pet dog before me.”

She was glad he followed her she was scared she was going to be alone today. “Who’s Lex? Is he like a food of some sort?” Kara didn’t understand why Superboy was so mad. She lived here for a month before she moved in with Michael and the place was boring. Kara was always told to work the fortress to make sure that everything was ok, to sit and do nothing while everyone else did something.
“Did you see Clark or anyone else while you were following me?” Kara wondered where everyone was. It wasn’t like the cities to be quite, there was always some mass plan to wipe out humanity somewhere and it just felt like a slow day to the blond. She sat back down on her chair and watched the computers for something to do but everything was just as quite as before. Kara pulled the bag of cheetos to her tummy and watched the screens, “well SB was their anything going on in your life that is more fun than these computers?” Kara knew that he wouldn’t answer her question but she thought she would ask anyway.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/bluemiddle.png] Sinestro wasn’t so sure he was supposed to be investigating the Fortress on his own, but he couldn’t help himself. To learn the secrets of such a secluded and mysterious place- he just couldn’t keep himself away from knowledge like that. And perhaps it was as simple as just wanting to see it again. The archeologist inside of him had always loved the Kryptonian architecture. It had been very unique, even when considering the fact that he traveled from planet to planet for years. Shame the planet had been destroyed, if for the loss of the buildings alone. Still, one remained, and he wanted to look at it again.
The only thing he was a little annoyed about was the fact that the building itself was very isolated. It was smack in the middle of nowhere, in fact. Normally, no where was no trouble for someone with a ring that could make minutes out of space trips, but this no where was very cold and Sinestro wasn’t a fan of that. Even with his barrier up, it felt a little like he was still able to feel the nipping wind and freezing temperatures. Perhaps it was all in his mind. He never felt the cold of space, and that was much worse. But see a little snow and he was going to act like a big baby about it?
He needed to get over it- this was for knowledge.
Touching down, Sinestro felt a little like he was trespassing as he entered into the fortress. It was likely that he was, since he hadn’t been expecting to have company there. However, in the end, it seemed he had managed to luck out. Immediately he could hear Kara’s light, generally happy voice echoing through the space. Someone else was there, too, though off the top of his head he couldn’t place the voice. It was vaguely similar to Clark’s, but not precise enough for Sinestro to think that superman himself was there. No, it was someone else.
“Hello?” He called, if only to make himself known. Honestly, he was content to look around on his own and not speak to anyone, but it might not turn out too well if he got caught sniffing about somewhere he wasn’t really supposed to be. He didn’t want Kara to be upset with him.
So he followed the voices, coming to find Kara and her puppy, with Superboy. He should have figured- it was a kent party in the fortress of solitude. While he was many things, a Kent was not one of them.
“I apologize,” he said rather stiffly, “since you told me about this place, I wanted to see it some more. I suppose I should have waited to be invited- I did not mean to interrupt… whatever this is.”

Superboy was a bit surprised that she had knew he was following her. After thinking about it for a moment though he realized it was probably not that hard to realize that a teenager was flying behind you. And there were only a handful of people it honestly could have been. Still . . . he figured he needed to practice sneaking better. But hey . . . his main way of dealing with things was defiance, stoic silence and super strength. Part of that tripartite included smashing things into oblivion with his kryptonian super strength provided by the yellow sun. Kara gave him another one of those hugs. He had no idea why. He still didn’t understand so much about society. He had watched a show called The Big Bang Theory the other day. That Sheldon guy seemed to have the same problem. He was not taking the name Sheldon though. He didn’t know why but he didn’t like the name. He didn’t understand a lot of the stuff they said on The Big Bang Theory, but he knew a lot of the science stuff they talked about. It was implanted in him by Cadmus.
Superboy raised a skeptical eyebrow at Supergirl as she asked who Lex Luthor was. He had figured anything with a heart beat knew who Lex Luthor was. Even if they were from the new universe or, in the rare case like his own, recently cloned and created in a lab. “Lex Luthor? Genius super-villain and arch-enemy of Superman? Ruthless head and founder of lexCorp? LexCorp owns practically everything. LexCorp dominates the commerce of Metropolis from the ninety-six story L-shaped building that towers over Metropolis. It’s estimated that LexCorp either directly or indirectly employs nearly two-thirds of Metropolis’ eleven million people. The majority of Metropolis’ local businesses are wholly or at least partially owned subsidiaries of LexCorp. He uses cut-throat methods and is ruthless. He might not have powers, but with his brain alone he’s managed to remain Superman’s arch-enemy for, well, ever since there was a Superman.” Superboy explained. It was practically a textbook definition. He had even more knowledge on LexCorp and Lex Luthor, but what he said would suffice. Cadmus had implanted plenty of information on Lex Luthor and LexCorp. After all, they were aiming to create a clone of Superman. A clone of Superman would need such knowledge.
Superboy didn’t answer. He hadn’t noticed anybody following. However, he had just heard someone enter the fortress as Kara talked. He concentrated more on his super hearing and canceled out what Supergirl was saying as he did this. This could be an intruder. If it was, then it was a lot more important than whatever chit chat Supergirl was chit chatting. He tuned it out not knowing who it was and returned to his normal hearing as Supergirl finished what she was saying. Something about computers. Superboy disregarded it. They could stalk alter if she wanted to. Now there was an intruder. ”We’re not alone.” he said flatly and straight to the point as he turned around and waited for the intruder to enter. He heard the man call out and he recognized the voice. Nevertheless the man entered a moment or two later. It was the oddly colored Green Lantern from when he had helped stop a bunch of monsters and some giant woman with snakes for hair that could turn others to stone. Her name was Medusa if he recalled and the man in front of him was none other than Sinestro. He had a few tidbits about the man implanted in his head by Cadmus, but not much. Nevertheless, he was an intruder in Superboy’s eyes no matter what anyone might say. He wasn’t kryptonian and he wasn’t a super. Hell, not even Superboy had learned of the place from Superman. He had never even let on to Superman that he knew about the Fortress of Solitude. Nevertheless, whoever ordered Cadmus to create him knew about it. Which was even more of a reason to find out who had ordered him to be created. It wasn’t a good thing. It meant that a villain knew about the Fortress of Solitude or a member of the League had betrayed Superman’s trust. Whoever it was . . . Superboy was going to punch them so hard it broke their jaw. Superboy’s steely blue eyes scanned over Sinestro. This was ever the more ironic being nobody had told Superboy where it was or shown him it. He had to tail Supergirl to find out where it was.

She moved from her chair and zoomed right over to him hugging him lightly so she wouldn’t hurt him. “Dad it’s ok, I’m glad you came.” Kara smiled up at Sinestro, he was her father figure and she wanted everyone to know it. he had been there for her when no one else was, and because her real parents were gone the teen girl adopted more people as her parent figures, in hopes of creating a nice loving family. Kara also had Daisy Johnson her mother figure but she was the one parent who didn’t know where the fortress was. Kara let go of Sinestro and looked back at the angered Superboy. “SB this is Sin. And I showed him where the fortress was. It’s a long story actually and one that is quite boring so I won’t share it. Let’s just say that It was a long boring day and I brought sin out here to keep me company.” Kara smiled her lovable smile that seemed to make everyone love her.
The blonde girl was glad that Sinestro had come out to see the fortress; maybe the three of them could look around. Being Kara wasn’t too keen on being alone she never really walked the fortress she mainly stayed where she was told. “Sin, this is Superboy. He’s my brother or cousin or something along the line.” Kara didn’t really care about the whole he’s a clone thing she only cared that Superboy was alive and breathing, because that meant he was a Kent and that he was family, even if he liked it or not.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/bluemiddle.png] As Kara moved over to hug him, Sinestro didn’t fight it- he knew it was useless to tell her that he didn’t like being hugged, especially in public. She was going to do what she wanted and that was all there was to it. The fact that he wasn’t really the touchy feely type meant nothing to her. But he wasn’t bitter. Actually, he was getting used to the affection. If nothing else, it was somewhat nice to have someone who actually liked him enough to want to hug him. Soranik would never offer him that kind of real affection, and she was his actual daughter.
Blood didn’t seem to mean much anymore.
Kara was introducing them, And Sinestro chuckled. “Yes,” he remarked faintly, eyeing the boy for a moment, “this one and I have met before. I think a couple of times, in fact. But don’t worry- I won’t hold anything against him.” As he recalled, the clone kent was difficult to agree with, and a pain in the ass when it came to getting angry for no reason. The complete opposite of Kara, really.
When the introductions were out of the way, he looked back to the young girl and offered her a faint smile. “I suppose all the Kents must know about this place. I feel a bit out of place here. But I don’t really mind- this place is so interesting it’s an easy feeling to overcome.” He didn’t actually care one way or another, but he imagined it was something he needed to say to appear less like he was there to rob the place. The way Superboy was looking at him suggested not all was right with the world.
Perhaps the cranky lad didn’t like the idea of someone without super in their name being at the fortress- it wasn’t unheard of. He had to wonder how many others were actually allowed in the place.
“Do you feel like giving me a tour?” He asked Kara, “I know I’ve been here before, but we didn’t look around much and I’m kind of intrigued by the whole structure of this place. I would like to learn more about it, if I can… whatever you feel like sharing with me, of course.”
He moved his hand over one of the walls, simply observing the structure itself. It was so… different. He had to wonder about the type of stone, and if there was anything similar to it on his home world. What made it look the way it did? What else was it used for? What did other buildings look like? He had the research, but nothing beat seeing it come close and personal. Perhaps that was his old self poking through- who he had been before becoming a Green Lantern the first time around.
So long ago.

Superboy watched with an arched eyebrow as Supergirl zoomed over to Sinestro and gave him a big hug. Was she expecting Sinestro? Superboy was very skeptical about this. How many people knew about the Fortress of Solitude? How was it supposed to be solitude if so many people knew about it? Perhaps the thing that angered Superboy the most right about now was that the former leader of the Sinestro Corps knew about the location of the Fortress of Solitude before he had. Were they willing to trust everyone before him? Sure Sinestro had reformed, but why did he know before Superboy? He was a kryptonian. A clone of Superman himself. He lived in Superman's apartment!
Superboy noted that Sinestro seemed to react almost the same way he himself did whenever Supergirl hugged him. He didn't fight it, but he didn't seem to like it much. Superboy didn't know how to feel about hugs. They made him uncomfortable because he didn't understand why someone was giving him a hug in the first place. Superboy narrowed his eyes a bit. What did he mean he wouldn't hold it against him? He hadn't done anything to Sinestro. In fact, he had helped Sinestro and a few others save New York City not too long ago. Hold it against him. He felt like punching him the face or at least walking away and mumbling some not so nice things under his breathe.
Superboy was taken aback by what Supergirl told him. It didn't show of course. He stood there stoically and stalwart, his steely blue eyes still narrowly staring at Sinestro. How could she just show people the Fortress of Solitude? It wasn't some club house in her backyard! "Are you telling me that you just showed people where the Fortress of Solitude was because you were bored and it was a slow day?" Superboy said. He was clearly not pleased. With that. "Please tell me you at least cleared it with Superman first." The Fortress of Solitude was not some club house you could go around giving tours to your friends. Especially when said friends were recovering villains that could possibly turn back to their old ways. Superboy had a lot to say, but he was a man of few words most of the time. He tended to bottle everything up. Not the best plan. Eventually it had to begin seeping out.
Superboy had a feeling he was not going to be able to stop Supergirl from giving this man a tour of Superman's secret hideout. He certainly didn't feel like spending a day with Sinestro and Supergirl, especially at the same time, but this guy could try and pull something. And he knew that he would get the blunt force fo whatever blame Superman decided to administer. Supergirl was clearly the one that Superman liked more. After all, Superman usually could barely look him in the eyes and talk for more than a minute. He told Kara about the Fortress and where it was. Hell, he let her live there. He hadn't even mentioned it to Superboy. Superboy only knew about it because of implanted knowledge. And he hadn't even known where it was. He had to spy on Kara and follow her back.
Superboy felt out of place at the Fortress of Solitude too. Sure it was beautiful and magnificent and all that. But it wasn't home. It wasn't because in his eyes he was not welcome there by Superman. He hadn't felt home ever. Anywhere he went, he felt out of place. Confused. Like he didn't belong anywhere. He was a clone. A kryptonian. Neither was normal and neither was very welcomed. Not to mention he didn't understand eighty percent of what happened around him. Heck, he didn't even understand his own emotions or how he felt about things. It constantly confused and angered him. It made him feel stupid. And he hated the feeling even if he didn't recognize it for what it was.

Kara hasn’t seen Superman in months, the last time she saw him was the day he asked her to go see Superboy. Kara didn’t like how Superboy thought that Kara was Clark’s favorite, she barely new Clark. It was Sinestro who was there for her when she came to earth, he was their when no one else was. “I…I’m sorry SB but no I didn’t ask him because he hasn’t been around. I believe he is ignoring me. And I see that you don’t like Sinestro that much but he was their when no one was.”
Kara thought that out of all people SB would understand her, that he would understand why she had such a close relationship with someone. Kara looked at Sinestro and smiled. “I would love to give you both a tour of the Fortress if you like.” Kara knew that Superboy was mad and that he was probably going to leave but she couldn’t imagine spending her day with anyone else then her Father and her soon to be brother, sure Superboy didn’t know or care about being her family but she loved him and she wanted him to be her brother.
