Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Metropolis was something of a bore when the crime was under control, Lois had to admit that much. When there were no bank robberies or muggings, or super villains trying to blow the place up, then there was really nothing to write about. Well, that wasn't true. There was always a story about city hall getting repaired and re-opened for the millionth time, but how many different ways could you put that something that was doomed to get destroyed again was back on its feet? It got old. A lot of the stories felt old to the spunky reporter, really. Lately, it seemed she only wanted to report on one thing- the merging of the world with another dimension. And why not? It was the only thing anyone wanted to talk about, and it was far more important than any wars between normal humans, or any buildings getting re-built.
But even that story was eluding her writing prowess.
She say in front of her computer at the Daily Planet, staring at a blank word document as though her eyes would will the story onto the screen. Unfortunately, she didn't have a power to her name, and the screen before her remained unforgivingly blank. Like it mocked her with the prospect of something grand, keeping it just out of reach. Why couldn't she think of anything to write? She had her various leads, from boring to super, and none of them appealed enough to prompt fingers to her keyboard. She was in a rut. Maybe it was because she had been in her seat so long- it felt like she hadn't gotten out onto the streets for some real research in ages. Information about the merging of the worlds was scarce at best, and it seemed fruitless to try and sniff out some leads. Anyway, she had already exhausted her efforts trying to link the phenomenon to Lex Luthor. It seemed he did not, for once, have anything to do with the trouble.
Sighing, she pushed herself from her seat, waving a hand as she moved away from her desk. "I need some air," she informed anyone who had bothered to glance her way, before heading to the elevator and riding it down to the ground level. Slipping through the front door, the fashionable woman moved her way down the street, forgoing her obligation as a reporter for a bit of a break.
Maybe she just needed to stretch and clear the cobwebs from her head.
Heels clicking along the pavement, she moved at a sluggish pace, keeping her hands in the pockets of her jacket as she mused through her very scattered thoughts. Something to get invested in had to have been sitting within her mind somewhere. And if not, well, maybe she would find something on the streets, completely by chance.
Sometimes her luck worked in her favor- sometimes she found an exciting situation without actually being involved in it, making it something she could report on without a trip to the hospital mixed in.
Though, given her luck thus far that day, she was not feeling optimistic.

With the endless school work and the happy people to protect SG had no time to brake for anything. The young girl flew thought the town wondering where everyone was, it had seemed that Superboy was probably in his apartment staring at the food and Lor was meditating or trying to pick up a hot date and that Clark was avoiding them.
Letting a sigh escape her lips Kara passed the daily planet. The blonde girl landed on the ground about ten feet in front of the pretty reporter. Her blue costume shined in the sun, it was a golden opportunity for anyone to talk to the girl herself. Kara didn’t mind the attention from the small kids that walked up to her and asked her for a picture and autograph. She felt it was a duty of hers to make the kids feel loved.
“Supergirl are you and Superboy twins?” a young girl asked the blonde and Kara knelt down to her. “well no we aren’t twins but we are siblings no matter what he tells you.” Kara smiled and let out a small laugh as the little girl laughed as well. Soon Kara was being bombed with questions. She wasn’t sure how to answer all of them but she didn’t want to be rude either. “Supergirl, what are you doing about the number of villains showing up?” this question was confusing on Kara, and she wasn’t sure how to answer. “uh…well..um..” she got to thinking. “As new villains arise more Heroes are showing up as well, the world will always be protected as long as there is a soul who will stand up for what’s right.” Kara sounded like she was one of the smartest girls in the world. . Lois watched as a young girl landed nearby. She was probably more used to that sort of thing than she should be, considering she wasn't entirely shocked by the sight. The only thing that surprised her was that the girl was wearing a symbol on her chest that matched superman's. That was the second time that had happened in not too long a span of time. She had only recently met Superboy, who had helped her out after she had mistakenly tried to play hero. But he hadn't been the nicest kid around, and she was sure he wasn't just some relative of Superman's. They were so much more alike than that.
Hearing, or rather over-hearing, that the girl was named Supergirl only confirmed the whole connection to the man of steel. Well, at least an adoration towards him, anyway. For all she knew, this was just some crazy stalker type with super powers who wanted to be just like Superman.
Wait, hadn't she read a couple things about Supergirl?
In any case, she was happy to see that the girl didn't look evil. She was talking with the child and answering question, though from the conversation it seemed like they were both very young. The innocent answers Supergirl was offering made Lois smile. Was she just trying to say things simply for the sake of the child, or did she really believe in such happy, charming thoughts? Either way, it was pretty adorable.
"Hello," she said after a moment, "sorry, I don't mean to interrupt you and this really intense conversation, I just... had to join in." she smiled down at the little girl, before looking at Kara once more. "I'm Lois! Lois Lane, of the Daily Planet. not that I'm on the job right now." She chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck.
"Do you have time to chat? There's a couple things I want to ask you about, if you don't mind."

She did love the people of Metropolis and most of them liked her, well except a few of them but that was ok with her because she learned not everyone has to like you. “It’s nice to meet you Lois, I’m Supergirl, I would be glad to answer any questions my may have. And the daily planet that place is nice, I have flown around it a couple times.” The young blonde smiled her friendly bright smile that made anyone feel happy themselves. Soon the two were covered with more and more people, they all wanted to be in the action, it wasn’t every day a super was talking with a news paper lady, was it? Kara looked at all the people and smiled, then looked back to Lois, Kara wondered if Lois would like to go somewhere a little more quite. The blonde spoke up to the surrounding people, “Good people of Metropolis its nice to see you all” waving to them and then turning back to Lois, Kara was now floating above the sidewalk by a mere inch.
Kara was excited for Lois’ questions. It wasn’t everyday that someone was interested in asking her things but it had seemed that Kara was open to making friends and Lois didn’t seem so bad, after all she was learning this trusting some people but not trusting others thing, it was all so confusing on the girl but she would learn. “Well ask whatever you like I’m open ears.”

The young girl seemed excited to be questioned, which Lois found pretty cute. She didn't seem like she was aggressive or hiding some kind of secret evil mission, which was the impression she generally got when new heroes showed up and started imitating Superman. So maybe it wasn't any kind of imitation- maybe she really was another super power like Superman was. They seemed to have the same powers, and they both had a rather innocent air around them that was hard not to find absolutely adorable. This girl even seemed to be a little more innocent than the man in tights, which was surprising. She hadn't thought anyone could compare to his level of obliviousness. Not in a mean way, but still.
It wouldn't have surprised her if they really were related somehow.
"So, Supergirl," she hummed lightly, "where did you come from? I mean, did you just decide one day to have powers and go on a hero spree? or are you from somewhere else? The other dimension, maybe?" But then, why would she have the appearance and powers of someone from her side of the world? She needed to think before she asked things. Too bad she was just excited and everything spewed from her mouth like verbal vomit, no control or filter.
"Are you related to Superman?' She blurted, all manner of tact completely out the window. So much for being a professional reporter. When it came to the man of steel, she just couldn't control herself.
She wanted to know as much about him, and those connected to him, as possible.

I would have to say that when I got here I didn’t know what being a hero was until I met my family, then they started to teach me and I became Supergirl, its actually a long weird story full of ups and downs, but what story isn’t.” Kara smiled at the women, she was nice and very curious about Supergirl. Kara didn’t mind, she always wanted to speak with someone Clark worked with but she wasn’t going to tell the girl about superman, seeing he didn’t like the girl talking about him.
Then she brought superman up. “Yes, I am related to him, he is my baby cousin, I was sapost to be the one who raised him and protect him but I got stuck in a time thing up in space and my ship didn’t make it here until it was too late, he was already all grown up and being a hero and..” her mind trailed off to think about how Superman treated Superboy, and how he didn’t want to spend time with her ether then when lor showed up egnored him too. Kara let out a sigh. “Superman has to be one of the best heroes out there doing his best to lead three super kids. Sometimes Superboy and Night wing and I can be a hand full.” Kara knew deep down that Sinestro raised her to be the hero she was today and that he was raising Lor, but Superboy wasn’t getting any attention unless it was from kara. The blonde smiled she had to keep up Superman’s appearance, she didn’t want anyone thinking down on him. “I love my cousin Superman.”

Lois was awe-struck. She couldn't believe that this girl was legitimately related to Superman! And there were others, too! "I hadn't imagined there would be so many of you," she laughed lightly, "when superman first arrived, he was supposed to be the only one left from his home world, right?" She imagined it was all very complicated. She knew some of what had been going on with Superboy, at least, so she knew not all of them came from his home world, directly. But she hadn't thought she would actually meet someone who was really blood-related. Superboy's story seemed to be so complex, but this one... she was just a cousin! That was oddly amazing to her. So aliens had cousins, too!
It was mind-blowing, really, and she wanted to know so much more about Superman and her family. She watched Kara as she spoke, frowning slightly. Something in her tone suggested that she was just a little bit sad when she spoke about her family, and how they were a handful.
"Well, I wouldn't let that get you down," she offered warmly, trying to comfort her new friend, "I'm more than a handful to Superman! He has to save me pretty much every other week, you know." She chuckled lightly at that. It wasn't her fault she had a knack for attracting all the wrong kind of attention. Okay, maybe it was, but still.
"Who is Nightwing?" she asked, sensing a change of subject might be the best idea, "I mean, not his secret identity or anything, but are you talking about the guy from gotham? I thought he was another bat-lover. Is he a superguy too?" She hadn't thought he had any powers beyond being a good fighter, but some liked to hide their true prowess when dealing with humans. Maybe she had just been wrong.
Or she was talking about a different nightwing.

“Not all of us came from Krypton though, I’m not really sure where Nightwing came from, but his father is Zod I met him once two, I am fond of him, I’m not sure what he is or what he does but he seems like an ok person, but Superman and Nightwing tell me he’s no good so I stay away because Eve said that talking with bad people is not good.” The girl rambled on about how eve told her strange men were never a good thing to talk to and how she first met Lor. The blonde was talking and she wouldn’t shut her trap for anything. “Then their was this one time I met Hawkeye, he was cool, I broke his coffee. But I bought him some new coffee and we talked about things and he’s really short. But I like him dad is taller then anyone I know. And trust me I know a lot of people. What about you what do you do?”

Everything the young girl had to say just filled her with more questions! "Oh, I see! So it's another hero with the same name. That's gotta be awkward for them. Who's going to know which one they're talking about when they're trying to save the day?" She laughed. She was joking of course. It would probably be very easy to tell which heroic act came from the human and which one came from the super powered alien man. She chuckled at the thought of it, the conversation putting her in a good mood.
How she loved to investigate.
When the girl mentioned Zod, she frowned. "I don't know him, but if a lot of people are saying he's a bad guy, I guess it's difficult to go against their word. But you're an adult, mostly, right? So as long as you're careful, I think it's okay for you to make your own choices every now and again, too. Who knows? Maybe he is a good guy." She really had no idea. Zod definitely sounded like an alien name. If she ever met this Nightwing 2, she would have to ask him about his father. In the meantime, she wanted to know more about her family.
"So your dad is here, too? Just how many kryptonians are there running around on this planet?!" She laughed lightly. "Me? Well, I'm a reporter. Just your average, non-powered reporter working for the Daily Planet. I would have thought Superman might have mentioned me at least once! I write about him all the time!"
Not that she was going to be bitter about it.
