Appearance: Alfred is usually dressed in his butler's uniform, which is mostly blacks with a white shirt and black tie when he's around Wayne Manor, though he has been known to delve into the risque polo shirt and golf shorts every once in a while.

Personality: Alfred has a very dry sense of humor and he's not afraid to flaunt it. He comes up with quips and witty responses that may be a tad taunting but always somehow seem respectful too. He has a great love for Bruce and the various Robins and Batgirls that have graced Wayne Manor and the Batcave with their presence, and would do anything for the ones he loves. He is not afraid to speak out or stand up for what is right, or to put Bruce in his place. He is confident but humble and always helpful.

Weapons: Being the butler and caretaker of Batman, Alfred has access to many of the same weapons that Batman uses, though he chooses to simply use a double-barreled shot gun if ever the need arises. Alfred is the only one that Bruce approves of using a gun.

History:

Alfred was a member of the British Guard for a long time before retiring in favor of chasing his dreams as an actor. After a decent career in the acting business, Alfred moved on to something different. When his father, who had been in the service of the Wayne family for quite some time, passed away, Alfred took his place as head butler for the Waynes.

This has been an incredibly long career for the butler, who watched Bruce Wayne grow up and became his caretaker after the tragic death of his parents. He came to love all of the Waynes, but especially Bruce, and thinks of him more as family rather than a friend. When Bruce disappeared for years in Asia, Alfred feared that he would never come back.

But ever the loyal man, he remained at Wayne Manor. He kept Bruce's life in order and helped oversee some of the happenings at Wayne Enterprises until Bruce showed up once more. But the young master did not come back without a purpose and once the idea of Batman was proposed to Alfred, the old butler became partners with the Dark Knight.

Alfred helped Bruce build the Batcave and does an excellent job at running the manor when Bruce is away. He still takes care of Bruce, often being the only influence on Bruce's diet and medical care, and has done the same for all of the Bat Family.
