Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Kneel before Doom! -General Zod-

Post by Deleted on May 13, 2013 20:24:09 GMT -5
Victor Von Doom wasn’t a man of failure. He wanted to rule the Earth, just like he ruled Latveria. After his success in ruling the planet, he wanted to venture into space, where he would try ruling the galaxy. Doom believed he was the most powerful being in the entire universe, and believed that his intellect surpassed everyone’s. His high ambitions for power made him a very dangerous human-being. He manipulated the dark arts, only to cause havoc upon people who refused to bow to their ruler. Those who rebelled against his hierarchy would’ve certainly suffered a most painful death.
Doom glided through the sky in an attempt to find the secluded place for his new base of operations. He had multiple facilities within Latveria, but none in the United States. If his dreams were ever going to come true, then the United States needed to be hit first. The coup attempt wasn’t going to be easy, because of all the heroes that resided within the country. Doom wanted to create an army of Doombots, which were robotic androids that were controlled by virtual intelligent chips, manipulated by his mind. Artificial Intelligent chips could’ve been created easily, but Doom was wary of their loyalties. AI’s were known to have gone rogue and disband their leadership, so they weren’t an option.
Doom hovered low through Slaughter Swamp. He knew the swamp housed a base for the villains, from hacking into Viral’s database. Its trigger mechanism was conducted through a small remote, but it would’ve been controlled with a few tricks up his sleeve. The doctor finally located the base while tracking the coordinates. He landed in front of the swamp, and held out his hands, with his palms downwards over the swampy water. A yellow light illuminated the entire bank, causing the water to bubble as if it were boiling. The base had slowly risen from the swamp, making his eyes widen through the slits of his titanium mask. The base was a perfect place for his studies, and creations.

"Come to me, son of Jor-El! Kneel before Zod!"

Post by General Zod on May 14, 2013 11:19:28 GMT -5
Though the general wasn't an official member of the Legion of Doom, he occasionally utilised their base of operations to plan or gather reinforcements. He was glad that the Hall of Doom had an access gate to the Phantom Zone, with which he could communicate with his disciples. His hidden army were growing restless. If only he had the necessary keystone, he could open the gates, and his armies would swarm the planet. The last known keystone was sealed in Kal-El's fortress, however. He had seen it when he had last conversed with the son of Jor-El. The fortress was heavily protected. There were defenses around that structure that could even keep out Kryptonians.
Nonetheless, he was a practical man. A good general knew how to use the tools presented to him to their advantage, and Zod had been supplied with mighty tools. The humans, in their vanity and self-love, had constructed what could be considered the antithesis to the fortress. Full of dark sciences and the foulest of black magics. Zod almost felt at home here. If it didn't have that human aesthetic to it, he might even consider moving in permanently. Who was to tell him otherwise? There were no human settlements for miles around. Besides, it wasn't as if people would be actively looking for...
Something was wrong. He could feel the base rising up. He had underestimated the humans and their ability to look for things. Perhaps they weren't so useless after all. As the base rose above the water, Zod made his way to the entrance ramp, which would most likely be where the humans would enter. Let them come. As if they could stand against him. As the ramp descended, he walked out to greet his captors...or rather, captor. How vain the humans were to send one being after him. It was almost insulting.
"You are intruding." he said, as he slowly approached his would-be adversary. "No-one is supposed to know of this place. Then again...you seem like someone who could put this hall to use."

If you would've seen the smirk upon Doom's face as he witnessed the base come to life. He was ecstatic at the site of his new place of work, making him want to begin the production phase immediately. Doom's resources were very low at the present, but he was still trying to figure out the location of the top-secret Vibranium mine that the United States were hiding. The hacking would've taken a good week before he could grasp a location, but right now called for celebration at the uprising of the Hall of Doom. Hall of Doom. He loved the sound of it, and decided to keep the name. The doombots weren't to be delayed, and would've expected production within the next couple weeks. The mass production of the androids, would've consisted of tons of Vibranium, but the cache supply was supposedly unlimited at the unknown mine.
Doom held out his hands, wanting to jump for joy. Viral proved to be helpful, but would've felt the full wrath of the Doctor Doom if the mutant assumed ownership of the place, if he were present. The base was called Hall of Doom for a reason, making the doctor think it was solely his. Before he could place a hand upon the sealed door of the base, he immediately heeded the sound from behind him. The Latverian Doctor swiftly turned around to see who it was, and spotted an unfamiliar figure. Doom clenched his fists, knowing very well that this nosey bastard had it coming. "You are intruding... No-one is supposed to know of this place. Then again...you seem like someone who could put this hall to use." Doom glared at the man from under his mask, wanting to silence him. He never answered to anybody, but himself. "How dare you speak down to the great Victor Von Doom" he spat.
Doctor Doom's glare could be seen through the slits of his mask, letting Zod know exactly how he felt. If this man were smart, then he'd know his place and bow low before Doom. "My plans of the Hall are none of your concern, now zoom off like the pestering fly YOU ARE!" Doom roared as he aimed both hands at the man and released a large bluish beam of energy from both palm sockets. The large and combined mystical blast whizzed directly towards Zod's location hoping to conjure death. He wanted to test the man before him, only to see what kind of powers that would grasp his attention.

The "great" Victor Von Doom? Zod suppressed an urge to laugh. There were no great humans. This one's ego was far too big to be allowed to continue on existing. He said it with such authority, as well. Perhaps he was a general as well. And he was even glaring at him. How insulting! Did he not know who he was? Not that he would be surprised. Humans were notoriously ignorant, especially to things that were right before their eyes. Did this one...Doom, was it? Did he know what he was not threatening anyone? He had been threatened many times by many humans. The lucky ones found themselves devoid of a spine.
Was this man attacking him? The sheer nerve of him, to think he could match Zod. Yet, he had power. So what if he stood apart from the rest of the humans? He was still human, and should be subservient to him. Or eliminated. Either one works.
"If you insist." Zod sneered, waiting patiently for the energy blasts to get closer. When they were within a few inches of hitting him, he kicked in the super-speed. They stopped for him. Everything stopped for him. Zod took a step to the side and ran at Doom. The moment he got up close to him, he turned off super-speed and lifted Doom up by the scruff of his cloak.
"You dare defy me?" Zod hissed menacingly. "You are nothing. I am Zod, general of the Sunstone Armada, High Commander of the Kandorian Militia and Third Representative of the Kryptonian Military Guild! You will tell me your plan for this hall. Then you will kneel."

Doom wasn’t going to let this man try and ruin the plans he had for his new place of operations. Over his dead body, and maybe a few others who would’ve been caught in the middle. Doctor Victor Von Doom wasn’t a man of failure Whoever this was, Doom believed he had an idea. It had to have been one of Viral’s minions, who happened to be scouting the grounds. Doom knew the coup attempt was way too easy. Viral was not a man who lost his wits overnight, but if his mere bitch wanted a fight then Doom was always one to strike first, and ask questions later.
As the beams were released from the sockets upon the palms of his hands, they swiftly zoomed over to Zod’s location. The man was very swift in his evasive maneuvers, making Doom lose sight of him. Before he could even release another blast to ensure the man’s death, he was quickly snatched by the scruff of his cloak, and held in midair. Doom’s eyes widened with shock, knowing very well that this wasn’t one of Viral’s henchman, but another strong foe. Zod was very powerful to have committed such an act on Doom, by lifting him in the air like he was nothing. His first instinct was to release more mystic blasts upon his face, while being held, but right now he was more interested in the power Zod had to offer. He listened to Zod’s words, continuing with his shocking facial expression.
This wasn’t an Earthly being, but a powerful Kryptonian! “UNHAND ME!” yelled Doom as he quickly emitted a mystical barrier in between him and Zod. The grip was quickly released from his scruff, placing a well protected pink barrier over himself. He didn’t know whether the Kyrptonian was able to destroy the barrier with a mere punch, but right now he was before a powerful being which would’ve been no surprise. His failure at the Expo, of retrieving the Superman as a test subject came down to utter failure. Zod would've been his next choice, to figure out the ways of the Krypton’s powers.
“I will not kneel before the likes of you! Though, I believe we would make a powerful partnership. We have the ability to conquer this planet, and the entire universe with your cooperation” Doom spoke proudly as he folded his arms. Getting General Zod on his side would’ve been a coup for his plans he had for planet Earth. There were rumors that a powerful Titan named Thanos was making his way towards their planet. This would’ve grabbed the attention of all of Earth’s heroes, and would’ve possibly led to everyone’s downfall. Doom would’ve been there to hit the heroes when they were most vulnerable. The Lanterns, the Justice League, the Avengers, the X-men and even the Fantastic Four, would meet their demise if they prevailed against Thanos. The mere thought of the godly Thor bowing before him, made his stomach turn in a good way. Dominique Falcone would stand alongside his throne, while she watched Loki perish in a dark abyss. She would become his dame. The other underground foes such as Bane, Joker, Scarecrow, and Black Mask would all become his henchmen.
Doom quickly snapped out of his thrilling thoughts, and removed the barrier from around him. “I will not kneel before you as I said before, but our enemies shall kneel and bow before us!” he spoke as he rose a hand continuing with his proud sentiment. “How will you accept my proposition?” he asked as he held out a metaled hand.

Zod reeled back as Doom cast the barrier between them, letting go of his adversary. So this was the force the humans called "magic"? Interesting. It was an unusual entity, and it appeared that it could affect him. He would need to be very wary around Doom, then. If he ever got the upper hand, Zod would be a dead man. A good general knows his opponent's strengths and weaknesses. It would be very interesting to find out the upper limits of Doom's power for himself, and maybe aquire some for himself. Then he would be unstoppable, even by the son of Jor-El, who must, logically, share this weakness.
"You will kneel." He snarled. "All will kneel before Zod." Still, he hadn't expected this. The human, once so proud, was now offering him an alliance. The idea was preposterous, of course. Why would he align himself with a being that would detract from his view of the perfect New Krypton. Still, this one had magic, and could most likely harm him if he wanted to. So be it. He would play along for now. Besides, there was no reason he could not kill him after they had accomplished their goals.
"We have an accord." Zod said, merely staring at his outstretched hand. What did he want done with it? Wait, Kal-El had showed him a method of Earth greeting. Zod copied Doom's movement and clasped the metal hand in his own. "But be warned, if you even think of betraying me, I will bring down the fury of mighty Rao himself on your house. Just as I will the House of El."

Doom wasn't fazed by the Kryptonian's presence, though he made the situation much more interesting. He wanted to know the ins and outs of the Kryptonians. The doctor needed weaknesses, things they liked to eat, names, and lots more. Having an alliance with General Zod was a coup in his plans, but Doom would've slept with an eye open. He was the master of backstabbing, so he knew what to expect if the alien were to try anything.
Victor Von Doom immediately shook his head at General Zod's words, knowing very well that he would die before he bowed to the likes of an extraterrestrial. Earth was under his own hand, and every single outsider would've bowed low sooner or later. "Like I said before Kryptonian, I do not bow to anyone... Especially an extraterrestrial" he spoke with a glare. Doom continued to fold his arms not caring whether this man were to become offended. His ambitious pursuit for power and authority, made him very dangerous and almost crazy. Nobody was to ruin his chances of ruling the entire universe, not even the almighty Superman. Superman would've met his demise, after his powers were absorbed from his body, and enshrouded upon himself. With the powers of a Kryptonian, Doom would most definitely have no problem in taking over the world.
Victor nodded his head at Zod, as he agreed on the proposition. a glow of excitement lit the insides of his stomach, as he felt the being's firm handshake. This General Zod was tough, and was definitely somebody that would've proved to have been a worthy ally. He sneered at the his warning, or hidden threat. The empty threat once again failed to instill fear in Victor Von Doom. He wasn't a man to cower from threats, but actions were another story. Victor would've used General Zod until the end, where there would be only one king. He would've prepared for world domination, but also work on finding ways to manipulate General Zod's powers. "Your empty threats are noted, but if you try to cross 'ME' then you will face the full fury of Victor Von Doom, soon to be Lord Victor Von Doom" he spoke with a wide smirk.
The door to the Hall of Doom slid open quickly, revealing nothing but darkness. The facility looked large, and would've proven to have been a great place for his work. "Here I shall begin the first phase of world domination" he spoke with a wide grin as he conjured a ball of light within the palm of his hand. Doom walked slowly through the dark room, and continued to smile. If Viral were to return, then he would've faced the full powers of General Zod and Doctor Doom.

Zod smirked at Doom's so-called threats. There was no way in the seven suns of Warvan he would allow a pathetic human to lay a hand on him, even one so apparently powerful as Doom. There was nothing to fear, however, should Doom attempt to cross him, Zod would bring down the full fury of his army. That is, unless Doom outlived his usefullness first. On Krypton, he had made many alliances, and then betrayed them. They Without House called it the five stages of an accord with the House of Zod: confirmation, co-operation, the sharing of resources, favours, and cutting loose. Just as sure as Krypton's remains could hurt him, Zod would cut Doom loose once the metal man had outlived his usefulness.
"There is a matter I could use your help with, before WE begin to subjugate this planet." Zod put a lot of emphasis on "we". He had to remind Doctor Doom that he was part of this alliance too. They would conquer this world together, or not at all. In actuality, Zod didn't need Doom to conquer the world. Just his army, which was a matter he thought Doom could aid him with.
"In the furthest corner of this hall lies a gateway to another dimension called the Phantom Zone." Zod explained. "I can communicate with my army throught it, but it must be opened to allow them through to Earth. The last known key, unfortunately, is in a place beyond even my reach. I require your...assistance in retrieving the key, and then my forces will aid us in dominating the planet."
