And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair:
Short back and sizes, flat top style hair – the sides and back have greyed over
the years while the top has blacked out.
Eyes:
Blue
Height:
5’11
Weight:
210lbs
Distinguishing
Marks: That amazingly glorious moustache, bushy and black, running
under his nose.
Appearance:
Although an
older man, Jonah carries himself with gusto. A strong posture, a straight back,
fairly broad shoulders and a decent physique – he often wears refined,
expensive suits; a particular fondness for waistcoats, suspenders and ties.
When his jacket is off, Jonah usually has his sleeves rolled up to just under
the elbow – vertical stripes a must when it comes to JJJ.
Jonah looks
refined and incredibly well groomed; a clean shave, except for his neat, probably
trimmed heard, a constant haircut, clearly given a regular upkeeping, and
decent enough physique to say he takes care of himself, Jameson appears to be a
man in very good health.

Personality:
It’s a
strange life JJJ leads – he’s not a bad man, in truth, but he’s firm, stubborn,
and very set in his way. He can come across as a ranting, obsessed tyrant at
times, but he can also be very, very gentle, and is extremely loyal to those he
cares about and those who works for him. He believes in upholding the greater
good and trying to preserve society – Jameson isn’t against superheroes, but
his history causes him to believe that they aren’t all that they seem.
He can be
very grumpy, and rants fairly consistently. He’s loud, emotional and somewhat
flamboyant. Jonah is very over exaggerated as a person. He has a tendency to
say what he’s thinking, very loudly, at any given time, often prompting
correction from colleagues. Though he can be inappropriate, Jonah does
appreciate that people try to keep him from saying or doing things that might
get him in trouble.
Extremely
proud of his son, Jonah is very much a family man – he believes in the family
unit and cares dearly about those close to him; they are his pride and joy
outside of work. He has a very solid moral compass – Jonah despises the
printing of false news, stories or images, feeling that they only serve to
hinder the integrity of a newspaper. This is somewhat contrasted by his
printing of slanderous, accusing articles against Spiderman, however he is
always forced to print a retraction.

Powers:
None, Jonah is just your average man.
Weapons
Though not a physical weapon itself, Jonah runs the Daily Bugle, giving him a
means of entirely decimating someone’s public image, so long as he has the
right proof.
Strengths/Abilities:
Leadership:
Jonah has been the chief editor, and owner, of the Daily Bugle. He knows how to
run a tight ship, and a successful business. He sticks by the people he works
with, and is usually a good judge of character.
Hard
Worker: Jonah began as nothing but a low level reporter. Through hard work and
determination, he climbed his way up the ranks to become the Bugle’s chief in
editor. Once he had reached these heights, he purchased the newspaper to become
owner. Jonah has a major drive and will push for any story if he believes there’s
a founding basis.
Influential: Jonah has a strong public image, despite his various flaws. He’s
charismatic, and people tend to follow him when he speaks. He has a strong pull
with the people of NYC, and can amass a fairly substantial following on most
things, besides Spiderman’s villainy.
Boxing: When he was younger, Jonah trained in boxing, which
allowed him to fight off bullies.
Weaknesses:
Stubborn:
When he thinks he’s right, he knows he’s right, and Jonah won’t budge. It has
caused him a lot of problems in the past, and probably will continue to do so
in the future.
Easily
Offended: Jonah takes a lot of things personally – rather than seeing the
bigger picture, he’s been known to see events as “people laughing at him”.
Obsessed: A weakness as much a strength, JJJ’s fixation on Spiderman has cost
him personally over the years. From a kick to his reputation, to constantly
having to publish retractions, while he will see a good cause through to the
end, he’ll see a bad one even further.

time guys, we should just

this place outta Lego."
Born to David and Jameson, James was raised by his military
father – a wife and child beater, who would regularly beat both his wife and
son. From this experience as he grew up, James began to believe that heroes
could be and were evil, and that despite their good deeds, they wouldn’t remain
such forever.
When in highschool, the young Jameson became active in
photography and boxing. Being harassed by bullies, Jonah was able to fight back
and fend them off. After joining the photography class, he met Joan – the two
instantly sparked, and once Jonah had fought off his bullies, Joan was
impressed. The pair began to date, and married shortly after leaving
highschool.
Jameson’s first job came at the Daily Bugle as a coffee boy when
he was 16, and then a reporter when he was 18. Having worked hard, Jameson was
sent to Vietnam to report on the war in the final years – giving him firsthand
experience and viewing of the horrors war brought. Jonah returned a year into
the war, and had a son with his wife. Seeing him born, Jonah was then sent back
out to cover the end of Vietnam.
When Jonah returned, he learned his wife was killed by a masked
mugger. Distraught and outraged, he began to work harder than he ever had in
his life, climbing the ranks quickly in the Bugle, before becoming the chief
editor.
When Spiderman appeared on the scene, Jonah was convinced that
all masked men and heroes had something to hide, and really were more evil than
they would ever admit to. For that reason, he was determined to bring vigilante’s
to justice, for the good of mankind, saving them from people who tried to “operate
outside of the law”.
