Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

I need someone to show me the things in life that I can't find I can't see the things that make true happiness, I must be blind [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: B8B8B8; border: #550505 solid 4px; width: 400px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] It wasn't every day that Nick Fury called in favors from the Man of Iron. Actually... yeah, it was pretty much every day. But it wasn't every day that Tony Stark actually agreed to help out. He wasn't S.H.I.E.L.D.'s private weapons supplier after all.
But this time Stark decided he would help Eyepatch out. It wasn't for weapons. It was for a plane... or something like that.
As his sleek black sports car pulled up to the building, and the door was opened for him, Tony Stark, hitting buttons on his phone and grinning behind a pair of expensive-looking sunglasses slipped out of the vehicle, telling Happy to let him know when the truck arrived with some of his tech, and strolled up to the gates of building.
After being cleared at security- it only took one look at the millionaire's face to get that clearance- he strolled on through the gates and down the long drive to the hangar around back. He was here to see some Zinda character. At least, that's what Pepper had told him... after he'd already missed two of their previously-scheduled meetings.
He removed his sunglasses and shoved a hand into his slacks pocket as he strolled up to the open hangar doors."There a Zinda person in here?" He called out.

They were the best of times, they were the worst of times. Sure, Lady Blackhawk was pumped up beyond words at the notion she was part of a team and their she and her vast mojo of weaponry and aviation tactics could somehow make a difference again. The birds were like family. They were all sisters and always would be but it was time to move on. She had other duties that had come calling and she missed being a government employee so here she was: recent employee of Shield and brand spankin' new member of the Avengers. Well alright, not exactly spankin' new. Very recently she'd already stood back to back with some of the Avengers against a formidable squad of goons in their own right that called themselves the Sinister Twelve.
The bitch of it all was that practically every vehicle she owned was in dire need of an overhaul in some way or fashion. Her limousine needed new shocks, brakes and a major tune-up. Her helicopter was coughing and sputtering worse than an old man on a 2 pack a day nicotine habit and also needed some welding work done. The real kicker? Her new boss, Mr. Nicholas Fury himself, contacted her not too many days ago to inform her he'd be sending someone to accompany her to the airport to...how did he put it? Trick her plane. Whatever the hell that meant Zinda could only wonder. Ah the modern generation and there whacky slang terms.
Still, even on her worst day Zinda Blake could still do more before 9 A.M. than most people do all day. And she would have this morning too if fate hadn't bestowed upon her the rare privilege of sleeping in. She was still up, showered and in the hangar/garage by 8:15 A.M. It was now closing in on 11 A.M. Zinda was clad in faded pair of jeans that had seen better days and a tank top, both made suitable work clothes under the circumstances. The chopper's welding work had been completed and the engine was humming like a song. Now she was working off a board with wheels underneath her limousine.
A bin of tools to her left, an ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon to her right, flashlight giving her a better view of the scenario as she went about her business, and in the background were the Andrew Sisters harmonizing her all-time favorite tune. All that was left to see if she schmuck Nick Fury was sending would actually show up today after already having missed two previous meetings. In all honesty Zinda had no idea who was coming, all she knew was whoever it was had gotten under her skin by missing previous appointments and she had to juggle her schedule because of it. Nothing she hadn't grown accustomed to in the past however. She still bled Red White and Blue and was Military clear through.
"Under here, sonny boy." She exclaimed, still about the business of putting her wheels back in apple pie order and still unaware that her guest was none other than Tony Stark himself or else she would have spasmed right then and there and would certainly have looked more...presentable.. "Zinda Blake at your service. Something I can do for you? Would you mind handing me the crescent wrench out of my tool box by the by? Thank you kindly."

Sonny Boy? By the by? Thank you kindly? Did Tony just step back into the forties or something?
He looked around, just to make sure he hadn't actually time-traveled (or gotten so drunk he thought he had, that was never fun), and with a puzzled expression still on his face, he sauntered over to the tool box. "Working on a limo, huh? Nice one. The shocks botherin' ya? Probably need an 8-to-10 inch double-ended knucklebuster then, hm?" He knelt down, rolling up his suit jacket sleeves, and fished around in the tool box for what he was looking for.
"So you're the person I need to meet with, I guess," Tony said as he handed her the wrench. This was awkward. He wasn't used to talking to someone else under a car. Usually, he was the person under the car. "The name's Tony Stark. Fury sent me over to take a look at your birds and tech 'em up."

Damned if the stranger that seemed to have a hankering for being a know it all wasn't right. Of course as the blond throwback furrowed her brow and pursed her lips beneath the limousine and peered through the light to the heart of the problem she still had no idea who her mystery caller was. "You betcha , that's the one. Good answer."" She admitted, impressed at how well this man knew his way around a tool box. Maybe, just maybe, this day of vehicular overhauls might go better than she expected.
Her right arm extended to it's limits now, hand showing from underneath the car as she waited to receive the tool, piercing blue eyes never wavering from the task at hand. At least not until she head the magic words fall from his mouth, which brought her movements and her work to a screeching halt. The next screech to be heard in fact was the slight one made by the wheels of the board she lay on when it came whizzing out from underneath the limousine.
"I swear, as I live and breathe," She grabbed a rag and wiped the grease from her hands before one of them reached to the back of her head and sheepishly rubbed while the other then extended and offered to shake the man's hand. "I had no idea it was you. Gotta say nothing I have heard about you so far does you justice. It's a pleasure to meet you. Sorry for my shabby looking state, we can take off whenever you're ready. I can finish this baby later."

Tony smiled and shook hands with the woman while he gave her a once-over. She looked like she fit in with this century, but she had such an old way of speaking. It kind of reminded him of the Cap.
Maybe she was just a huge fan of Rogers?
Tony didn't dwell on the thought, because now she was looking to him to decide what they should do next.
Tony glanced back at her limousine and shrugged. "I'm in no hurry." He didn't know how many more meetings he had today, but he also didn't particularly care. "How about we take a trip out to see your birds and when we're done there, if you like the upgrades, I can pimp your ride here? I don't mind." If it would keep Fury and Pepper out of his hair for longer, Tony was willing to waste time doing anything. Not to mention he was always a fan of working on sweet-looking cars. Although he had robots that could do the work for him, and even upgrades he could install that would be self-repairing, Tony preferred to work on his cars the old-fashioned way.
Maybe he and Zinda had something in common, then.
[[Feel free to auto-hit us to Zinda's planes and such, I dunno where they are. <3]]
