Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

The school was quite after recent events and many students had gone home to find out what changes may have occurred in their own neck of the woods. Julian however had stayed behind the X-Men where his family now and that was all he cared about. Walking out onto the lawn he flexed his left shoulder adjusting the metal prosthesis telekinetically so it wouldn’t pull on his neck. Of course he had just been getting use to the new arm when the world decided to go all flippy floppy and turn everything upside down.
Having studied the Professors files on the “New World” and the super beings that had crossed over …or was it combined he never really understood exactly what had happened. Anyway He did notice that the Humans for this alternate world seemed to actually not automatically hate and fear mutants. The seemed to treat all their hero’s as equals weather they where aliens, accident’s, or even born with the powers they had. He had read over the files on the “Justice League” and the “Teen Titans” and that was just scratching the surface. He had also heard of new Cities popping up Like Metropolis in Kansas and a small town known as Smallville, followed by a place called Gotham City which seemed to be worse the New York.
Everything was changing and so was everyone else with new threats looming on the Horizons Julian knew one thing he wanted to be ready and he would protect his family from anyone. Deciding some fresh air would be helpful Julian lifted off the ground taking off from Xavier’s and wondering just who and what would be out there.

Starhawk ~ AletaAleta felt the wind in her hair and for a second closed her eyes. It was good to be out of the muggy air near the coast. Though when she first had come to Earth she had been bound and determined never to again, Aleta had found that she was suiting up more lately. The young blonde didn't really know why; though she supposed that it was the recent turn of events. She had been living on this blessed planet for two years now and never had anything rocked her this bad. Actually, the last time she remembered being this uneasy was the two months following the death of her children. This sudden thing had thrown everyone's world out of whack. Everything had just changed, there was no other way to describe it. The Red Cross was getting frantic calls to come to places they had never even heard of before, and they had no idea what to do. Aleta, in almost desperation, had revealed to the higher-ups her true identity and volunteered to be a scout, to find the places that people were at that needed help. Much to her surprise they had let her work as Starhawk and even insisted on paying her. Of course she had respectfully declined the latter. Aleta was just happy to serve. That was the one thing that she didn't regret picking up from Starhawk- a willingness and ability to help those less lucky.
This time she was heading home from some little town that had gotten hit by a hurricane. Flying over upstate New York, out of the corner of her eye Aleta spotted another floating object- or person. It was certainly acting like a person. Quickly turning her course, Aleta cautiously approached the superpowered individual (She was sure about it now). It appeared he had just left from the ground, and was deep in thought as well. Aleta decided to approach, which she did, and called a hello. If he was hostile, she could just defend herself or something.

Julian loved flying and of course was lost deep in though so he did not even see the woman who cautiously approached him. You would think however that he would realize he was never truly alone in the sky considering how many superhero’s could actually fly. The “Hello” she called out brought him quickly out of his own thoughts and he stopped floating looking for the first time at the woman before him. Her blonde hair floated in the air ruffled by the wind and she seemed to be standing on two solid light like disks. He cleared his throat and left his arms lax at his side showing he was not dangerous.
“Hello to you too.” He watched to see how she would react to him before continuing.
“My name is Julian but most people call me Hellion.” The half grin he usually had plastered to his face appeared given him a boyish look. He closed the distance approaching slowly.

Starhawk ~ AletaAleta couldn't help but smile more as it became obvious that she had found a fellow superhero. Noting even more carefully him in general, she guessed this newcomer's age to be about twenty. However she wasn't sure- he could be a bit older. The boyish grin on his face made it a bit harder to tell. Short, black hair and loose-fitting clothes all gave away that this was a man who was comfortable in his own skin. By his lack of uniform she guessed too that he didn't like them as much as other heroes did. Aleta could see where that came from. She wasn't fond of this revealing costume herself. But this was the one that appeared when the Hawk god had first transformed Aleta and her husband into Starhawk, and it was what she had to deal with. Right now his eyes were green, she suspected that like hers when he wasn't indued with his power, they were a different color. Though he had a bit of a cocky, uptight look going Aleta could see right through that cover. All in all, someone who was proud of who he was and probably a very interesting person to talk to. "Julian. That's a nice name. Of course, Hellion is too. I'm Aleta. But everyone knows me as Starhawk when I'm out saving the world." She chuckled a little. Not trying to rush things too fast, she let him come to her, stopping where she was.

With everything that had happened lately and all the changes Julian and learned quickly to trust his instincts about people. He had tried toning down the cocky attitude he had but knew you could still hear it in his voice and had recently started to forgo his normal uniform in place of just feeling comfortable. As he approached the woman who had said her name was Aleta the waves of power and something otherworldly rolled off of her. Julian’s senses kicked into high gear then as he realized that she was not a mutant or anything else he ever really meet. As he stopped fairly close to the young looking he couldn’t help but stifle a laugh when she let out a very girlish little chuckle.
Feeling at easy for the first time that day Julian really looked her over. The costume she wore which was very low cut with a split v almost to her waist looked like it was almost a living breathing part of her. She had soft eyes and a cute pouty smile that could melt even Bobby when he was iced up. Taking the lead Julian decided to see what Aleta might know about what was happening around the world.
“Well Aleta it’s a pleasure to meet you, and I have to ask where you part of the other world the one with the Justice League?” Julian felt a little silly asking but he wanted to know so they could share information.
“Me I am a member of the X-Men a mutant and I have no idea what’s going on but from what I have heard from the news it seems things are not settling very well.” Julian’s face darkened a little with concern as he thought of all the natural disaster had been occurring around the world almost as if the earth was having a seizure.

Starhawk ~ AletaJustice League? Other world? Aleta had absolutely no idea what Hellion was talking about. However, she felt that he was right. It made perfect sense, the time continuindum somehow fusing two lines. Now that she thought about it she wondered why she hadn't before. Her next thought was Doctor Strange. She'd befriended him in Africa once; maybe she'd drop by for a visit sometime. But in the meantime, Aleta gave Hellion a quizzical look and replied slowly, "Wow. You obviously know a lot more about this than I do. No, I've never heard of the Justice League, so I'm probably from your world, or universe." The name he gave, X-men, rang a bell. Maybe she had just heard the name around or while hanging out in the Avengers mansion. They were friends, as she recalled, so that was another reason to relax more. "I'm mostly a loner, but I do join my friends in the Avengers or the Guardians of the Galaxy from time to time." Aleta also recognized and acknowledged that he was a mutant. She had encountered several of those in her travels, and her tenure as Starhawk. They were always magnificent beings, rivalling herself in power and cunning. "I agree with you in the fact that the world isn't settling well, and natural disasters are happening all over the place. I just got back helping with a Hurricane by the Gulf. No planet would settle well in something like this. Not even Arcturus, my home. As to the reason why this is happening, I don't have any more of a clue than you do. But I am one hundred percent sure that the reason isn't native to Earth. It's a cosmic power. I've been trying to get to the source, but I can't." Something tickled at the back of Aleta's brain when she mentioned that it was a cosmic power. A memory, maybe, or a inkling of knowing what it was? But she couldn't put her finger on it. Until someone else let her know about the whole reason why this had happened, or she discovered it herself, Aleta would have to go without knowing.

The confused look on Aleta’s face said anything before she spoke and he knew she wasn’t from the Otherworld, of course his world had thousands of hero’s not counting the ones not from his planet so of course she could be from his own earth. As this thought crossed his mind Aleta voiced the thought confirm his suspicions.
"Wow. You obviously know a lot more about this than I do. No, I've never heard of the Justice League, so I'm probably from your world, or universe." (Quote Aleta)
Smiling Julian shook his head. “Actually that would be the Professors doing. He is the world’s strongest telepath so he is able to gather information quickly. Thankfully he was able to get some information about what is going on but we are still in the dark about so much.” Concern etched Julian’s face at the thought of the new dangers they all faced.
"I'm mostly a loner, but I do join my friends in the Avengers or the Guardians of the Galaxy from time to time." (Quote Aleta)
That made sense it seemed most loners at some point worked with the Avengers of course he had never heard of the Guardians of the Galaxy but then again the obviously had never heard of the X-Men. He understood the universe was a vast space and in reality the earth was just a spec floating in the massive ocean. Aleta’s next words really and truly concerned Julian to his core.
" I agree with you in the fact that the world isn't settling well, and natural disasters are happening all over the place. I've been trying to get to the source, but I can't." (Quote Aleta)
Julian’s mind raced at the thought of what could cause this. He had heard stories from the older X-Men about other universes and great powers that could shuffle them like a deck of cards. Of course this was the first time something of this scale had happened throwing two complete universes into one space. As he thought about it he couldn’t help but look into the large soft eyes of Aleta.
“Honestly I think it’s going to take a lot of great minds to figure things out I understand the Professor, is meeting with SHIELD and others to try and figure things out. Right now I am at a loss for what to do but I hate sitting around twittaling my thumbs.”
Sitting still was not something Julian had ever liked and with things happening now and the mass confusion he was at a true loss for the first time. Looking to Aleta he hoped that together they could figure something out.

Starhawk ~ AletaWhoever this Professor was, he had to be a brilliant man. This, at least, was one thing that Aleta knew, as well as what she said next: "I don't think that anyone completely knows what's happening right now." Compared to some of the other situations that she had faced while not on Earth this one was simply a hiccup, a non-important matter that usually didn't draw much attention. As Starhawk, Stakar would have probably just bypassed the situation. But Aleta, being a weaker female, was losing sleep and peace of mind over this puzzlement. She had gone up before Galaxus before, for Heaven's sake. The conqueror of worlds. He was scary. Even then she wasn't half as concerned about anything as she was now. Maybe it was because she had been living among the humans for so long that this was more important to her. Whatever was going on in Aleta's thought train now, was throwing her for a gigantic loop. Forcing herself back into the conversation with Hellion, Aleta chided herself for not paying nore attention. "Your professor and some others, meeting with SHIELD? That's good. Maybe we'll have a little more world order after that one is done." Aleta nodded curtly at Julian's statement about not wanting to just sit around. "I'm not one to just stand back while everything I love and still live for is falling apart. I was a Red Cross worker before, but lately I have found myself trying to do more. Crazy as it seems, I revealed to them my superhero identity, and they seemed to want my help." All at once, from th very look in his eyes, she knew that he wanted to come and try to work something out. "I was going to go do some sleuthing tonight, if you want to come and help."

Julian smiled at Aleta feeling a kinda of kindred spirit with her. Here was a woman after his own heart not ready to just sit by and wait, so now they had to decide what to do.
"Maybe we need to see if we can gather a few more people to help. I know a few of the older students who would be very helpful." Julian again smiled at Aleta thinking for now they had something to do and a direction to follow. Offering his hand to Aleta Julian lead her back to Xavier's landing in the open ground before the massive main building.
"This is Xavier's school for Gifted Youngsters, and the base for the X-Men we will need to have the professor give you clearance for the lower levels but for now we can head into the school and at least find some others to join us."
Julian walked toward the building standing close to Aleta he pointed out a few of the buildings to her giving her the lay of the land.
"Xavier's school offers High School and college course usually taught by senior members of the X-Men though we also employee a few humans as well. We have dorms for girls and boys under 18 and then we have separate dorm for the college age students. We also have stables and a boat house."
Julian loved showing off the school he called home and as he walked around his mind was also thinking of the students he could talk to about helping him and Aleta.

Starhawk ~ AletaOthers were exactly what they needed right now. Aleta was going to say something but then Julian, Hellion offered her a look around his school. He offered his hand, and took it gratefully.
The campus was beautiful and homey, definitely, and as Hellion walked her around and pointed out the different buildings, she found herself greatly impressed. The professor's cause was a noble one. There were so many kids out there, superpowered mutants, that needed a place to stay and be taught these kinds of things. Though most could possibly integrate back into society later, it was in teendom that most could ruin their chances of ever being normal again. As they strolled around, Aleta's heart was warmed by seeing kids of all shapes, sizes, and ages having fun together, interacting with other mutants. A noble cause. She thought to herself again. When they saw the professor, she would have to thank him warmly for the fact that it existed.
"This is so amazing," she said to Julian finally after his words had ceased in frequency after a while. "I had known for a long time that this kind of thing was needed, a school and safe haven for mutants, and I wondered if it had been filled at any point in time." Glancing around again at the beautiful grounds, she added, "It's good to know that I wasn't the first one to think of it."
(Sorry it took me a while.)
