“Time Jarvis?” Pepper was moving things around her office. Mostly trying to file away her paperwork before her next meeting. She didn’t truly know what this man wanted, however any business venture was one, that she would listen to. In her opinion the best ideas came from people on the outside looking in, well at least most of the best ideas. That caused a smile to form across her lips. “Several more minutes Miss Potts.” He knew what she really wanted. Jarvis had been helping her more than Tony these days, and she wasn’t sure how to feel about that.
“Jarvis where is my…” She started to glance around. Pepper didn’t know it at the time, but her instincts were normally good at picking up dangerous situations, she just had to believe in them. Something that she often didn’t do. After all, she had been wrong in the past, hadn’t she? “Top left drawer like normal Miss Potts.” She opened the drawer and smiled down at her digital pad, she had everything in there. Well, almost everything. There seemed to be some things you could never make digital, no matter how much Tony tried. “Thank you Jarvis.” No matter how many times she had spoken to Tony about the AI she still considered him a person to some extent. If it was possible for a human and an AI to bond, or even become friends, this pair would have been the closest. “You are welcome Miss Potts.”.
Since so many were dying to meet Tony in person, Pepper had to start a filtering process. Which normally lead her taking care of all the meetings, planning most of the get meetings that Tony saw. There were just so many women throwing themselves at the billionaire. Not that he ever seemed to mind. That thought distracted her, causing a small smile to run across her lips and a hand to run though her hair. “His Helicopter has arrived Miss Potts.”
In a scramble that only the AI knew about, she stuffed some things in the empty drawer of her desk, for such emergencies, picked up her standard digital pad in it’s leather case, grabbed her hair clip, and she was off to the elevator. Once safely out of sight of most people, most, seeing as Jarvis ran most of the security, she twirled her hair until she pin it up in her clip. She hated meeting helicopters, if she didn’t pin her hair then the mess that would ensue was not pretty. When she finally exited the elevator she was looking at something on her digital pad. Jarvis had sent her what he could access about the meeting, well at least about the person asking for one.
When the helicopter slowly touched down her hands wrapped around the digital pad and allowed it to rest in front of her. A smile crept across her lips. In times like this she often wished she didn’t wear suits that had skirts. Sure, they looked nice, professional feminine, but helicopters always seemed to annoy her when she wore a skirt. Patiently the woman waited as the body guards excited and event he man she was going to be meeting. When he exited, and moved towards her and the two armed guards near the elevator she approached and offered him her hand when he became close enough to her. “Hello Mr. Samuel. It’s a pleasure to finely meet you.” Her hands shakes were normally firm, yet in some way she still managed to display an air of feminine that many would take for granted. “Shall we go into my office?”
