"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Past her shoulders and it varies between a strawberry blonde to a pale red. Often worn straight though sometimes it can be curled at the bottom, but it doesn't tend to hold the curl for long.
Eyes: A pretty, natural shade of blue and often with a sort of half lidded quality to them, unless she's angry with Tony. If she's mad at Tony they're pretty wide and angry.
Height: 5'9
Weight: 130lbs
Distinguishing Marks: None of any real note at this point.
Appearance: Pepper is a tall, lean woman. She's got a petite figure, not really busty or full at the hip, but still definitely feminine. She takes good care of herself and takes pride in how she looks, whether she's meeting with CEOs or helping Tony design something new, she looks good. Formal dress or paint covered shorts and a tank top, she brings her own confidence to it, and makes it look good.
Face Claim: Gwenyth Paltrow
"I’m not interested in making new friends,
I don’t even like the ones I have”
I don’t even like the ones I have”
Likes: Learning new things
Being right
Tony Stark and Stark Industries
The Avengers Initiative (though she does worry about Tony and the others)
Phil Coulson
Happy
Having nice things, though she's not extremely materialistic.
Secretly, she likes the gadgets and technology that Tony makes.
That gleam in Tony's eye when he's got a plan or an idea for something new.
Dislikes: Hammer Industries
When Tony gets hurt, does something stupid, or puts himself in harms way.
Pepper hates it when people treat her like she's some sort of weak little girl.
People not stopping to listen to her, she often has the right answer.
When people tell her to 'take it easy' 'calm down' or say 'maybe you just need to get away'. (Not everyone has that luxury, Tony)
That gleam in Tony's eye when he's got a plan or an idea for something new.
Personality: Pepper is an independent go-getter with a head for business. She doesn't like being incredibly doted upon or treated any differently because she's a woman. She is strong willed and a bit hard headed (You have to be to deal with Stark Industries). She is very intelligent and has a very sharp wit. She doesn't take kindly to people throwing their weight around or putting innocent people in general. She also pays no mind to her own safety at times, frequently 'requiring rescuing' because she refuses to leave with everyone else.
She likes looking nice, but isn't vain. She isn't selfish or mean, though she can be assertive if she needs to. Pepper is passionate about her work and enjoys doing it. Now, things have started changing and she's finding a part of herself she hadn't ever really accessed before, love. She's realizing that she is fully capable of falling in love and really enjoys the feeling of being wanted. She finally realized that was what made her feel good.
Often, she finds herself hitting a wall of anxiety or anger at which point she will lash out. Sometimes it's thrown at the nearest target, sometimes she tears herself up. This has been getting better with the new relationship happening, but it still does happen.
When it comes down to the end of the world type stuff, Pepper is self sacrificing and wants to defend everyone else. When put in a situation where she might be in danger she's not the kind of person to sit idly by and hope someone saves her. She's going to fight and kick and scream and insult them. She has a fire that just can't be extinguished.

She is very loyal to those close to her.
Extremely intelligent and sharp.
She knows how to get Tony to do what she wants before he realizes he's doing it.
Pepper has a innate ability to be an excellent moderator during arguments and can often make points for both sides.
Weaknesses: Pepper Potts is human and at risk of dying any way a human normally can.
She has a bit of an attitude (while well-founded normally) that could get her into trouble one day.
Tony and the other Avengers, she cares a lot about them, and hates to see them in danger.
Easily frustrated, when things get tough, and there's a lot on her plate, Pepper tries to cope but has been known to throw her hands up and walk away before.

History: Before Pepper was the executive assistant of Tony Stark she was a young girl with a good head on her shoulders who excelled in math, science and debate. Then she moved to the big city for college and did well there too. The only problem was, she didn't know what she wanted to do. So many things stood out to her, but, in a fit of anxiety, she threw her hands up and quit school. The only thing was, that she didn't tell her parents right off. So rather than going to classes, she got a basic crap job at Stark Industries, one of the companies at the forefront of technology. It excited her, hearing about the new ideas, seeing the prototypes. This was something that was fun and interesting to her, though she didn't care much for Tony himself.
This continued for a year or two before one day, while bringing the coffees by Mr. Stark's office, she managed to overhear something. There was a problem, a huge book keeping problem that no one seemed to be able to figure out. They were rushing to fix it before he came in (no earlier than one in the afternoon normally). When she offered to take a crack at it, the financial consultants just laughed at her, what did she know about a multi-million dollar transaction? Finally, after some... verbal urging, she got them to back off and let her try. There was one thing she wasn't aware of though, the whole thing was being monitored. As she sat in front of the computer, she pushed some things around. A few thoughtful noises later and about an hour of time spent, she resolved the problem and saved Tony Stark millions of dollars over the next several years.
Upon arrival at work the next day, Virginia "Pepper" Potts was escorted to a new area of the building. Tony Stark's personal office. He told her that he knew about what she did and that she was being promoted to his personal executive assistant. Now, keep in mind, Pepper was not crazy about this womanizing alcoholic, but the pay raise was steep and thinking about not living pay check to pay check certainly had an allure. She accepted the job, and her life was never the same again.
A few years passed, then a couple more, and Pepper was an integral part of Tony's life, and he was more important to her than she'd ever admit. Maybe she was a glutton for punishment, or maybe she could see something in the man. A certain light that touched his eyes when he worked on a new project... Sometimes when he'd laugh... really laugh, she could see him. Then, something terrible happened. Tony was in the middle east, showing the military the new weapons he had created when he was caught in a car bombing. As far as she knew, for several months, Tony Stark was dead. She mourned often, privately. Then suddenly he re-surfaced, now with a glowing blue light in his chest and a new calling in life. He was going to be a beacon of peace, not of war. Pepper loved this turn of events.
Loved it that is, until she realized that piece of metal in his chest was keeping another, larger piece of metal away from stabbing his heart. That though, made him create one of the greatest things he had ever done: Iron Man. Pepper loved the idea of Iron Man, almost as much as she hated it. Now, he was seeking out ways to put himself in danger, in fast danger. He could be gone in an instant and without warning, and Pepper wasn't so sure she liked that. Later that year, he saved her life and earned her gratitude. This also ignited a desire within her, why did he care about her so much? She was just an assistant, a friend maybe too, but... He risked his life to save hers. What did it mean?
Then came the year where Tony was dying, and decided it would be best NOT to tell anyone. Instead, he promoted Pepper to CEO effective immediately. Not only was it exciting, and scary, it was also frustrating because now she had all of his messes to clean up. On top of that, she had to handle his brazen attempts at his new secretary. Why did Pepper feel so jealous? After that? Boom! Anton Vanko stuck his disgusting fingers (seriously, have you seen his nails?) into the mix and started pulling out all these concerns and fears that Pepper had for the well being of Tony. Finally, she found out he was dying and that was nearly the last thing she needed to solidify her feelings for him. In the end, what sealed it for her was when he, yet again, selflessly saved her life. On the rooftop, after a momentary interruption from Rhodey it happened.
A kiss. The kind you see at the end of a movie. The kind that happens when two people who have been at odds with each other realize that it wasn't anger, it was frustration at not understanding what they wanted. And man... what a kiss.
Then, ahead a little more to 2012, when Tony was approached, again, by Agent Coulson (who by this time had become friends with Pepper) about the Avenger's Initiative. Pepper urged him to go and play hero, but to come back in one piece. She would go on to Washington and handle the company, like she always did. She watched in horror on the flight as they fought the Chitauri in Manhattan. She was so focused on watching the fight that she missed the phone call from Tony that could have potentially been his last, and it was to her.
After everything, Tony and Pepper remained close, and she reconciled the loss of her good friend Phil. Manhattan had nearly been leveled, but they survived and had to look onto what was on the horizon. She would continue on as an irreplaceable facet of Stark Industries, a confidant to Tony Stark, and friend of the Avenger's.

"No, I don't think you understand how busy we are right now. I realize that you want an interview, but you also need to realize that Tony has earned some time off." Pepper was walking down the hall toward Tony's lab, a black pencil skirt wrapped tightly around her hips with a teal dress shirt, as she walked and spoke on the phone, her free hand unbuttoned the two buttons at the top of her shirt. She laughed at something that was said on the phone, "All I can tell you is that Tony is taking a break, but he's still going to be Iron Man."
She pushed open the door after carding in. Walking across the tile floor she stepped over some large cables looking for the scruffy man she was talking about. Finally, she was able to get off the phone, "Tony?" She kept walking in and sighed deeply, "Come on, Tony, don't try to scare me." She kept walking in and found a note -Pepper, meet me at Stark... 'A' Tower. I've got a surprise for you, Tony-
"Great, well if it blows something up or explodes itself I don't want it." She murmured under her breath. Soon, she was on her way, all the way back across town to Stark Tower. Walking up to the entrance she sighed, what had he done this time? What had he blown up or who had he pissed off? What fire did she have to put out today? Getting up to the top floor she opened the door, seeing a table set, romantically for two. Coming from the shadows was the scruffy man who didn't look like the man she met all those years ago. He looked better.
A smile came across her lips, hands sitting on her waist as she looked forward at him, "Okay, what did you do?"
"I'm through talking, get out of my cave,"
