Bruce Wayne already had the day planned out; dinner, a Broadway show, and then sight seeing in one of the greatest cities in the world. While it was no Gotham City (and to Bruce, that will always be his number one), it was incredibly pleasing and he could now see why people prided themselves on being called "New Yorkers". Mixed with the larger-than-life skyscrapers and the seductive billboards, this cool summer's evening, made New York the best place in which he could possibly take his new love interest, Vicki Vale. Eavesdropping in a group's conversation, Bruce's infatuation for the city quickly dissipated as the civilians spoke about the up-and-coming vigilante nicknamed "The Spiderman". Bruce surveyed the city, thoughts going through his mind about the other articles he read about the city; the other crime-fighters of this city with their mixture of sociopaths and villains. Just thinking about this city's crazies and terrorists made him think of Gotham's crazies and terrorists. The thought about them all made Bruce's adrenaline start to surge --
No! For this one second the city would be well on its own. For this one night, Gotham would be protected. After all, he trusted his sidekicks in keeping the city safe during his absence, therefore, he could enjoy himself (upon request of his old friend, Alfred). This night was for the infamous billionaire and his date, therefore, his mind would be occupied on her and her alone. Walking amongst the crowd (with some occasional onlookers asking if that was, indeed, Bruce Wayne), Bruce entered in his Lamborghini and rode off to his date's destination: The upper East side of Manhattan. Bruce examined his appearance in his mirror, as his appearance was absolutely everything, and soon arrived to the posh restaurant. Immediately, Bruce was greeted and led to one of the best seats in the restaurant; away from many other customers though next to one of the best windows in the place. After having a great relationship with the manager of the eatery, this treatment was complimentary to the billionaire, though he was too absorbed in his own thoughts to take in the treatment. A simple nod to the waitress and a small glance at his menu, he patiently awaited for his date.
The lovely Vicki Vale...
[Sorry for the horrible opening!]
