Nicholas Joseph Fury
I've got my eye on you
.....................................................................
Full Name: Nicholas Joseph Fury
Code Name: Fury, Mr. Anger, Doyle, the Man in the Mystery Mask, November Foxtrot, the Marvel Chuck Norris (It came to me while I was writing, don't judge me.)
Age: On the cusp of a century, 100 years old, he was given the Infinity Formula which halted his own aging process. Fountain of Youth, motherfuckers.
Date of Birth: It doesn't matter, he's Nick fucking Fury. He was born not too longer after the end of World War I in the year of 1919.
Sexual Orientation: Straight.
Species: Human
Alliance: SHIELD
Citizenship: Marvel
Canon or Original?: Marvel Canon
"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: The man use to have a full head of hair, during the seventies he sported the afro-- real talk. However during a mission to Australia he was exposed to a type of blast that removed the hair from his head. Needless to say the motherfucker was taken care of by Fury himself in vengeance for his hair.
Eyes: Nicholas has almond shaped brown eyes... eye. He due to debris that scrapped his left eye, Nick is 95% blind and wears an eye patch,
Height: 6'2
Weight: 231lb.
Distinguishing Marks:
While fighting in the Gulf War, alongside Wolverine, Fury and his team were caught off guard by a grenade launch from the enemy. Though others suffered a worse fate, Fury was cut with debris on his actual eye as well as his eyebrow, eyelid, and cheek. It resulted in scars forming as well as his vision in his left eye to become practically blind. He wears an eye path over his left eye which hides the scars on his eyelid and extends about half and inch below his lower eyelid.
Appearance:
Nicholas stands at an impressive 6'2, taller than the average man but then again there is nothing quite average about him. He is a very solid man, what is under his clothing is all muscle. His age is reaching a century though physically he looks to be in his late thirties, early forties-- though he would still whoop some ass if he looked seventy. He is always seen in with an eye patch sported over his left eye as it covers some of the scars and his nearly blind eye brought on from a grenade in World War II. And he has the manly facial hair of a beard around his mouth but does not exceed around his cheeks or jaw.
He is, now, dressed in his trademark black pants tucked into black boots with a black bulletproof vest over a black shirt with his black trench coat. However on missions which call for him to come out of the hellicarrier and fight, the particularly dangerous ones, Fury wears his fireproof and bulletproof uniform made of Kevlar and a particular Beta Cloth. His clothing is wired with cameras and other surveillance devices so that his whereabouts are known by SHIELD should some dumb motherfucker try to kidnap him.

Personality:
Fury is a take charge kind of guy. He has no time pussy footing around the truth, no time for bullshit. He is the leader of SHIELD, currently, which means he looks over every single agent and if one slips up it could be the world at stake. Given that knowledge Fury rules with an iron fist, quick to express his disappoint and even quicker to dish out a reprimand. He's older than most he works with so he possesses wisdom, knowledge of things that some could not wrap their heads around. He is an expert in lying, he is a world class spy so it comes as the same language as regular speech. The man isn't as heartless as he seems nor is he as bad. The man can have a sense of humor if it so pleases him.
When he loses a person of significance for him it pulls at his heartstrings greatly. At times he becomes more cut off, more short. Though a negative is that if there is a greater purpose of a tragic event, he isn't above twisting the truth even if it risks severing ties with others, just as long as the job gets done. Some could say that he lives in a world of dreams and fairy tales, that the world doesn't need the deterrents of nuclear power, of bullets and assassinations. Given what he has lived through for nearly a century of just those things, he has put his faith in the abilities, in the good, of the people were different than the rest of the humans. Those who fight the corrupt, those who try to save the world. He has fought alongside some of the world's greatest superheroes without the human population even knowing over half of them existed. To Fury, his life is no fairy tale, it's a start of what could possibly save the human race as a whole.
"With great power comes great responsibility"
Powers:
He has no actual power though due to the Infinity Formula he has stopped his aging.
Weapons
Fury always carries a weapon on him and it is usually a gun and small knives. He has complete training on all types of weapons that range from a dagger to being able to fly and shoot from planes.
Strengths/Abilities:
Nick has been fully trained as a Ranger, demolition expert, paratrooper (parachuting), and vehicle specialist (can drive all types of vehicles which include war vehicles-- think tanks and all those other big destructive motherfuckers). He has full authority and knowledge of operating any ships given his rank as a commander. He is fully trained in the Black Beret Special Forces as well Green. He has been an agent of the Office of Special services as well as being a liaison of the British Secret Intelligence, the MI-5. He is a seasoned expert in armed and unarmed combat as well as being sufficient in in Tae Kwan Do (black belt), Jiu Jitsu (brown belt) as well as heavyweight boxing during his time in the Army. He learned to fly a plane during his time in War World II. He is an excelled tactician and liar.
Weaknesses:
He can be killed, he is only human.
Relies on his one good eye so he is susceptible to surprise attacks on his left.

the sanest man alive to lunacy,"

History:
Nicholas Joseph Fury was born to a mother who died not too long after childbirth and a father who was Jack Fury, a world war I pilot. He did the best he could as a father, he lived off the money he was provided for his service as well as taking up a small part time job tending to his mother's, Nicholas' grandmother, home and farm. From an early age, the young Nick was taught discipline as he began helping outside at the age of four. He went out in the hot sun and pulled weeds, shelled peas, removed the ears of corn from their stalks though it was not limited to just those chores. His father wanted to teach Nick various life lessons so that he would grow up to be a fine man. A fine man Nick Fury became.
Fury was apart of World War II, he and his team took missions to Europe, Red Hargrove, a close friend of Fury's, under the lead of Lt. Samuel Sawyer. Fury came into contact with Timothy "Dum-Dum" Dugan who went on later to become one of the members of the US Rangers' First Attack Squad of which Sawyer declared Fury the leader, though it earned the name Howling Commados given their battle cry. Dugan was Fury's first in command, Hargrove having passed not long before the attack on Pearl Harbor. The Howling Commandos worked alongside Captain American and Bucky Barnes during their shared time in Europe as they fought against the nazis. It was during this war Fury and his team was caught off guard by a grenade blast which damaged his sight in his left eye rendering him 95% blind as well as his flesh being littered with scars around his left eye, upon his brow, and a bit below his eye which extends upon his upper cheek. It was during this time in which Sternberg gave Fury the Infinite Formula which ceased his aging. He continued various missions for the people he worked for, worked with which led to him joining the OSS, the Office of Special Services, and then later joined the post-war CIA after the end of World War II.
He went on to further himself in various secretive organizations that fought against the corrupt. He was fully trained in various types of combat as well as other organizations. For every war America fought Nick Fury was involved as a commander or lieutenant. He participated in the Gulf War where he met Wolverine and fought alongside the man, sure to keep him in mind for future meetings. Years went by as he worked for the British government apart of the MI-5. SHIELD was formed and he was easily the one all thought should head it. SHIELD, Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate or Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, by some, was originally thought of by Fury after World War II ended but he felt the US government wouldn't approve of the idea so he put it away and went on with his business. However, a decision by the UN brought it back to the front, without his knowledge, and SHIELD was in business. It was Fury's own personal assignment to go out and recruit the finest minds, the most powerful of allies to come together and work for him. To save the world from HYDRA and the other likes.
It seemed the world was becoming a dark place and it was up to Fury and those of like minds to bring together Earth's Mightiest Heroes. They had found an old acquaintance of Fury's being Captain America, a man they thought they had lost during World War II. With it came the tesseract, a magical object used by Red Skull for nuclear weapons, from out of the sea. The Council, Fury's 'bosses', had decided it was a good idea to harness the power to create weapons used to defend Earth from invadors- though Fury felt they would be used against the population of Earth as means of threats and intimidation to those who revolted against the Government's wants and wishes. It was the Destroyer sent by Loki of Asgard which brought on the happenings, supposedly, though Fury believed them to have the idea of nuclear weapons long before that.
Rather than entertain the Council, Fury set out to enlist the help from the likes of Tony "Iron Man" Stark, Steve "Captain America" Rodgers, Natasha "Black Widow" Romanov, and Clint "Hawkeye" Barton. He had an idea, a task force just like the ones he had been apart of. They were all human, some just had extra abilities but they were 'good', they fought for the good of the human population. They ran into problems such as the Hulk destroying Harlem, other members not having the most sparkling history. Given SHIELD's work with the tesseract, it caused other beings, other worlds, to take notice of Earth as it held such a powerful power source. Loki came to Earth and within twenty four hours the world was faced with an alien invasion with the Asgardian God at the forefront. Through the sacrifice of Philip Coulson, the death that wasn't perminate, it brought together the Avengers, Fury's brainchild instead of nuclear weapons. They fought together against the invasion of Earth and they continue to do so,
