Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

[atrb=border,0,true] Spider-Woman [style=width:450; height:300; padding:25; text-align:justify; font-family:verdana; font-size:10px; color:white; overflow:auto] Jessica Drew was a lot of things, and nearly fearless was one of them. She was on the edge of one of the tallest buildings in Metropolis in her suit. She had been sent here on a bit of an exploration mission by S.W.O.R.D to see if any of their world's alien threats had made the leap into the new world that was attached. She sighed a bit, looking down at the fancy pants watch on her wrist that would alert her of skrulls in the area. Luckily there had been nothing so far. It was more than a little intimidating to be this far out, all alone. No one could get to her fast enough to help her if she needed it. So far though, she hadn't needed it. Thank... whatever big thing may or may not be in the sky.
Jess had to take a minute and enjoy the view of Metropolis. It really was a lovely, lovely city. Bright, clear, so different than other cities she had been to. Their league of heroes must do a good job patrolling this city to keep it so clean. Though, as Jessica knew well, if you dug deep enough, you always found dirt. Her dark, black curls floated on the air around her, giving her a very ethereal look in her skin tight red and yellow designed suit. She hung on the side of the building by nothing, or so it appeared. Too high for the... normal observer to notice her though.
Then, it went off... Her watch that is. "About bloody time." She murmured softly before she moved forward, diving headlong off of the building into a free fall. Her arms were tight to her sides for a good portion of the fall before she moved to spread them out where the reinforced webbing could catch the air and pull her up a bit like a parachute... or a flying squirrel. She looked a little more like a flying squirrel, just in a latex suit. -At least I look damn good doing it.- She thought to herself as she began to straighten her arms out. |

Every now and then Clark liked to get away, the way some people want a vacation from their everyday life when things become, too much to handle at one time. Only unlike basically everyone on the planet, he could actually do so. This is why he was currently floating just outside the sun, well not completely outside it. The flames that erupted off of it would sweep past him or even swat at him and bounce off as he floated there with his eyes closed while facing the orb of seering heat and flame. Something so deadly to so much life was so beautiful and breathtaking, and the reason he could do everything he could. This giant ball of fire, that could destroy everything that came close to it, made him nearly the strongest being in the universe.
Sure he could have gone and visited the Fortress like he normally does to get away but that doesn't help all the time. He wasn't ignoring Earth or it's many problems, he would never do that. But he was getting away from everything that came with two worlds merging. So many more and new problems piled on the already current ones. And for some reason the Justice League was too scattered to have any meetings about it. He's summoned them but they've yet to show. He could just as easily go and visit each and every one of them on their home turf but that took time when they all had their own lives to live. He felt like they were slowly reverting to their solo act days. He hasn't even spoken to Bruce or Diana since the worlds merged, he really hoped they were alright.
With a second world of heroes merged with his own there were plenty of heroes to watch over the Earth right? Nope. Even while this far away from the planet he was listening to all the voices on Earth, every single life on that planet was still being watched over by him right now. The ever doting hero, never leaving his planet entirely unprotected. There was much happening, Earth never went a day without some kind of incident going on. Which made it no surprise when he picked up a scream followed by 'That women just jumped off the roof' coming from Metropolis. After he first became a public figure this was happening multiple times a day just so women could meet him, and touch him. As the years passed it dulled down to once or twice a week. His eyes flashed open and he was shooting towards Earth at top speed, at least top speed that he would allow himself to go without tearing apart the universe around him.
It only took him a matter of seconds but he was back in his city and flying down to catch a woman in a most peculiar, and tight fitting, so tight fitting that it could double of body paint, red and yellow costume. She was in his arms right now and he could get a clear view of the entire front side of her, a fact that he quickly looked away from.
"Hmm, you don't come off as the usual damsel in distress type. I get a lot of women jumping off rooftops just so I'd catch them so this is normal for me. You must be from the other universe."
Oh sure he had no idea if she was a hero or villain, but seeing as nothing in the area was blowing up or destroyed he'd put a bet on her being one of that worlds good guys. If he was wrong he would find out very quickly.

[atrb=border,0,true] Spider-Woman [style=width:450; height:300; padding:25; text-align:justify; font-family:verdana; font-size:10px; color:white; overflow:auto] It felt so good, the wind whipping her hair as she fell, plummeted from the top of the building in Metropolis toward the ground where she would find the Skrull soldier she was looking for. Her eyes even shut for a moment until she was startled by the feeling of wind suddenly coming from under her and nearly flailed before she felt strong arms wrap around her. She let out a startled scream and stared down at the man through her mask. Her black hair all rushing forward as her downward motion suddenly stopped.
"Oi! What're you doing!" Jessica exclaimed suddenly, not sure who this man was but he was a bit too strong. Though he did have a straight view on her chest and wasn't taking it, admirable. Didn't mean he wasn't a villain or on the side of the Skrull maybe. Her hands rested flat against his shoulders as she pushed away, trying to snake out of his grip. "Let me go!" She exclaimed, but even a gentle hold from Superman was enough to let her stay caught.
A sharp flicker of green flashed from where her hands rested on his shoulders and bio-electricity flowed from her fingers, only trying to numb his arms enough to release her. A bit of a concern in her mind though because she wasn't sure if she was high enough up to safely land now. This man though... he could literally break her in half and that made her increasingly more nervous. She decided she'd take her chances with the ground if the opportunity presented itself.
Jessica kept struggling and squirming, finally she just gave up and leaned back in his arms to get a look at his face. "So, you gonna kill me or what?" She was no stranger to near death. It had followed her around her entire life. Every day with H.Y.D.R.A and even S.W.O.R.D was terrifying and dangerous. Every day her life was challenged from the moment her father decided to put her in that evolution tank. She was no stranger to fear, and while still scared... she didn't show it. No fear on her face, only frustration at her current situation. "'Cause if you're going to kill me, you'll find I'm remarkably resilient and come with some of the worst enemies that'll want to get back at you for taking me out first." Was that a smile? Her full, pouty lips just spread into a smile. What a strange girl.

Women, strangest creatures no matter what race they were, human, amazon, alien, all women were strange and complex creatures and neither Clark or Superman could understand them for the life of him, not even the ones he was close to. This woman seemed to be no exception, her colorful costume, flailing, pushing, yelling, and attempted arm numbing were to no avail for her.
"Kill you? Do I look like the kill you type? I thought I was saving you."
He flew to the closest rooftop and set her down and then took a few steps away from her and rested his hands on his hips.
"So I take it you were not trying to kill yourself back there. Sorry about that, I'm Superman, and it looks like I messed something up for you back there."
Smooth Clark, first encounter with one of the other universes people and you totally make a fool out of yourself. So now that this woman wasn't in his arms and trying to escape maybe he could figure out what she was doing jumping off that roof in the first place and go from there.
