Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Natasha had not been all that prepared for the moment when Director Fury had asked that all of the Avengers be assembled once again to discuss the events that had occured over New York. The last thing she had been told was that she was not to contact any of them without his consent, giving them a little time to themselves after they had saved the world from being utterly destroyed by an alien race they hadn't even known about. And with all of the political pressures they had been under recently, she was a little surprised that SHIELD had not ordered this to happen right after the battle had ceased. After all, didn't they all want answers? Regardless, Natasha wasn't sure what would happen if they were all brought back together for this brief moment in time, having gone off to try and recover from the events that had shaken many of them.
The conference room in the Helicarrier had been set up for the meeting of the heroes, the security systems put in place to ensure that they would be alone and not overhead by anyone else who happened to wonder at their conversations. Fury had been clear that they were all to return, though she wasn't sure how he had managed to find all of them again. After managing to save the world everyone had gone off in completely different directions, with Clint being the only one she had maintained even the smallest amount of contact with before he too vanished to do his own thing without her. Granted, she had briefly met up with Stark and Rogers when Spiderman had become involved, but that meeting hadn't lasted long. And this one actually had a purpose.
She sat herself down in one of the chairs at the round table, the SHIELD symbol looking up at her with authority. Everyone would be arriving shortly, which left Natasha only a few moments to collect her thoughts before she broached a rather painful subject with the rest of the Avengers. She knew that Stark wasn't going to take to kindly to it, and that Rogers had been rather affected by it as well, but for the others...well, she wasn't entirely sure. Some dealt with this sort of thing better than others, granted...but what did that mean for the dynamic of the team as a whole? She wasn't sure...but she was certainly going to find out.
OOC: if everyone wants to post first so that we can establish a posting order, we'll get this thread on the roll!

Bruce was sore that had been a given, he hadn’t been the hulk for a while he didn’t have to be and then he had been back fighting throwing aliens around like had been nothing. Yet there was something to take out of the whole thing he had been accepted, there had been people that would willingly work with him and that had been something that he had not expected. Sure they had a failsafe for if they couldn’t control the hulk but he had been looking for such a thing for years needless to say he could see where they were coming from. He might not have liked how they had done things but at the same time he could tell that they had gotten him to work with him as even though the Hulk was an uncontrollable monster at times they knew that he was a valuable asset.
When he had woken up the next morning he had ached all over and he had one hell of a headache until he had downed about half a pot of coffee, granted he had not slept that well but his body was in absolute agony his back and ribs still ached but he knew that he had done some good and that was almost worth the aching pain in his whole body. It had not been without its problems when he had first changed he had nearly harmed Black Widow and then he had clashed with Thor. Other than that though he had not done too badly in working with a team, he did hope however that he would be able to make amends with Black Widow, the fact was even though they could be the best trained heroes in the world the Hulk was always going to be the wild card and that was something that had been shown already. He had been told of the meeting and he had felt that it would have been the best way to talk to the team due to the fact that they would be all together and they would be able to voice their concerns if there where any about working with him. Arriving at the hellcarrier as the plane had arrived and brought him in from the flat that he had recently rented; he got himself some coffee after being pointed in the right direction by Maria Hill who then told him where to go to reach the rest of the team. Walking into the room he saw that Natasha was already there.
“How are you?” he said closing the door and sitting down. “Before the others get here I would like to apologise as well, I lost control and I put you at risk I am sorry that it happened I should have held my control better.”
"Talk like this."

He came in silently, making sure not to disturb the conversation going on between his friend Natasha and Bruce Banner, also known as Hulk. The final debriefing had finally come around. In a way, he was glad. For a while he thought that it wasn't going to happen, after everything that had happened lately. Clint had been so busy, running around everywhere, trying to sort things out and make peace. He hadn't even had time to see Natasha. It made him feel so guilty, looking at her. He found himself wondering if she missed him, though it didn't appear that way from the way she was sitting and looking at Bruce as he talked to her. Fury had insisted that Clint be here, even as far as taking the sharpshooter out of a scheduled mission and putting another agent in. By now the memory of that first battle of the Avengers' was nearly non-tangible, and Clint couldn't pull it up unless it was mentioned. The world had moved on, as well as Hawkeye's career. Life was life, and the days passed just as fast as they did before the Loki incident. He seated himself on the rail that overlooked the Bridge, staring out at the clouds parting in front of the Helicarrier as they forged ahead. He wasn't going to sit in the chairs; he wasn't a big fan of plushy seats. He didn't even have anything that was even remotely cushy in his apartment. It made him want to fall asleep. And then Fury would yell at him. Even though Clint slept with his eyes open, it would just be awkward. Clint would fire back something non-relevant and everyone would laugh (That is, if they weren't too freaked out from his sightless stare). Anyways, ripping his thoughts from that, he listened to the two at the table talk, and waited for the rest of everyone to show up.

Nick Fury had contacted Steve about this assembly of The Avengers a few hours upon his arrival back to New York. For the past few weeks, Steve had been looking for any known whereabouts or clues regarding his long lost old friend, Bucky Barnes who fell from the train that fateful day back before Steve was frozen in time. It was a lost cause, since that happened so long ago, and there were no traces of Bucky whatsoever. Steve even traveled to the direct location of where the indecent took place, but being so long ago, well nothing looked the same now. Although, it still remains unknown whether Bucky lived or died after the fall.
It was refreshing to get the call from Nick to attend this sudden meeting in the confrence room on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Steve was missing all the action that The Avengers were involded in, because it's been far to long since the last battle between the alien invasion from the wrath of Loki. Things were far too quiet lately, not to mention that Steve was eager to check up on his allies again, after all, that's what leaders do. He was wondering what Natasha, Clint, Bruce, Thor, and Tony had been up to most recently. Steve also wondered how they've been since everyone's departure to go off and do their own thing.
It didn't take long for Steve to arrive at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, particularly the scheduled meeting at the conference room. Walking into the room, Steve immediately seen that a few of his fellow Avengers were present already. Usually, Steve was never late, but this was a sudden assembly, but he was here and proud to be, so now he could communicate with all his friends. "Hello everyone," Steve spoke out to them all politely with a smile on his face. "This is certainly grand that we, well, most of us are already here for this assembly. How have all of you been? Staying safe and out of trouble I hope. Nick has yet to inform me on the reason for this sudden assembly, but it's pleasant to be here. Now, we wait on Thor and Tony," Steve walked over and took a seat at the S.H.I.E.L.D. round table.
