Personality:
Bobby is a giver when it comes to the X-Men. They have always been there for him, and he takes great pride in being with them, He will always stand for what is right, and fight until his dying breath against those who have fallen to their urges, or are trying to take away the liberty of others
His is also very painfully loyal, going out of his way to make sure that the other members of his team are alright, often shirking the responsibility of making sure that he, himself is. But he also loves to have a good time, and his smile and laugh are infectious. He usually will include anyone with his banter, to get them to feel like they are a part of the group.
He is very strong-willed "Well it should be hard its made of ice!" and when he wants to get something done, he does, or makes a complete ass out of himself. But he counteracts this by being incredibly brave in dangerous situations, and also when he is owning up to his own personal mistakes.
Bobby is also painfully honest. Never letting his emotions linger too long, and very expressive in his face and eyes. His thoughts are always on the tip of his tongue, and just about anyone who is around will probably gain a little insight into the way that his mind works, even if they don't really want to. His honesty can sometimes work against him, especially when it comes to his emotions, that sometimes can be a bit complicating, when it comes to dealing with certain members of his team, and also those not on it. This sometimes gives him the appearance that his is not emotionally mature, and that he cant handle some instances, so he has to fight to be seen as the adult that he really is, in and out of the team.

Powers:
Thermokinesis: Bobby has the ability to lower her internal temperature within seconds, which exudes extreme cold around him. His bodies doesnt suffer any negative side-effects from the sub-zero temps. This is also him being able to override a part of his brain and force the temperatures to change from what the "normal" humans temp is. This is what gives him the ability to see the thermal traces of everything around him, as well as decrease thermal energy that is around him.
Cryokinesis: This is his ability to control and manipulate the water in the air to take any ice shape that he wishes. He mainly uses this to create his ice collum, by which he travels during a fight, and short distances, along with many other things such as, ice-shields, ice-projectiles, and slides.
Organic Ice-Form: This is where Iceman encases his entire body with ice, giving him a translucent look with a slight tinge of blue coloring. In this form he is nearly indestructible. With this he is able deposit himself into large bodies of water, and travel across them, and then pull himself back together. This is done by merging his molecules with those of the water in the body of water.
Weapons N/A
Strengths/Abilities:
-Formidable in hand to hand combat, having a broad range of the marital arts world. He has been trained by Beast, and by Cyclops, not to mention the use of the Danger Room At Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. He normally is in there about twice a week, just to keep his reflexes up, and to keep pushing his own limits.
-Augmented Strength while in ice form, having blows and hits that are stronger than his normal ones. Not to mention that he is able to form entire layers of ice over his body, giving him massive protection from stronger blows from more formidable opponents.
-His X-Men family. When fighting together, they play off each others strengths and weaknesses, so that they can get the job done, making him part of an incredible fighting force.
-His ability to come up with just about any weapon thinkable, just made up out of ice. He has made bats, chains, walls, projectiles, all very dangerous, and all being manipulated in size, in accordance to Bobby's needs. He also has an ice slide that appears under his feet, where he is able to move distances quite quickly, just by changing the degree of the curve in the slide.
-Also being immune to sub-zero temperatures gives him an edge. He is able see the thermal energy of things around him, being that he himself is always so cold. So anything that could be giving off a heat signature, he will be able to see it, even if others are not able to.
Weaknesses:
-Has set backs with creativity and imagination so hasn't open his full potential. This being said, not everything that e tries to do works, or its just that the idea hasn't sprung up in his head yet.
-Can only maintain ice form for a matter of hours, before he is mentally exhausted. This takes a long time, but once he hits his peak performance, and he starts to generally get weakened in or around extreme heat. The moisture in the air being cooked doesn't help him one bit.
-Emotional. Causing him to get into situations that he need not to really, sometimes putting the life of others on the line as well as his own safety. Also, being that he wears his emotions on his face and on his sleeve as well, he falls in and out of love quickly, mostly just hurting himself in the process. At times his bad moods and insecurities can drive away his friends, making Bobby feel extremely alone, and unwanted, spiraling him further into emotional pain
-Insecure. There are times when we all feel like this, but when it happens to Bobby, especially when he is on a mission with the X-men, it happens to make him rash, and make decisions without thinking about the consequences. He is always trying to make up for his short comings, but sometimes he needs to give himself the mental checks to make sure that he is doing the right thing, instead of just doing the first thing that jumps to his mind.

History:
Robert Louis Drake was born to his mother and father, Madeline and William, in Long Island, New York. He had an ok childhood, up until the time that he discovered his mutant abilities at an early age. He could never get warm, and would always shiver. He kept it all a secret as best as he could. But children sometimes have the worst of it. His mother always thought he was sick when he wasn't and his father, well his father was usually busy with work, so he let Madeline tend to Bobby most of the time, unless of course Bobby would come home with a black eye, or bruises from the kids at school, and then William would come into his room, and give him the same talk that he did just about every week. How kids only pick on others to make themselves feel better, and how that when he got older, it would get better. "Yeah right dad."
Bobby tried to be as normal as possible, while keeping his mutant powers from everyone else. He played sports, keeping basketball and hockey the two that he focused the most on. He did alright in school, when he wasnt getting picked on, or bullied by the other kids. You would think that they would cut the kid a break. But kids will be kids. And there was nothing that he could do about.
One day, when Bobby was minding his own business, sitting down at the table eating lunch, and his regular bully was at his normal shit again. Calling him names, slapping his tray off the table. And then before Bobby could even control what he was doing, he slammed his hand into the kids chest, and in-cased him in a block of solid ice. It didnt take long for the locals to want his head on a stick, almost burning his house down, until he was put in jail for "his own protection."
Once it was out that he had these mutant abilities, he was sent away under the guise of going to a school for gifted children. Charles Xavier was the one that even came and talked to his parents, telling them all the wonders of the school. It was there that he was trained to control and use his ability.
While training, he found that he could do quite the number of things. Turning his whole body into solid ice was his favorite, as it protected him from the stronger blows, and also gave him better strength to strike his opponents with. He took lessons from Scott Summers in strategic planning, just in case he was ever put in charge of a team while on a mission. From Hank "Beast" he learned quick-thinking and battle reasoning, to help him with those hard decisions that would most likely be on every mission. While in classes at Xavier's school and not training, he made friends with Pyro, his complete opposite. He had the power to manipulate fire, but not to create it. So while in school they became close.
But before the two of them were done with school and training to join the X-men, John, up and left the school, joining Magneto and the Brotherhood, stating that the X-men weren't the future and that they were going to have to take what they wanted to get where they wanted.
Once Bobby was done honing his skills, he was able to join the X-men, and they were like the accepting family that he never had. Now he fights alongside them, against The Brotherhood, keeping at bay the human and mutant war. He would do just about any and everything that he could for them. Even if it meant going against his best friend. Again. And again.

It was refreshing to be around all the kids.
He took a deep breath before walking into the school. Everything was different. There were tons of new faces to look at and, all eyes were now on him, being one of the standing members of the X-men. The kids were running through the halls, and that put a smile on his face. It wasn't long ago that he was doing just the same. Just a kid trying to find a place in the world. Well the X-Men had surely done that for him.
"Make sure you don't hurt yourself. I don't want to have to be mopping up body parts later."
He was tired of dealing with Wolverine, as he was such a sourpuss about...well everything. And Rouge, well Rouge was the kind of girl that still said sir and ma'ma, and crossed her t's and dotted her i's. It was cute, and thinking of her brought a smile.
But things had changed. There was something different about the world. An influx of heroes, and with them, their villian counterparts.
He sighed thinking to himself, "This is sure going to be a headache. Sorting from who's "good" and who's "bad. Great just what we need.."
He made his way through the school, and down into the danger room. He grabbed his old training suit, surprised that it still fit. "Well, thats kinda nifty." He had snuggled his way into the outfit, and was checking himself out in the mirror, tugging on the sides, annoyed with the material.
"Sure havent missed the itch inside though."
