So happily she had walked through the city (slightly missing the streets of England, although not enough to put a dampen on her spirits) and into the park. She could still hear the sounds of cars going past as the student pressed forward, her jeans swishing through the air as she walked. As Lilith passed by people she gave them a smile, they say that a smile can brighten someone's day, and she looked out for a space where she might be able to do some work. As the teenager passed an icecream stand, she noticed a young boy with blond hair, glancing around, his breathing increasing. There was no sign of a parent. Frowning, Lilith walked over to the boy. "Are you okay, have your lost your parent?" |
"I can't find Mommy..." The child said, a tear trickiling down his cheek.
"Don't worry, we'll find your Mummy. When did you last see her?"[/b] Lilith asked, crouching down so she was the same height as the boy.
"I was wanted an ice cream! I was waiting and now she's not hear!" The boy began to wail.
"Sh, everything is going to be alright."[/b] Lilith smiled and the boy gave her a watery smile. Standing up, Lilith glanced around, searching for anyone who looked worried and similar to the boy. It wasn't too hard, a young woman was asking various people with tears running down her face.
"I found her,"[/b] Lilith said, looking back down at the boy. "Come on, let's stop her worrying."[/b] She told him and the boy grabbed her hand and she lead him towards the worried woman. As soon as as the boy caught sight of the woman he let go of Lilith's hand and ran over to her. Lilith smiled as the mother and son where reunited, the relief of the mother was massive. The student hoped that they wouldn't have such a situation again and that everything would go perfectly well. The two embraced and after a few seconds, Lilith left the scene, spying a free bench. The school bag she had for carrying her work was heavy and digging against her shoulders.
Walking over to the bench, she placed her bag down, jumping slightly at the loud sound it made. Maybe I should try to make my bag lighter. Lilith thought with a smile as she sat down and took out her books, placing them around her so she could use them later when they were needed and then she took out the questions that she had to answer. Then, Lilith took out her phone and started to play music (listening through the headphones), War of the Worlds. It was one of her favirote things to listen to. While sitting and staring at her homework, Lilith fiddled with her ring, thinking about the question that stared at her and formulating how she would reply.[/div]
