Full Name: Pamela Lillian Isley
Code Name: Poison Ivy
Age: 27
Date of Birth: May 9th
Sexual Orientation: Harlesexual
Species: Genetically Modified Human
Alliance: Villian
Citizenship: DC
Canon or Original?: Canon DC
"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Long Flowing Red Hair
Eyes: Green
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 125 lbs
Distinguishing Marks: Green Skin usually, but can change to Caucasian with focus, lips are always dark green though
Appearance:
Pamela's physiology remarkably plantlike. Her skin feels more like rose petals than human skin, it's green. There are a variety of other things different about her bodies chemistry, but only a few are noticeable at a glance.
She stands around 5'6", fairly average for North American females. She's curvy and petite. She tends to wear vines and foliage instead of clothing and as such is normally seen with quite a bit of skin exposed. There is a certain sex appeal to her, but a person would have to be capable of looking beyond the physiological differences.
Her skin is usually green, but with focus she has learned to will it back to a more Caucasian hue for purposes of stealth and blending in. Her lips, the palms of her hands, bottoms of her feet and a few other places remain green though.

I don’t even like the ones I have”
Likes: Plants, Harlequin, Ecoterrorism, Botany, Poisons
Dislikes: Humans, Batman, The Joker, Urban developers, Arkham Asylum
Personality:
Poison Ivy treats plants like people and treats people like people treat plants. All of her empathy seems to have reversed in this regard. The only exception to this rule is young children(sometimes) and Harlequin. Aside from that incredibly huge difference, she is a fairly normal mannered woman.
Of course this huge difference in empathic perception creates some pretty intense divides in her day to day. It's a non stop conflict with her to deal with people and plants put her at ease. She doesn't need to converse with them, but sometimes does. Whether or not they actually speak back is yet to be proven.
When dealing with humans, and just about anything that is not plant life, she's grouchy and annoyed, snappy, utterly lacking in empathy and thus is prone to acts that would be considered depraved and cruel by normal society.

Powers:
Physiological differences
A great deal of Pamela's Physiology and anatomy was changed by the experiments conducted by her professor. She's become a rather perfect blend of animal and plant anatomy. Great leaps in medicine could likely be made by intensive study of her cellular biology alone. These changes confer the following benefits.
- Superhuman Stamina - Without bogging it down with specifics, she is fueled by sunlight, and like plants, she is able to store this solar energy for long periods of time and can thus operate for quite a long while beyond the 'human' norm.
- Complete Immunity to Pathogens, Poisons and Toxins - Self Explanatory, if it makes "you" sick, she can't get sick from it. This includes poisons specifically designed to kill plants.
- Pseudo-Immortality - Certain strains of tree can live in excess of a thousand years. Given a good supply of sunlight and water, Pamela would have no problem living this long, or even longer.
- supernatural pheromones - Ivy is able to exude pheromones that are incredibly potent and purposed in a variety of ways beyond the norm. They can be used to control the will and actions of other living beings, primarily plants, but this can also allow her to control humans to a limited degree. She is able to concoct poisons that enhance this control in humans, but the poison must be administered to take effect.
- Poison glands - Many of the bodily fluids that poison ivy excretes now are poisonous and deadly to humans, including her saliva. Thus making her kisses deadly to unprotected individuals.
Plant control
Ivy is able to control plants completly and utterly through two distinctive pathways. She is able to combine these pathways for some truly amazing results, they are described below.
- Growth and Movement - Poison Ivy may control plant life down to the cellular level, forcing it from the bonds of normal homeostatic operation. Taking direct control of a plants physiology requires direct physical contact with the plant. While touching the plant, she can force it to expend it's reserves of energy to grow at an extremely accelerated rate, she may also transfer her own energy into the plant to force it to grow. She may control the direction and shape of the plant and if the plant is capable of movement, she may control how it moves.
- Genetic Mutation - She mutate a plant by activating certain portions of genetic code in individual plant cells as they divide, thus re-assigning their function, shape and thus the over all plant itself. All plantlife tends towards a fairly steady trend though, and this allows for an incredible variety of mutation. She could turn a rose bush into a rose tree, or moss into a wild mess of thorny vines. She can mutate a mess of vines to have the same cellular structure as the moving parts on a venus fly trap, thus enabling the vines to move in a prehensile manor.
Weapons Wrist mounted cross bow with poison tipped darts, poison varies by job but is usually lethal
Strengths/Abilities:
By combining her advanced knowledge of botany, her own dna and various types of plants, she is able to breed some truly monstrous plants. These plants aren't simply manipulated by Ivy's basic ability to control plants, they're born and bred different and thus are wildly more potent than the creations Ivy can spawn on a whim from normal plants. Guard dog plants, or plants that naturally excrete deadly toxins into the air aren't uncommon in Poison Ivy's lair.
She is also an expert marksman and a practical genius in terms of organic chemistry, botany and environmental sciences.
Weaknesses:
Hits like a girl Seriously, she hasn't got much in the way of physical prowess, she's athletic and agile, but she can't fight worth a damn beyond shooting tiny cross bow bolts off her wrist with pin point accuracy.
My Poor Babies! - Her obsession with plants often leads her into harms way rather than out of it. She will with calculateable precision, always give up the advantage or sacrifice a winning strategy in order to save a prized or rare plant.

History: Born and raised by middle class Parents Pamela developed a love for botony early on. She began attending university for it right out of high school and spent more time in a lab than any where else, even sleeping. The professor at the ivy league university she attended came to love Pamela and the two shared a passion for plants.
But he wasn't an ordinary professor, he had his own insane agenda. He used his tenure and the schools funding to research wild botany based theories and experiments. One such experiment involved Pamela and nearly cost her her life. She was in love with the man and the profession and willingly submitted to being the first test subject of such an experiment. After she was hospitalized and placed in a coma a full investigation was launched but the man fled.
When she awoke, she found she had the ability to change and control plants, and her own physiology was changing. She grew more and more aloof from life and people as time wore on. When by chance she encountered the man she formerly called lover and killed him in cold blood, her utter separation from humanity was complete. She fled into the wilderness and was content to live out her life alone with the plants until deforestation meant to make room for subdivisions drove her out. It was then she began to realize her twisted purpose in life.
To Destroy humanity and return the planet to its rightful owner, mother nature itself. This ultimate goal led her around the world and through a variety of utterly incredible adventures which more than once found her at odds with Batman and her various constituents. In and out of Arkham more than once, she encountered her one and only friend, Harlequinn. The Jokers side kick. She developed a fast hatred for the joker, but for some reason Harlequinn's dumb love and unique antics managed to pierce through Ivy's otherwise unshakable psychosis. The two became close, closer than close, for awhile, they were lovers, on and off again. They would get together, things would be great, and they'd get caught in some trouble and wind up separated or in arkham.
With the recent upset in the universe, Poison Ivy took advantage of the confusion and escaped, yet again, from arkham asylum and has been at large ever sense. She has been hiding, waiting, watching...Looking for a place and a time to strike, all the while, searching for rare plants in need of her rescue, while breeding deadly plants to help her do it.
Recently she's gotten a craving for Harley and has been searching for her. It frustrates her though, why she'd be so attached to a human of all things, but search for her she still does. Ivy is many things, but she is not the type to fight nature, especially her own.
